The Upper House - هونج كونج

The hotel is fairly new and has a contemporary feel to it. In-room check in is a great feature as they also show you all of the room functions including how to use the numerous remote controls for blinds, lights and the televisions! The room layout was particularly good and the bathroom was stunning. Be warned that the spray from the shower does spread across the floor so keep dry clothing up the benched area or rest it on the bath tub. Luxury, free amenities are great and the maxi bar is fantastic after a long day in the city. It provides a range of soft drinks, sweets, nuts, biscuits and a couple of beers for free. The hotel bar is very nice and reasonably priced for its location. The lounge area lets the hotel down as it is really only a corridor as they rely on good weather so that people can sit outside. We didn't experience such weather and therefore were confined to our room or the bar. Overall we had a great stay and were suitably impressed with the decor, amenities and quality of finish. The staff are friendly but not intrusive or over the top with their interactions with you. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel was over the top in every respect, especially the service. It cost three times (300%) more than the equivalent "first class" hotels and was worth it!

This is an exceptional hotel by anyone's standards. I can't rate it highly enough. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room is designed to perfection. My entire stay was a pleasure from start to finish (I didn't want to leave the room!). I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The service and room were outstanding. Truly a 5 Star hotel.

Due to the weather in San Francisco and dileys, we were not able to visit Hong Kong at all. Our final destination was Taiwan and to avoid being stack at an airport we changed the itenerary. Even though that the change was not voluntary, the hotel still charged us for one night and for all tours we had booked. Lesson learned, wait till you arrive to book anything additional. The Upper House was a destination of choice but since they can't make exception for unforeseen events, I don't think I would recommend it.

You have to stay here! It's absolutely amazing. Rooms much better than Mandarin Oriental where I stayed last time although MO has a great pool. Upper House is a whole new hotel experience. I had a baby and it could not have been easier.

Absolutely divine - will be back to stay in a flash! From the grand bathrooms with a spectacular view to the superb staff - staying here was a joy.

I have been to Hong Kong many times and as such I have tried many different hotels (on the upper-end (no pun intended) mostly). Staying at the Upper House was truly a very nice experience. However, I expected and had hoped for a different room configuration. I meet with friends and associates in Hong Kong and usually at some point I entertain friends back at my hotel. I had hoped that the 80 Sq Meter room would have accommodated my ability to invite friends. Unfortunately there really was no living room to allow for this. The room is all bedroom and bathroom (very nice) with seating along the windows edge, enough for a few people to lay down but no living space. I had a corner suite and thought it would have been slightly different. This was my only negative. I stayed 5 days and will possibly return. However, I prefer rooms with separate living room and bedroom/ en-suite to allow for entertaining and relaxing.

We ended our 4 week travel around Europe with a one night stay at The Upper House and it was a the perfect way to end a massive trip. We only wish we could have spent more time there! Very spacious and we had the lowest end room. Bathroom was amazing with a beautiful bath with great views. Their maxi bar is a great idea - you get free water, beer, soft drink and some snacks. Other hotels could definitely learn from this. We also had a wonderful dinner at their restaurant. We're already thinking about when we can come back to Hong Kong just so we can stay at The Upper House! Would highly highly recommend!

after years in conventional 5 star hotels ..(including others on pacific place) ...a refreshing, modern boutique style hotel , with attentive, friendly and sincere service...no fake doffing of caps and insincere grovelling. great room impeccably presented with not a drop of old world chintz in sight....highly reccomended

This is a very nice hotel, and one of the best I have stayed in Hong Kong. As always in Hong Kong, make sure everything is clear and in writing before you do anything ..... In Hong Kong "Yes" means .. yes, no, and maybe. It applies here as well.

The name says it all... It's Upper Class and it feels so inviting and homely.. Away from home to another home ! Excellent service, nothing too stuffy but casual and personal.

I have staid in many hotels around the world, the Upper House was by far the best,the staff were first class, the rooms immaculate, restaurant/bar on the 49th floor served some of the best food I have eaten All in all a never to be forgotten stay

The check in was fast & efficient. Though the room was not ready, I was also a bit early. They gladly held my bag & took my number to call me when the room is ready. No request were forgotten & truly the one hotel that puts even Four Seasons to shame! Will be back soon & possibly the only hotel I want to stay in HK. However, the room service menu are small and would be lovely if they could include some HK style soups or noodles etc.

This hotel had great service and amenities. Aside from the beautifully modern design and large rooms, the free items in the mini bar and snack bar were and added plus. The staff was very responsive to our needs and world class shopping is underneath the complex. This is definitely the place to stay!

I travel a great deal and The Upper House is truly one of the best hotels I have every visited. It is "modern minimalist" but very warm and extremely comfortable. Highly recommended.

Amazing place. From the moment you 'Check In" in your room you start to experience the wonders of the hotel. The room was large by any standards, but extremely so for Hong Kong. It was the little things that made the difference, like the fully equipped 'maxibar' where all drinks and snacks were free of charge, your own espresso machine in your room. Very modern furnisihings, with everything controlled electonically. In built surround sound system with an ipod docking station to listen to your music in the shower or in the living room. Beautiful and modern bathroom facilities with and a huge walkin shower. Definately staying there again!

