Terrific location in Beverly Hills and the friendly receptionist are the only redeeming features of this quaint hotel. Everything else is old, dirty, noisy and worn out. Well the bedding was clean. But the price was right for the location. Sure could use a facelift...

It was my third time spending 4 night in Del Flores.Having made friend with some of the residents there,it was a pleasure to see them again and talk to them.Goog service as usual from cleaners to reception workers.Thank you very much guys!

I was not satisfied with this hotel because of the price I paid. I did not have a shower in my room. I had a toilet and a sink. The cable was service was unsatisfactory for being in such a large city the channels were in Spanish, Chinese, or Japanese. I am not prejudice but even the english channels were had to find. The surrounding area was nosy and I coundn't sleep. I noticed on my bill when I booked my reservation that I was charged $14 for an extra charge in case there were more than the number of people in the room. I only requested the room for myself.

The room was terrible, bathroom was shared. I had to upgrade the room to have a private bathroom. The room was stink, dirty and old. It was like a cheap motel off of the inetrstate freeway, maybe worse. You can get way better hotel in Weswood, holywood, or santa monica, by paying a few bucks extra.

Heed the other reviews. I was in town for a conference at UCLA, thought negative comments were by overly picky folks. But they were right! I fled before I stayed one night and booked a different hotel as fast as I could. Don't think I could have slept in the room with a funky odor, crunchy carpet, and windows with screens partially pulled off and without window shades. Horrid!

this hotel shouldn't even have stars nor ranked, an absolute disaster,dirty,stinky carpet,cock roaches all over the place,poor customer service,got charged 9$ a day for parking my car,rooms stinks like mold.....an ABSOLUTE DISASTER,i will never recomend it to no one with the right frame of mine,the place is so old and unmaintained it looked like it could be in the show ghost hunters....no further comments, if you wanna kill your self book in the place.

Great Service. Great and Safe Location. Can catch a bus to the beach area as well as downtown and Hollywood. If you are looking for a place just to sleep and shower, this is your place.

Great location - Rodeo Drive 3 minute walk away, city hall, library, 24 hour supermarket all within a stones throw, metro buses run along little Santa Monica blvd that will take you to downtown, century city, west Hollywood, Santa Monica etc. I recommend to pay extra for own bathroom. Staff very helpful and are onsite 24/7. Direct phone line in the lobby to the BH taxi cab. They come in 5 minutes. Overall if you want to save the $$ while being in the best location of L.A, then this is it.

Great service, amazing location, parking fees are cheap! The carpet in the room and the bed sheets didn't make me feel comfortable. For the price I'd go back and bring my own blankets and slippers. Surprisingly quiet.

Older, charming hotel, nothing overly fancy but decent. Had no issues during our stay here, and Rodeo Dr. was within walking distance.

This hotel is for someone intending to be in the center of the city for the best available price. If you chose one economy room, then there is no toylette/or bath in the room, an old carpet and a 20 years old TV, a old sofa and a sink... that's all you have. WiFi in the room is free, but sign is weak. It is for special people looking into bargain price. (Jose G, former-Beverly Hills inhabitant)

This hotel was booked last minute for a work colleague who stayed one night at the hotel and asked to be moved to another hotel...the first room he was shown to was in terrible repair and had no toilet, and the second, although it had a toilet was in equally bad condition. In addition, the advertised complimentary internet was non-existent. As the hotel was booked for 17 nights and my colleague only stayed for 1, a refund is being pursued...however the hotel manager is proving very difficult to get hold of, and the time difference between LA and the UK isn't helping. The only advantage of this hotel was the proximity to our offices, and its last minute availability which has now been explained given the state of the hotel. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying there.

No heating (it was 40 degrees that night) No facility to make hot water WIFi only covers part of the hotel, most rooms don't have WIFI. Rooms are shabby.

No friles hotel with great location and a price that ight scare u away since it is so cheap. We had a room without a bath. Luckly the shower was the next door. Bring a rope and flip flops for your trip to the shower. Basic room (yes the rooms are as tacky as the photos). I wonder what people would do to keep the lite out since there was only shears. No ac. Over all the room was comfortable and acceptable. But if u expext fancy, well appointed, or luxury u should look elsewhere.

The location of the hotel is very very prime with every thing within walking distance . Most museums and freeway access less than 2.5 miles away. The staff is most helpful and will do anything to meet your needs. Many people who could afford better stay there because of this I think . The owner needs to replace the carpets because steam cleaning is not enough and the spots in the hallways and rooms show this. I would definitely stay there again.

