Not only was the hotel beautiful , it was close to everything , the staff were outstanding , great tour guides , great food and cocktails !!! I could not recommend this hotel more , booking my return as we speak !!

The hotel was fine. Very clean and a nice outdoor pool. It is about a 2 minute walk away from the main road and the rooms are set behind the main lobby which meant that you could get a quiet nights sleep away from the busy night life (except from the 1 night where the couple next door were arguing!)

Deevana was a great place to stay, friendly staff & very serviceable resort. I would definitely stay there again.

This is first time i been to Phuket, i chosed stranded room in Deevana resort, but unfortunately it was not good option to live there. room was not decorated and not provided with the essentials facilities ! and i didn't find hotel staff friendly with the guests, i remember in the early morning i checked out for the airport and i need to make one phone call to the texi driver but the the front desk lady asked me i'll charge 20 Bath to make a call single callb!

Nice pool that we could use during late night with very quiet and green area surrounding it. The room was always clean though one day I found that staff didn't lock the room and the room stayed open for almost a day. There was no Wi-fi in the Residence wing where we stayed. It was only in the lobby/restaurant area which was very inconvenient and I ended up using mobile internet. Upon arrival our names where highlighted on the board in the lobby and welcome drinks provided in the restaurant. The location is great. On our booked tourist trips we were always the first to be picked up and dropped by van drivers as hotel located at the very beginning of the city. Overall very pleased with the stay in this hotel, very relaxing experience.

Deevana was an amazing place to stay for our five night stay. the staff were brilliant and it was just a great atmosphere.

our stay was very good but only downside hotel could have had more first aid facilities but this is a tourist industry problem in thailand but aprt from that nice hotle close but back from main drag nice pool but you have to upgrade to floor levels 2 & 3 for this if your on the gound floor in the basic room they are not nice

New hotel of good standard for a reasonable price at time of stay. Quiet location is a definite plus

Well maintained hotel, in a bit noisy area we were staying also in Karon which was completely different. Good choice for people who want to party.

First of all there is no free Internet as it is written. They told me that their passwords have finish and they asked me to use the business corner that has extra charge. Generally the staff always asked for money. The room is not so nice like in the picture. I was lucky that I booked just for one day so the next day i changed hotel.

Resort was very big and green. Located very near to the patong beach. Staff was good. Rooms were very small and had mosquitoes. could improve on the room upkeep, rest no issues.

Good resort hotel with walking distance to patong beach & nightlife & the seafood restaurants near the hotel were good & convenient.

Its a decent hotel.Had a nice stay.Was there for 3 days.Service was pretty gud. Hotel staff were very friendly.Its ideally located not very far from the market place and beaches.Cleanliness was standard.Hotel pool was gud and the service at the pool was gud as well.I would defintely recommend sumone to stay there.

Hotel has good location and very quiet surroundings. Quality of stay was lowered by aircon fan that was noisy and unable to adjust, and the fact that we could not keep our room after 1PM even if we asked upon arrival to stay later because our flight was at 10PM in the evening. Friendly staff otherwise helpful, had great trip to James Bond Island, arranged by hotel in 10 minutes! Recommended!

Amazing ambience, pleasant staff, great & clean room quality (jaccuzzi incl), fantastic food experience. Location of the resort couldn't be more apt. Quiet into the resort but very close to the beach & neighbourhood shopping areas.

I with my wife, enjoyed our stay at the hotel for 4days. Nice location. Very near to Beach, shopping and hotels but still its peaceful. Those who wants calm peaceful place to stay, this is one of good option. And also they provided inside room amenities fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, tv and out side amenities like spa(chargeable), gym and swimming pool. Our self, happy staying at this place.

good enough. 20 mins walk to Joncylon. 5 min walk to Patong beach.

The service at hotel was very good. The ambience of the hotel is very good. It is not so far from Patong beach so easy to commute. There are various food joints on the main road which is 500 mts from hotel.SO if you want to enjoy other flavours you can visit there too.

If you are looking for a nice 4 star place to stay this is it, not too far of a walk from the major road and beaches

I loved Kanok Buri, the staff were really nice and we had a great time. We didn't want to leave. The resort was a bit out of the way. But you can hire a scooter from the store across the road for 250 Baht and go exploring. Also, the area is nice and peaceful. Definitely a good place to stay if you need to get away from the stress of everyday life!

