Perhaps my standards for a 5 star hotel are to high but I would expect high standards in cleanliness, service, amenities, food and drink. This was good, I would expect it at a 4 star level though. We were never given fresh glassware from housekeeping, or even new toiletries from the previous guest. I mean, never in the 6 days were were there. The service was good, if you were a male placing the orders, not a female. The conceriege was very helpful to finding a great car service. The food was good, perhaps a little over priced and the mixed drinks were horrible. The view was lovely, the grounds were very well kept and the other guests were very friendly. The surounding neighbrohood wasn't unsafe or scary but it was under lots of construction. It was very close to Namaa Bay, which is great for shopping and other wonderful restuarants. It wasn't bad... just not excellent.

Its a nice hotel, but catered completely to Russians, which is great if your Russian. I was also disappointed with the poor service at the hotel but this is across Sharm people are stoned most including staff at this hotel. While friendly their ability to actually execute stuff isn't fantastic. That said its better then some of the other dumps in Naama Bay, so if you have a choice stay here or at the Hyatt.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room the first two nights was probably the worst in the hotel as it was above the in-house nightclub. We were promptly moved upon our complaint (although not with a king size bed which is what we had purchased on hotels.com) to a room one floor up which was a lot quieter. It was my husbands birthday whilst there and the hotel really went out of its way to make him feel special - they presented him with a delicious cake complete with candles, a newspaper and chocolate bar. All very thoughtful. The snorkelling here at this resort is an absolute must. Buy snorkels in town on your first night. The fish are incredible! I have stayed at another resort at Sonesta that does have a proper beach, but I would choose Stella again due to the ease of snorkelling along a big reef. All in all a great hotel.

very nice hotel, enjoyed our stay in the hotel and in sharm. the only inconvenience was that the hotel, though very near to nema bay, reaching the bay envolved making a detour to get to the main st. and from it to other areas. the location should lead to better shutle services.

Me and my partner both work really hard and required a break and some fun. Stella Di Mare was perfect as during the day we relaxed in a luxuios friendly environment and we were so close to the busy Nama Bay. Would definately reccommend to others and would only ever stay there when we return. Lively atmosphere yet peaceful when required with good food.

good service nice swimming pools great views, great breakfast buffet. the only downfall is transportation.... while they do offer free shuttle buses to the center of naema bay, the walk to the hotel is impossible.. a taxi is needed... over all great stay

The hotel Stella di Mare Beach $ Spa is a high quality hotel. Everything looks sparkingly new - it has been built a couple of years ago and very well kept since - the rooms are very comfortable, the service is impeccable and the quality of the food is high. The access to the sea is easy and the beach comfortable. The only drawback is that - although built on a cliff just over Naama Bay - the only way to get there is by taxi on the main road (about 5 minutes) or with the shuttle provided by the hotel, which is not very frequent. All things considered I recommend this hotel, and if I ever go back to Sharm i would stay at the Stella Marina again.

We stayed at the hotel just for one night and were impressed by how swanky it was. We liked the fact that everything felt new and fresh. There was a slight problem though: when we tried to go snorkelling with gear that we had rented, there were two shark fins showing in the water so we were not allowed to snorkel that day :-( But once the sharks are gone I'm sure everything will be lovely. And once the tourists come back, because right now most of Sharm el Sheikh is really quiet. The hotel itself seemed to attract a mixed crowd of mostly all inclusive tourists, eating buffets and chilling by the pool. We liked the pool area and the general level of service was excellent. The food was pretty good too, and they have a really nice outside dining area which is great in the evening. The spa and gym also seemed great. So yeah, overall we really liked it and felt it was the kind of place to go if you like to stay put. I guess it isn't too hard to get into and back from town either, there's a free shuttle bus that leaves every now and then. I would recommend this hotel and I hope that people will come back to Egypt. Those people need us, maybe more than ever now, after the revolution!

The hotel was excellent and the staff were all extremely friendly and polite. It was a shame that we were there just after Mubarak was ousted so the hotel was very quiet. There were no other children which was a shame for our son who is 11. There was a kids club and a games room so I can only imagine this was because of the countries troubles that had only just finished. I would definitely stay at the hotel again. Just one niggle was the shop keepers trying to get you to go in to their shops whenever you passed by. You dont really expect that in a hotel. Again this could have been as the hotel was so quiet. It must be a very hard time economically for the whole country.

Me and my spouse spend great weekend in this Hotel. It is new and clean. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Territory is not big but nice. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. It was my fourth visit to Sharm and it was best hotel in ever stayed there. Underwater is not so good as Ras Um Sid area but it's still nice for snorkeling. I would recommend to book this hotel with all-inclusive package if you do not plan to go out to the city to have lunch and dinner - prices in restaurants are high (as everywhere in Sharm El Sheikh's hotels).

O resort Stella Di Mare em Sharm el Sheikh é simplesmente um hotel perfeito para todas as ocasiões! Tive momentos maravilhosos em luxuosas instalações, com restaurantes de primeiríssima qualidade e funcionários sem igual! Acredito que seja um hotel adequado para pessoas de todas as faixas etárias! Recomendo!

L'hôtel et juste magnifique, le personnel est d'une gentillesse et attention permanente. Les piscines sont chauffées. Génial pour les enfants. Le concierge Ahmed est un ange et l'hôtel est le paradis sur terre. Repas du soir à Naama Bay, navette gratuite. (MERCI). Petit-déjeuner copieux et très bons. Le restaurant asiatique au-dessus de la mer est un endroit glamour de chez glamour, . Le centre de plongée est le top du top, J'en ai visité des dizaines. Merci Maurizio. Le SPa , un peu cher, mais prestations parfaites. Le restaurant à midi , bord de la plage est bien, nourriture continentale cuisiniers Egyptiens (!) Frites pas bien cuites.... Squad dans le désert, parfaitement organisé. MERCI Centre aquatique et baignade avec les dauphins extraordinaire. Merci à l'acceuil, au personnel , aux Egyptiens. Sens du tourisme et de l'acceuil. Merci , nous reviendrons.

