The hosts were very helpful and friendly. They gave us good recommandations about restaurants and places to visit. Our room was comfortable, quite large and quiet environment. Great breakfast too !

Service was wonderful, the owners are lovely people and very accommodating. You couldn't ask for a better location. Breakfast was delicious. The wifi was a bit slow, even in the main areas, but the hotel was full while we were there, which may have burdened it. While the room was nice and spacious, the mattress was a bit hard and the pillows were a bit flat. There were extra pillows however, and we were tired, so we slept fine. I think the owners are in the process of updating the bedding so we just may not have gotten the new.

Great location, close to all. Walking distance from restaurants and train station. Hosts could not be more helpful. Wonderful English breakfast with plenty of extras.

In almost all respects we had a 5* experience in Stone Villa. The comfort and amenities provided in the room were of luxury hotel quality, the hospitality was excellent and the breakfasts were wonderful. The private car parking was a definite bonus, but the 20 min walk into the city centre was a bit longer and less scenic than we would have liked - although there is a convenient bus service. We were unfortunate that our shower didn't work the first morning (too hot and no temperature regulation - which was promptly fixed later in the day) and on the second morning at 9.00 am there was no hot water at all.

very good quality of food, very goog range of food

This is a great guesthouse with a really good location for visiting points if interest in the Chester area. Room was comfy and clean. Staff were friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was filling and tasty! Great value for money and would definitely use this guesthouse again.

The room was clean and well furnished. The service was very good. I highly recommend staying at the hotel

OWNERS ENGAGED US IN REALLY PLEASANT CONVERSATION AND KNEW PLENTY ABOUT SIGHTS/ RESAURANTS ETC NOTHING TOO MUCH TROUBLE. WONDERFUL VALE FOR MONEY. SPACIOUS MODERN ROOM AND ENSUITE. VERY CLEAN.

This exceeded our expectations. The accommodation was excellent, as was the service and breakfast.

Everything was very nice. Comfortable & fairly large room with a double & a single bed, easy chair, wardrobe with loads of hangers, plenty room to walk around. Good sized (at least 26") flat screen TV & DVD, Fridge with complementary bottles of water, Large bathroom with shower over bath & top notch mixer. We stayed 2 nights & had breakfast both days - FULL ENGLISH, bacon sausage, black pud, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast, marmalade, butter in curls (nice touch) jam, Plus a vast array of "continental style" stuff & loads of serials & fresh fruit to choose from. Very quick service. ample car parking on site too. Local area had loads of local shops, & nice pubs for good food & A decent pint.

Lovely B&B nice room, great choice of breakfasts and within easy walking of city and station. Would book again next time we go to Chester.

Good sized room with king size plus bed. Breakfast both cooked and continental well served and plentiful. We were well looked after and information both written and verbal was available.

we are not fans of B&Bs but spent a weekend here because of the good reports on trip advisor, and we were not disappointed. The room was great with modern on suite and good quality beds, the owners were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good, if we are in the area again we will make a point of staying here.

Good value stay at Stone Villa. Staff welcoming and breakfast was lovely. The layout of the room could have been better to optimise space. Everything very clean. Good quality sheets and towels but maybe a bit old. TV needs updating also. Small things really, nice stay.

albeit the stop was only overnight, the hotel was lovely....classy, and very traveller friendly. Close to restaurants and close to train station as well as car rental access. Lovely place to stay!

Owners very welcoming. Room had lots of little extras that made stay enjoyable. Best breakfast ever had so much choice and all cooked well. On bus route so no problem getting into town however lovely walk by canal if nice day. Excellent pub across road for a good meal and outside seating area. Car parking on site. Would definitely recommend to my friends and would love to stay if in area again

This is quite a nice place. The breakfast is quite good. WiFi didn't work in the room but was fine in the lobby. N

Stone Villa is a real home from home. Beautiful clean rooms with lots of little touches that made it special and more thoughtful than other places we have stayed. Most important comfortable beds for a good nights sleep and an excellent breakfast. Walking distance into Chester but more like 20-25 mins on a busy road; taxis prices varied from £3 to £5 to travel into centre. Thank you, will certainly come and stay again.

My partner and I loved this guest house. The service was excellent throughout our stay. We were shown to our room and shown around rather than just given the key. The impression was that nothing would be too much trouble. The breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked and very tasty there were lots of options, especially for vegetarians. I would highly recommend this guest house to everyone.

Plenty of parking if you have a car or walking distance from the Chester train station. About 20 minutes to walk to the center of historical Chester area (the cathedral, the rows, town hall, etc). Great breakfast- helpful staff. I had made arrangements for myself and two other couples. Everyone was happy.

when booking a 5 star B&B we weren't really sure what to expect, but the Stone Villa was really lovely. The service was great and the room was perfect. We would definately stay there again and recommend.

