Wanderlust - سنغافورة

Fun hotel, different from the usual bland hotels in Singapore. However it is a noisy area so be prepared for some noise at night. Staff are very helpful and allowed us to leave bags and have a shower in a room before we left late in the afternoon. Food is really good at Cocette resturant on ground floor.

Wanderlust is very different from your typical singapore hotel. It is not 5 star but it is homely and down to earth. It is also near Little India which is full of South Indian veg restaurants. MRT is 2 blocks away to get to Marina Bay.

I stayed this past week at Wunderlust. It was an experience to stay at Wunderlust - a good experience overall. The staff was top notch and were extremely helpful. We loved the lobby and the hotel restaurant. The rooms were clean, and cozy. My husband and I stayed in a small room and we had luggage from 2 weeks of travel so the room was a bit too small for our liking as there was really no where to put our big bags. Don't even think about sharing the small rooms with a plutonic friend. Overall, it was a nice room and fantastic hotel.

Absolutely hands down the best place I have stayed in Singapore. The street food outside is delicious and the breakfasts here are amazing. The staff are so helpful - even packing me up a surprise breakfast as I had an early flight. The deck and jacuzzi are lovely and this hotel is a real haven in the best part of town for exploring.

I was traveling with my wife, transiting for one night. I have stayed in Dickson Rd before, last time in the Moon Hotel. I like this style of hotel - not a cookie cutter experience. The Wanderlust is a cool concept, each room being a different pantone colour theme. We had the black room. The bed was really comfortable, the room very quiet, but we were a long way from the street, which I imagine might be busy all night, due to many (good) hawker style food in the street. There is a well designed jacuzzi on the 2nd floor on the rooftop deck. Only negative of the room was slightly awkward bathroom arrangement - very little spot to arrange your toiletries. By no means a big deal though. The location is only a 5 min walk to the Bugis Street markets, as well as the 5 story electronics building. There is a heap of good food around and a 5 minute walk to Little India if you need fabrics etc etc.The only other negative for the stay was that they don't start breakfast until 7:30 am, which didn't work for us. I would have liked to try it though - the restaurant that has a great hipster feel, with a great feature light in the centre. Staff were very freindly and courteous. I would highly recommend.

I enjoyed staying at Hotel Wanderlust - great breakfast, fine rooms, good service and funny/unusual neighbourhood that I probably wouldn't have gotten to know that well if I stayed more central. It's was a little noisy from the alley on the side as the bar next to the hotel (and many of the rooms) was open until 4am. Also, the glass cube around the loo is a bit awkward when you're on holiday with your partner.

We stayed for a week, and loved the place. A loft room was great for a couple, breakfast was delicious, and surrounding restaurants fantastic. Try gokul on upper Dickson rd! It is a bit of a trek to the mrt, but is fine so long as it isn't raining.

We stayed during Christmas and our neighbour was partying. We could hear clearly so the hotel's sound proof is only fair. However this is our second time staying at the hotel. We love their rooms and concept. Will stay again.

Lovely hotel, staff could not of been any more friendly or helpful. Great rooms but take your sun glasses, wow what colours.

It was marvellous. Stayed in the space themed room and it was the best room i have ever stayed in. For the price, it is indeed comparable to a normal 5 star hotel given that i am very into themed-hotels. This hotel is unique at it's very best and do give it a try if you tire of the same old boring hotel rooms with the usual fixtures.

Was a bit taken aback when i arrived at the area but was pleasantly surprised when i stepped into the hotel. the lobby had really quirky furniture and most of all i've heard wonderful reviews about the loft rooms before even setting foot there. was really pleased with the unique layout of the loft room as well as the extremely comfortable bed. will visit again.