Hotel Del Flores is a rather old hotel with showers and bathrooms across the hall but they are 2 blocks off of Rodeo Dr. and are an affordable and interesting place to stay in Beverly Hills.

This is a barebones hotel with a shabby worn look. It is small without any frills. But the room was clean and you can't beat the location--right in heart of the Rodeo area of Beverly Hills; jogging path, excellent restaurant and shops--a block from Whole Foods. It was a find and a bargain especially for longer stays.

In an older building yet charming. Some signs of cutting corners but can't beat it for the price in la dee da Bev Hills.

The hotel is advertised as a "no frills" place. In reality it feels more like a hostel than a hotel, with a bohemian air floating around a collection of mismatched furniture and casualness. Underground parking is provided next-door, for a small additional charge. The hotel is located in the heart of Beverly Hills - three street over from the Rodeao Drive. In my opinion, Del Flores is a good value for money considering the rooms are decent and the beds are very clean and confortable. There is a Whole Foods store 4 minutes walking distance, on the same street, where one can buy fresh coffee in the morning and ready-made quick meals if you are more into sightseeing than restaurants-going. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I was provided immediately with a hair-dryer on a quick loan as soon as I asked about the availability of such an item. They also gave me directions and a brief orientation to the LA area. Some rooms have access to the shared showers on the hall-way, however, the hotel has a few rooms with their own shower, like we chose at the time of bookingh. As a specific remark - our room seemed at the beggining to be extremely hot - in spite of the air conditioning unit (which is outdated and noisy). We looked around for the source of heat which turned out ot be hot air coming into the room from a wall vent. Once the vent being blocked with a piece of furniture - everything was fine and we could do even without the AC unit. Bottom line - I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It felt a bit like home (of course, that depends on one's personal background) or maybe like university campus-time.

Poor management - there was no manager on site for the day I spent there and the day after when I tried to contact him/her. They took my money for 3 nights although I only ended up staying for 1 night because I was so disgusted with the hotel. When I tried to reach management to try to get a refund for the 2 nights I didn't stay there - the front desk kept telling me he wasn't there and I never got a call back for 2 days. Shady place, unclean and poor poor customer service!

It's all about the location. In the heart of Beverly hills. If it hadn't been for the location I never would have stayed here. The hotel and rooms SUCK. No toiletries, had to ask for toilet paper, spotty carpet, holes in the drapes, rough sheets, pancake pillows, sink in actual room. Some bathrooms are shared with other rooms. More of a hostel than an actual hotel. Motel 6 puts this place to shame and that's really saying something. Not to mention that they charge you extra fees per person. All in all it was just a step above sleeping on the street in Beverly Hills.

This hotel may be in a very prime location but it's definitely not worth the money! The hotel staff was very rude. Upon checking in, the person at reception DEMANDED my printed reservation confirmation because HER computer was down and refused check me in due to this problem. She finally called her supervisor who told her it was ok to check me in. The room was ok, but she entered the room first to close the curtain to try to hide the completely broken flyscreen. When I told her about this, she tried to blame me by saying "you did that?" The biggest roach that I had ever seen crawled out from the sink's drain! The some of the electrical outlets didn't work. All in all, a waste of money! Next time I'll pay $20 more to stay at a decent & clean hotel with better service!

Worst hotel service ever, rude lady working. I had spiders and mosquitos in my room. The wifi never seemed to work.

I did not have a good stay at this hotel. The hotel is located in a great part of town but the quality of the hotel is very meager!! I stayed two nights and wished I could get my money back! I could not wait to leave! My t.v. in my room did not work at all! The internet did not work in the rooms. It only worked if you sat in the lobby! The restroom that was located in the hallway did not work either. It was stopped up gross!! The bulding next door. you could here people talking through your window very loudly! I will say the staff was friendly but my room stay was very uncomforbale and unpleasant! Wouldnt stay again!

The location of this hotel doesn't get much better. It's in the heart of Beverly Hills, walking distance to coffee, Whole Foods, fine dining and people watching. The hotel itself is nothing special, it's a place to rest your head, use the free wifi, and shower. If you're staying in this area, you're not likely looking to spend time at the hotel, which means, for the low price, it's really the perfect place for someone who is only looking for a place to sleep. I will definitely be back.

Short walking distance to Rodeo drive and affordable cab rides to hollywood sightseeing. Some of the staff was very friendly but i had problems with the staff when checking in, the woman was very rude to me and kept repeating i had to wait till after 3 to check in. My room was clean but the hallway wasnt. Its the type of place where people stay for extended stays or when trying to save money

The hotel is very old. Some of the rooms do not have restrooms so you have to take showers and use the restroom in a shared bathroom/restroom on the floor.