Nice b&b, however I did not find the bed comfortable at all, also there was never enough hot water to have a bath. Had no control over heating of the room either and it was cold at times during my three night stay. Loud music from pub near by could be off putting for some guests, went on till late. I did not find the reception very welcoming and it was a bit frustrating that there was never anyone at the front desk.

Great location and within easy walking distance of the centre.Rooms need a little tlc and updating.Peeling wallpaper and a bit old fashioned.Bed was huge which was lovely and all linen was crisp which was great.Super location and would stay again.

First visit to this hotel but it certainly won't be the last (subject to availibility) very friendly staff,spotlessly clean and good breakfast.

So much attention to detail, sweets on reception, sherry on arrival (free). Management even lent me a phone charger as I had forgotten mine. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice, and on the last day there was a power cut but we still got a hot cooked breakfast. Lots of little things in bedroom that made it special like tissues, cotton wool balls nail clippers, tweezers, iron/ironing board, radio alarm clock, flat screen TV, water in fridge, and a really good choice of tea and coffee etc. Bath toiletries were very good too. Location was a bit far out for walking into city centre but we managed but it would have been a miserable walk in the rain. All in all good value for money and would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Stone Villa in Chester The manager made us feel very welcome and gave us the information we needed to get around Chester. The breakfast provided was a Great way to start the day. It was our first B&B and my wife and I and our teenage girls enjoyed it there.

Complimentary sherry was a nice unexpected touch. Unfortunately had to leave early due to my wife's illness. Very happy until that happened.

I was met at the hotel with a warm welcome and shown to a spacious room with en-suite. The room has all the amenities you would expect and more. Breakfast was great and service was also excellent. I would definitely re-visit this hotel!!

Lovely spot close to city centre pleasant walk into Chester City centre. Bed lovely , food great Only downside was a doorknob which was hanging off, held in place by literally one screw, the door is bathroom entry door which was so obvious that it must surely have been seen by persons on routine cleaning and maintenance? What a pity that this was one of the first things to greet us once in the allocated room. Overall that aside a lovely place and the manager was pleasant and sincere. Doorknob taken out of the equation a pleasure to have stayed there. Wonderful and wholly recommended by myself and my partner.

Lovely guest house, ideal for walking into the town centre. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed for an extended weekend break. The breakfast was amazing, and more than you would expect with friendly, personal service. Food was excellent, cooked and presented well and lovely and hot. Would recommend to anyone wanting to be a tourist in Chester - just a short walk to the main city centre.

Just returned from a long weekend in Chester staying at Stone Villa Guest House.I have to say we could not fault it.The rooms were very comfortable and had everything you could need,even a huge TV.and the breakfast was the best weve ever had at a Hotel.Everyone was so friendly and welcoming.We can certainly recommend staying here.

This is a cute B&B that I thought we'd enjoy but I was disappointed. It is run by pleasant people and the service at check-in and breakfast was great. The rooms are old and in need of updating - shower too hot (couldn't get cold water), toilet slow to flush, faded bedspreads and carpet and no A/C. Public areas look a little nicer than rooms. It is in a residential neighborhood by nothing else - hope you have a car!

Excellent in every way, Stone Villa went the extra mile.

Our room was very well appointed and the staff were so helpful. The breakfast was 5 star as was every part of our stay there. Betty the manager wassuch a pleasure to deall with and my husband and myself and our 2 children (13 and 15years) and we would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Chester and would stay here again definitely. Thanks again to Betty and all the staff at Stone villa again. We will return

Loved the coconut scented soap and lotion in the bathroom. The decanter of sherry provided for guests was a lovely touch. Breakfast and service, both great. Would definitely stay at the Stone Villa Guest House again. It is about a 10 minute walk to town, but we like to walk so that was not a problem. There was a horserace going on when we were in Chester so with the town being quite noisy, being a bit outside, in a quiet neighborhood, was an advantage.

- España. Hotel pequeño y familiar. Muy comodo, acojledor, limpio. El Personal sobre todo el Manager persona estupenda. agradable. Desayuno a la carta buenisimo, habitacion acogedora y limpia. Lo recomiendo y volveria.

Stone Villa ligger bare noen min gangavstand fra togstasjonen og ca 15 min fra sentrum. Hyggelig betjening og sjarmerende rom. Badet har flislagt gulv, som er så mye mer innbydende enn det vanlige teppet! Frokosten var en positiv overraskelse, med blant annet frisk oppskåret frukt og grovt brød. Anbefales!

Ottimo hotel! Le camere sono pulite, spaziose (anche per 4 persone) e confortevoli (sono presenti vari accessori dal frigo con bottiglie di acqua fresca a disposizione agli ottimi biscotti da the al set da manicure!). Il personale è molto disponibile. La colazione è estremamente abbondante e sempre varia (ottimi i funghi al burro e la frutta fresca). La zona circostante è vivace, ci sono tutti i servizi, es. lavanderia self, piccoli supermercati, e sono presenti diversi pub anche economici in cui cenare.
