Beleza By The Beach - كولفا

Very quiet, at the end of a dead-end road. It almost has it's own private beach, since it's far from the main beach access at Colva. The only complaint is that the staff is a bit distant and not the friendliest. The a/c in the common area was also not working. Overall very relaxing. A ways away from the main town. If you want quiet this is for you.

Stay was decent. Far away from the city. If you want to be away from the city just to chill out in the pool and in your room it should be good. Resort is NOT directly attached to the beach. You need to walk in a small path to get on to the beach. One good thing about this beach is, it is very calm.

such a shame as the hotel is quite nice..but the location is in the middle of no where. The hotel itself is very comfortable, but lots of wasted space in the accommodation blocks...kitchens unused, no utensils, lounge areas beautifully decorated, never used. Pool lovely..breakfast included, but limited optins. Reception was never attended when we called for advice or assistance. Needs to have a shuttle to and from a major town. Beach shack is a nice idea, but again under utilised. Our bathroom had a dreadful odour form the sewerage!!

During 2 veckor in India we stayed at 8 different hotels in different cities and Beleza was definitely the best! Very good breakfast (also the best I had in India) and generally good food at the restaurant, not too high prices, very friendly and helpful staff, amazingly fast room service. The property is beautiful and green, nice buildings that did not get heated up too much during the day (we almost did not have to use the AC). The room was huge and so was the bathroom. The pool was clean and big enough for the amount of guest staying. The beach was broad and clean and completely empty which felt very comformable since at the other beaches the locals were staring at us all the time and taking pictures. In case you need more "action", you can walk along the ocean to the Colva beach where you find plenty of people and small restaurants. We were also allowed to use all the hotel facilities the whole day after checking out. Beleza was the perfect ending of our rather intensive stay in India.

Upside: Great swimming pool, functioning sauna, big rooms, large balconies facing the pool, large common sitting room, only three rooms in each building (there are 4 buildings, I think), big neat kitchen for guest use; room service not bad; 100 mts away from the beach, private path to the beach, even has towel and shower service right at the entry to the beach; Jimmy's, an excellent restaurant 100 mts away. Downside: a bit far from the cab/auto stand (though cabs available at the gate of the hotel at a higher price); the complimentary breakfast is skimpy, the front desk is not knowledgable enough about tourist attractions. Summary: Great resort Hotel. Ever better if travelling with a large family and/or friends and their families.Rent one entire building; Time permitting, cook, barbeque. Enjoy!.

The first thing to say about Goa is that it is beautiful. The hotel however was not up to western standards as far as service, amenity, and food are concerned. As any traveller in India knows, power points are different, and in each hotel around India, the front desk has been happy to provide them. At this hotel, they iniatially said 'no problem' then came back to me to say they didnt have one. Secondly, the room did not have a phone from which I could make any type of outside call. The making of a call required a walk to Reception, where if someone was there, they would make the call for you. The bed was too hard, and the food barely passable. The location was a bit further from local facilities than I was led to believe on the website. Overall I considered this hotel very poor value for money. I doesnt bear comparison with similiar accomodation in Bali. Although South Colva beach is miraculously clean, and certainly the best place I have seen on two trips to India.

Pure Awesomeness....Stayed for 5dayss .The stay was really nice and so were the staff. Entering the room, it was clean and quiet (couldn't hear a noise). The bathroom is also spacious and very clean. The pool was clean and towels were provided. They have a private beach. The only negetive point was the conveyence. Thanks to NELSON and SANTHOSH who helped me out a lot. Wil surely get back if i get another chance.They know how to really make you feel at home, and if you need anything it is like asking a family member. Congratulations from the heart, you were fantastic. Keep it up!

Location on quiet end of beach and not far from main road but requires walking down an unlight road for some of the way, taxi's outside hotel costly for the short journey to main street and surrounding areas. Good and easy access to beach. Hotel setup very good for large famiy groups to share house but a little strange for separate parties sharing the same living areas. On the whole a good hotel and good value for money. Sadly some hotel staff were very off hand and unfriendly during our stay.

After spending time in Delhi and Jaipur, we were looking forward to spending some time relaxing in Goa. We chose Beleza by the Beach for a number of reasons, including previous reviews, proximity to a beach and overall cost. We'd arranged for airport transfers, but on arrival, the taxi driver was nowhere to be seen. He eventually arrived about 30 minutes late complaining about how busy he was. We then set off on one of the scariest drives we have ever experienced, with the driver speeding along small country lanes and waiting until a corner before deciding to overtake. By the time we arrived at the hotel, we were a little annoyed, but after being welcolmed with two coconuts and pleasant staff, we were a little happier. After being shown to our room, we were very pleased with the standard. Nice and clean, a good size, 3 fitted wardrobes, large bathroom with walk-in shower, extensive mini-bar etc. The only problem we had was a broken fridge, but this was replaced very quickly by the hotel. After a quick rest, we decided to have a look around and were pleased to find that we were right next to the pool and restaurant, both very impressive. The pool had a good number of loungers around it and towels were provided. There was also a spa, with treatments provided at extremely reasonable prices.My partner and I organised a couples massage for next to nothing. We decided to eat in the restaurant on the first night and we were very impressed with the standard. A buffet was laid on, but we decided to order from the menu, which like everything else was very reasonable. The food was of a good quality and the staff were very attentive, without being bothersome. The next day we decided to try and find the beach. After asking at the reception, we were pointed in the right direction and were pleased to discover that we were literally two minutes away from it. Access to the beach was via a guarded gate and prior to stepping onto the beach, we found that the hotel also had another

