Hacienda Del Caribe by Encanto - شاطئ كارمن

Hotel is so disappointing. Needs renovation urgently. Be careful with the Encanto properties, they will mislead you to their time share and keep you harrassed until you sign with them. Stay away from all the Encanto hotels if you want to enjoy your vacation.

The best thing I can say about this hotel is that the location is very good. Other than that, I was disappointed for the following reasons: When we checked into the room, there were no towels. The lock on the safe didn't work. The beds were too hard. There was no closet or drawers to put clothes in. After staying one night, we checked out and canceled our reservations. There was NO WAY we wanted to stay any longer.

A great location, a block from the beach,cute small hotel, but the mattress was very hard, stayed 4 nights, but woke up sore from the hard mattress. Good tip if you walk to 10th ave and go north a few blocks great little restaurant on left hand side, on a crossing intersction, restuarant is not on 10th street but on the crossing street, forgot the name of it, but it has a taco cart in front of it, (a hole in the wall) but great food, breakfast omlet for 30 pesos, (2.50 usd)Playa del Carmen way better than Cancun.

The hotel is in a good location and our room was clean. The bathroom window was broken so we couldn't air condition that room. There was only 1 small light for the entire bedroom so it was very dark. Staff were nice and helpful but would not change our room. Worst of all was the really loud guests using the courtyard pool until midnight and then pounding loudly on the door of a guest room at 4:20 am. next morning. It was impossible to sleep that night. This hotel used to be charming....

We have stayed in Playa many times and this hotel was by far the dirtiest and most unpleasant stay we have had. The safe didnt work and the staff simply didn't care. We dint have any towels in the room and a bright hotel light blazed all night, we has to hang a bed sheet over the internal window to sleep. We asked for another room and were told none were available but it was clear many were, the staff just didn't want to be bothered!!! DONT STAY HERE!!! Many better options in Playa!!! It's not worth it!!!!

Good hotel great location next to the bus station and the beach and rigth at the beginning of the long street with restaurants and shops. The hotel is sweet and the rooms are nice and the pool however small is perfect for a dip in the heat. Lots of cozy hang out places at the hotel and great service from the staff. I would stay here again. The walls are thin so talk outside can get loud, but bring earplugs if that bothers you. For the price this hotel is great!

We enjoyed our time in Playa largely because of the the location of this hotel. The hotel is well kept and fun. Felt safe and all our requests looked after.

Awesome location. The best deal for the money we spent out of the hotels we have stayed at in Playa. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The bathroom was nice and big. The hotel gave each of us a free water bottle each day, which was one less that we had to buy. The only compliant is that the bed was hard. I would stay here again, though

Only stayed 3-4 nights here but wished I would have found this nice little hotel sooner. After spending two weeks in Playa Del Carmen, I happened upon this cute little gem right off of 5th Ave and only 1 1/2 blocks from the beach. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated with fancy, artistic headboards and bright Mexican colors. The second room I stayed in even had a domed brick ceiling complete with chandelier. The front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Although there was some construction going on right next door, I was barely able to hear it with the air conditioner on. I will definitely be staying here again upon my return to PDC. Also it is very close to the ADO bus terminal for easy access to the airport.

If you want a cute, inexpensive, convenient, well presented & completely mexican hotel experience, this is it... The rooms are huge, the balcony gorgeous (as is the view of the caribbean), the bed was comfy, the chandelier under the domed skylight was AMAZING & totally unexpected.. Gorgeous little hotel in the best location you could ask for in Playa. 2 minutes walk from the main bus terminal on 5th Ave, 2 minutes walk to the beach, right in the middle of all the action & was not expensive at all. There was a bit of a leak in the bathroom sink/basin & the place is not new, but it's just lovely. If you're looking for somewhere beautiful & beautifully mexican to crash, this little hotel would be my first choice again. Loved it.,

We stayed at Hacienda del Caribe in late June/early July 2011. The hotel was great. All the staff members were friendly and kind. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a very attractive front entrance and lobby. Every day we saw tourists taking pictures of the hotel because of its charming appearance. Wifi is included and worked well. The pool is very small but sufficient. The beach is only a block and a half away, truly making the hotel location amazing. The ADO bus station is only a block away as well, which is an inexpensive way to travel from CUN airport. The organic bath products in the rooms smell amazing, and the beds are a bit hard which is normal in Mexico. The rooms have televisions with a bunch of channels (including VH1 clasico--awesome!). AC units worked well. The hotel is easily walkable to the club district, but far enough away to be quiet. They close the gate at night for security, but there is 24 hour staff the let guests in and out as needed. We will definitely stay again.

