The Westin Washington Dulles Airport - هرندون

Everything was very nice and wonderful until you start using internet and WiFi, drinking water in the room and may be more. If you are just traveling and not their prefered guest or member you will be puying for Internet access (I never paid a dime in Hotels and motels my last 5 years), and my bigger surprise was the fee for water. Unbelievable. Why would a 4-5 start hotel charge you for a bottle of water. I would prefer to have a price for my 2-3 days and do not worry about Internet and bottled water. I could buy 32 bottles of same water somewhere in grossery store...Well. Otherwise this newly built hotel is nice and I might think to stay there next time, assuming they fixed these little inconveniencies.

It is always a pleasure to stay here. The people are so friendly and helpful, and most of all, the elegant rooms and the extremely comfortable bed make us feel special.

the shuttle service is mediocre ... I waited a full 45 minutes to be picked up ... when I called they said the shuttle runs at 15 and 45 on the hour ... the following morining I had to take a taxi at the hotel as the scheducle was now reported on the hour and 1/2 hour ... upon requesting and explanation none was given ... while waiting Marriott, Hyatt, etc. has 3 or 4 shuttles come by to pick up passenger ... unacceptable.

We rented a car and tried to find the hotel from the airport -- very hard at night, since road to entrance takes many twists and turns off freeway. I suggest that the hotel supply detailed directions for similarly challenged visitors. Also, a minor pt -- there was no shower cap in our room. However, the availability of a late night snack in our room was a definite plus. The staff was very pleasant.

This is good place to stay. It is clean and comfortable and a reasonable price for this area.

The hotel is well located from the airport and the shuttle service is excellent. Services at the restaurant is excellent and room very comfortable. Very good shuttle service and drivers very helpful when you need their service. As someone with walking disability, I did appreciate the nice shower without a bathtub. As I am noticing in many hotels now, the bed is very high making it almost impossible to get dressed and putting on my shoes without feeling that I am going to lose my balance. The other issue is that the handicap accessible room is much further away from the elevator. This is a major issue for many other hotels too. Other than that, this is an excellent hotel for someone needing a place near Dulles International Airport.

Everything about this hotel is perfect, but especially comfortable are the beds. We both sleep so well when we stay here, which is not always the case in different hotels. We come here for the beds!

Excellent service. Relaxed at the Westin for a night before our trip. Left the car at the hotel for 3 days while travelling. Very comfortable 10min shuttle to Dulles. Would do it again in a heart beat.

This is an exceptional hotel and consistently an exceptional value. 10 minutes to Dulles 20 minutes to downtown DC sites the hotel has a great indoor pool great bar and food. Nice quiet neighborhood. It is our preferred DC hotel regardless if we are travelling out of Dulles. Have brougt my children there as well and they love it too.

I had just completed a 13 day tour of Turkey followed by a 12 hour flight, and The Westin was the perfect ending - excellent food and service, well appointed room, and extremely comfortable bed. The Westin always provides top notch service

Great location for airport, but plan to eat there. The surrounding neighborhood is residential.

The shuttle service was not well arranged. As close as the hotel to the airport is should be 15 mins and not 30-45 mins.

Bang for your buck! I felt as if I paid more than what I actually did. Hotels.com really had the best rate available & the Hotel was great! Check in was a breeze and friendly service. Decor is very pretty. everything is Brand new! Spacious bathrooms with the best shower feature (double shower head) Beds were very comfortable. Parking was free & Easy to locate. The hotel isn’t surrounded by any attractions or restaurants but they're not that far (driving). I will certainly stay there again!

The hotel was in a lovely location with plenty of nearby shopping and restaurants some of which the hotel provided shuttle service to. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and make my stay comfortable.

First class hotel from the quality and comfort of the room to the caliber of the hotel staff. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

This is always a stellar hotel to stay at. The beds are so comfortable - for a bad back.

Great hotel! Little hard to find. Hotel personnel helped find it easily. Very quiet nice setting. Would stay here again. You won't be disappointmented. Friends stayed at another hotel and they wanted to change to Westinghouse!

I really enjoyed the comfort of the hotel. The beds were great for a good night's sleep! the staff was very pleasant and accomodating. We loved the environmental treatment of the room and the fountain outside our window.We were pleased to see the green roof and the full attention to the environmental friendly products in the bathrooms. This hotel is a great gem and we would like to come back for a nice week-end get away!

This is a nice hotel but there were not plugs next to the bed unless you got on your hands and knees to reach under the end table wall. This one thing made my stay awkward since I could not use my laptop when I was on the bed. Convenience and comfort is important.

