So I really enjoyed this hotel. It's really pretty and well-maintained, and the bathroom was really, really nice. The walk-in shower was HUGE with this great showerhead. Also, the hair dryer had a diffuser on it (bonus!!) and the soap smelled great. I think all hotel rooms in midtown are small, so that's not really a complaint against Cassa. Also we were stuck on the 11th floor. I was a little disappointed with the breakfast. They don't tell you that you can't choose any from the list. It's limited to a few items. Also, when we checked in we didn't get our breakfast coupons because of a mixup. Don't get it--go get brunch out in midtown instead.

The stay is very nice, no doubt. But they do need to improve on the heating system of the hotel. I was given a free upgrade to a suit but heating is NOT up to par with the other good services of the hotel.

First off, the staff was super friendly! The location was perfect. Loved the fact that we we could take in the action of Times Square but at the same time, be very low key. I would tell anyone to stay here!

Though the size of the hotel and the room was much smaller than it appeared to be in the pictures, it was certainly sufficient for our needs. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The location was close to several good restaurants, the subway, and lots of sites. We had a very quiet and restful night.

hotel was very nice awesome location . Staff was great and accommodating. Wife loved the rooms decor.

The location was perfect for our trip. We were within a short walking distance of Broadway, Time Square, and many other attractions and shops. The staff couldn't have been more inviting and pleasant. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The location is great, and we had a great rate compared to other hotels around Times Square which made the hotel acceptable. The front desk people were very friendly like all employees . The rooms are from floor 11 upwards to 42nd floor and Penthouse, the lounge is on the 10th floor with free wifi. In the room it is apparently very expensive (see other posts). Inconvenient that we had to go to 10th floor for internet. The room was relatively small for 2 and had a comfortable double bed. In the rooms is hardly any information about the hotel,There was no coffee maker in the room. When I asked about it, they brought one, but only decaf coffee, and no cups. I asked again, but they could not find regular coffee, so they brought a Kreuger but still no cups. There are cafe's to the left and right of the hotel within a block for good and reasonably priced breakfast. Across from the hotel is "Jack's World" shop with some food and drinks at great prices to take back to the room to avoid the super high prices of the room bar. A pharmacy market is around the corner on 6th avenue. The telephone prices are from the 20th century, $1 per minute even for local and toll free calls, $1.50 for other calls and $10 for international calls per minute plus a service fee! They obviously take advantage of international guests who don't have a US cellphone sim card. So just calling home for 5 minutes to say you arrived safely will cost you more than $50!!

The only thing I didn't like was the puddle of water I stood in when taking a shower. Another drain is needed in the shower. The bed was a little small to, low to ground.

It was difficult to find the hotel at first. No big signs out front and it is set back, however, the location is fantastic. We always stay in this area and unless the rate was much lower than some of the other hotels in , I don't think I would go back. Room very small which is what I expect in NYC, but the other hotels seem to use the space more efficently. No shelves in the shower area..you have to put soap, shampoo etc. on the floor. All in all, not a major disaster. The staff was wonderful they even sent a bottle of champagne to our room because it was my husband birthday.

Had a fantastic stay at Cassa. They really personalised our stay. The rooms were plenty big enough for a city break and the beds were extremely comfy!! All the staff were extremely friendly and polite. Special mention to Stephanie on the front desk who was so helpful and kind throughout our whole stay! Would stay again and recommend to others!

Hotel was clean and convenient. Definitely not a 4 star, no loby, no restaurant, no jim! overall clean and comfortable rooms.

Very nice hotel. Room small but good bed.

We realy enjoyed our stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful and our room was cozy and close to everything. We were particularly impressed with the concierge, Eric, who found us great tickets for every show we wanted to see. We would stay there again and highly recommend it.

Difinitely will return to this hotle grat location

My room came with continental breakfast on the 10th floor. Serving staff wasn't trained well enough to deal with people a little more than a couple. Had to wait for 20 minutes and gave my room number 3 times.

Service was spectacular! Room and hotel itself was immaculate! We go into the city at least twice a year to see a broadway play which is minutes away from the hotel. This will definately be the hotel we stay at for all future trips.

Loved this hotel. The only thing missing is room service and a restaurant. Both of which are coming soon.

Nice hotel. Small and contemporary with construction going on foe their pending ground level BLT Brasserie restaurant . Staff if friendly and professional. Bathroom amenities and products are of fine quality. I got a decent rate, but possibly because of the construction. I'll be curious to see what things are like when this 2 yr old place is finally complete.