There was some confusion about my online reservations (through hotels.com) when I first arrived at the resort. But it was sorted out within 20 minutes. The room we got was a part of a 2-level villa with a dining space, a living space and a kitchen and 3 rooms - one downstairs and 2 upstairs. The room we were given was downstairs with a King bed( as per our reservation) and was in excellent condition. The room had ample storage space, clean bedding and well stocked wash-room. The reservation included a buffet breakfast which was totally amazing. The chef made us fresh omelettes while we waited. There was tea, coffee, juice, fresh fruits, cereal and lots of other choices too! The kitchen/bar/dining area was located next to the pool area. The pool was very clean and well kept. There were beach chairs around it. The washrooms next door were well stocked with towels and such. There were also 2 on-site masseuse available for massages. I personally couldn't get a chance to take advantage. (Maybe on my next visit). Keep in mind that this hotel is located in South Goa and if you are interested in partying more than relaxing I would suggest living in North Goa. We cabbed one day to North Goa to check out the party scene and the cab ride costed us Rs 2500 ONE WAY. The Colva beach that Beleza is located on is very beautiful and serene. I wish i got more time on the beach. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and enjoy some time with loved ones.

Stayed for 3 nights. Staff was courteous and made every possible help to make our little one comfortable. The unit we stayed contained 3 rooms (most probably same for other units too) and had large sitting, kitchen and dining area in ground floor and large sitting area in first floor. The only disadvantage is it is off the Colva beach and conveyance is problem as tourist taxis are expensive. If you are going by your own vehicle, definitely a nice play to stay.

There isn't much to the town of colva. This resort was a haven when everything else around it is a dump.

Stayed for almost three weeks just up to the monsoon starting . very good room with access to kitchen and communal lounge area. Good restaurants in the area but once again i recommend hiring a scooter to avoid excessive taxi charges and flexibility to go come and go as you please. excellent large pool would def return and indeed hope to do so next year

Nice, clean rooms. Good service. Great beach..almost feels like a private beach. Some things they can add...beach chairs and umbrellas and a better breakfast buffet spread

We liked the position of the hotel and its surroundings. It was very peaceful and far from the atmospheric pollution and the bad reports sometimes associated with Goa. The only problem we ahd was the temperature, we did not anticipate it to be so hot, 39 deg cent.!!!

We stayed at the Beleza for 4 nights, and were very happy with our stay. Cab from the airport was 550 rupees. Check in was flawless. Room was clean and spacious. Pool was clean and well maintained. Towels always present. Breakfast buffet was a good mix of western and Indian food. The beach is only about a 1 minute walk away and is very clean and safe. The entrance to the beach has a security guard and the entire path is well lit. The only downside to the hotel is that the restaurant food wasn't the best, and it was overpriced. That being said, the restaurant next door (Mickey's) had EXCELLENT tandoori dishes and fresh seafood. Prices there were reasonable. We ate there 3 nights. All in all, will likely return to Beleza when we are back in Goa.

Beautiful and big Hotel with its own access to the Beach. Quite new, that's why everything is clean and in good condition. The rooms are big and you can also use shared loggia and kitchen. The stuff is very lasy, so you should repeat at least twice to be sure, they won't forget to bring you what you need. From all Hotels we saw on the South, this is the best Hotel in it's category.

Wir waren mit dem Hotel sehr zufrieden, wer ein ruhiges Hotel sucht, ist hier richtig. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich und respektvoll zurückhaltend. super angenehm. Man ist sehr schnell am Strand, leider fehlen hier die Hotel eigenen Liegen, aber dafür gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe sehr gute Strandbuden. hier kann man kostenlos die Liegen benutzen lediglich etwas verzehren sollte man dann dort. Ich kann es nur empfehlen, sehr lecker. Wir haben dort sehr schöne Tage erlebt, jederzeit gerne wieder.

Bra för par och familjer, kanske ingenting för ett kompisgäng som vill ha party.

Bon hôtel bien situé. (5 min. à pied d'une plage magnifique, loin du flux touristique). Très jolie terrasse aménagée à l'entrée/sortie de la plage. (accès privé). Personnel de l'hotel accueillant, disponible. Le responsable de l'hôtel est très orienté service. Chambre spacieuse, agréable. Jolies petites attentions de la part du personnel lorsqu'ils refont votre chambre. (surprise...:-) Restaurant de l'hôtel: Carte très variée. Coup de coeur pour leur Butter Chicken et garlic naan. Idéal pour famille ou personnes cherchant la tranquilité.

