You get what you pay for beds are hard but rooms are clean, breakfast is cereal and toast. If your staying one night it's fine.

very basic. hard bed, little swamp cooler for a/c, no pool and not close to any resturants. you get what you pay for here.

Clean and nice hotel

the room was clean, the front desk made numerous calls for us to retrieve our luggage, and it's across the street from the sea. The R1 bus route ends just down the street, which takes you to the hotel zone and downtown cheaply. It is not a dangerous neighborhood, just far from the rest of Cancun tourist area.

Great value for the money. Not a luxury hotel, this is for the smart traveler that won’t be wasting vacation time lounging around the hotel. Room was adequately sized, very clean, bathrooms are modern and hot water works good enough. Typical Mexican hotel bed is harder than the bouncy mattresses Americans are used to but I like them just fine. WIFI worked in the room fine. No elevator so if you can’t walk up a flight of stairs with your luggage be advised. Neighborhood is perfectly fine and parking is safe. Quick access to a convince store for snacks and beverages. Rooms do not face the street so there is no street noise. No loud disco in the area so it will be quiet while you sleep. AC works fine. Microbus and taxis nearby. I didn’t try the continental breakfast because it looked boring but the coffee was good. Long story short, you will get a good night’s sleep here and still have money left in your budget to have fun in Cancun.

A great location if you want to make a day trip to Isla Mujeres (ferry terminal is opposite to the hotel). Cancun downtown is also a couple of kms away. As for the hotel, its a great value for the money you pay. The room was clean and the service was good.

My room was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite, helpful, and let me check in early. The hotel is quiet and within a short bus ride to the Hotel Zone and downtown. It's also across the street from an OXXO market, home of cheap snacks and beer. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, though not exactly picturesque. Amazing for the price. Comparable to a clean Best Western in the U.S.

We were staying on Isla Mujeres and needed to pick up a friend at the airport with a flight that came in at midnight. Since the last ferry leaves at 11:30pm we could not get back to Isla that night and needed a place to stay for one night. The hotel was a short walk from the Ultramar ferry and across the street from the other ferry. The room was basic, but fine for a short stay.The beds were pretty hard, but typical for some Mexican hotels. We got a free breakfast with our stay, coffee/juice, cereal, toast. If you are going to Isla Mujeres but have a late flight so you can't make the last ferry, it is the perfect place.There is a small convenience store across the street. Would stay there again.

The location of this hotel is a bit out of the way from most places. But if you plan on spending time at Islas Mujeres and don't want to stay on the island, then this is a good choice. The price is good and it is literally right across the street from the ferry. It's a much cheaper ferry ride to Islas from this location. The port in the Zona Hotelera is much more expensive. It's also right across the street from a 24hr Oxxo, which was convenient. The people are friendly and do speak English. They were very helpful. If you stay here, check out the view from the roof. It was beautiful! There is a nice patio on the second floor too. The rooms have A/C and the beds aren't terrible. The rooms were clean.

The attendants were very nice and once I found the hotel it was just what I needed. All were very helpful. The surrounding area not the greatest maybe because of the heaviest downpour I had ever seen.. The complaint same as others the bed was nearly as hard as the ground I slept on while in the service.

The description of this hotel is misleading - "Dining options at this Cancun hotel include a restaurant and a bar/lounge". There are no such options on the premises but across the road along from the ferry terminal. The only eating option in this hotel was breakfast of coffee, toast, cereal and orange juice. I suggest that you exclude this description ASAP as prospective guests may base their choice as I did because of these non-existent facilities !!! However the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was in a very clean condition as well as being very reasonably priced.

