Van Der Valk Hotel 's-Hertogenbosch - فوجت

Though the room was nice, the room service was poor. I have had much better room service in other vd Valk hotels (my fav is the one in akersloot and houtem). On top of small portions the meat was dry and they charged 10 euro room service fee .... Their argument was that it takes a lot of effort .... Finally the reason for an overall very poor score is the fact that the maid just walked I to my room without knocking ....

We specifically wanted to stay in Vught and so chose this hotel over those in Den Bosch. Being at the northern edge of Vught it is still convenient for Den Bosch. That said being in between the two it lacks the convenience of a town centre hotel. You really need a car if you stay here. Hotel lobby, lounge and bar area is very charming with lots of wood panels and open fire. Outside there is a terrace bar. There is a restaurant but we did not use it. Our rate was not inclusive of breakfast so can't comment on that. It is a motel style access to rooms with separate blocks of rooms directly accessible from car park. Rooms have a balcony. Some have commented on security and that it is the possible for an outsider to access the balconies without a key but this did not seem possible. Only issue is that anyone with legitimate access to the balcony can walk up and down the whole balcony. You can still get to rooms internally if it is raining. There is free Internet access in rooms or public areas but only for 60 minutes per device although this can be used as 4 sessions of 15 minutes. After that you have to pay. Staff generally polite and helpful apart from one bar waitress who was abrupt and looked like she hated her job. She never smiled. Rooms acceptable but nothing great. Old small TV. No tea/coffee making facilities. But has a fridge (not a mini bar). The double bed was two beds pushed together but the hotel said this was in all rooms - unless you opted for a suite. Not the hotel's fault but the previous resident had ignored no smoking signs and so room had lingering smell of smoke. But cleared after a while or we got used to it. So overall would stay again but bring a travel kettle. Good VFM. You will pay 2 Euro per person per night on top of the publicised rate

A nice hotel for business. The staffs are friendly and all of them speaks English. The restaurant is very good. Breakfast is not included in the room cost. Internet access is not included either, but is available.

Nice hotel, thats close to Den Bosch and the arena were A State Of Trance is held.

The Hotel is ok compared to the price, but it's in the middle of nowhere. The service, on the other end, is really bad.

Hôtel très orienté business, mais assez impersonnel et peu chaleureux, même si la décoration est soignée. Grandes chambres très bien équipées avec WiFi. Prix relativement élevé, le petit déjeuner n'est pas inclus, et finalement on peut trouver mieux pour moins cher si on accepte une chambre plus petite et qu'on ne tient pas à pouvoir prendre un bain. Par contre on dispose des facilités d'ouverture 24/24 de la réception, d'un parking sur place, etc. Reste un choix avisé si le but du voyage est les affaires sans un budget trop serré et qu'on a besoin de cette grande flexibilité de services. Route fréquentée à proximité, mais bonne isolation sonore.

Ik wil even heel graag kwijt dat de ontvangst van de receptie op ons veel indruk achter liet. Je komt helaas tegenwoordig niet meer zoveel gastvrijheid tegen. Zo ontzetten vriendelijk en correct!! Een dikke pluim.

+ ruime, nette kamers - Relatief duur, personeel niet echt attent, donkere gangen, donkere kamers, kamers ver weg van ontbijt en receptie, betaald internet, sommige delen vallen uit elkaar (deurkrukken en lampen)