This hotel is about 3years old, so it is very roomy and in good shape. Rooms are great if u traveling with kids and staff keeps it very clean and no bugs flying around the rooms. Only problem is that hotels.com tells u u get room with balcony and certain view. that is not possible, cause there is only 10 rooms with balcony... but we did get the balcony room after one day of being there. Breakfast is quite good compared to many hotels in India but we preferred to eat in near by restaurant (only 10min walk from hotel) called Mickeys, where food was amazing and half the prize than in hotel. Nice long, clean and calm beach is really close to hotel, and hotel provides u the towels when u enter the beach. Hotel has nice pool too, but the water is not clean enough. Me and my son got really bad ear infection from that water and my man got really horrid fever that took long time for him to heel after accidently swallowing the water. But after all we do wanna go back there one day again. It is a dream for people who wanna have peace and calm beach vacation, not too many people at the beach (almost private beach : ) ) and people speak good English everywhere..

Het is een geweldig Hotel, vlakbij/tegen het strand aan waar ook vanalles nog bij het strand te doen is je kan je strandlaken mee naar het strand nemen en het aan de poort weer inleveren. er staat 24 uur iemand bij de poort en het is er volkomen veilig. Alleen jammer dat je met een taxi naar de winkels moet, net te ver om te lopen.Maar het hotel geweldig!! Een aanrader!! in GOA.

Nach 2, 5 Wochen Rucksackreise auf Guesthouse-niveau durch Goa haben wir 2 Nächte Verwöhnaroma im Beleza gebucht. Tolle gepflegte Zimmer, schöner Pool, Frühstücksbuffet gut, Lage strandnah, ca. 1 km vom Ort weg (am Strand oder über Straße gut zu erreichen) und nur 30 Minuten Taxifahrt vom Flughafen. Also insgesamt schön ruhig. Preis-/ Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr gut. Witzige Art der Zimmeranordnung: Wohnungscharakterähnlich und sehr geräumig.

En helt underbar liten lugn pärla vid den 3 mil långa sandstranden Colva beach. Alldeles för sig självt utan någon störande trafik, vackar palnteringar. Stora fina rum, där vi hdae avskild terass invid intilliggande risfält. Fin stor pool, egen av vakt skyddad direkt gång till huvudsranden, trevligt "beach schack" där för drinkar i solnedgången! Underbar restauarant med mycke god o varierad mat både till middag (m mkt gynnsamma priser) och frukost, inkl av kock på beställning nylagade omeletter. Vi vill återvända hit!

nice hotel in quiet place, not too many touris there, if you like wild /nature beach is good place to stay. if you are looking for place with sunbeds, umbrella on beach it is not place for you.in india they are diffrent standards. the hotel reasturant is 2/3 more expensive than in town. (you can walk there by the beach around 1 km) wi-fi working only on reception. we are white, and many hindu people were doing us photo it was anoying. (when we were swiming in the swiming pool) it was anoying because they didn't have our permision and didn't ask. we are the only white people on the beach. (end of sptember) we were suprised that people want to take our photos. hotel very nice, and i recommend if you like peacful, big wild space.

Hotel spełnił nasze oczekiwania, standard wysoki, zgodny z opisem w internecie, pokój duży, wygodny, czysty, łazienka również, restauracja średnia, basen bardzo ładny, czysty, eleganckie, drewniane leżaki, materace i ręczniki, jednak plaża nie do przyjęcia, zupełnie niezagospodarowana. Brak infrastruktury czyli sam piasek, brak leżaków, parasoli, baru. Sąsiednie plaże (15 min. drogi plażą) z kilkoma parasolami i leżakami i barami na bardzo niskim poziomie. Z tego względu zdecydowanie nie plecamy tego miejsca.

We were rather dissapointed with the place and left it after 2 days to go to another hotel (had booked 6 nights originally). Compared to price level at other hotels in this area you don't get much value for money. However, the "room" is a big villa, so if you travel more couples or families together, it could be a good choice. It's a small place with only one restaurant, and to go places you would need to take a taxi - no shopping possibilities in short walking distance. If you want luxury, high service level, more choices as to restaurants pool and sport facilities, this is NOT the place. For a quiet, relaxeing holiday, however, it could be ok.

petit hotel correspondant à notre attente après circuit intensif au karnataka bon rapport qualité prix moyen haut de gamme très calme, environnement propre, grande chambre et belle salle de bain moderne; piscine très claire mais hotel assez isolé ( 2Kms du village de Colva sans grand intéret sauf shopping touristique) convient à personne recherchant calme car pas d'activité ni d'animation sur place. plage avec accès direct par allée privée belle et ombragée. sur la plage manque d'aménagement pas de parasol ni matelas et chaise longue un espace aménagé sur la plage en face de l'hotel aurait été un plus, plus confortable et très apprécié. petit restaurant indien ( hors de l'hotel) bon très sympa à 5 mn à pied donnant sur la plage avec vue mer
