Good value for money, we originally were booked in a pool view room however we had a noise issue with a water pump in the bathroom, they immediately up graded us to a sea view room. The staff were friendly and engaging, the pool area is fantastic, the breakfast was excellent plenty of choice. The tour desk on site was open all day staff were very helpful and friendly. I will have no hesitation to return to this resort in the future.

It was a great experience for the whole family consisting of old and young. Pool was fantastic. Location was terrific. The boiled rice was tasty. The resort had make stroller easy to access. Love the alfresco concept. Room was spacious but a bit old with the furniture. It would be nice if some study table or a standing lamp be around to make it more more complete. Rocking chairs at the balcony is a plus. Overall, everybody enjoyed the stay!

We had to move rooms in the first 20 minutes of our stay as the room had mould and had a damp musty smell , and had no bathroom bench for toiletries etc. once we moved rooms that was then satisfactory.

a friend and i had a pool access room each at this hotel, the rooms are clean and quite big, how ever the furniture on the balconies and around the pool badly needs replacing as it looks quite old stained and worn the chrome frame are going rusty. it was a bit over priced for the pool access rooms. and when we checked we were told that if anyone else came to stay in our rooms that we would have to pay an extra 1000 baht approx $30 so considering we paid for two people in each room and only had one in each i was very annoyed as we have some thai friends we thought could come and stay with us for a night or two. as they did at the novotel which was ok for them to do there.

loved the location the room was spacious and super clean would stay here again the beach is right across the hotel

Stayed in baan laimai for 3 nights and overall it was a pleasant experience. Location was superb and pool was great. Rooms were pretty good for the price we paid for. Service on the other hand was rather lacking in some members of the reception as they were hostile when it came to stuff other than checking in and checking out.

Great location, right beside all the action. Perfect for small vacation but don't expect to relax at night. Beach just across street and huge pool. Nice hotel overall.

Fantastic - central to everything - great pools, great food, great staff - winner!

The motel is in a very good location straight across the road from the beach, and close to all night life. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a good band on every night. I had a direct pool access room which was very clean and well maintained.

Would recomend this hotel to anyone. The location is perfect walking distance to everything, staff very nice and helpful. Would stay here again...

The pool is fanastic and location to the beach and bars is a bonus.

After booking on hotels.com, it took the hotel over an hour to find our stay. In addition our room, had no window and was located behind the reception desk, where you could hear the phone ringing all day and night, as well as the music from the restaurant. In addition, our room did not have hot water, and the ac did not really work.

Room a bit old & needs to have new bathroom fittings and outdoor area furniture updatedas we had pool access room. But pool is nice. Noisy at night due to live band every night & breakfast very average compared to what I've had elsewhere.

We had some trouble with the shower and air conditioning at the beginning of the trip. We had to switch rooms twice. But they up graded us to a nicer room with a view, which was nice. The breakfast wasn't included but we ate there twice and it was delicious. Dinner was a bit pricey, but great food. The elevator was not in service yet, as it's a new building. That would have been nice to know prior, as we were on the top floor. However they did make me a delicious birthday cake on my special day, a nice personal touch.

Very slow check in, and even slower check out, other then that nice hotel!

Front desk was very slow at check and check out process. Took 1 hour to get checked in then 20 minutes to check out. They needed more employees who know how to run a front desk.

This hotel has some pros and cons... But for the price it is a great stay. All the reviews about the front desk are true. They are slow and their English isn't the best. They do they their best though. Most of their stuff is done with paper as opposed to on a computer so that slows down the process. The rooms are nice. Ours was muggy and we couldnt get the temperature to regulate right. It also had a musty smell. However we were out and about so much it wasn't a huge issue. The pool and poolside bar are absolutely amazing. It was one of the biggest lagoon pools I have ever seen at a hotel. The water was super clean. The location of the hotel is perfect. Across the street from the beach and about a five minute walk to Baglan street.

I would not send my dog to stay at this hotel! The location is great but the staff at this place was horrible! It will take you over an hour to get checked in, and do not expect housekeeping unless you work out a bribe with an individual maid. Despite repeated calls to the reception area I could never get my room cleaned even after 3 days. Their english language proficiency is almost non existent, which is apalling considering most of their guests are foreign. If you are content with no service and being treated like an animal than book away!

Some great things about this hotel - fantastic restaurant food, the service and cocktails at the bar, great live band at night, the beautiful pool and the great location. There were some things that let down this hotel though. The old rooms were not nice, (the new side was ok), but we had a leaking aircon in the room, the beds were like concrete, the reception was unorganised so check out, and getting help took a long time, the service charges were expensive ( a small amount of clothes washed cost about $70 Australian) The hotel offered storage of our bags after check out until we had to leave for the airport and a shower room for freshening up before our flight, which we thought was great, until we got a key to a used, filthy room with rubbish everywhere. Not what we were expecting. A staff member broke the handle on our suitcase and we asked for the cost to be rectified, which it was by reception, but a staff member was upset about the money, (we presumed it is deducted from their pay) and he threatened my husband if we didn't give it back! We thankfully had the support of a staff member who knew us and he agreed to deal with the situation for us (we were on the way to the airport!) Overall I would say to eat at the restaurant, enjoy the great cocktails at the bar and the band at night, take a swim in the pool but we won't be staying here next time.