Second time visiting TUH. Very nice experience! Every thing is perfect! Besides well designed furniture, they provide lots of snacks, baby stuff like baby book , baby body lotion... Best hotel in HK!

香港の喧騒を忘れさせてくれる、ゆったり静かなホテルでした。 周囲も高級ホテルが建ち並び環境がよく、直結したショッピングセンターも買い物しやすく、金鐘駅の利用も便利で、とてもよかったです。 香港には、美味しいモノが溢れていて つい食べ過ぎてしまいますが、ホテルにプールがないのだけが、自分にとってはNGでした。ジムは小型でしたが、まあ満足でした。 部屋は、80ハーバービューでしたが ハーバーは、あまり見えませんでした。その点では、できるだけ高層階がお勧めです。 今回リッツにも泊まりましたが、プールジムと眺めはリッツで、部屋と立地ではジアッパーです。

门口叫车不方便。环境不错，很安静。

ゆったりしたお部屋で、ビューバス。ミニバーのスナック、一部のアルコール以外のドリンクが無料でした。スタッフも若いけど、清潔感もありフレンドリーで英語のイントネーションもクリアでコミュニケーションしやすかったです。プールは施設内にないのですが、エキストラチャージで隣のコンラッドが使用できるようですね。（これを知っていれば滞在中ずっといたなぁ）朝ご飯もローカーボナイド、ローコレステロールを気にしているメニューもありました。また、宿泊客の客層もお洒落で上品な方が多かったです。次回、香港へ行く際、リピートしたいです。

I had a terrific time at this hotel, definitely one of the best hotels in Hong Kong, if not the best yet. The settings provide a very home feeling -- something you don't usually find in luxury hotels. The bathtub was the main reason I picked the upper house, and it did not disappoint me at all. Having a 47 floor view while bathing myself in the tube was brilliant. It really knows a customer's needs when travelling, with nail polish remover and eye cream in the bathroom, you can tell how much they care about us. A must go!

建物の中に入ると、5星ホテルには似合わないカジュアルなレセプションでチェックイン。え？ここで？といった感じ。ラグジュアリー系ホテルではありえない感じだが、チェックインからipadを使って顧客情報を管理し、ホテル内施設のダイレクトリも室内にあるipod　touchにコンパクトに集約されている。ホテル内は、どこか和風を感じさせるインテリア。木の温かみを感じるインテリアになっていて、浴室が素晴らしい！ 場所は、ホテルのすぐ外にあるリフトを使えば、パシフィックプレイスに直通で行けてショッピングにも至便！ 次回も是非泊まりたいホテルです。

에드머럴티 역에 있긴 하지만 퍼시픽 플레이스 덕분에 찾아가기도 쉽고 센트럴의 퀸즈로드와 연결되어 있어서 어디든 트램타고 찾아 가기 쉬웠어요. 피크트램도 가깝고.. 걸어서 얼마든지 찾아 다닐 수 있는 거리였어요. 교통도 좋고 위치도 좋고.. 방도 넓고 깨끗하구요.. 서비스도 좋았습니다. 선물로 주는 파우치는 쓴다고 내려놨더니 다음날 새것으로 다시 주셨더군요.. 맥시 바도 다음날 새것으로 다시 채워 주시고.. 아이팟으로 주문 하는 룸서비스도 편하고 좋았어요. 또 가고 싶네요.. 하루 더 있었으면 하는 생각을 하면서 왔습니다.

ホテルのすべてが最高でした。 入り口のオシャレなエスカレーターを昇ると、そこは別世界です。決して派手さはありません。あくまでmodannに、そしてオシャレに。 今度も必ず泊まります。

このホテルのスタッフの気配り、もてなしは素晴らしいの一言です。さまざまなお願いに対するスタッフの方の対応が徹底していて、本当に満足のいくものでした。何日でも何度でも泊まりたいと思いました。部屋は最初、山側を予約していたのですが、絶対に海側がいいです。多少値は張りましたが、途中で海側（スイートしか空いてなかった）にチェンジをお願いしました。はじめから海側にしておけばよかったのですが、すばらしい部屋に泊まることができたので、それも結果的にはよかったんじゃないかと思いました。また、必ず泊まりにいきたいです。 タクシーの運転手にはあまり知られていないため、ＪＷマリオットホテルをまず説明しないといけないのがちょっと面倒でした。

Очень культурно, чисто, пусто но очень дорого без причины. В соседнем здании МАРИОТТ в 2 раза дешевле при том же сервисе.

这个酒店规模不大，但进去的之后酒店所给人的感觉很舒适，心情很平和。不同于标准建造的五星配备的酒店，the upperhouse所呈现出的细节让身处繁华都市的旅行者可以暂时摆脱烦嚣的负担。 若以另外的角度，酒店的定位与实际市场还是有差距，总体效果及配置与之价格还是无法成正比，如价格优势能更为明显，肯定能更加受到追捧

性价比非常不错，非常棒的酒店，房间小酒吧里90%的饮料免费，小吃全部免费，洗漱间、卫生间、更衣间、盆浴、淋浴分配非常合理，空间超大，非常喜欢！香港住过最好的酒店，1-37层是JW万豪，38-49是The Upper House，完美的酒店，地铁就在你的脚下，超方便！
