Very friendly staff. Beautiful views. Dirty pool and rocky, non- swim able beach.

Everything was OK as mentioned above in rating the various services. We enjoyed every second of the stay. The sunset was very nice which my daughter photographed for half an hour movie as well still.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for three nights in the elevation suite. The room were very clean, light and modern with a large bath tub and great shower views of the sea and bay were great. The main pool is out of service due to work being carried out, but the other two pools were sufficient for our stay. The hotel itself is expensive for food; you only have to take a two minute ride outside to find good Thai food much cheaper. The breakfast buffet was fabulous with a huge selection of food, something for everyone. I can’t think of anything negative to say about this place. A romantic hideaway!

Beautiful resort if you plan not to leave during your stay in Phuket. Hotel is on a separate island, so it is not walking distance to anything local. We were stuck paying Westin prices for food, drink, massages, etc. but we should have expected that, I guess! There's a shuttle to Phuket town, but it was closed on the Sunday we were there. Something to consider if you get used to paying Thai prices elsewhere!

A absolutely beautiful location. Calm and quiet atmosphere. Pity that there is no beautiful blue sea for swimming. The staff were all very friendly and helpful all the time. Transport offered to guests to nearest swimming beach as well as popular Patong and not just old Phuket town, is needed even at a price and would make a big difference. Paying a taxi 600 or 700 Baht makes any outing very expensive. Coming all the way to Phuket from all over the world, even guests wanting a peaceful holiday would want to see and experience the night life, sights and food of the rest of the island.

The resort itself was okay but to get to your room you had to take a tuk tuk as there were very steep hills and it took some strenght to walk down to the main hotel as well. The staff was friendly. The amendities in the room was very little compared to other Westin hotels and the shower room leaked so our hall floor got flooded every time we took a shower. The Spa which apparently was voted the best in 2012 was not great either. It was very noisy, the rooms were too cold and tratments were not great again compared to other Westin hotels. All in all not a hotel I would go back to or receommend.

Fantastic hotel, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff are very friendly and helpful, we did not have any problems. We hired a car which came in very handy as the hotel is about 15 minutes from Phuket. We ate all of our meals at the hotel, the food is amazing and there is a lot of choice.

We opted for a Superior Room with Plunge Pool and were sad to find that the plunge pool was unusable due to it being freezing cold. The bed was ridiculously soft the likes of which, I've never encountered before. We had to catch a very early flight before breakfast started and were told a breakfast basket would be sent up to us before checkout, that never arrived. The air conditioner woke us up several times when it cycled on/off. I don't try to find things wrong with places I stay but these few things stuck out. Other than these few things it is the most amazingly arrayed resort with everything you could need (a good thing since the surrounding neighbourhood isn't too nice after dark). Getting everywhere by golf buggy (you can't walk to reception for example) was a new thing for me and their system worked relatively well. Despite everything I would definitely give this hotel another go.

I think this is probably the best resort trip we had for the past few years. The views and breeze from the high level balcony were the best thing we had from the trip. We had relaxing afternoons and evenings sitting at the balcony having beer after swim. It was just fantastic. It was good that the resort was out of the way from the busy Phuket, but it is really inconvenient if you want to get out of the resort to go to the town.

Everything was perfect especially the staff at the Kids activity centre. Thank you Jenny and Na. Just be prepared to pay for transport out of the resort. Also as a football fan, there was no football channels in the room or anywhere in the hotel to watch EPL and I missed the Liverpool vs Man Utd game. Sigh.......

I had a very comfortable stay at the Westin Resort and Spa.

Room was comfortable and impeccably clean, service was great, breakfast buffet was amongst the best I've ever had. While the hotel has a beautiful cliffside setting, the location is somewhat remote, i.e., you can't really walk to anything outside the hotel grounds. However, it is fairly close to Phuket town and the marina (for excursions to Phi Phi island, etc.)

The rooms we had were amazing with sea views, there are a lot of infinity pools and a beach that is secluded. the resort is top notch. Negatives: lots of climbing to get to rooms as many have sea views, prices for food and drinks border on exorbitant. The breakfast is amazing with great fruit selection, crepes and capacinos. Drive into town is $10 but worth it if you want to eat some decently priced excellent tasting food.

The hotel provides a sense of peaceful tranquility for its guests. Even though the hotel is located on the other side of Phuket and travelling to Patong and other parts may be a chore. However, the surrounding, peace and tranquility do make up for that. The hotel is ideal for couples. Service-wise, abit slow and language is abit of a problem as most staff is not very good in English.

Rooms are very nice and offer a beautiful view over the bay if you insist to get a top floor room. Service is rather bad, not worth 5 stars. Waiting time for tuc tucs much too long. Never heard an apology for bad service even though i complained many times... However, food is very good.

