good

at 35$ a night i would recommend it but any amount over $50 stay somewhere else. the carpet was red about 20 years old and full of stains. dont walk around without your shoes on. a/c didnt work so switched rooms. the a/c made noise all the time but no cold air. didnt try the restaurant. good location.

I enjoyed there, thanks for every thing.

Average room. The hotel staff despite trying to be accomodating were not that helpful. Below average. SR

My husband and I were very pleased with Horizon Pyramids Hotel. We stumbled upon this diamond in the rough after 4 horrific days at the hostel Royal in Cairo (see trio advisor for that review & picture). When the taxi pulled up to the Horizon Pyramids Hotel we were very pleased with the outside appearance; once we entered the hotel we were greeted by the front doors man who directed us to the reception area. We booked online & requested early check in. We were then directed to an sitting area to wait for our room which they said would be ready in 15 mins while waiting for our room a gentleman came with two wine glasses of punch. Before I could finish my punch the bell man informed us our room was ready. The room was small however it was enough for my husband & I. Our room had an balcony with the pyramid view. We ordered room service; not only were they speedy it was also delicious. I found the bathroom quite relaxing after a day of exploring. The deep tub & hot water was very relaxing. My husband and I highly recommend The Horizon Pyramids Hotel in Giza Egypt.

We had a bad experience with the service of the hotel...the hotel staff would not respond to any orders despite several calls..the buffet was great but after the third day we realized that the menu remained the same through the week.The hotel is ill-maintained and lacks some of the benefits that a 4 star is supposed to have the most important being the absence of a tea pot!!

Great for a locally owned Egyptian hotel. Midway between the pyramids and the metro to downtown, so a great location

location is convinient if u want to visit the pyramids, but the outside and inside of the hotel is not very clean and they try to rip you off immediately but offering u the hotel taxi services which are absurdly over priced. They also try to get u to eat at their restaurant--WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING as well as over priced. Overall the room was acceptable to sleep in but had alot of road noise and wifi issues as well.

Dinner buffet inadequate. Their taxi serive guys - Golden ??- Khalid was excellent. Value for money.

I was expecting a better quality of a hotel. It is in the middle of chaos. The room that I booked as well as the halls smelled like smoke. The room was too small so I had to book the suite which was way overpriced for what was offered. The AC did not work well in the room. The breakfast was awful and after two days I refused to eat it because it made me sick to my stomach. The pool was so tiny and not what was advertised. In addition to this there were so many problems with the internet not working. I do not recommend this place at all. There are much better places so worth your money. Will not go there again.

Just back from holiday and I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The service was poor, a lot of noise coming into the room as the windows are in bad condition and the hotel is facing a very busy road( day and night). Location is not good either, too far from Cairo, I was caught in traffic 3-4 hours every day, waste of time and money. It is not a 4 stars hotel, overall bad experience.

My husband and I were very pleased with this hotel. We did not experience anything negative like previous reviewers. Our room was clean and comfortable. The shower had more than enough hot water and wifi worked perfectly. We had a nice view of the pyramids from our balcony on the 6th floor. And the breakfast buffet was great. There was such a variety of food I can't believe anyone would not be pleased--scrambled and hard boiled eggs, potatoes, Kifta, foul, yogurt (plain and with fruit), a variety of meats and cheeses, bread, pastries, cold cereal, tea, coffee, juice...did I forget anything? We will definitely stay here again.

We were not satisfied with our stay in this hotel. The service was poor, the room was never clean, there was no Wi-Fi as promissed. Would not recommend it to anyone. And it states that the hotel has 4 stars!!!! In the sky???

This hotel is nice and well equipped, with all of the conveniences i could have hoped for. To say it is 4-stars, I feel, is pushing it. However, it is at least 3.5-stars, and perfectly nice. My room was clean and my shower was hot, what more could I really hope for? The breakfast buffet is adequate - not the best I've ever had, but better than many I've had for this price. The house-keeping staff is good - didn't clean as spotless as other hotels, but adequate, again, for the price. The hotel staff is VERY friendly, and I was very happy here. One note - this hotel is on one of the busiest, noisiest streets in Cairo. It didn't bother me in the least. I've spent a lot of time in Cairo, and know that the city in general is noisy and crowded. However, if this sort of thing bothers you, stay somewhere else! It would really be unreasonable to stay anywhere on Pyramid Street, and then complain about "noise."

This hotel is affordable and situated on a busy street. It is good for a base for a day or two and has free wireless internet which is great. Rooms are clean and comfortable but the restaurant is a NIGHTMARE! Luckily, there are some restaurants nearby so you can avoid the restaurant all together. You can see the pyramids at a distance... or at least part of them from some rooms.

