Frienjdly hotel but very narrow and dangerous stairs to first floor bedrooms. Car park 250 metres from hotel.

This is a basic, but clean hotel. I used it as a stopover, it's relatively close to the motorway, and easy to find. The room was good for the price paid, very clean, and the breakfast is good. I think it's a good alternative for the more expensive hotels in Brugge, but you would need to travel a bit.

Convenient hotel for visiting Bruges, Ostend, Gent and Antwerp as quite close to a railway station. A cheaper alternative to a Bruges hotel, and the rail tickets are inexpensive. Hotel built 1935ish condition average but good value for money. Old cinema in the hotels and the hotels theme is movies. Easy to get to using Eurostar and changing at Brussels. A couple of eating houses in the local town that were quite good food tends to be more Dutch than anything.

A simple but well maintained hotel. If you are going to Bruge the location is not so convenient, 20 minutes by train in a town that has nothing to offer. The price is very high for its value.

This lovely botique hotel is ideally located to visit Brugge and Ghent, at a fraction of the price. It has it's own cinema and each room is themed after a hollywood classic. It's a real pity it fails to deliver on the promises of its website... We stayed in the Bonny & Clyde room (No 15) which looks onto the main street. It was late Sunday night when we arrived. Where we were let down: - the free parking at the hotel is actually in a local council parking area some distance from the hotel and not secure (it was a reasonable walk landen with luggage down a narrow alleyway!) - the free wifi was locked an unaccessable - the room was not well maintained - the main light did not work, the window did not close properly etc - the railway station was not as close as we had been led to believe - this is important if you intend to use it as a base for visiting Brugge/Ghent -the surrounding area was not at all pleasant, no real cafe/restaurant area and to cycle in the woodland (picture on website) its quiet a cycle to get there! Despite the room was small and yet despite this a whopping great big wardrobe had been put in the middle which made getting around the room tricky. In addition, even when we finally managed to shut the window (it was banging in the wind and even my handyman husband couldnt get it to close initially) the noise from the street (and it was a Sunday night) from cars and revellers was so distrubing we could not sleep until around 3 am. Sleep was short as around 5 am we were woken by the very loud sound of water following through the pipes as the other guests woke and showered. We were even blessed with their conversations if they were in the rooms closer to ours. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on this. There was however a film running in their cinema when we arrived. The hotel has such great potential, its decorations are fun and you could do well here, if they only attended to the maintenance!

If you don´t want to pay for expensive hotels in Brugge, this one is just 15 minutes by train, quite cheap, nice, pleasant, with a good breakfast.

hotel difficile à trouver !

Hotel agréable à 30 minutes de Bruges (par autoroute) ce qui est pratique lorsque l'on veut visiter la ville, mais aussi Osteende. Chambre confortable, : sanitaires/ salle de bain/ litterie tres propre, quelques poussieres et une mauvaise isolation cependant. De plus, le personnel est accueillant. Petit-déjeuné peu fourni pour le prix. Parfait pour un couple. Très bon souvenirs de ce passage au Capitole !

Leuk hotel als tussenstop maar ook voor een langere periode, gelegen in een dorpje. Nette kamers met filmthema's. Er is ook een bioscoop in hetzelfde pand gevestigd. Het personeel is vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam.

Et dejligt værelse. Meget god og venlig service/betjening.

Hotel pas tres loin de bruges(environ 20km) et pas cher. La chambre etait bien,propre. L'hotel a un parking libremais on peut se garer facilement dans les rues d'aalter.pour une nuit, l'hotel nous a donné entiere satisfaction.

Het hotel is goed voor een overnachting. Het hotel dient gerenoveerd te worden, waar men deels reeds mee bezig is.

Tres satistfait davoir passez une nuit dans cette hotel vraiment pas decut de notre choix Hotel tres propre un sercice impecable avec le sourire .

Très bon moment passé dans cet hôtel. Le cadre était original, le service impeccable et les chambres très propres. Une adresse à conserver pour un prochain voyage!

Ménage douteux... Mauvaise isolation phonique, donc très bruyant côté couloir et rue. Dysfonctionnement du chauffage (thermostat du radiateur bloqué à fond...) Point positif : accueil : des efforts de français.

très très bonne surprise,nous sommes arrivé vers 11 heures du soir après une journée de visite a Bruges, et quel ne fut pas notre surprise en arrivant...une enveloppe nous attendais pour nous transmettre la clef et le numero de chambre. une chambre fraichement renové très confortable. et à peine a quinze minutes de Bruges...bon a savoir!