Very good hotel, pleasant and well trained staff, relaxing gardens. We really enjoyed our week-long stay.

Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Très bel hotel, qualité des prestations du personnel vraiment haut de gamme, personnel très sympathique et très attentionné. Les chambres luxe sont spacieuses, d'une propreté irréprochable, très confortables et avec vue magnifique sur la mer.Le buffet du petit déjeuner est tres bon et très varié. Je ne peux par contre pas donner de commentaires pour les restaurants car nous avons toujours mangé à l'extérieur. Seul bémol, je trouve le prix de la navette avec l'aéroport très cher. En résumé, je recommande cet hotel et si nous retournons a Sharm el Scheik, nous reprendrons cet hotel.

très bon rapport qualité/prix, personnel très attentionné et attentif aux demandes, chambres "de luxe" spacieuses et avec vue sur mer, buffet petit déjeuner copieux et très varié. En un mot, si nous revenons a Sharm el Scheick, nous retournerons sans hésiter dans cet hotel.Je ne peux par contre pas donner d'avis sur les restaurants car nous avons toujours mangé à l'extérieur. Seul bémol, je trouve que le prix de la navette pour l'aéroport est cher.

Hotel agréable , les pieds dansl'eau , seul bémol le bar manque siyué dans le hall de réception manque de place et d'intimité

Très belle hôtel comfortable propre a conseiller a tous le monde bonne situation par rapport au centre naama bay a refaire absolument

Tout a été parfait au Stella di mare! Vraiment un 5 étoiles! Le personnel est prévenant sans être opressant, et vraiment serviable et gentil. Restaurant tres bon. La situation de l'hotel est idéale: au calme, et a un jet de navette de la bouillonante Nama bay. Chambre top, literie super confortable. seul petit bemol: mauvaise insonorisation des chambres. des petits patins de feutrine sous les meubles nous auraient permis d'eviter d'entendre nos voisins du dessus demenager les lits dans la nuit. Mais tout le reste est ok!

Ho scelto Stella Mare per le ottime recensioni che ho letto.Ottima l'accoglienza, stanza pulita , buona palestra e spa, animazione discreta (nel senso di non invasiva). Il servizio in generale sia nei ristoranti che sulla spiaggia molto buono.Avevamo la mezza pensione e mangiavamo al ristorante Le Terrazze, la cucina forse risente un po' troppo della massiccia presenza di russi che abbiamo trovato (3^ settimana di agosto) i piatti di carne non erano eccelsi come anche i contorni di verdure. Per cenare negli altri ristoranti l'offerta prevedeva uno sconto del 10% che - considerati prezzi un po' più alti - abbiamo ritenuto non particolarmente vantaggiosa. Le due spiagge con sabbia riportata avevano forse i lettini un po' troppo vicini il che rendeva diffcoltoso 'inseguire' l'ombra che noi agognavamo. La barriera bella, se vogliamo essere pignoli è stato un po' fastidioso il via vai di motoscafi la mattina presto e il tardo pomeriggio che arrivavano a ridosso delle boe tant'è vero che il servizio bagnanti era particolarmente vigile a controllare chi si addentrava oltre le boe. In conclusione mi sento di consigliarlo anche se posso contare solo su un unica altra esperienza a Sharm.

Dit hotel is echt een aanrader. Super vriendelijk personeel, goede service, lekkere zwembaden, zit aan het strand en top snorkel plekken in de zee. Wel veel russen, maar die komen meerendeel in augustus en dat heb je ook in Spanje en Egypte. Excursies zijn wel oke, dolfijnen zwemmen was prachtig en quad rijden ook.

Hadde en flott uke i Sharm el Sheikh. Supert hotell med ideell beliggenhet. Kan absolutt anbefales!

sono stata con mio marito alllo Stella di mare tra il 24-04-11 all'1-05-11. Il tempo era ottimo circa 30 gradi con vento piacevole. L'albergo è molto curato . Noi avevamo la camera 1125 in villa davanti al mare. Il mare è splendido. Si può fare il bagno in mare e vi è un breve reef da osservare. buona la scuola di diving. Ottima la s.p.a.accessibile gratuitamente. Tutto molto curato (prati all'inglese, bella natura). L'albergo non è dispersivo e si trova vicinissimo a Nama (con navetta gratuita), a 10 minuti (in taxi) da old Sharm. Buono il servizio animazione, non pressante. Pochissimi italiani. Noi non abbiamo mangiato in albergo, la colazione era buona.L'atmosfera è un po' francese, tutto bianco. Lo raccomando.

Flott hotel og meget god service uten at det følte masete. Bra snorkleforhold i tilknytning til hotellet. Utmerket frokost ! Kunne vært flere lunsj-alternativer for reisende uten all-inclusive, men helt greit.

Jätte fint hotell! Bra service! Rekomenderas starkt.. Nära till naama bay (stan). Finns inget alls att klaga på vi var så nöjda. Helt klart topp betyg!! Rummet var rent, städningen var jätte bra. Allt var bra! Omöjligt att man inte blir nöjd där! Stort men mysigt.. lugnt vid poolerna inte alls stökigt.. Perfekt!