This hotel is a fairley new build so is in good condition. Rooms were clean and spacious with differnt levels of size & charges. I never took breakfast, just nipped over to Oxxo store and had a large Cappuccino with a muffin. Located right in front of ferry terminal to Isla Mujeres which is a beautiful island to visit. Buses @ 8.5 pesos & minivan transporters @ 6 pesos were plentiful until 9pm after that taxi required. Taxi from downtown was around 30 pesos, but 200-250 pesos to to the all inclusive Hotel strip but why go there! Food and drink is cheap in downtown area, Ave Yaxchillan was my favourite place to eat and drink La Taberna my fav 2 for 1 bar where food is also good. Do not be put off by trucks going round with police standing with machine guns in the back ready for action, I never came across any problems in the 2 weeks I was there and I wandered around downtown at night. Mini Bus with A/C to Puerto del Carmen(very nice) is only 30 pesos for the hour long trip, then for 40 pesos you can take another bus to Tullum ruins(another hour away) from Playa del Carmen. It is only 48 pesos entry to the ruins so for a total of 120 pesos you see the ruins do not use tour operators. You could do the same for Chichen Itza probably but I took the 550 pesos tour operated one with friends. Some of the trips are very expensive(100$) Xplore,Xcaret etc not sure they are worth it.

It would have been a better experience if they would not clean the other rooms at all times of the early hours of the morning. Please put some kind of none friction item on the legs of the chairs in the rooms, so when they are moved, it does not sound like someone is scratching a chalkboard. Talk to surrounding neighbors about there dogs barking at all hours. Make beds less hard

very very cheap hotel. but very nice and clean. staff is very friendly.. room was very clean. i was very shocked because of the price. i enjoyed staying here because its not as noisy and busy as hotel zone.. it was nice partying and hanging out at hotel zone, and coming back to hotel del sol. my room overlooked the ocean. i will definitely stay here again.

This hotel really surprised me! Very good value for the money. It was absolutely quiet in the night. The sea is just across the street. A restaurant too, but it closes early. The staff was as friendly and and helpful as staff can be. Perfect! If you are looking for Cancun's nightlife, this place might not be good for you. I had a flight the next day at noon and the hotel was perfect for me.

Perfect if you want to stay close to Puerto Juarez, which have ferrys over to Isla Mujeres. Clean rooms, OK Wi-fi and very friendly staff.

This hotel was very economical and close to the boats that go to Isla Mujeres, although the beds were a little hard. the service was good and we did have a view of the ocean as promised. The area was a little run down and looked like a war zone but the hotel was nice inside and close to the ferry, Isla mujeres was gorgeous! The water turquoise blue on the boat trip there. This was a very nice hotel for the price. With some new mattresses and a refridgerator and or a microwave it would be perfect. The shower was great!

I booked room for 3 adults. they only have room with 2 twin beds. how do you sleep 3 adults on 2 twin beds?

ROCK HARD BEDS with a plastic sheet under the sheet. It was a miserable bed.

I picked this hotel because we had 2 extra days after our Playa Del Carmen timeshare before our return flight and we wanted to see Isla Mujeres and this said it was right across the street from Puerto Juarez ferry to the island. Also said they had airport shuttle, 2 items that made it easy to select the hotel. Other reviews gave us the skinny on continental breakfast and they were spot on- didn't expect to be served though, CB is usually self serve at other hotels we've stayed at. The bed was comfortably firm and the air conditioner worked fine. The hotel was situated exactly across for 1 of the ferries to Isla Mujeres- the one the locals use...the tourist one was a block down the street. There was a great restaurant a 2 doors down for lunch or dinner, but nothing for breakfast if you want something more substantial that cereal, toast, juice and coffee.

This hotel has very nice people, looks recently built, and is right across from the ferry to Isla Mujeres. The rooms were clean. They had a nice complimentary breakfast, though it is a lite breakfast (toast and cereal). The staff asks questions and gives good advice about your plans. There is parking if you have a rental. One caveat is that the area around the Hotel is a little seedy at night. Prostitutes come out and ply their trade and there are several motels nearby where they take clients. This Hotel is not a part of that scene and I never saw anything like that on the premises. You might see it on the road at night driving back and forth from the Hotel. This is not criminal activity, as prostitution is legal in Mexico. It doesn't look dangerous around the Hotel but I just thought I would mention it. If you need a taxi to take you there all you need to tell them is that it is across the street from Puerto Juarez. That makes it really easy. I would definitely stay here again. It is a good value.