We spent 2nights here in April 2012. From Changi airport the hotel is about 30mins by Taxi at a cost of about 20SGD. The area of Little India is 'up and comming' and 'full of character' but we felt perfectly safe at all times. There is was a lot of construction going on around the area and Little India is a very busy area at night. Upon arrival, the staff were very informative and helpful. The Hotel is very secure with lift use requiring activation with the room card. We requested a quiet room and were given a room on the 3rd floor looking into the inner courtyard/lift. I was pleasantly surprised that the room was very quiet after reading other reviews. We could not hear any ouside noise at all and slept very well. The Mono room itself was quite spacious and the lighting effects very cool and easily changable to suit your mood. There was a 40ins (approx) LCD tv and the rain shower was spacious and excellent! Wifi internet was fast and the Nespresso machine and free soft drinks in the minibar a nice touch. The conversion to hotel is only about 1yr old so still looks clean and fresh. It is a 5min walk to the nearest HopOnHopOff type city tour bus stop and about the same for the MRT. Only 3stops/1 change to Orchard rd cost 1.2SGD Breakfast was good and included. We didnt eat at the hotel in the evenings as we were sampling as much Singaporean cuisine as we could...and there is lots of good cheap food available everywhere. Overall, we really liked our stay at Wanderlust, the staff are extremely helpful and accomodating, the hotel itself is quirky and cool but still very practical and the location is reasonably convenient. I would definately recommend it.

Wanderlust is unique. The rooms are not large but they have great design features and the staff does a great job of making them nice. You can’t spread out but if you can resist that temptation the space works great. The location is just off the main drag in Little India so you avoid the noise but are still just steps away from everything. The breakfast is very good; the bar is pricey but also very good. I would stay here again but ask for another room just to see what the other rooms are like.

Wanderlust is a PEARL in a very rough sea, but this is overcome by convenience for getting around. Beds were the best. Not hotels fault about the Maxi taxi service. If visiting would again would stay there.

When your selling yourself as a hip -groovy hotel, attention to detail is fundamental to maintaining the image. It’s the little things, isn’t it. - My cab driver and I drove around Dickson Street 3 times looking for this hotel. Apparently having a name or a street number at road level is too cool for this establishment. - First impression are very important. While the reception staff were great, the reception area felt cluttered and tied. Suddenly a photocopier appears, then ‘other’ stuff. The area becomes a working office - rather than a portal into a design experience. - My hotel room usually doubles as an office when I’m on business. The expectation of a desk or even a comfortable chair some how has eluded the designers brief. ( A logical option was to work at one of the tables in the closed restaurant. The restaurant manager was far from helpful and refused to allow me to sit in the corner and work on my computer). -The restaurant suffers from the same creeping issues as the reception. It has become cluttered with detritus. Stacked chairs and and other storage items do nothing but take the edge of the ambience.Far more effort needs to be put into preserving this. -- The included breakfast does not reflect the image the hotel is trying to portray. No consideration to offering what I would consider the basics: Fruit salad? That couldn’t be too hard. Or even Bircher Muesli? Overall I was disappointed with my stay at the Wanderlust. The management need to go back to basics and pull out all stops in preserving the original intent or risk the dangers of slipping into mainstream mediocrity. I was lusting after a more wonderful experience. Shame. 2 Stars. GlobalMate.

First, this an amazing funky little hotel. The staff is very nice. They smile all the time and take great care of you. The food from the restaraunt is fantastic. Each room is exciting and individual. They include a Phillips iPhone/iPod dock, Nespresso Machine 8-) and Keihl's toiletries which are usually found in very high-end hotels. Unfortunately there is also a design flaw that cannot be overlooked. The rooms do not have any ventilation in the shower which resulted in excessive mold in the shower and moldy odor throughout the room. I also cannot reccomend this hotel to the business traveler since there is no desk and the included wireless only allows you to connect a single device at a time and id very difficult if not impossible to switch between. Each time I wanted to switch between my laptop and my iPhone I needed to call the front desk and have them reset the wireless account for my room. In summary, if they can address the mold issue this hotel would get all 4s or 5s.

The location was convenient, the staff very friendly and the service in the restaurant spot on. I was lucky and could benefit from the special weekend rates, so I stayed in the "Monster" - Room, which was fun. Could also have a brief look into other loft rooms when they were prepared for the next guest (Otherwise they would not allow due to privacy rules. This is totally acceptable). The Espresso machine was highly appreciated, too. Can recommend the hotel for holiday and business travellers.