Overall the hotel is okay, reasonable price and excellent location, but you should have insecticides as there are a lot of mosquitoes and some other strange insects. The receptionists are not very helpful. I asked for a late check out for only two hours but they refused though I made sure that the room was not booked at the same day. On getting my luggage at my leaving time, I found a European Couple checking out with a late check out. That upset me and actually I plamed the receptionists. I may stay at that hotel again but I will keep my insecticides.

we were very happy with our stay here for our honeymoon, the staff are very friendly and do everything they can for you the breakfast had a good variety, our room was very comfortable and nice and our very own pool was amazing. we would definatley reccomend to others and we would love to come back and stay again.

We were recommended by friends to stay at this resort for our time in Patong Beach. They said it was clean, convenient, really nice pools, it had a swim up bar and great staff. All of these things were spot on. I would like to add more to the positives of our stay here. The buffet breakfast was excellent, we filled up each morning and it was always fresh with very friendly service. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. Our room was very comfortable, it was quiet and the aircon was amazing. The negatives; if you dont like cats or frogs - dont stay here. There are about 20 cats roaming the grounds who are very friendly but not in your face, and at night there is a high chance of kicking a frog on your way back to the room (I did this on two occasions by accident after enjoying a banana pancake from the cart outside the hotel). The drinks, pool food and restaurant are expensive and not particularly good, however, 2 minutes down the road are some amazing road food carts and very cheap. I would stay here again as the price is very competitive and location is convenient but it was the staff and service who stood out and made us stay an extra 4 nights here instead of changing hotels as we had originally planned.

location is ok, on the main rd about 15 mins walk from Jungceylon shopping centre. I was in the garden wing, the room is very dated. There was also a mosquito problem, somehow one or two mosquitos would keep entering the room which was annoying. not a terrible hotel, but for the price I think you can do better.

This hotel is just okay value - there is one new pool area but otherwise everything is looking a bit aged (especially with the grout falling out everywhere). The breakfast was good so for the price we paid in the spa wing - this was okay value. Oh, and the location on some maps for this resort is incorrect. It's two blocks back from the beach and about 1.5km-2km from Bangala Road.

I have been going to Thailand for the past 15years and have stayed at many hotels and resorts. In the last few years I have stayed at the Deevana and will not stay any where else. I took my teenage children with me on my last trip in December who formed long term friendships with the staff mentioned.Great resort, value and the staff are 2nd to none, especially Sharee, jirraporn and Saraporn ( at reception ) who can't do enough to make your holiday most enjoyable.

hotel is really nice resort,and service is great! Clean rooms ,good bathrooms and nice pools. only bad thing is that street next to the hotel is one way street if you use car or motorbike, you hawe to drive around to get back to hotel.

Good location, decently clean, good room service. I just spent 1 night there, on my way to a diving trip, so it was fine for the basics - clean enough and convenient enough. Good breakfast spread for only THB200.

We stayed at this hotel over new years. One thing I was not happy with was the fact that we had to pay 8000 baht extra on arrival to attend to their new year's party, and this was compulsory. I know, it was written in their conditions, and I know it was my mistake, however, I am still think you should not be forced to pay to attend to a party and I know some people will agree with me as I saw many couples discovering this unpleasent surprise on check-in. Apart from the previous episode, the time spent at this hotel was nice and smooth. Breakfast is really good. The bed was comfy. The room big and the bed was huge. TV had plenty of channels. The bathroom was clean. Air conditioning was fine. Swimming pools are good size and clean. Overall this hotel is really good, however, I think my experience with the extra money I had to pay on arrival for the new years gala party spoiled things a bit because I was expecting this to be optional, and besides, I think 4000 baht per person was a bit expensive. My boyfriend and I stayed for 5 days between the 14th and 19th of December 2011. As many other reviews have written, the staff are wonderful at this hotel. They have good english and are very willing to help. We booked a superior room in the new spa wing and were upgraded to a delux room. It was wonderful - we had our own plunge pool overlooking the main pool area! The rooms have been refurbished, which is not shown on the internet photos. In fact we stayed in the exact room shown on the internet for the delux rooms and it is far nicer than in the photos - eg there is a flat screen TV and new, nicer furniture. The other old part of the hotel is totally different. The grounds are nice but it is not nearly as good as the new wing. The renovations around the pool areas are complete and look lovely. We were very happy with the location- only 200 baht tuk tuk ride into the centre of town, bangla road or the beach (approx $6 aus). Tuk tuks are easy to get from out the front of the hotel (about 50m walk down the road).
