Cliff House B&B & The Moorings Apartments - Guest house - نيوكواي

Location of this hotel is excellent on the clifftops above the bay. View from the room was stunning. Short walk into town or to beach. We parked right outside on the road as it's still early on in the year. Room was perfectly fine and clean, our room had an ensuite. We (late 20's couple) were on a trip around the coast and staying in a different town and B&B every night for 7 nights - no complaints here. The staff were very friendly and went out of thier way to see that we had everything we needed. Breakfast was just right - again looking out over the bay. Would have liked to stay longer.

Over rated and over priced. It is really a backpackers accommodation.

Lovely lady in charge we had a room booked but it was at the top which was difficult for my mum. they moved us next door to a great apartment on the ground floor at no extra charge. GREAT views across watergate bay. It is in the city centre and just up from the first of the night clubs. We heard no noise though. We are very choosy in our accommodation . It MUST be clean and SAFE first and foremost. We would definitely stay there again. Well done ladies and thanks. We walked in to find a couple booking for next year. I think this says it all.

This is the second time that we have stayed at the Cliff House and would go back again tomorrow, it literally is like a home from home, comfortable rooms and atmosphere, the owner is the nicest person that you could wish to meet. Nothing was too much for her and her warm and friendly smile greeting you every day was a great start to the day. Just a short walk from where we were clearing my mothers flat, and so central that they are only a few yards from pubs, restaurants and the beach, what more could you ask for. The breakfast cooked to order every morning, it was wonderful.

My daughter and I stayed 8 days and found the hotel very comfortable and the owners really nice down to earth people. The breakfasts were wonderful and we really enjoyed getting up early to get to breakfast. The owners were really kind and understanding of the reason that we were visiting, they made the ordeal that my daughter and I had to face a little easier to bear with their kind words and actions. Really enjoyed the stay.

We had a nice stay during Easter.. however, the hot water was not working properly. The hotel staff were very co-ordinating and did whatever they could to help us..

Not impressed with vacuum cleaner in dining room, toilet roll on floor as no holder provided and the noisiest bed ever!! Location very noisy with club revellers in early hours. Parking facilities rubbish. However the landlady was nice person doing the best of a bad job.

The hotel was in a perfect location, right in the centre yet not noisy - especially if you get to have a beach facing room! Lovely staff and food, clean rooms. Nothing negative to say!

very centrally located hotel,2 minutes away from the beach and old harbor,we were lucky to get a room with sea view,which was just breathtaking....the only downside was lack of hooks or shelves in the bathroom,otherwise -perfect!!!!Big thank you to Steve for warm welcome and amazing breakfast in the morning!!!!!

The room was convenient, the owners were very nice, I would go there again.

our room had sea views. very clean. the owners very helpful and friendly. we would stay there again. also the room rate was very good.

Ikke alle rommene har toalett på rommet, men eget toalett ute i gangen. Ikke verdens beste dusj og noen knagger å henge klær på inne på toalettene hadde også vært greit. Service er god, typisk famillie B'n'B hvor "alle" hjelper til og gjør oppholdet trivelig. Noen av rommene har dessuten fantastisk utsikt mot strendene. Kort vei til det meste i en liten by. Parkering gjøres rundt hundre meter unna på en offentlig parkeringsplass.

Bra förutom att duschen inte fungerade tillfredsställande.

Das Cliff House B&B ist in einem Reihenhaus an einer belebten Straße in Newquay untergebracht. Der Stadtstrand ist in zehn Minuten zu Fuß vom Cliff aus zu erreichen. Großartige Strände befinden sich westlich des Golfclubs (Fistral Beach) und an den Bedruthian Steps, ca. 20 min. nördlich von Newquay. Es befinden sich Surfgeschäfte, Bistros und Pubs in unmittelbarer Nähe des B&B, leider auch mit entsprechender Geräuschkulisse. Das B&B hat keinen eigenen Parkplatz. Auch zum Aus- und Einladen des Gepäcks gibt es keinen Ort. Östlich des B&B an der Fore St. und Sydney Rd. und am nördlichen Ende der Fore St. (am Berg) sind kostenpflichtige (Nacht-)Parkplätze. Das Gebäude ist der Hauptstraße zugewandt, verfügt aber teilweise auch über einen Meerblick in die Bucht von Newquay. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber mit eigenem Bad und enthielt einen Flachbildfernseher, einen Wasserkocher etc. Das Doppelbed (1,20m) war leider etwas zu schmal. Newquay ist ein Urlaubsort v.a. für Teenager und Mitglieder der Surfer-Gemeinschaft. Für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise ist Newquay in Ordnung. Die Inhaberin des B&B war sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Sie ermöglichte, dass wir unser Frühstück bereits um 7 Uhr, statt um 9 Uhr haben konnten.

Typisk B&B, dejlig atmosfære, god mad og særdeles venligt personale. Et sted man har lyst til at komme tilbage til og anbefale til andre.

Nydelig utsikt og fint rom, men jeg bestilte dette rommet fordi de lovte meg ( på nettsiden) gratis skyss til flyplassen, noe som ikke var til felle.
