Hotel De La Paix - باريس

زرنا أنا وزوجتي باريس عدة مرات، وقضينا وقتا خارج الفندق اكثر من داخله، وقد كنا نريد شيئا على مقربة من المترو وهادئ ونظيف، وهذا فندق رائع لذهذا الشيء فقط، حيث كانت الغرفة هادئة جدا معتمة (رغم أنها تطل على شارع مزدحم) عندما يتم إغلاق النوافذ والستائر الكهربائية، ويوجد تكييف للطقس الحار ولكنه لم يكن يعمل في ذاك الوقت من السنة الذي بقينا فيه هناك، وقد نمنا مرة نومة عميقة وطويلة بسبب هدوئها الزائد وعتمتها، وقد كانت الغرفة صغيرة مثل معظم الغرف التي يقل سعرها عن 200 دولار في باريس، ولكنها تكفي ٣ حقائب كبيرة وشخصين والحمام جديد ونظيف (وأكبر من بعض الفندق التي سبق وأقمت فيها)، وكان مكتب الاستقبال فائق الودية ومعينا جدا سواء عبر اللغة الانكليزية أو الفرنسية، الجانب السلبي الوحيد هو واحد كان الموقع الغريب لوقفات المصعد عند نقطة في منتصف الطريق من الدرج بحيث لا يمكن الالتفاف وبالتالي الاضطرار لحمل الحقائب عبر الدرج صعودا ونزولا، ويتمتع الفندق بموقع مثالي مقابل محطة مترو في الشارع المقابل وعلى بعد بضع دقائق سيرا على الاقدام من الحركة المحيطة بحي مونبارناس الصاخب، بالإضافة لكثرة المطاعم، إذا كنت تحمل أمتعة من محطة مونتبارناس من حافلة اير فرانس لو كارز فخذ سيارة أجرة بدلا من المشي، حيث انها تعد نزهة طويلة قليلا.

مريح وملائم لمترو الانفاق،ونَظيف، وفي حي جيد، وبقرب مطاعم جيدة ،اما الفطور فغير مدرج، رغم أنه يفترض أنه كذلك تبعا للسعر ولكن لا أزال لا استطيع فهم الدش الأوروبي المعلق على الصنبور بدلا من تعليقه مباشرة على الحائط، غير مريح للغاية، اما الموظفين فلطيفين جدا ومعينين، ويتحدثون الإنجليزية إذا لزم الأمر، قد أوصي به للأصدقاء.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean but tight, as there were 3 of us and had to have a cot added to the room. The bathroom, while small, had been recently renovated. The bedroom window opened for fresh air and had a roll-down aluminum shade which we appreciated, as it was June and still light at 10 pm. The hotel has a lovely French feel and is close to the metro and RER as well as a number of nice restaurants. I will definitely stay there again on a future trip.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel De La Paix for three days in April. The hotel was adorable and the staff was amazing! They were all so helpful with directions and advice, they even had stamps available for sending postcards which was so convenient. Our room however was not large by any means and my husband, who is 6'3" found our bathroom to be a little cramped. It was very close to the metro station with lots to see and do in walking distance, Overall we were thrilled with this quaint little place so it defiantly gets our recommendation!

Good location, two local metros, staff very friendly and helpful, decent continental breakfast comparing favorably with availability locally, room on the small side but over a long weekend this was not crucial, somewhat pricey compared to similar accomodation in Dublin but, hey, this is Paris.

Hotel & room was smaller than expected. Both were spotless clean, great location (10mins from Eiffel tower via metro). Staff were excellent & very friendly. Would highly reccomend.

Lovely family run hotel Friendly and clean and easy for raspail metro

The stay was great -- it's a good location and the hotel is very cute. It has a nice area downstairs to hang out and the room was very cute. It's a quaint place, so if you're looking for huge fluffy pillows and a pillow-top bed, this place might not be for you. The price was good and the people in the lobby were VERY kind and helpful. They printed things we needed for us and gave us great advice about places to go and things to see.

We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights. Hotel was just across road from the metro so great to get to. Most shops were only a 10 minute walk (away from the metro). Staff were so helpful and kind. Rooms were small but had everything you need. Seemed quiet on a night but there were restaurants just a short walk away. Shopping centre in the Lafayette galleries again 5 mins or you could hop on metro and go to designer shops on the champs élysées. Buy the Paris visite pass for €9.25, well worth it!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is conveniently located near a metro stop and there are some great local restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was small but very quiet.

this is a nice, charming and quaint hotel, very closed to a metro stop (raspail) and near a charming neighborhood montparnasse, where there are many good restaurants and shops. although the room is small, as most european hotel rooms are, the room is clean and comfortable (even a small bathroom). the staffs are very helpful especially Benjamin. just know that the electrical outlets are the european ones but the staff will lend you one.overall, we were not disappointed and we soke with the other guests an they all liked the place. highly recommended.

Room was small but recently renovated the right way - soundproof windows, firm mattress, new bath fixtures, hot shower, individual control of heat/air. Mini bar would have been a plus. Tiny elevator and a few stairs to navigate were a minor hassle. Location was perfect for our needs- 10 minute walk to access RER -B line to Degaulle airport and also to Gare Montparnesse.

