Eastwest Hotel - جنيف

We stayed one night in April at the East West hotel and it was a great experience. The quality of the room, bed and bath were five star. The service was also as expected. The only negitive is the hotel is on a fringe area , one block away from a red light district that my wife and I stumbled upon while out for a walk. It was also very noisey at night on the front side of the hotel due to the activity on a Friday night. I would stay again but not with a family.

Lovely location, and perfect staff. Nespresso machine in room was great for a caffeine addict like myself.

The Eastwest lived up to all the positive reviews I'd read of it. It is a beautifully designed, built and furnished space. My room was spacious with marvelous amenities including one of the most comfortable beds I've ever experienced, a rocking rain-shower and a very cool (and complimentary) pod coffee machine. In addition to being so comfortable, the room was simply well-BUILT- -doors and locks solid, hardwood floors and cool light-switches. The restaurant, while pricey like everything else in Geneva, is first class (the minestrone with shrimp ravioli was truly a religious experience). The only downside of Eastwest is it's location smack in the middle of Geneva's small-but-thriving red light district. This location HELPS in that it is also close to the train station (10 minutes walk) but HURTS in that the approach to the hotel FROM the station is a bit dicey and not-at-all family friendly. But once inside, a guest feels well-cared for in a lovely and comfortable oasis.

The hotel location near the train station, close to United Nations Palais and LAke Geneva were just right. The staff was helpful, professional, courteous and friendly. The room service was prompt and affordable. The dinner meals were delicious. This was an excellent choice for a mature, single woman businesswoman. I recommend East Weat Hotel.

Love this hotel. 5 star service from the front desk to the bar staff, rooms well appointed and comfortable, good decor and complimentary water, tea, coffee, and cookies in your room. The price compared to other Geneva hotels is why it's a great value, it isn't cheap feeling in any way! Also close to everything, train station, great restaurants, and a short walk to the 'old town' area with lots of shopping. The red light district is nearby but we just stayed off Berne and Sismond and felt perfectly safe at all hours. Highly recommend, one of the best hotels I've stayed at n Europe!!

Won't ever return to Geneva. Situated on Lake Geneva and on the Rhone River this city lacked the charm we expected. The old city is small and does not look very old by comparison with many other european cities. The entire city is VERY expensive and so was Hotel East West (though competitively priced in comparison with some even more expensive hotels).

The hotel is small, but conveniently located, and the room was not large but it was more than sufficient and very comfortable. The service was very good, the dining facilities and the food were both excellent. The only possible complaint was that the bathroom was too modern (at least for an old guy) and I thought poorly designed

This is one fabulous hotel. In all our travels, my husband rarely comments repeatedly on the room. This time, he couldn't get over how wonderfully our room was designed. Yes, it was elegant and spacious. But this fabulous hotel goes above and beyond. Gorgeous colors. Elegant furnishings. Incredible attention to design (we had more than enough room for all our toiletries!!!!). Although we were on the 2nd floor, the room was as quiet as can be. And the bed...it was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I also would like to mention that Sophie at the front desk was wonderfully helpful, always providing ample directions, maps, and anything else we needed. The only negative is the hotels location. While it is walking distance to the train station, it is not in the best neighborhood. I expect in the years to come that it will be a hotbed of arty boutiques, but right now it's a little questionable. I read from other reviews that it's in the red light district. Yes, a street that runs perpendicular to the hotel is probable best avoided. However, everything else about the hotel is so incredible that it would be my first choice again if I return to Geneva.

I had a wonderful stay in the hotel and there is a coffee machine for free in the room and the location is in the middle between the train station and and lake also there is a bus station where you can take a city tour very near to the hotel , a supermarket just in front of the hotel the only bad things is * the internet was very bad *they took a city tax from me while the website says every thing is included * the air condition was very bad

Wonderful stay at Eastwest Hotel. Great staff, lovely room, wonderful service. Great facilities. A little gem of a hotel just 5mins walk to the Jet D'eau / Lac Leman and 10-15 stoll to the Vielle Ville. Red light district nearby but not an issue.

This is an excellent hotel in Geneva. The comfort, condition and cleaniness.... in all aspects as well as the staff. Though the location is beside the red light district, if you walk the other way, you will not know it is. If I go to Geneva again, I will definitely stay here!

