فندق ممتاز، معقول جداً من ناحية السعر ونظيف. قطعاً أنا أنصح به.

لقد حظينا بإقامة ممتازة في فندق "ذا وينشستر جراند". طاقم العمل بالفندق كان متفوقاً، لقد رتبوا لنا رحلات محلية، ووفروا لنا خدمة أوتوبيس الرحلات لزيارة عدة مواقع، وأقرضونا محول كهربائي لشحن الحاسوب الخاص بنا. لقد كان الفندق في حي هاديء، وبالقرب منه متجر بقالة. محطة قطار الأنفاق ضمن مسافة يمكن سيرها. كان لديهم حمام سباحة لطيف على سطح المبنى، واستمتعنا بالحوض الساخن كل ليلة بينما نُطل على أضواء المدينة. سعر رائع - إقامة رائعة.

هذا الفندق يتميز بطابع ودي، والعاملون فيه متعاونون، والأجواء المحيطة فيه مريحة. وتتوفر في الغرف جميع وسائل الراحة التي يمكن أن تتمناها، بما في ذلك الغسالة، وهناك مراعاة جيدة للتفاصيل بالإضافة إلى السخاء في تقديم الخدمات التي تعتبر عادية. كما أنك تحصل أيضًا على خدمات جيدة مقابل سعر معقول بالإضافة إلى توفر حمام سباحة وصالة تمارين اللياقة البدنية، وإذا كنت تحجز للإقامة فيه، فتذكر أن تخبر سائق السيارة الأجرة أنه بالقرب من فندق جولدن ساندز ذي الأربع نجوم، وإلا فقد تضطر لدفع أجرة أكبر! استمتع!

كانت الغرفة نظيفة وواسعة. وكانت تتوفر بها جميع وسائل الراحة التي يمكن أن نتمناها، وهو أرخص من أي فندق! وكانت خدمة العملاء رائعة. فقد كنا نتصل على الأرجح 10 مرات يوميًا لنطرح عليهم أسئلة للاستفسار، ولكي نحاول أن نقرر بشأن جولاتنا، ولنطلب إجراء مكالمات هاتفية، وكل شيء آخر، وفي كل مرة كنا نحصل على خدمة رائعة. كنا 3 أفراد نقيم في غرفة واحدة وكانت ملائمة بالنسبة لنا، ونام اثنان منا على الفراش، بينما نام الثالث على الأريكة (التي لم تكن تتحول إلى سرير لكنها كانت جيدة). وكان الموقع جيدًا، وكانت هناك متاجر بالقرب منه، وكانت هناك حافلات للتوصيل إلى وجهات محلية. كان الإفطار يتكون من طعام هندي، لذا قررنا عدم الاشتراك فيه من اليوم الثاني، وبدلا من ذلك اشترينا الإفطار من متجر البقالة.

We were not told about the building and drilling happening across the street from the hotel or we would have booked another place,we made do by going out as much as possible,if circumstances where different we would happily stay at this hotel again.

While the rooms were clean the ac was not cool enough, the faucet broke on first use and drier did not work. When we asked, there was no stand fan that they could provode to us to cool the roomr

Accessible to key touristy areas by taxi and metro. I personally feel al fahidi station is nearest to the apartment. I couldn't find the other metro station khalid ibn waleed, which the hotel staff mentioned was nearest to us. Spinneys supermarket is less than 10 mins walk away (near al fahidi metro station) for late night snacks or grocery shopping if you feel like cooking. There is a smaller mart closer to the apartment. The shuttle service to locations like Dubai Mall, museum, Jumeirah Beach, etc is convenient and money saving! Breakfast buffet is chargeable at 30DHMS - very affordable. Free wifi only at the lobby and restaurant. Bed is big enough for 3 ladies. Additional sofa bed wasn't as comfortable. Too thin for comfort. Houseekeeping - comes up to our room very promptly if we need extra towels or replenish our coffee/tea. The room is not carpeted and so the floor and the room gets really cold during winter. So during our 7 nights there, we only switched on the aircon once during our last night! No complains about cleanliness. Get a taxi to the airport. It would cost less than 40DHMS. The hotel charges 60DHMS to the airport. I do not mind staying here again.

