Angelfish Inn - هوليوود

My mom & I stayed at the angelfish before heading northand we were so pleasantly surprised! The room was fantastic, the location is PERFECT, and the owner was very accommodating and we felt very welcomed with my two dogs. Great place, HIGHLY recommend!

Perfect location, right price. Karen is the greatest and her staff. Couldn't do enough for us.

60 second walk to the beach. Very close to restaurants and nightlife. Comfortable, nice staff. A turtle pond for easy entertainment.

We found a little gem in the Angelfish Inn. The owner, Karin, was super friendly and accommodating. Love the courtyard with koi pond and turtles. Property is one block from beach and boardwalk. Room was cute and clean, love having a kitchen. We will definitely stay there again.

Stayed with family just one night recently in room 6. Each room I believe comes in different sizes, features and layouts. While aging, there is a true quaintness about this place located slightly over a block west of the beach and boardwalk. There is not enough on-site parking if the Inn is full, but we were given a parking pass to park along the street. My main complaint was very noisy window A/C unit above the master bed and the ceiling fan over the sleeper sofa my daughter slept on when she found the trundle bed not conducive for her to sleep on. I heard a racket about 2:30 a.m. and got up to discover the ceiling fan above her was so out of balance I feared it was going to shake loose and fall on her. If one is OK with not staying in a more modern chain hotel with newer facilities and amenities, but like the personal touches provided in this quaint retro throwback to the 1940's or 50's, then this place is for you. If that does not sound like you, I suggest you keep reading reviews and go elsewhere.

I booked this hotel because of the great reviews I read online, and I was not disappointed. The hotel was built in 1940, so don't expect Marriott quality. However it was clean, comfortable, and had an old style feel that I loved. It is a VERY short walk to Hollywood Beach's boardwalk that is stacked with delicious and very reasonably priced diners, ice cream parlor, shops, bars, and of course the beach! The closest diner offers breakfast for only $3.99 which included eggs, sausage or bacon, home style potatoes and pancakes! We made plans to be out on the town every night but we found ourselves drawn to the boardwalk where we ate and hung out on the beach, and when tired our bed was only steps away. The hotel is owned and operated by one person, Karen, and she is extremely helpful and accommodating. The hotel is made up of only about six apartments that surround a beautiful courtyard that includes a small pond full of koi fish and turtles. If you have kids, this would be a perfect location as they can be on the beach and in the water under a minute of walking, and if they get tired the room is close enough to put them down for a nap, and then back to the beach for some fun. If you want the lap of luxury you might want to pass, but if you want convenience, to be relaxed and really enjoy your vacation, book here! I will definitely make this my permanent place to stay anytime I am in the Miami area.

The place is very clean and well located. Guests and owner were nice and friendly. I would go back for sure!

Regrettably, after having viewed the apartment, we decided not to stay at that location. It is not the worst accomodation we have seen, but we just were not sufficiently comfortable staying there, due to the age of the property and the overall condition.

Saw it advertised with high ratings on a number of sites. Reviews were accurate. Lovely quaint place, close to the beach. Very relaxing stay and Karin, terrific hostess. Koi, turtles, and cats help the ambience. If in area would stay again.