EastWest Hotel was thoroughly enjoyable. The decor is modern - which I like. The use of space was very efficient, and at the same time aesthetically pleasing. The service was great - while standing at check-in they offered me a lemonade. When checking out they offered my bottled water for the road. The wifi worked very well, and was included in the room price. There is a small but charming patio at the back where I had a working dinner one evening, getting caught up on e-mail while I had a nice bottle of wine and some appetizers. Would love to stay here again.

We loved this hotel. Very comfortable, beautiful rooms, good location near the train and the lake though some of the nearby neighborhood is a bit funky. I woud suggest not having breakfast at the hotel. It was not included with the room and very expensive. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

In a worl where we never get much for our money, i am always pleasantly surprised when i stay at East West. Being in a very expensive city you still get a great room at a great price in an even great location! East West all the way!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Eastwest Hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with good English, the room was immaculate and the location very convenient. We particularly appreciated the extras like the Nespresso coffeemaker, the robes and slippers, the easy free wifi and even the bottles of water given to us as we left. Everything possible was done to make us comfortable, and I highly recommend this hotel.

This place is close to being a perfect place to stay. The rooms are very comfortable, and the staff is very helpful. As well, the location can't be beat, as it is in the centre of Geneva, close to major attractions and shops in that district, as well as the city's railway station. I highly recommend this place to all contemplating a visit to Geneva!

We were flying out of Geneva after a weeks vacation in Switzerland and spent 1 night at EastWest. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and very helpful. They made a great recommendation for Thai food for us for dinner. We had trouble getting our car out of the garage down the street at 5:30am in the morning because of our lack of French and the gentlemen at the front desk actually walked down to the garage and helped my husband get the car out. Amazing service - above and beyond! We were not parked in the hotel garage but another garage down further. We were traveling with our 5 year old and just blocks opposite the lake is the red light district so be aware of that if you are traveling there. The staff made sure to recommend dinner options in the other direction. I would recommend this hotel and their amazing staff.

This is a classy boutique hotel in a very good location for the tourist as well as the business person. However, the floors are not carpeted, they are a wood type laminate. Hence you can hear every single step that your neighbors take...at all times of the night. The air conditioning controls were unresponsive because it was February. This made for a very hot room. However, the room amenities were excellent, and the bed was very comfortable if too hot. BTW, bring your own creme rinse, their's is a joke.

The hotel is lovely, the room gorgeous and comfortable. The location is extremely convenient - what more could you ask for ?

Quel souvenir garder de cet hotel : Tres bon car il est bien situe, la literie est excellente, le petit dejeuner a tomber et le service tres agreable.

Veldig trivelig lite hotell, svært sentralt i Geneve. Hyggelig og profesjonell betjening, som slo til med gratis oppgradering ved innsjekk. Det viser seg imidlertid at hotellet ligger i et område som frekventeres at tildels lettkledde damer i trange skinnskjørt i sene nattetimer. Men men - det virker likevel trygt, og veies opp ved at hotellet ligger rett ved elven der broen leder over til sentrum og gamlebyen.

This is a top hotel that deserves a visit. Nice staff and nice hotel, the atmosphere is excelent. It´s close to most of the attractions in the city. Don't miss a stay at this hotel!

bon hotel situé à 20 mn à pieds de l'opéra (notre but du w-end). éviter les chambres bruyantes donnant sur le devant de la rue.

L'hotel est très bien, très confortable, sa petite taille donne un esprit "cosy", le restaurant est bon et le service excellent.

Sentral beliggenhet med kort vei til innsjøen og mange restauranter. Hotellet er holdt i en spennende og elegant "orientalsk" stil og har en deilig liten oase ute på baksiden hvor det passer godt å nyte et glass før man tar kveld. Rommet var romslig og innbydende med svært gode senger, kaffemaskinen laget deilig kaffe og badet var velutstyrt. Renholdet var upåklagelig og vi var godt fornøyd med oppholdet. Stort pluss at vi ved ankomst fikk utlevert kort som ga oss adgang til fri benyttelse av kollektiv transport, også på innsjøen.