The hotel is very conveniently placed. They do still have the old boxed television. Overall the stay was very comfortable, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Tiles in the bathroom were broken but apart from that no concerns at all. Food is good and the lasagne made by chef Mr. Gomes was very nice.

Was on business and had to check out of CityMax due to noise and sewage leaks. Huge kitchen, plenty of rooms nice location. Would stay again.

location was not great. There is nothing close, unless you want to visit a Spinneys for food and water. The room had a microwave and a washing machine so was ideal for me. although there was nowhere to dry my clothes, one of the cleaners took my clothes to a drying room which was great customer service. People were very nice and most of the taxi drivers had no problem finding the hotel. Oh and there is no wifi in the rooms, you need to pay for cabled internet.

Reasonable

The room was very nice but the buffet was not good at all the food is absolutely horrible with expired yogurt. they were just drying my clothes because I had a washer in my room they said it would take only 2 hours but it wasn't even done after 10 hours and they almost had me missed my flight so I went in the airplane with wet clothes in my bags. Ok place as long as you don't get anything done with laundry there.

Just to make people aware there are two Winchester hotels the Grand is behind the Winchester. If you ask the Taxi drivers they only know the one on the main road make sure you mention that the grand is the one that is inside. Overall very good place to stay we had a one bedroom and it was good for two kids and us. The Sofa bed was not that comfortable but for a few nights and for the kids it is ok. They do not bring you tea bags which is complimentary you have to ask for it. Just behind the hotel there is a mini mart where you can get every necessity. 10 Minutes walk to Metro and Taxis are frequently available. Their shuttle to drop of to Airport is cheaper then Taxi. Overall enjoyed our stay. They are painting the exterior. Internet in the Lobby is fast and reliable.

Location - 5 minutes walk to Green METRO / @15 minutes to Red METRO. Value - excellent size (kitchenette) for the cost Cleanliness - very clean and everything worked in the room & bathroom. And the one maintenance problem I had was fixed promptly after I mentioned it Room Service - prompt & inexpensive & convienant (food avail 24 hours a day) Internet - (in the lobby) was free & a fast connection Service Staff - a special Plus / Atta-boy / Cudos to "Mark"! The guy was super helpful and his personnality & ready smile brightened the desk & made my first contact with the hotel very pleasent!

We arrived early (7.00am) and were told that The room would not be available for a few hours. We left our bags, went to explore and were in our room by 9.30am. Good service. The hotel is about 15mins walk from the metro and shops etc. There's a smallish pool on the roof . Breakfast was only 25AED and was adequate. We had a studio apartment which was equiped with kitchen appliances but as we were only there for a few days we didn't use. The room size was good. The hotel had courtesy buses to various parts of Dubai. We used one to go to the beach. Overall a good experience and good value. Only negative was that wifi was only available in the lobby, but that seems to be common in smaller hotels.

The hotel is nice, the front desk personnel were great and very polite. The bus driver was awesome, he gave me plenty of traveling tips. I think the shuttle to and from the aIrport should already be included with the room rate. You have a walk out to look for a restaurant, I did not try the restaurant in the hotel. It is a little far from the airport ($20) and the Dubai Mall ($15) on a cab. Taking the tram/train would be an option for a 10 minute walk to and from the station.

This hotel was fine if you need to be in Dubai for a short time on a budget, but overall I found it noisy and bit run down. So, if you need to save go for it - if not, find somewhere more comfortable.

Hotel is good. Staff reasonably helpful. Good cheap buffet food. Location is ok - but you need to get taxis most places - they are cheap enough though. Gym is alright too as hotel gyms go. Pool ok - interesting vista from the top.

Nice and kind staf and the rooms are fine. do find something near the hotel to guide the taxies, cause they don't know it and that can get very expensive.

I really liked my staying in this hotel. Not expensive and I felt that I payed my money for the right choice. You can walk to reach the metro or of course you'll find a cap! it is not far away from the points of interests and it is clean. The room was good and the stuff were very nice.

The apartment has spacious room space. Good for families with kids. its the only hotel apt we stayed in Dubai that has free internet access in the lobby area. Others would require you to pay for internet. Not many taxi drivers know the apartment location so bring a map with you. or say the correct name of the name because there is also a hotel nearby with the same name

Stayed with children- extremely friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean and the apartment spacious and comfortable! Had a great time in Dubai and it was lovely to come back to a cosy hotel. The rooftop pool was clean- overall good value for the price paid in an expensive city otherwise!