元々、翌日のカンクン国際空港出発が早朝便（午前８時代）となるため、空港周辺で検索したホテルだったにも拘わらず、実際には空港から車で約３０分も掛るロケーション（Puerto Juarez)で、イスラムレーレス島(Isla Mujeres行きフェリー乗り場から徒歩5分位の場所に有るホテルでした。イスラムレーレス島に行くならば、良いのですが行きも帰りもタクシー又は乗合バスで１５～６０分位掛り、料金も250～200Pesoも掛りますから、宿泊料金を抑えられたとしても、良い場所のホテルとはいえません。　客室は開業からそんなに経っていないようで、白を基調とした明るく清潔な印象で悪くは有りませんでした。客室でインターネットへのワイヤレス接続も出来ましたが、余り通信状況は良くありませんでした。

El hotel está muy limpio y las habitaciones muy bien, las camas un poco duras, pero si lo recomiendo para un viaje donde solo se requiere donde llegar a dormir y conocer los alrededores durante el día. Muy bien de acuerdo a su precio.

On est tres bien accueilli le personnel tres gentil, l hotel est propre ainsi que les chambres, hotel situe face au port puerto juaez pr aller a la isla mujeres, un peu loin du centre ville mais possibilite dy aller en bus ou en taxi collectif 10mn petit dejeuner raisonnable cafe toast jus d orange cerale lait et un fruit. je recommande cet hotel....

la senorita con acento brazileiro es muy despota y no sabe tratar a los huespedes el dia del check in le dije que esa no era la manera de tratar a los huespedes y ella contesto que no siempre seria asi.

Hotellet var rent och snyggt med trevlig och hjälpsam personal.Läget var dock inte det bästa för ex. barnfamilj.Området var slitet och det kändes som en ändhållplats.Det fanns inga andra hotell så det fanns inga andra turister,men bussen stannade precis utanför så det var inga problem att ta sej ner till stan. Se dock upp med taxi,gör alltid upp priset innan du sätter dej i bilen annars blir du jätteblåst.

El hotel esta bien pero en los cuartos cuando te bañas toda el agua se riega por el cuarto y puedo uno caerse y lastimarse asi que deberian de componer ese desnivel que tiene los baños de los cuartos.

la agua ´para tomar te la limitan, esta retirado, pero es un hotel limpio casi nuevo, habitación muy limpias, es acorde a su tarifa, SI LO RECOMIENDO.

lo recomiendo es economico tranquilo la gente es amable y hospitalaria.

posizionato in una zona molto tranquilla e strategico per imbarcarsi verso l'isola delle Mujeres, a pochi minuti dal centro e dalla xona Hotelera

Buen precio para Cancun, algo alejado pero bien; solo que pagamos por 3 personas y recibimos 2 camas individuales, que tuvieron que juntar. Además nos hizo recordar la canción la "cama de piedra" por duras. La atención de la gerencia excelente y amigable, el desayuno continental y la atención muy bien. Si volveríamos a pesar de los colchones...

Rigtigt fint og billigt lille hotel, som dog kun kan anbefales hvis man har planer om at tage faergen til Isla Mujeres - den ligger lige paa den anden side af vejen. Ellers er der er taxitur ind til centrum og intet liv i naerheden. Personalet var super venlige og hjaelpsomme!

Hôtel très simple mais suffisant pour une étape d'une nuit. Il est juste en face de la mer tout près du port pour prendre le bateau pour isola mujeres. Sinon loin du centre à touristes.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut , direkt gegenüber dem Ferryterminal gelegen. Die Boote von Ultramar fahren ca. 200 m weier Richtun^g Cancun ab. Das Zimmer war sauber. Für den Preis ein sehr gutes Hotel. Das Frühstück war etwas mager. Keine geöffneten Restaurants am Abend in der Nähe.
