Saint Paul University Residence & Conference Centre - أوتاوا

This is my second time staying at this location and I am very pleased with the friendliness of the staff and how they go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable, the cleanliness of the hotel, not to mention the great location which is within walking downtown. You cannot beat this price for what you get.

Good quality accommodations, great for our family, good breakfast. No complaints.Thanks for a great stay!

excellent place to spend a few nights. Very quiet & clean. Nice continental breakfast. Only drawback double beds.

very nice place to stay, good connection to downtown with public transportation, even the saturday market on school parking lot was fun to see and buy fresh products...like it a lot....

Convenient for our purposes. Just a clean and quiet room for a one night stay. The parking became an issue for us but we squeezed in to a spot that was really not for parking. We worried a bit that we might get a ticket. It was a cold a rainy night and we didn't want to park at a distance from the hotel.

Much more than I expected for the price. Beautiful green areas surround the residence. Feels very safe and family friendly. Definitely has a studenty vibe. Very friendly, helpful staff. Will stay here again.

I went to Ottawa for an exam. This place was very reasonable for a short stay. Staff are friendly. Room was quiet, clean and convenient. It is also close to grocery. I would recommend this place and I will be looking to go there for another time.

Hotel was clean and lots of space. Plus , refrigerator and microwave. But no wireless in the room. Only wireless in Lobby.

For the price, it's beyond the expectation. it's in the campus, it took time for me to find the building. the microwave was smelling burn when we use it.

Everything is good, except i forgot my pajamas there then come back later and cleaner did not find it!

We had a pleasant stay. Neighborhood was quiet. Basic but adequate breakfast. Wonderful 2 bedrm suite. Had difficulty locating the residence on the campus. Would definitely look to return.

Perfect location within walking distance to downtown (along beautiful Rideau Canal). Great value for staying in Ottawa, staff was friendly and very helpful, continental breakfast is included in the rate and was a great way to start the day. Room was clean, and had everything I needed.

Overall very good stay, close to everything. The only and only issue is very limited close parking (when you need to load and unload your stuff) but then they have extra parking little further.

Probably the best hotel for the price for the 10 day vacation in different cities. If they can offer more breakfast varieties, nothing can beat it.

The stay was very comfortable good for family, complementary breakfast was a nice feature, close to main attractions and easy commute.

This is not your standard hotel room. Instead, it's a dorm room that has been converted into a hotel. There were two separate rooms, which would have been very nice if I had anohter person, but I was just by myself. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very comfortable, clean, and spacious. Not a five star hotel, of course, but it did its job very well. Would stay again for sure.

Our stay Saint Paul was comfortable and restaurants were not very far from the residence, I would highly recommend this place and I would come and use it on my next visit to Quebec City.

Clean, functional rooms, and nice to have two bedrooms for the price of one. Full size fridge and microwave are handy, but we didn't use them. Good service, helped us with an early check-in. Location isn't the greatest for walking from the hotel, but if you have a car it's fine. Would stay again....

We stayed for 3 nights. We were impressed by the quality of service and comfort for young families. Sure beats most Motels, and the price was just right. Would definitely come back and highly recommend to any traveller. No noise or rowdy issues. Had the best sleep over other 3+ star establishments . Very convienent to most attractions and downtown Ottawa and Gatineau.

This residence suited us perfectly. Two rooms and a kitchen, plenty of space for two parents and two kids, very clean and quiet, pleasant and courteous staff, safe and quiet and convenient location (very close to Rideau Canal and only about a mile from Parliament) and even a solid continental breakfast. Only complaint is inadequate internet access -- but even there when I inquired about wifi in the room the staff was quick to offer to lend a computer cable for wired internet. An excellent value - we will return. If you are looking for amenities (pool, room service, chocolates on your pillow) this is not your place. If you are looking for a great home base from which to explore Ottawa-Gatineau, it's great.

Parking is a problem.

We had arrived at the St Paul University Residence at 10:30 in the evening after driving through a rain storm for 10 hours. We were elated to find a very helpful staff member on duty that time of night. We found the facility very clean. The two room suite was basic but adequate for our needs - especially for the price. It brought back the good memories of being back in college doing graduate work.

Wish I knew about this place during the many years of weekly visits to Ottawa. Comfortable beds and quiet rooms. What else do you want? The location is a university environment and the rooms were much more comfy and efficient than my son's days in the quad. Staff was most helpful and certainly had a sense of humour. Having a car is helpful to get from the location to some museums and places of interest, but on a good day walking along the Rideau Canal to the downtown area is worth it. Will definitely think of staying here again on my next trip to the Capital.

The hotel for the price is actually very nice. It serves as a dorm for students during the year. We didn't drive which is the only negative thing I can really say about it. There seems to be plenty of parking if you do have a vehicle. The rooms are clean and big and for the price it's unbeatable. The surrounding area doesn't have much. You really need to get into downtown Ottawa to see anything. The only negatives are the towels are small, and the shower is small but other than that there is nothing to complain about. Everyone is friendly and helpful and you will be more than pleased to stay here. I would recommend staying here if you are on a budget.

We enjoyed most of our stay, the only thing that I would change is the shower head in our room as the water was all over instead of being able to be directed. This made it difficult to not have water everywhere in the bathroom. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and have suggested it to others as well. Good value for the money.

I must admit to some trepidation when I booked this stay. However upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly staff and given a quiet , clean and comfortable room. Housekeeping was done daily unless otherwise requested. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were large and fridge and microwave clean. One drawback is the absence of a Coffee maker. Breakfast was continental with a decent variety of breads and bagels, cereals and yogurt, being able to sit outdoors for breakfast was a nice bonus. The location of the campus is excellent, within walking distance of downtown. Transit service every 20 minutes if walking doesn't interest you. As a well known hostel, the variety of fellow travellers was remarkable , from fellow Canadians to people form 4 other continents. Yes it is a hostel, but clean quiet and excellent value for the money.

We had a very pleasant stay. With public transport only minutes away from down town. Breakfast was very simple with too much refined carbs. Thanks for the stay.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms. Really good value for your money. Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchenette and private washroom with a shower. It was difficult to get wifi connection in room (can get it in lobby on ipod but not on our laptop) but staff was kind enough to provide us with a cord to plug into the internet network. Close enough to the city. 5-10 minute drive or a 30 minte walk along the rideau canal (a nice walk). Great for families on a budget. I recommend it.

The room was really clean. I wondered if a double bed would be a little tight for two but it felt roomy. It was a short drive to the major sights in Ottawa, like Parliament. At one point we needed room maintenance and they came within a half hour .The breakfast room was a little busy but the weather was good and we enjoyed eating outside on the patio tables. Wi-fi reception was difficult as it kept cutting out.