Nice place to make a base to see various sites. Helpful staff. Good price. Nice rooftop pool.

Hotel was very clean and nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Even the Indian staff has been trained to be nice. 10min walk to metro and 15min drive from the airport. But, pay attention that there are two Winchesters. There is a fancy one and then this one. Bot belong to same management. If you are there for few short days and don't spend a lot of time in your room then this is highly recommended...

This hotel is great. I booked it from the USA the 15 hours before my arrival. I booked it only for one night so I'd have a place to stay. It was so fabulous that I had to book it for the next night. The staff was super friendly, the view from the pool is spectacular, the neighborhood had a great Lebenese restaurant and grocery store AND there were free shuttles to Jamira beach and the mall of Dubai. Now, the room itself was just what I needed. Big enough, with a fridge and a washer!!! I also didn't bring a converter for my hair straightener and they supplied it for my stay. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel. I will be sending my parents on a trip to Dubai and will book their stay here!!!

Entire stay is very comfortable and service was excellent. Reception was very helpful especially Vinod and vishu was exceptional.

Very affordable hotel with friendly staff. The room was large and clean and the amenities for the price great. As I was only staying for the one night I ate all my meals in the hotel which were buffet style and very reasonable. The hotel is also close to most of the sights with free hotel transport at various times during the day which was a bonus.

This hotel was very nice and cost effective. The staff were very helpful with all our enquires. The hotel also provided free transportation to many of the tourist attractions, so this saved us tons on taxi fares! However, i would liked to have seen a more wider breakfast selection, rather than the standard every morning.

looks like a place that would be rented by the hour...i feared for my personal safety from those who work there...

11 of us stopped by Dubai on our way back from Uganda to the US, we stayed at Winchester Grand for 3 nights. The hotel is closed to the airport. Management and front desk staffs were very friendly and supportive. The front desk manager booked a Desert Safari tour for our 1st evening and sold us discount tickets for bus tour on the 2nd day. Both tours were wonderful. They even found a way to send us back to the airport for a very reasonable price. The room is big and comfortable. I will go back to Winchester Grand for my future trip.

Small hotel but have everything you need. Very good price for a Spacious room with kitchen, lovely roof top swimming pool, good quality food served in the restaurant. The hotel location is a bit confuse, even the taxi didn't know. (but only happened when we arrived, but no problem for the rest of our stay). Very good to have Shuttle bus to beach & other attractions.

There are no exact words to describe our suprise on our arrival to this hotel. We imagined Dubai's hotels especially rates 4* to be clean, spacious, airy amazing, it was nothing as such, it was dirty smelly far away from all major shopping centres and attractions, very very appalling, service was ordinary, we were hot and thirsty and no one has offered us any refreshments on the arrrival especailly with two children, we had to go to restaurant and buy water, would never go or recommend this hotel to anyone, sometimes it is not worth reading reviews, i did and this is where i ended up we all slept in one bed four of us because we were apalled and discusted, everything was so outdated,

Horrible location. No taxi driver knows where this place is and it's "close" to the metro, but walking there in the summer is not really an option. It's somewhat clean but the hallways are a bit dank, some interesting smells abound, and the "security guard" is a little strange. There's no internet in the rooms, only in the lobby so that's a big negative.

Nice hotel and many thanks for the free upgrade! Good breakfast. Perhaps, free wifi can be extended to the room.

Everyone that worked at the hotel was very pleasant! They helped my sister and I find great tourist activities at fantastic prices and walked us through every step of the way. That was great, since it was our first visit to Dubai. The hotel is very close to everything. Also, it conveniently has a small grocery store located just on the other side of the building. This was such a huge help to us because we could just walk to get what ever we needed. I could not be more happy with our stay there. It wasn't a "luxury" hotel but it was everything that we needed at an unbeatable price. The rooms were very clean and everything looked very well kept. My only note is that if you stay there, make sure that you tell your taxi driver that you are staying at the Winchester "GRAND" Hotel because there is another Winchester hotel by a similar name where we accidentally got dropped off at. Luckily, they are sister hotels and only a few blocks in distance. We were shuttled to the other hotel at no cost. Bottom line: If I went back, I would stay there again.