I was worried about possible noise due to closeness to the airport. Not at all an issue. Free self-parking. Awesome choice. Would stay there again,

The hotel is gorgeous and green-friendly. The room I had was absolutely perfect, though I would've liked something a little higher up. My one big issue was that the air-conditioning made this annoying noise when it kicked on that just bugged me every time I caught it, but if you're not the type to care about those things, this hotel was just perfect. The other thing to note is that if you are going to DC for sight-seeing, this hotel is a bit of a drive and cabs are not exactly cheap. Given its location, though, I loved staying there!

Stayed recently for 4 nights. Very satisfied with overall quality of hotel and accommodations. Recommend the pan seared salmon from the restaurant, which I enjoyed at the hotel bar. Very convenient to both the airport and Reston, VA. Very affordable rates through hotels.com for a full service hotel.

Newer hotel. Slightly off the beaten path. Could have had better signage to find it. Lovely rooms, great bathroom, fantastic shower. Great overall!

We enjoyed this hotel while we spent a weekend in DC. It was a little further than most would perhaps want to drive, but we appreciated the free parking. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was fine, but could have been a little more pleasant and helpful. It had a great gym.

I got a great last minute deal on this one. We were staying in DC and decide to extend our stay another day. this was a great find a bit far east of Metro DC, near Dulles airport. decor is definitely 4 star. restaurants and shops are near by so this one worked out very well.

Excellent hotel for the money. 4 stars without any doubt. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Clean, or should I say spotless. Comfortable beds. Great location.

The Westin Dulles was very convenient as we were connecting with an international flight the following day so were able to rest in comfort. The shuttle to and from the airport was also great - no long waiting times.

Overall the service at the hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was helpful and was attentative to my requests. There are two areas however that I want to point out that may warrant a review. First the room service menu needs to be reviewed. My wife and I used room service on three different occasions. The mushroom gnocci was heavy on the sauce. The cesar salad with chicken was plain and the portion for the cheesecake dessert was too small. It reminded me of the Jello cheesecake mixes one buys at the grocery. Second, work must be done to improve the sound dampening in the gym. We stayed in room 237 which is directly accross the hall from the gym. When folks in the gym became sloppy with their reps we heard it each and every time they let the weights hit the floor or the stack on the machines. This occurred early in the morning when we were sleeping and in the evening when we were attempting to relax. Other than those two areas our stay at the hotel was satisfactory.

The hotel is very clean - from hallways to the room's bathrooms. Everything looks new, you won't get that feeling when you see it's clean but comes from 1960s. HBO for free (TMC building is across the street :). Very quit neighbourhood with condo apartments and office buildings, lots of trees. If you're staying here because you want to get to DC, be prepared to pay tolls - a couple of dollars. It's a half an hour drive to the center of DC. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that during my one night stay, maid knocked on my door twice thinking that I checked out, ready to clean the room and didn't speak much English so it was hard to say whether she understood the first time I told her that I have juct checked IN and will be leaving the next day. This didn't ruin y stay though. I am very satisfied. You can't beat the price for what you get here.

The Westin Dulles was a great hotel. Very modern with a nice parking garage attached to the back of it. Was nicely located off the two main highways but was a little tricky to find as it was only reachable behind some condos / apartments. It was a quick 45 drive to downtown DC for site seeing and a quick ride back to relax and rest in the evenings. If you are taking a training class located in the tech offices in the area it was fairly fast to get to anything in the area from here. All the hotel staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean and up to date. I love the large stand up showers. I hope to get to visit here again.

Hotel was beautiful and clean - restaurant has great food! My only (minor) complaints are that the bartender wasn't the best and the host could have been friendlier when I checked in. For the price you pay, I want a warm welcome and excellent service in the restaurant. The cab ride is roughly $12 from Dulles, without tip, but the shuttle is great!

We were in the area for only one night and could not have asked for a better a better place to spenf the night. We choose your holel because of the locattion to the airpoet. Thank you for a night to remember. The Peters

Very nice hotel, excellent service, but difficult to get to from the airport the first time, will be easier next time now that I know how to get around that area.

Very difficult place to find. Not on GPS yet. Nice hotel and room but everything cost extra. $9.95/ day for internet, Coffe had to be purchased at an onsite Starbucks in the lobby. No newspaper in the morning. $0.50 per local call plus so much a minute. No book in the room to tell you about amenities or a local map of where we were. We stayed 2 nights there and 2 chairs that belong into rooms, sat in the hallway the whole time. I would not stay there again

We came to the Westin Dulles for a visit to the new annex to the National Air and Space Museum. It's a VERY nice hotel, and far less expensive than hotels in DC. The service was excellent. My only warning would be about the Dulles Airport area. If you don't have a reason to be out there, there's not much to do (with the exception of the museum, which is great, and the hotel can give you a ride).