The people and the staff were very, very friendly. The location is awesome, nestled in Beverly Hills near all the shopping and restaurants and very convenient to West Hollywood. However, the hotel needs major renovation and updating. The sheets and comforters were old. The iron and iron board were very, very old as well. The ice maker is actually from the refrigerator in the kitchen they had. The major problem that i had with my room is that the drainage in the bathtub was not good at all. It drain was clogged and it took a long time for the excess water to drain. The hotel was very old and would be amazing with a renovation. It felt as if you were staying in a college dorm. There was no AC in my room, so luckily the temperature was nice. There is a Whole Foods market, deli, and bakery down the street for convenience. The bottom line is this: If I had an extra $20 to spend, I would stay somewhere else. But if I need a place to stay and I am on a strict budget, I would stay here again.

Decently priced, fantastic location, though kind of run-down inside. the bed was creaky, the room was pretty small, the neighboring restaurant's kitchen was a bit noisy with dishes, but overall worthwhile.

This was a different kind of stay for us. A little leery when we heard the bathroom was across the hall. Turns out the place is charming, clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. With the horrendous prices these days and all you want is a bed and four walls in a clean place, Hotel Del Flores fits the bill.

When I first came to this hotel & the lady showed me my room, did she "notice" that the Tv in my room didn't work.. so she asked ME if I could help her. My answer was "sure" of kindness, but after a while of trying didn't it still not work SO I was without Tv the first eve/night. In my opinion is this NOT ok, everything should be ready before you check in! Then did I have to ask for more plastic cups & I barely didn't got any cuz the lady did *only have 2 left* hahaha this is ridiculous and something roomservide should refill, I think! BUT something positive was the great location! and their resturant is very nice and cosy! Beverly Hills is a lovely place to live in, very safe & with nice people around.

Upon entering our room the first thing one noticed was a foul odor wafting up from the well worn and dirty carpet. The bed linens were unwashed, the bathroom disgusting and mold was present in the shower. The walls are paper thin so expect to hear every stir from the adjacent rooms. I cannot say anything positive about this property. Even the cheap price ended up being a false economy since they tacked on an additional $16 per night for parking and an extra person charge. I would reccomend sleeping in your car if Hotel de Flores is your only other option. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Had reccomendations on sites and food. Nice and inexpensive and clean.

If you are looking for a great location and a no frills budget place, you can't beat Hotel del Flores. It could use some updating, but with rates like these, nice staff and comfortable, cozy accomms...you can't beat it.

we spent 10 days in hotel and i have to say i am really amazed by the friendly staff and the atmosphere at all.The hotel is unique-not luxury but comfortable enough.It is very quite and has great location.The internet connection was not that good but everybody inthe hotel from guests to staff were wonderful!It is worth the price i paid for the room and such a price you will not find anywhere in Beverly hills!Ideal for people with a tight budget.The front entrance need refreshing(painting)

We (two) stayed only 2 days and had the shared-bath version - everything clean and ok. But the main attraction was definitely the location! Inmidst of the rich and the famous we made the experience seeing the extravagand and squanderous lifestyle of Beverly Hills and its society. The nearby restaurants and bars were naturally not very cheap (main dish around 15 and above), but we found one which was definitely worth it: The LA Foodshow with its burgers and salad! The walk to the Hollywood Blvd took us approx one hour with a nice walk down Santa Monica Blvd.

Think student hostel. No elevator. Staff had to bring cable box to connect tv. No air conditioning. Ceiing fans instead. Not all windows have screens. Shared bathrooms have no paper towels or soap. Have to remind staff to restock toilet paper. Shared shower has no hooks for towel or clothes. Wifi is hit or miss. Can't beat the price for Beverly Hills if you don't mind "roughing it." Some paint, a few pictures on the walls, a redone lobby for better ambiance, and some minor amenities such as hooks on the shower door for clothes and towel might make this a cheap two-star.

My dad and I had to make a trip to Beverly Hills and the location was amazing! Four blocks from Rodeo drive! The staff was very friendly and the parking across the street was safe. The motel room itself was not great. However, I'm a huge germ freak, so I didn't love it for that reason, but my dad wasn't bothered by the room at all. In fact, he kept refering to the motel as, "charming." If you don't plan on being in the room much at all and want a great, safe place to stay, I recommend it. My dad already plans on taking my mom back, just for the location.
