Great stay for boardwalk shopping. Clean and friendly staff. Only complaint was some hallway noise.

Great Stay!

The staff was very polite,accommodating, and patient. The room was very clean, the linens were crisp and fresh, the towels were absorbent and fluffy. Other reviews mentioned the train noise, but we were not disturbed by any noise. Our lack of direction-following skills did cause a few problems locating the turn in to the hotel, but phone calls to the on duty staff helped; they talked us through finding the way . I wish there were a more clear sign to the turn off point! We totally enjoyed the convenient shopping and dining the evening we arrived.

We were very pleased with our stay. The staff here are just the best. They go out of their way to be helpful. The hotel itself is also wonderful. We had no idea it was next to all of the stores and restaurants so that was our unexpected fun. We are planning future trips and will always stay here.

Overall fantastic stay. Excellent room newly built, and the best location possible. My only curiosity is after i paid for the room on hotels.com marriott still hit me with a $20 mystery charge. I will probably dispute it, but the fact that it happened at all is not acceptable

Very nice hotel, like the modern feel. Staff was very accommodating and very pleasant. Enjoyed our stay!!

Dollies for luggage hold about one suitcase; Multiple trips needed. One miniscule bottle of shampoo. Doors in hotel are extremely noisy upon closing; obviously an engineering miscalculation. Left a card related to how our stay was, and have not heard from company at all...obviously they dont care if you did not enjoy your stay...

The hotels quality was good, staff was helpful. I forgot my toothbrush and they gave me a toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash! The problem I had with the hotel was the location of the room. When we checked in, she asked if we minded a first floor room. I asked her to keep us away from the main lobby so we could have a quiet room. So, she placed us at the very end of the hall next to the exit door, which SLAMS every single time someone comes in. I would think if someone asked for a quiet location, they wouldn't be given that room! Also, our A/C just quit working about 12 AM. I finally was able to get just the fan to start, but after about an hour it quit. The few times it did run, it was loud and obnoxious. When I complained about it the next day they said they were having trouble with that unit. The hotel was no where near overbooked, why did they place us in a room next to an exit door with an A/C system that wasn't working? Of course, they appologized, but that was about it. The weightroom was nice with several machines and dumbells, hotel was clean, rooms were clean and comfortable. Shower was HOT and had great pressure. The location is great being a part of the Shreveport Boardwalk with all the shopping and fun there. . Overall, this is a nice hotel in a great location for a weekend getaway. I MAY try them again if the need arrises, but I will request a room off of the 1st floor and if the A/C acts funny, another room.

we needed a hotel that was close to the Horseshoe casino and it was. We were within walking distance and also right next to the Boardwalk (breakfast at IHOP!!). The room was spacious and comfortable as was the bed. Nice place. We will definately stay there again!

Great place, next to open shopping mall, good food around the area....clean, and friendly. But DO NOT eat at the bistro food place in the hotel - absolutely horrible and expensive.....I complained and mgmt just shrugged it off.

Nice hotel. we had bad odor in our room. Should have asked for a different room,but did not, my fault. Smelled as if someone smoking in room and then tried to cover it up with cologne! Railroad track right beside hotel. Train after train after train ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!

Very nice hotel close to shopping and restaurants.

The train by the windows were disturbing at night.

Had a great stay!

Room had a musty odor and the TV cable box was blocked making channel changing difficult.

Me and my husband enjoyed our stay . It was the best hotel we ever stayed in. Will always use this hotel . Fantastic room nicest staff. Love that it was on the Boardwalk.

It was great....

Loved the room, the lobby, the food, the staff, the location (walk right in to mall from front door!) ... all wonderful! Two things stopped me from giving it all 5's : 1) Pool closed for repairs :( .. I know they couldn't help that and 2) I could never get the remote and TV to respond correctly and no directions supplied. If they got their TV system working better it would help.

This was our third stay at this location once again we where pleased.

hotel was very clean.We enjoyed the Starbucks and breakfast bar inside the hotel,really good food at a reasonable rate.

When I initially started planing the trip there were a few must-haves on my list. Good variety of food, shopping, and entertainment all within walking distance! I got it all! With the Courtyard Marriott, I recieved five star service, location, and view at a reasonable price! Thank you for making my trip unforgettable!

Great Service from a very friendly staff. I felt very safe with the presence of security. One thing I would suggest if to have bath mats in the shower ( the very first night I fell in the bath due to the tub floor being very slippery, we rinsed the tub really well and the next evening the tub still was very slippery getting into the shower, luckily I only have a few bruises on my knee and on my arm.

I loved my stay and so did my fiancé we are looking into have our family stay there for the weekend of our wedding.

We had a great stay at this clean, modern hotel right on the boardwalk. the only 2 drawbacks were the high price and lack of a safe in the rooms. However i would definitely stay there again.

Located right on the boardwalk. Can't ask for better location.

My wife and I stayed at the Courtyard next to the Louisiana Boardwalk for a one night getaway from the kids. We loved the location, because we could shop a bit, swim at the hotel, pick from any number of the Boardwalk's great restaurants, and see a movie without ever moving the car. The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful, and the hotel is in very good shape. Great feel, great design. We'll probably never want to stay anywhere in Shreveport/Bossier again.

Very disappointed with our stay. Out of towels at the tiny pool area. Air conditioner in room was so loud it woke us up every time it came on. Sunday breakfast ended before 10:30.

We only stayed one night but it was a perfect location. Rooms were clean and staff friendly. We plan on staying the next time we are in the area.

Great joice for hotel. Everyone was welcoming, location could not have been better, room was excellent, and easy park close to entrance to hotel and boardwalk.
