Pichi's Hotel Convention Center - غوايانيا

Wifi only works in the lobby, despite what they say. This hotel has clean rooms but everything else seems to be in despair. Room numbers missing, restaurants closed during the day, breakfast very poor. When I was waiting for some eggs to be cooked, there was a roach on the counter, I mentioned it to the cook and he just threw it to the side, did not even attempt to kill it. That was pretty disgusting. This hotel gives me the impression that it was meant to be luxurious and somehow got poor management or they ran out of money to maintain it. It looked pretty empty. I wonder their occupancy rate it.

Food????Poor dreakfast.

It is good for a quick stay. But, somehow every time I've been there, I get really allergic and stuffy.

its was a really nice stay, room was clean. bed was comfortable. room was big. it was quiet. the staff was friendly, check in took a while due to having just one employee at front desk. only one elevator working. breakfast was good enough. location is good, right beside the highway, close to beaches, ponce, lajas, la parguera, cabo rojo. so is really nice to go sight seeing or to the beach. would return to this hotel, and recommend it to anyone.

We stayed for three nights....we noticed down the halls that a lot of rooms were missing digits signs. In order to locate a room have to count to figure out th room number...both guest elevators were our of service during our entire stay...we had to use the servic elevator...walls in the room were dirty...the was missing key chain even the secure lock was missing...but at least the door close...th ceiling in the bathroom was falling off..aparently got well and was never replaced...seems that owners want to keep the hotel and money going.. but not willing to fix anything having the employees working with half of equipment broken...

Excelent accomodations and rooms.

I don't like ir. The rooms smell pretty bad and there's no hot water. I hope never came back.

bad experience with almost everything except cleanliness and comfort of the room.

The isn't anything for the guest to entertained themselves at evening time. Casino closed, swimming pool closed early, bar no one arround. Only able to relax in your room, nothing else to do.

Overall Good. Checking in took too long, pool closed at 8 pm probably should have open later especially if families traveling with children. They are on vacation and we would of liked to stay at the pool until at least 10 pm. Had to check out towels for the pool. It is a hassle to have to check out towels and turn them in. The breakfast buffet that came with the booking was a good hot breakfast. It was the best since we were traveling with children.

Me and my girlfriend stayed for a nice weekend getaway. It is located relatively near a lot of places to visit like Ponce, La Parguera, and such. The hotel is nice, clean, and comfortable. The room was very cozy and very clean. The Amapola restaurant, I'm talking about the physical space, is ok. The chairs and tables feel kinda awkward. The food is GREAT!!! and the service was very good. The hotel breakfast could use some fine tuning, but its pretty decent. It was a good experience and I would definitely return there.

Breakfast average to below average. Hotel convention center needs preventive maintenance. Ground need upkeep, gardening.

I think i got what i wanted, a very secluded, quiet, away from it all kind of place. The service was awesome, breakfast was good but it could have been better by adding bacon instead of boiled ham every morning.

It has great facilities in a quiet place. The hotel is new and very comfortable. In my opinion, it needs more maintenance because they failed in silly things like an exit sign balancing in a hall or a messy entrance garden.

I enjoyed my stay. But the free breakfast did not come with orange juice. It came with fruit punch. When I asked for orange juice I was given somehing that tasted sweeter than Tang. I told the waiter that it wasn't real orange juice. But he insisted it was because the container for which he poured it read Orange Drink. It seems that English on the Island is not alway the kind taught in stateside schools.

everything was good expected a little more of night time, for thing to do at the hotel seens evrything around closed to early. The Amapola rest was not of satisfaction althought we where staying at the hotel beverage was not aloud in the restaurant so we had to decide to go and eat at another place where they aloud us to go in with outside drinks, the treat of the person in charge of the restaurant eas very unprofesional at the time to inform that we wheren't aoud to go in although we where staying at the hotel,is some time little things like these that makes the diference from been good to been aoustanding to been just enough. But in a all around gave me and my familly a time for relaxation. The front desk was very professional and the check in and check out.

The pichi is a great hotel in a area with few options, the pichi is a great hotel in any standard but its location makes it that much better if you don't want to stay in Ponce and have immediate access to travel anywhere on the island.

h otel is need of maintenance and room service

Not only was the staff courteous but they went out of their way to make my family welcome. Stayed there last year and looking forward to next year.

It was a great experience, and I will repeat it, thanks for everything

My only observation is that b'fast buffet has a lot of room for improvement!

For a one night stay is a good choice for more than one night is not a great choice. The breakfast never changes. For five days they offer scramble eggs, ham, french toast and oat meal nothing else. Services at the restaurant was poor. Sleeping room was not clean, had stains all over and ants. Reported to the front desk that the restroom door was not working and it took them a second reminder. Hotel was two hour out of San Juan. The pool was not clean had mold. Housekeeping come in to the room just to take the trash and make the beds but not clean the restroom or tub.

The hotel over all was very good, the service was awfull. They are not service oriented. The food was good and the cleanliness was great. Dont know if I will visit again.

Really calm. Great for weekend. Breakfast included. Also fast food rest are near. Everything was nice. Only room service is a liytle late around 3pm.

The hotel is close to Ponce and also to some of the best beaches in the Island. Rooms are big and kept in very good conditions. Price is in accordance with the room and facilities.

We booked a room through hotels.com very last minute.....it was already 8pm and we were driving through the area and needed to stop for the night. We were pleasantly surprised with how nice the hotel was. It was extremely beautiful and our room looked like something you would find in a very upscale spa hotel. The casino was right off the lobby and was tons of fun! The lobby bar had live salsa music and many couples were dancing on the dancefloor. The hotel restaurant provided us with a delicious breakfast buffet the next morning. We would completely recommend this hotel!!! Loved it!!

My family and I stayed at this hotel for almost a week. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. Initially we were worried about not being able to sleep due to the noise from the casino, but that was not the case. Our room was on the 3rd floor and we could not hear anything. We love the large selection of breakfast items! My only recommendation would be to request, if you need one, a microwave at check-in.

Although the room comfort is excellent, personnel cleaning the rooms must improve in things as furniture, tub cleanliness. Otherwise the hotel provides the neccesary services to spend a nice stay.

Pichi's Hotel, tiene unas facilidades con potencial de desarrollo. En cuanto al desayuno incluido, puedo resaltar que el empleado del area tuvo un desempeno sobresaliente, este servia la mesa, preparaba el desayuno y limpiaba el area. Por otro lado debo indicar que la Recepcion tuvo un desempeno pobre, empleados hablando por telefono en temas personales, mientres el cliente tenia que espererar. No tenian disponible la tarjeta para entrar a la habitacion, tuve que esperar al siguiente dia, entonces en la tarde habian desactivado la tarjeta cuando la salida era al siguiente dia. El Restaurant anunciado para almuerzos y cena, no abrio operaciones y el Casino estaba Cerrado. Espero que tomen estos datos como herramienta para mover las Operacion de Pichi's Hotel y pueda mejorar su desempeno para atraer y retener cleintes que deseen regresar a hospedarse.