Unfortunately, it was not as close to the Gare as declared. The WiFi was not working and hadn't been. Front desk people told me to complain to the owner.

Location is very convenient to the subway and RER. Room is small but clean. Front desk is quite friendly Wireless internet is spotty, at best.

The hotel is convenient to the metro and good local restaurants. The room was basic but clean and attractive. Mediocre view. Wifi reached room but a bit slow. Good bathroom but shower was tiny; can't imagine anyone oversized fitting in. Great breakfast in a nice room. Lovely service from all staff.

This was the third of the three hotels we stayed at in France & we paid the most for this room. We had one of the worst rooms, so maybe our experience isn't typical for the entire hotel. The room was modern, fresh, & clean. It was the smallest room we stayed in (tiny!), but about normal for a medium-priced Paris hotel.Staff were very nice & helpful. Problems with the room were the following: we were on the first floor & the lights that light up the front of the hotel were directly under our windows,so it was impossible to get it dark in the room; we wereat the end, near the elevator/stairs so we could hear people talking while waiting; the hotel next door was being remodeled & we could hear every bang they were making at 8 am; the hotel is located on a very busy road so there was a lot of traffic noise. If you were on the other side of the hotel & on a top floor, I don't think you would experience these problems. The location was very convenient to the Metro. There were lots of reasonable cafes around, but this was definitely more of a business area than a tourist area. For the money we paid, we were disappointed, especially after loving our first two, less expensive hotel rooms in other parts of Paris and in Reims (Less expensive than Paris & a beautiul, clean city with lots of things to see & do.). I'll also review the other two hotels we stayed in: TimHotel Fontaine in Paris & Hotel aux Sacres in Reims - both of which we were very happy with.)

The service is good, i left my iPhone charger and adapter as i checked out. The hotel management keep them for me on my return trip.

Great, convenient location, 5min from metro. This is a smaller, more traditional French hotel. Our room had a street view but double glazing keep it quiet. Room size was adequate, with a small compact ensuite and was spotlessly clean. Air conditioner was efficient and quiet. The lift is small and located between floors so you need to use stairs to access your room. A safe was provided, but a small fridge would have been good. Breakfast very plain...croissants, coffee & bread! We would stay again.

We loved this hotel. I chose it b/c the reviews were overwhelmingly positive. We had a car and needed parking. When I emailed the hotel directly, I received a warm, helpful reply within 10 minutes! The staff is wonderful, the location very convienient to the metro. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes around. The rooms are very small, but we only needed a clean, quiet place to sleep after wandering the city. It happened to be VERY hot and it was wonderful to have air conditioning. I recommend this hotel for short stays when visiting Paris.

I came for a quick trip to Paris with my sisters. We chose Hotel de la Paix based on the excellent reviews about its charm and its warm and personal service. We stayed in the triple room on the 6th or 7th floor. The room definitely worked just right for us, with a double bed and a twin. Bonus: it had two showers! The room was spotless. Everyone was pleasant, from the front desk staff to the housekeepers. We enjoyed challenging ourselves by taking the stairs to try to beat the lift up to our room, as it was a tight squeeze for even two people. The location exceeded my expectations. Steps from the Raspail Metro (4 and 6 got us everywhere we needed to go, from Tour Eiffel to Gare du Nord) and the Cemetaire du Montparnasse (gorgeous). Easy walk to Jardin du Luxembourg. The neighborhood comes alive as soon as you pass the cemetery (ironic, right?), with cafes teeming with people on a summer evening. Our stay at Hotel de la Paix was everything we'd hoped it would be.

Very enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't eat there, but there is a breakfast bar on the first floor. Free WiFi is a great plus. We had to pay for that in Rome.

Woman who checked us in was very welcoming. As a matter of fact, everyone including the cleaning staff was all very kind and polite when we arrived to our room. Our room was furnished with classic country decor. Simple and clean.

Staff was top notch, in particular Danielle, so helpful. Rooms very clean and basic. Staff works hard to please their guests.. Metro only 75 yards away. Yellow buses from "Open tour" stop almost in front of hotel. Small super market just around the corner; bakery at corner selling fresh baguettes, croissants, mini quiches, coffee, hot chocolate, juices pls.. Hotel has umbrellas available to their guests. We left one suitcase in their care while we toured Normady for few days. Would most definitely stay here again. Good value for your money.

we were pickpocket in our last night of stay in Paris. The man manning the night desk had been sympathetic and very helpful.

We felt extremely welcome and were excited about the decor. Well autister next to metro and central in Montparnasse. The omly minus was the fourth bed (short) in our three. But we had two bathrooms - luxury with a teenager in the family:-)

The staff were indeed very attentive and pleasant, but the 3 stars are overrating. We have been in Paris several times before and stayed at different hotels (depending on what we wanted to see, for example), so we knew that the rooms in Paris would be small, but this was tinier. For a 2 star hotel, this would be just right, but from a 3 star hotel we had expected more, based on previous experience. The tiny room painted in gray, felt like a penitentiary. The bed was a little bumpy and the airconditioning was difficult to set to a pleasant temperature. Although the temperatures outside were very pleasant, inside it was hot and stuffy, and since my husband has medication that had to be kept in cool temperature, we had to use the airconditionning. Opening the window was not dependable enough, plus it would take more space from the small room. All in all the place was clean, the bathroom recently renovated, the loby pleasant and the staff marvellous, but the rating of 3 stars was definitely misleading. The ratings the hotel got on the the net led us to book the room, but there is no connection in what was had been said and reality.