I loved this hotel. The location was good, the rooms were great, the staff were quite helpful, and the breakfast excellent. The wifi was strong and free. There was not a single taxi driver during my stay who seemed to have even the slightest idea where Wanderlust was located. I swear that on one trip we crossed the causeway into Malaysia! Some thought might be given to the hotel identifying a landmark nearby as a beacon for taxi drivers. An excellent value, and a fine business hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. Immaculate rooms, splendid little pool and great service! Very friendly cleaning staff who gladly showed us some other rooms just because we were curious. The restaurant Cocotte served great food aswell. Can really recommend this hotel to anyone who wants something less ordinary but with high standard and great design at a convenient location in Little India.

小さい子供２人と夫婦で泊まれるダブルの部屋が、なかなかシンガポールでは見つかりませんでしたが、こちらは可能だとのことで予約しました。一部屋ごと違うコンセプトだということで、わが家の泊まった部屋は、真っ黒の室内に、無数の星のようなライト。初めは子供には暗すぎるだろうと替えてもらおうかと思いましたが、意外に子供が大喜び。ロフトベッドも楽しかったようです。ただ、部屋の真ん中にバスタブがあり、シャワールームが離れていました。どうやって入浴すればよいのかわからず、毎晩シャワーのみでした。シャワーは気を付けてもドアの向こうまで水浸しになってしまいました。ホテルのサービスは言うことなし！朝食は数種類から選べて、卵料理２種類とパンケーキ、フレンチトーストと、みんなバラバラで注文しましたが、どれも美味しかったです。チェックアウトが早朝でしたが、サンドイッチとヨーグルトとジュースを用意していてくれて、空港で食べることができました。次回も違うタイプの部屋に泊まってみたいです！！

Das ganze Hotel ist sehr Stilvoll eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber! Am morgen hängt ne Zeitung am Türgriff und das Frühstück ist sehr lecker!

Ingesamt ist das Hotel gut zum empfehlen! Das Personal war freunlich und sehr bemüht. Zimmerausstattung sehr gut, alles da was man braucht. Auch die Lage hat mir gut gefallen. Punktabzug gibt es bei mir nur für die größe des Zimmers. Es war für zwei Personen + Gepäck sehr eng. Wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten für Kleidung. Für allein Reseinde mit wenig Gepäck jedoch sehr zu empfehlen.

Hotellissa erinomainen aamiainen, ensimmäisen keroksen huone pieni, ei säilytysmahdollisuuksia matkatavaroille. Muutaman yön yöpymiseen hyvä vaihtoehto (max. kolme yötä). Huone hiukan pölyinen, mutta yleisilme siisti. Henkilökunta ystävällistä. Metrolle noin 10 min. kävelymatka.

今回は部屋タイプ”Whimsical"に泊まって見ました。　若い人には問題無いのですが、僕の年齢にはチョット厳しいかも。　なぜなら、ベッドは所謂ロフトにあり、そこに登るのにかなり急な階段を使わなければならず、かなりきつい。　後は、洗面所の明かりがなく少しくらくヒゲを剃るときに不便。　スタッフは親切。　ただ、ローカルの食堂に面した部屋はうるさい。

O Wanderlust é um boutique bem bonitinho com quartos e toda a área comum bem decorados, além de vários objetos de design maneiros. O café da manhã é bem gostoso, embora não seja taaao variado. Achei o quarto um pouco pequeno já que como o banheiro ser integrado acaba perdendo-se um pouco do espaço. É bem na meiuca de Little India, sendo um pouco mais afastado dos quay, chinatown e da Marina. Para as 2 noites que fiquei funcionou, porém para mais tempo preferira outro lugar.

Mycket personligt och intressant lite hotell. Smakfullt och spännande inredning med stor variation av rummens utformning. Vid längre tids boende kan rummen upplevas som små - men perfekta för någon/ några övernattningar. Hjälpsam personal, både reception, matsal och städpersonal var mycket trevliga.