When we arrived at the hotel we were so pleased that everything was as had been previously described. We had just got out of a scam taxi cab which was followed by a roadside argument after he tried to charge us $170!!! On entering the hotel there was signs of construction work in progress which made us think that we were going to be in for a bit of a weekend. How wrong we were, the customer service at reception, by the cleaning staff and the restaurant staff was second to none. Whilst the bed wasn't the largest it was still plenty big enough and I am 6'3" and over 16 stone. It was super comfortable and was probably one of the better points of a pretty disappointing visit to the Big Apple. The higher floors are really quiet and relaxing and without going up to the top floors I bet they have spectacular views of the city. The hotel is central to all the major sights and they are really helpful when you require any transportation to Downtown etc. Whilst we will not be returning to New York again it is definitely not because of this little Jewel. Keep it up guys!!!

excellent location for easy access to all the main attractions. would have liked tea making facility in the room but otherwise cannot fault the hotel. other reviews had commented on the rooms being small but we had a standard room and were surprised at the space.

Great hotel close to Times Square. Conveinent, within walking distance to Times Square and Rockefeller Plaza. Only critique is limited amenities like coffee and continental breakfast. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. I would recommend, especially since the cost was reasonable compared to other neraby hotels.

Great location between Grand Central & Times Square (5 minutes walk to each). Room was facing the rear of the hotel and was quiet.

I have accidently left my jacket in the closet and therefore have contacted this hotel a day after the check out. After calling 4 times, speaking with 3 different front desk pesonnels & 3 different housekeeping personnels, finally someone in the front desk found my jacket and promised to return it to me via FedEx using my account number. It was never returned.

It was a pleasant surprise! I was very pleased with Cassa's location, interior decor, the comfort of the mattress/pillows/beddings, the cleanliness and their customer service! I was slightly disappointed with their rooftop bar/lounge. It was more like a cafeteria more than a real bar/lounge/restaurant. Their staff was very friendly and helpful answering my questions. I was informed that they are in the process of building a real bar/lounge/restaurant downstairs at the lobby level. I was also slightly disappointed with the severe corner wall and desk damage which is not pleasant to look at, but they tried to cover it with the desk chair which made it a lot more pleasant for the eyes, but I can still see them when I sat at the desk. It would be nice if Cassa place a work order to have that patched/fixed. It doesn't seem like a big nor a pricy job, but it would match the quality of everything else this hotel provides. Overall, my stay at Cassa was fabulous and would definitely stay here again next time I visit NYC.

Spent 4 nights at Casa - Wish to advise that the Hotel met 90% of our personal criteria for a New York Visit - the staff were great - our only complaint is that the room was not equipped with an electric kettle or cups and the music at the reception entrance was too loud - otherwise excellent and will recommend to others.

Terrific location close to theaters and restaurants. Rooms appear newly refurbished and staff helpful with theater tickets and restaurant reservations.Hotel restaurant under going renovation. Recommend for quality and value. * * * *

The hotel ran out of rooms and I was bumped up to a pent house! It was an incredible view.

Very clean and modern, small rooms but good enough for us. Only complaint is the noise you hear from the street and other rooms.

Love this hotel. Chic boutique hotel ear to Times Square. Lovely room, great bathroom and great staff. Wifi free in lounge. Umbrellas provided for guests. Very clean room and good service. No negatives here!

The hotel was very clean and modern. Bed was very comfortable. Very roomy for a hotel in New York. Would definitely stay again!

clean and modern. better than expected, which is rare. just make sure you don't leave your toothbrush in the cup in the bathroom...

A delightful boutique hotel. Friendly staff. clean room. Huge tv screen . Great bathroom double size shower . I was upgraded with no extra charge. Very nice room service lady. Small lobby . They do charge for wifi except in the restaurant area. If I wanted to stay in this section of town again Cassa would be my first choice no question. Staff very helpful and friendly. Felt very much at home here.

Great location. Very clean, comfortable room. Wish it had a bit more lighting though. Bathroom had good lighting and had an overhead rain shower. We had no special needs yet every one of the staff said hello, goodbye, have a nice day and welcome back. Didn't try restaurant on 10. BLT not open yet. Got the room through a booking engine and would stay here again.

Great location. Small boutique hotel with very friendly and helpfull staff. Great shower, much appreciated after a long day of sightseeing.Would be happy to stay again next time in New York. The only negative is the poor lighting in the rooms.

The Cassa offers an very good base for a short New York break. Perhaps a little sparse for some but then it is 'New York Modern' in approach. Reception is sparse but has excellent and informative staff. Rooms are very adequate, well appointed and clean. The only thing lacking is an atmospheric lounge and bar area for that relaxing drink or two after a long day in the city. Breakfast comes at best price from just around the corner at the 'Red Flame' diner.

Great service and location that was close to Times Square. Not a lot of amenities at the hotel, but you can find plenty close by. Not too much noise from the street in our room.