Concierge staff was very nice and helpful. The location is great--away from the crazy tourist areas yet still close to a metro that will get you to where you want to go. Also, the hotel is near plenty of delicious creperies. I loved every bit of my stay at this hotel. The room was small but isn't every room in Paris?? This hotel room was extremely efficient with the small space. Highly recommended!

Small, friendly, very close to the Montparnasse tower. Raspail metro stop about 2 minutes walk away. Rooms small but on a par with other Paris hotels

Hotel is very nice and everyone was very friendly. It is located in a very nice area and close to the subway....which is very easy to use and a must for seeing the city. My girfriend and I stayed 4 nights and had a great time. Rooms were very clean. Service was friendly and very nice. Hotel has TV with a few english channels, bathrooms are a little small but they all are in europe so it was expected but totally sufficient. Location is great but a little bit out of the way. Great area with cafes and such. But if it was not for the subway it would be a little far to walk. The Tower is about 25 min all in with subway and walk...actually very easy and fast. I would have stayed closer to all the action but it was a little more expensive. So for the little extra time it was worth it. I can not say again that the subway is easy to use and cheap....about $1.25 per one way ticket.

We spent 6 days in Paris and had the most remarkable time. The hotel was our oasis after a great day of walking, sight seeing. I plan on giving this hotel to anyone I know that is going to Paris. The front desk staff especially were absolutely top notch, translating for us, giving us directions, printing things off computer for us. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else!Location is a 1/2 block away from Metro. Felt very safe in the neighborhood in the evenings.

We have a very comfortable stay at this hotel. It's a great location and easy to find from the Metro. The wifi internet is very fast and that was nice to have. The hot water is VERY hot and so the shower can be a little hard to get comfortable. It is a very quiet hotel and we were able to get a good solid rest there. The hotel staff is helpful and knowledgeable.

The hotel is very clean and the room although not large was a good size for Paris. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is 2 minutes from a metro station and a 10 minute walk from the RER link from Charles de Gaule airport. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants near the hotel and a lovely pattiserie almost next door. I would happily go back and stay again.

Hotel was better than I expected. The staff were very friendly and helped us out with a travel plug and took care of our luggage after we checked out. The rooms are very clean and modern - although a bit small, in a city you can't expect big luxurious rooms - although they were very well kept. The hotel had a cute cottage feel and the staff seemed to know exactly who you were. Breakfast wasn't to my taste as they offered a continental breakfast, but it was cheaper than surrounding cafes if you were to chose something more British. Good location only few steps from the metro that takes you to Eiffel Tower in about 15min! Overall, would definitely recommend this hotel to couples in particular. Lovely weekend break :)

The Hetel De La Paix in Paris is a small, unfussy hotel. I was in room 11. The room itself was small, quiet, basic, clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to a number of shops and restaurants and is about 30 mins away from Gare Du Nord by taxi. The metro is a stone throw away and line 4 gets you to Gare Du Nord - very convenient. The hotel staff from arrival to departure were excellent. My stay there really put them to the test. A friend and I had eaten at a local bistro not too far from the hotel and unfortunately I contracted food poisoning! The moment the staff were aware that I was violently ill they went out f their way to care for me, including calling a doctor at 3am and allocating a bed post check-out. As anyone who has been horribly ill away from home, these 'human touches' make all the difference. Rarely have I experienced so much genuine care and consideration. The staff were/are exceptional. Some of the rooms are prettier than others - largely due to the colour used. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Just got back last week from a 4 night stay at Hotel De La Paix. Small room, but a cozy feel. Nice, relaxed lobby area. convienent to metro and RER. Took the RER from CDG and got off at Port Royal- only a 10 min walk to the hotel. Metro Raspail down the street-found the metro system to be very easy in Paris overall. I would definitely stay here again!

Pleasant hotel and helpful staff in a reasonably pleasant and safe neighbourhood. It's only 100m from the metro (Raspail) , but a little out of it for most tourist sights - good for Jardin de Luxembourg though. Eating in the neighbourhood is expensive, though there were a few good value restaurants. Overall - nice stay - we'd definitely go back

super awesome hotel ! The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to please us. Rooms were beautiful and very clean and tidy, great location !would stay again !!!

It was worth the amount we paid. The rooms and bathroom were very small so if you are very tall take this into consideration. The location was good relative to transportation to the airport and proximity to the Metro. There were many restaurants in the area at all different price points. The elevator was very small (typical of most older European hotels) but it was a bit awkward because when you opened the door at any given stop you were at the middle of a flight of stairs. So as a result you either had to carry your luggage either up or down a 1/2 flight of stairs.