Beautiful hotel with great service from all the staff. The hotel is a bit far away from everything, and the beach was not so nice. But overall a fantastic hotel!

Checking out of a resort and feeling that you should have stayed a few more nights, pretty much says it all. IF your looking to stay within the resort, and you dont want buzzing action at night - this is the place. The Beach was'nt much of a beach, but then I personally am more of a pool person. 3 awesome pools with beautiful landscaping> I couldnt ask for anything more. Even though I used just the one. The service was brilliant. We were there for 5 nights with our one year old and I can safely say that this is a very child friendly place. The only couple of drawbacks about the place would be that there wasnt any place for the kids to run around, and theres no real beach. The water didnt look very inviting and you could hear the sound of the ocean which is something you'd probably come to expect on a beach getaway. All in all - we had a super time at the westin. So if your looking for a quite family get away - this is the hotel - we stayed at the basic room, and it was more than sufficient. A tad far away from the buzz and action of phuket and patong - but that is exactly what we wanted. Thanks to the westin staff for making our stay so pleasant.

The hotel is so beautiful and make the stay feel like a heaven on Earth!

This hotel is about an hour from the airport, (which was too far) and it's stuck in the middle of an extremely poor dirty area. The hotel itself though is beautiful. & staff are helpful & friendly. It's a good place for relaxation but not much else. The restaurants were mediocre, and there was virtually no activities. No water sports, so it wouldn't be any good for young people. Also we were a bit upset that there was no way to do any half day trips to surrounding islands. Only very long full on tripe of at least 9-10 hours.

Overall, I had an awesome vacation. Deluxe room with plunge pool just one step away from the room was really splendid. Watching the sunset from the pool was an amazing experience. I would highlyrecommend this hotel to others.

This is a fantastic luxury hotel/resort with friendly staff and a beautiful location a bit outside Phuket town. The rooms have a high standard and every little detail is thought through. We had a spacious balcony with a stunning view over the bay, sea and Phuket town where you could watch the sunset every night. The 3 pools are also beautiful with lovely staff, bars and restaurants. This is the perfect hotel for a romantic vacation with your beloved. The only thing that annoyed us was the pricelevel in the restaurants and also for using the Internet. Since this hotel is a bit outside "everything" they have monopoly on Internet, food and drinks. This brings the prices up to a western Europe price level. And knowing how cheap Thailand is all together, this is very irritating. So, our holiday became significantly more expensive than we expected, but it was worth it!

If u are looking for a getaway holiday, that could be yr good choice, but if u can't stay with quiet then u better look for sth else over Patong.

WE stayed at this hotel for 4 days at the end of our one month Thailand trip...it was the perfect way to end our vacation...Beautiful hotel, beautiful pools, relaxing environment, beautiful breakfast buffet. Overall Amazing stay! We love Westin hotels and will be back!

very comfortable beds .. fantastic view

For a conference it was an excellent location. Quiet and serene. The hotel provides you with adequate service and excellent personnel.

I stayed in an elevation suite with my mother for 4 nights. We were having a girls trip. The hotel itself is very beautiful. The views, structure, pools, layout, etc. is all very gorgeous. The customer service is great, and I was very impressed with breakfast buffet (which was included with the room) and we tried all the restaurants and room service which was also very good (not included in the room). The spa was excellent and very professional. I only have a few complaints which I feel are justified because this is supposed to be a 5 star resort. First off, the beds are HORRIBLE. They are extremely soft and you sink into them. The pillows are bad too; really big and firm, and do not feel comfortable at all. My back hurt every morning and I would wake up during the night because I couldn't get comfortable. We weren't the only ones that felt this way because other guests by the pool were talking about how bad the beds are and how they are way too soft. Next, there are little structural flaws we noticed around the hotel that shows poor construction. For example, the bathroom cabinet doesn't close because the door is too big and the window in the shower has a half inch gap at the top between the seal and frame. Overall, we had a good time. We spent most of our time by the pool enjoying the great views. It would have been a GREAT time if they invest in better beds.

The Westin Siray is a great hotel to stay at and the staff is extremely friendly and well mannered. Everything about the hotel is superb. I specially loved the idea and management of the kids club and the various swimming pools. The rooms are spacious and clean and extremely well maintained. The people are generally friendly and try to help as much as possible. The staff every where in the hotel need to be commended for their great work. The only issue I had was with the location, with the hotel being very far from everything else in Phuket. I wish the management would look into shuttle services to Patong Beach rather than Phuket town. I would not have had an issue paying for this as well as the local taxi and tuk tuk drivers tend to overcharge a lot anyway. I am sure the hotel could provide a paid service to Patong and back on an hourly basis, and this would be very welcome by most of the guests. The second thing the hotel could look into is to have the private beach cleaned up a bit. I guess it could have been a bit dirty due to it raining a lot at the time that I went there. But even as it was, it was a lot cleaner than most other beaches.