If you are looking for a great pool in great location, this is it. But if you want a decent room, you would need to pay more and take the room with pool view as the other buildings are old with bad bathrooms whereas the poolview rooms are brand new. The service was poor both in reception and restaurant and also very slow in the restaurant. The restaurant is also very expensive for Thai restaurant but the location is so great that there are many other places to go near by. The pool guys very happy and had a great service.

Although location was great and access to the beach (right cross the street) there, the hotel staff were mostly rude and not very well trained. They did not care about customer's concerns (we noticed many people complaining) given they are on a hot location and always on demand by tourist. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you care about service and would like your wake up calls actually happen and/or need soap and shampoo in the rooms refilled!!!

If you want just relax or party this is it. Great location, seconds from the beach or should I say right on the beach. Great pool area and Resturant. The service at the pool is very very slow, so if you want something get it yourself from the bar. The room are very spacious, clean and comfortable. For the money for sure I will be back next year if they don't raise their prices, go for it!!

The hotel was big and very nearly the beach. We stay at the room with pool view and it was so fine.

The cleaning of the rooms was very late at 4 o clock. Twice we had to ask for clean towels and free water. There was no advising where to phone to the reception. The furniture was a good bed and a sofa but no chairs. The chairs at the balkon was very nice but a small table was missing. When we left you wanted to charge us for 2 water. It is not good enought for a luxery room. We had not taken anything from the bar. No signs in the room in case of fire. All together a very good hotel. But there are things you can do better. Your staff in the pool bars plays terrible music very high not music for elder people. The hotel is under construction in the future I am sure it is going to be a very luxery hotel

This happened a few times in Thailand. Reserved a double bed and when we arrived they told us they only had train beds. We ended up switching to a room with a double on day two. Then on the third day they upgraded us to a poolside room but when we moved in it was back to twins. I didn't even bother to complain, just moved the beds together. We didn't want to move 4 times in three days. Wifi is fairly fast. Breakfast buffet is ok. Location is across from beach. Patong is over developed and there are nicer beaches on Phuket.

We arrived at Baan Laimai due to our previous hotel destination being totally unacceptable. My wife and I had 1 Deluxe Pool view room on the 6th floor and our 16 yr old daughter had another all to herself. Baan Laimai has a great location right on the beach and close to all the hotspots of Patong. Very nice rooms and initially great service from reception. Breakfast was really pleasant and a great variety most days. Now comes the "but", our rooms were separated by another room that happened to contain at one count 12 or more youngish guys that as it turns out were booked into rooms on either side of us as well as other rooms elsewhere in the hotel. Their idea of the right time to START partying in the room was 2.00 in the morning, and continue all night. Initially I politely asked them to tone it down, which lasted 10 mins. The next one was a little more persuasive, 20 mins. Rang hotel reception, they had very little effect at all, so threatened to ring the police due to the unmistakable odour in the air, this worked the 1st night. But this continued for 6 nights. Apparently another party had already booked out due to their behavior, and reception were not very helpful. WE were offered rooms hidden away around the corner to which we declined, so with some more persuasion and ear plugs we survived. Nice hotel, check your neighbours first though.

The hotel location is excellent, staff were very nice and helpful. Rooms are big and spacious. Overall stay was fantastic

cordial staff, excellent food., great location right on the beach. the pool was nice and big and had a great swimup bar. they where putting the last touches on the new part of the hotel, which will be open soon. would recommend this hotel.

Sole Traveller, I have stayed at numerous hotels in Patong & this is by far my favourite, I holiday every three months & would no longer consider alternate accommodation. The rooms are clean, Staff friendly & helpful, breakfast caters for all tastes, cross the road & your on the beach, Oh & did I mention how helpful, friendly & courteous the staff are. Thanks Bann Laimai, see you in a few weeks

The hotel is right across the street from the beach and there is ALL kinds of shopping and restaurants all around. Great walking distance to both. The beds were hard as a rock! The double beds are like getting a super single so if you need to share a bed then I do not recommend staying here. My husband had to share the bed with our youngest daughter and my older daughter slept on a cot that supposedly was more comfortable then the bed. The room is small with some sort of in-closed patio. The windows have no curtains so forget about it if you want to sleep in. NO good nights sleep here. The entire pool area was under construction so NO swimming. Thank goodness we only stayed one night here and was out of there by 12 pm. Cant tell you how the food was-we were suppose to have a free breakfast but slept past that since we got in so late. Maybe this is the place for some young party kids that just need a place to crash where all the action is but NOT for families or older people who prefer comfort and amenities as well.

리조트 완전 깨끗합니다. 비치 바로앞이라 전망도 최고인듯...다만 체이인 체크아웃이 좀 오래걸리네요. 이용하는 사람이 넘치게 많아서 번잡스러운것도 없으며 조식도 괜찬았습니다.

There is a nice swimming pool & the beach is infront of the hotel.

临海，周边环境很热闹，也很方便。酒店设施很不错，还免费提供你出行的编织挎包，唯一不足就是我们明明定了有无线网络的房间，到了那里却没有，要在公共区域上网有些麻烦。其他都不错。

Det var andet år i træk vi har booket dette hotel, alt ialt et dejligt hotel med en fantastisk lækker morgen buffet. Og hotellet ligger et super godt sted, tæt på alt. Måske lidt dyrt at leje.