I give this hotel a rating of 3 1/2 stars. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but for what I paid to be right around the corner from Quinta Avenida and the beach it's more-than adequate. The pool is kinda' funny. I swore I saw a diving board, but it could've been for a small kid/child. But, yes 2 people get in and it would be crowded. Heheh. So, it's not a pool in the traditional hotel sense. I read that the upper floors were better, so I immediately requested that. It's great if you know or attempt Spanish because naturally you'll get what you want a little quicker. The hotel is directly around the corner from 5th Avenue. I paid a fair rate, so I felt like for the accommodations the price was fair. The towels are stained, the bathroom is (well.. honestly) like your bathroom at home with a couple bad spots. I read about the hot water, so I put it on 5-10 minutes before I got in; it was hot. I was satisfied. The best thing for me is that The ADO bus station is around the corner by 1 minute, and safely inside the station there is a Santander ATM... and since my bank (USA) doesn't charge me to use this ATM it's a great safe location relative to the Hacienda hotel. The fan gets loud, but if you use that and the television you can adequately "cover up" any noises you plan on making or hearing (heheh). So speaking of the sheets there was a stain on the covers, but we're all adults we know what that's about, possibly. Or maybe not... but I had two twin beds, so I just used the other one and doubled up on my pillows from the extra bed. I didn't eat breakfast, so I can't comment about that, but there's a great restaurant about 2-3 blocks away... there was live music (música viva) and the guys carry the drinks to your table by balancing it on their head... so again the hotel is in a great location. If you are used to staying in 4- or 5-star hotels, I would not recommend this hotel as your first option. This hotel is great for it's location and boutique-style residence room

This hotel is right around the corner from the main street (no cars) that has blocks and blocks of souvineer shopping and eating places. It is a great location. the hotel is a little older but is very beautiful architecturally. Everything a 3 star hotel should be. We were there in June and the rate was dropped 60%. For the price, location, and (mostly) cleanliness of the hotel, a bargain.

A budget hotel as good as this was beyond my expectation. Hacienda del caribe is well located in a quite street that is very close to all that you need at Playa del Carmen. A few steps away from the the bustling 5th avenue, 5 minutes to the beach and 2 minutes to the bus station by walk. I will be back there soon enough.

The hotel is well situated and only a few steps away from Avenida 5. We booked the room and specifically requested a king size bed by calling the hotel. Upon arrival, I was told that the only available room had two queen beds. This was irritating as I had called and confirmed that we would be able to get a king size bed and that our late arrival would not be a problem. There is no parking for the hotel so if you have a car it makes things more complicated as parking is difficult to find in Playa. We had to run the shower for about 15 minutes with the hot water knob turned all the way in order to get the hot water running. Wifi was not working when we were there. There is a pool but it is very small.

Great service, people was very friendly. Good rooms and hotel facilities overall. Very close to the beach and the 5th avenue. Great stay with a full mexican experience.

Good rooms, near to main drag and close to the beach. Overall I would certainly recommend. we had a great couple of days there.

The hotel has a great location, the surroundings are quiet and nice. Rooms very clean. We stayed 3 in the hotel room and there was not enough towels and hangers, we had to ask for that more than twice. The service was very lousy, I had an accident with a glass and was told to pay for the glass. One morning we had to go another hotel in order to get our breakfast and there was no information before we asked in the reception. Too expensive compared to service.

The hotel was nice, staff waited for our late arrival. beds were comfy, rooms very large. AC stopped working and was not repaired for 2 days. Pillows were bumpy, towels were nice and big but in tatters, grey instead of white with stains all over them. Plenty of hot water, good pressure. Hotel manager was very rude and unaccomodating. Coffee was expensive and undrinkable, the cooked breakfast was aweful

We arrived very late, as we got screwed over by Aero Mexico, but that's another story. The hotel reception was still open when we arrived at 2:00am and helped us to our room which overlooked the courtyard. At first the smell on cleaning products was a little overwhelming, but at least we were able to get so sleep after a hell of a flight. In the morning we went and checked out Playa del Carmen, a very easy thing to do from this hotel as the location is great, very close to the beach and to ave 5 the main pedestrian street.