There is nothing better than this hotel. The friendly service we received was one of the reasons this vacation will always be memorable to us. The room was immaculate and the grounds were breathtaking. We had the complimentary breakfast everyday and we loved the energy boost drinks. We would recommend this hotel to anyone of our friends and family.

Spent a wonderful 4 nights here. Had a great honeymoon time with its relaxing and great view, excellent service, friendly faces and good food. Although the pillow is too soft. However, other than that its excellent. Looking forward to come to westin siray bay again with family.

amazing really amazing and nice hotel on the sea but its far from midtown ...

This resort is breath taking when you arrive. Not only is the hotel beautiful but the view is just as nice (during high tide). I was traveling for a month and had to go back to Phuket two times after my first stay here. Each time we came back to Phuket we stayed at the Westin knowing comfort will be guranteed and we were not disappointed. One definite benefit was the delicious complimentary breakfast each morning (which we never missed). Their gym was also well equipped and was kept very clean with cold water to serve. The rooms were very comfortable as well. The first and third time we stayed there we were in the Superior Sea View Room, which was the perfect size for two and nice balcony which we utilized to experience the view. The second time we stayed there we stayed in the Delux which was just a little bigger. I would recommend to stay in the standard when comparing prices. Only complaint I would have is that if you are not much of a walker you may have difficulty getting around because the whole resort is on a hill and requires a lot of walking. However the front desk is always willing to get you a go-cart/tuk tuk ride to your room. As well internet in your room is very expensive, but they do offer free internet in the front lobby area. Lastly, that the resort is far from most entertainment so you'll always have to take a taxi, but that is most perfect for a quiet getaway. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. It was the best stay we had in all of Thailand!

First of all let me say overall this hotel was beautiful! And the employees are nice.Too bad only 2 of the 4/5 restaurants was open. But I think they rushed to open (this hotel just opened last Aug) because our bathroom still had stains on the wall and paint like to mark for future painting. And there was an awful smell in our room coming from outside but I heard a few people have complained about this.

It's not so uncommon to be greeted with a freezing towel, a delicious drink and huge smiles , however occurring in The Westins' 'drop-dead-fabulous ' lobby is where your holiday there starts ... check in is a breeze and the darling little electric cars that whoosh you to your suite are just the best . All suites have a fabulous view and the relaxed sophistication of the interiors are faultless. Situated at Siray Bay , the Westins' beach has no crashing waves , but lovely gentle ripples of see through waters ... and if the beach and sand isn't your favourite ; be in raptures in one of the sea water pools and stack up some zzzzz's in a coffee toned canvas pod chair ...but the one thing you'll miss if you don't at least visit the beach once is the unbelievably fabulous Dodo , the beach guard . such a charming , life loving , teeth as white as fax paper , and overflowing young man, with information and enthusiasm about anything and everyone and an incredible grasp of English. Breakfast at Taste , or in your suite , will be faultless and I do hope you meet Peanut, Beer and darling Emmy and all the other charmers that work the floor . Dinners taken at Eest or Prego will have you lusting for more. The layout of the resort is magic and has the appearance of a classic village but with maximum style. I'd never visited Phuket Town ... but found it a complete opposite to 'tiring' Patong ,as it has charm , a sense of peace, a personality of it's own, some charming architecture and is actually very cool with a more eclectic choice of places to drink dance or lay around. The street food markets are fabulous and the people are just a delight from the smallest little kid to one of more advanced years ... they all, without a doubt , just love to laugh at the silliest things and engage in conversation in the form it takes ... from signing, makeshift Thai to scattered English or little sketches , which I personally found useful to make clear a question. 휴양지로는 딱인 위치에 자리하고 있어요. 그치민 쇼핑과 시내는 택시를 이용해 나가야 하기때문에 나갈때마다 경비가 좀 들어요. 호텔 자체에서 셔틀버스를 이용하면 경비를 많이 절감할 수는 있어요. 하지만 하루 건너 푸켓타운과 센트럴을 간다는 불편함이 있으니 계획짤 때 확인하세요. 그 외에 호텔의 전망은 그야말로 너무 아름다웠어요. 픽업서비스 또한 잘돼있구요. 단 로비로 전화할 때 돈을 내지만 적은 돈이라 괜찮았어요. 다른 분들도 즐거운 여행됐으면 하네요.

Dette er et flott hotel.Vi stortrivdes.Det eneste jeg har å utsette er litt på beliggenheten. Det ligger litt avsides. Og det er et stykke å reise til de virkelig fine strendene. Men når det er sagt, så er maten på resturantene på hotellet veldig god. Så om man har lyst til å dra til et hotel å bare være der å slappe av, er Westin et veldig godt alternativ. Men ønsker du å reise litt rundt, finnes det kanskje andre alternativer.