ホテルの位置は、ビギス駅とリトルインディア駅までそれぞれ歩いて１０分くらいのところにあり利便性は良いです。部屋は毎日清潔に保たれていると思います。しかし、私たちが泊まった部屋は２Ｆの部屋で、狭くて少し圧迫感を感じました。シャワータイプでバスタブはありません。隣の屋台が朝方まで営業していて、寝ていても、その声がきこえてきました。朝食は、パンケーキと卵料理とフルーツでした、評判どうりおいしい朝食だと思います。フロントやそれぞれのスタッフの方も皆親切で、セキュリティーも問題ないとおもいます。ホテルの道をはさんで食事をするところがあります。安くて味もわるくありません。

The wanderlust is a fantastic place. It is designed in every detail but with an human atmosphere. Some of the rooms might not be the most practical ones and I all respect to the cleaning staff here. But if you want to try something that you probably wouldnt do to to your own home this is the place to go. The food is great and the staff is 100 percent engaged in makong your stay as nice as possible. The area little india is an interesting melting pot maybe the liveliest in Singapore. Thanks for a nice stay to you all at Wanderlust!

夜遅くの到着でしたが、スムーズにチェックインでき、フロント、朝食など、親切に対応していただけました。MRTの駅からもう少し近いとありがたいですが、若い人なら大丈夫かと思います。

家族4人で泊まりました。 ちょっと狭かったですが、おしゃれで快適なお部屋でした。バスローブがふかふかで気持ち良かったです。 フロントの方も親切でした。

Das Hotel liegt in Little India und machte einen sehr sauberen und gepflegten Eindruck. Der Übernachtungspreis ist deutlich über dem Durchschnitt, war aber noch gerechtfertigt. WLAN und Minibar waren gratis nutzbar. Der Pool war leider länger für Renovierung geschlossen ohne dass dies vorab mitgeteilt oder auf der Homepage recherchierbar war. Eine Kompensation dafür gab es nicht. In diversen Bewertungen hatte ich zuvor von "geringen Ablagemöglichkeiten" im Zimmer gelesen und war erstaunt über solche Aussagen. Vor Ort stellte sich dann aber heraus dass es weder einen Tisch noch Stuhl im Zimmer gab und dass die Freiflächen um das Waschbecken sehr klein waren. Insofern stimmt es schon dass man hier "aus dem Koffer leben muss", aber das war zu verschmerzen. Die Anreise mit der MRT ("U-Bahn") ist möglich, Haltestelle "Little India", dann Ausgang "E" wählen. Rucksacktouristen können das HOtel von dort gut zu Fuss erreichen. Anreise mit dem Rollkoffer ist eher "problematisch", da in Little India die Gehsteige sehr eng, zugestellt oder in den Seitenstrassen nicht vorhanden sind. Wer mit dem Rollkoffer kommt, nimmt sich besser ein Taxi!

Angenehmes Hotel, super Lage. Metro in der Nähe ebenso die Haltestelle des Hopp-on-Hopp-off Busses. Frühstück ausreichend. Essen gehen in Little India ist kein Problem, besonders zu empfehlen ist das Blue Diamond.

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk, alles is schoon, goed ontbijt - maar de kamer die wij hadden was piepklein, heel onpraktisch, de koffers moesten op de grond staan zodat je er over struikelde en er was geen palek om iets even neer te leggen. Ook moet je redelijk fit zijn om het bed in en uit te klimmen.

Das wanderlust Hotel ist ein Design Hotel mit etwas anderen Zimmern als erwartet. Das Panthone Zimmer ist sehr klein, es fehlen leider einige Ablagemöglichkeiten. leider ist das zimmer sehr sehr hellhörig zur Straße raus. Das Restaurant unter dem Zimmer hat bis 4 Uhr morgens betrieb und ohne ohrstöpsel kriegt man kein auge zu, wenn man lärm empfindlich ist. das frühstück ist super, das restaurant hat eine sehr gute Küche.Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuverkommend. Mir hat einfach nur das Zimmer nicht gefallen. Ansonsten ein schönes interessantes Hotel.

Litet och roligt hotell mitt i Little India med mysiga rum. Restaurangen såg trevlig ut, tyvärr kunde vi inte använda den pga tidigt flyg.