Our stay at Hacienda was at the end of our trip to Belize, and we had four days before flying home from Cancun. This hotel is situated very close to both the new and old ADO bus station, in fact it is round the corner from one of them. Hacienda was very welcoming after a long journey from Belize, we stayed three nights and enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing room that was replenished with fresh towels and toiletry products (soap, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner, and bottles of water), and cleaned each day. The style is very Mexican, with bright colours and terracotta walls and paved floors. One block from the beach front and far enough away from the main street, it is sheltered from the hustle and bustle of other tourists, but at the same time within walking distance.

NOT a party hotel but a cute, very Mexican/Spanish flavor style hotel with quiet atmosphere. Perfect for me! And what a great deal on a room right off 5th. Clean, huge rooms with working A/C and fan. Small TV and we couldn't find a remote, but I wasn't there to hang out in the room! The pool is MUCH smaller than it looks in the pictures but I wasn't there to hang out in the pool either. Walk to the beach is so close. Great food and shopping close by. There was construction going on behind the hotel but it didn't start until later in the morning and we were able to sleep through. A/C was old and dripped a bit but wasn't a big deal to me. Clean bathroom with organic products and vegetable soaps. Tile everywhere and very comfortable beds with clean thick cotton sheets. Cute little balcony in front. Hotel gate is locked at night but a night watchman will let you in. Feels secure and safe and front desk was happy to help.

esta en muy buena ubicación, desafortunadamente están arreglando la calle y cuesta para llegar hasta el hotel en coche, no tiene estacionamiento, ni elevador., aunque está en la zona mas cercana a la 5 avenida y a la playa.

Cette chaîne d'hôtels possède 2 hôtels du même nom à Playa del carmen, dont un que je connaissais déjà, par confusion j'ai réservé le mauvais, ce qui déjà est à la limite de l'arnaque. Le deuxième hôtel est situé dans une zone de réfection de voirie importante et difficile d'accès (plus de 10 mn de marche avec les valises sur des chemins défoncés). Dans la chambre proposée les WC ne fonctionnaient pas et les rideaux étaient cassés, on nous a proposé une autre chambre très humide et avec une odeur tenace de moisissure et de tabac froid. Total: nous avons changé d'hôtel et trouvé un autre correct et moins cher.

O Hotel é excelente, os funcionários são muito simpáticos, o quarto foi super espaçoso e a decoração é muito colorida (uma graça). A localização é ótima, porque fica na Calle 2 a poucos passos da 5ª Avenida. E também está muito perto da rodoviária.

Nära till allt i Playa del Carmen. Hade rum inåt gården och hade då inte några besvär av störande ljud. Först ett rum i bottenvåningen som luktade jättemycket mögel. Fick dock utan problem byta till ett rum ett par trappor upp och detta rum var helt utan anmärkning.

Muy cerca de todo: playa,tiendas,restaurantes y estacion de buses...muy comodo aunque estaban remodelando restaurant. Sin duda volveria una proxima vez

Hotel tres tres bien placee.

No tenían habitaciones disponibles esa noche en el hotel reservado, y nos ofrecieron una habitaciòn de un hotel el Azul de la misma cadena by encanto, la verdad fueron muy amables pero la calidad del servicio era limitada no solo por ser económico ese hotel sino porque es muy engorroso ir de puerta en puerta peregrinando hasta encontrar alojamiento, por lo general en una habitaciòn màs modesta de lo que ya en sì representaba el limitado presupuesto para cubrirla.

酒店離ADO車站及去Tulum的 shuttle 都很近，離海灘及第五大街只有 1至2 個街囗，建筑很有墨西哥特色，可惜服務跟不上，竟沒有毛巾，通知前台，說聯絡不到待應生，等了幾個小時都沒有，最後從其他房間找到兩條沙灘巾。

TRES BIEN SITUE ET CENTRAL A PLAYA DEL CARMEN. PROCHE DE LA PLAGE, DES CLUBS DE PLONGEE. UNE ETAPE DETENTE ET SANS SOUCIS

Hotel muito bem localizado e quarto amplo. Entretanto, a iluminação do quarto era péssima e o banheiro tinha cheiro de esgoto. Quanto ao serviço, não recomendo o café da manhã. Há opções melhores no entorno.

L'hotel si trova praticamente sulla quinta avenue per cui è tutto lì: vita notturna, negozi, spiaggia, battello per l'isla Cozumel. La stazione dell'ADO è a 2 min a piedi! Le condizioni generali dell'hotel sono buone, estremamente grazioso ed estivo. Il personale a volte dimenticava le richieste che gli si facevano e bisognava tornarci e negli ultimi due giorni è mancata l'acqua calda ma nel complesso lo reputo un'ottima scelta.