My hotel stay is a bit partial because I stayed at a partner hotel a few nights earlier and even though the other hotel's rate was about five U.S. dollars more, it was head and shoulders above this one. I would not recommend this one only because I would recommend the other hotel, which is run by same management.

Hotel is clean but information about price for visit another price not clear. many taxi driver charged the tourist in high price, very baddd

good price but my room is on the street side so quite a lot traffic noises is coming in

xcellent staff makes it easy to work with, even if there r issues.

My stay at this hotel could only have been better if the streets weren't so loud at night. Rush hour lasts until around midnight and the hotel is just off one of the main streets in Giza, making it hard to sleep. Exhausting myself with sight seeing during the day helped a lot with that though. The hotel staff is very helpful and are willing to do anything to make your stay better, they even have a doctor on call (which I unfortunately had to make use of). The hotel taxi service had very fair prices and drivers that spoke English very well, making getting around Cairo/Giza and the surrounding areas very easy. If I ever return to Cairo/Giza I intend to stay at Horizon Pyramids again.

There's nothing particularly wrong with this hotel, but there's nothing particularly right with it either. Go there if you want a night near the pyramids, but you could get somewhere much nicer in central Cairo and take a cab to Giza very cheaply. It's only about half an hour away so no need to stay somewhere that's perhaps overpriced for what it is just because it's near the pyramids.

Die Standardzimmer sind sehr schön mit Balkon und Blick auf die Pyramiden. an einer sehr stark befahrenen Strasse. Gutes Brakfastbuffet, kann auch nach Lust etwas anderes bestellen. Freundliches Personal, jedoch fast ohne Englishkenntnisse so spricht man mit den Händen. Ich empfehle diese Hotel zu diesen niedrigen Preisen

i had just a small room with a small window. at the reception people are not well trained, often they don't know what to do nice breakfastbuffet

Hotel se trouve à 3 km des Pyramides en taxi collectif pour 1 LE on peut se rendre vers l'entréé. Hotel à une rue bruyante , mais derrier l'hotel il y a un quartier populair très sympa. L'hotel est très bien géré et le personnel est sympa. Un bon petit déjeuné buffet. Je recommande cet Hotel à 100% et et j'y retournerai

先日仕事で6泊しました。場所的には便利で値段もとてもお値打ちです。これで朝食付きなら文句はありません。ただ4つ星のホテルにしては部屋は汚ないしシャワーの水流は全くダメだし、お湯も満足に出ません。それ以外は問題ないかな....とにかく場所、値段重視な方にお勧めです。

やや高い部屋を選べば、ピラミッドが見える部屋の可能性大です。道路やレストランがかなり騒がしく、人によってはなかなか寝付けないかもしれません。朝食はかなりいいです。

値段のわりに朝食のビュッフェが充実しています。深夜までレストランからの演奏がうるさいことと、シャワーの温度が低かったのがちょっと不満でした。

j'ai passer une semaine agréable dans cet hôtel... le personnel est attentionner ..la nourriture bonne bonne note en général ...

llegamos pasada la medianoche teniamos media pension, despues de hacer el Check inn 1 am nos invitaron al restaurant cocinero y metre a disposicion (totalmente fuera del horario) predisposicion, atencion y muy buenas intalaciones totalmente recomendable, volveria sin niguna duda.

El problema es la deficiencia y responsabilidad profesional del Gerente del hotel. Me comunique con el Hotel Horizon y cancele telefónicamente, la reserva la que fue aceptada por la recepción del hotel y ratificada por ella al llegar al hotel.. Al hacerlo con Hoteles.com, ellos la han cencelado y al enviar al hotel Horizon el reporte, desautoriza el gerente al personal y no quieren cancelar la reserva a pesar de haberse, comprometido. La fecha de aviso ha sido oportuna. Lamentable ya que tiene buena presencia y buen personal que atiende. Los alrededores si son terribles, mucha basura, saliendo del hotel a la mano izquierda en especial. La cercania a las pirámides no es tal .

Habitaciones sucias (con cucarachas, agua que salía del grifo, de debajo del inodoro, ... "regalido dentro del inodoro al llegar a la habitacion)- desayuno con un cafe que tenía el mismo color que el te, servicio que deja mucho que desear por la tardanza y el trato a veces despectivo hacia los clientes..... He estado 4 veces en Egipto y JAMAS había vivido tal situación. NO RECOMIENDO ESTE HOTEL PARA NADA es más RECOMIENOD NO IR A ESTE HOTEL.
