Casa Bocobo Hotel - مانيلا

We stayed in Casa Bocobo for 2 nights before leaving for Palawan. We had been travelling for nearly 24 hours when we arrived and it was so nice to check in to a clean, comfortable room. We were so tired from travelling that we did not want to do much, so the hotel's proximity to Robinson's mall was brilliant as there was a cinema and lots of food choices there. The area around the hotel is not great but it is definitely safe. Just be as careful as you would be in any big city. The hotel also kindly stored a bag for us (free of charge) for nearly 2 weeks while we were island hopping which was an absolute lifesaver for us. I would very much recommend Casa Bocobo to anyone travelling to Manila

what i like is the cleanliness of this hotel and friendly staff and good location and very affordable....iam looking forward to stay here next time around when i come home for holiday here in Pinas

No complaints yet again, comfortable clean rooms, polite friendly staff, good food, would be hard to beat at this price level, I will definately be staying here again.

I arrived late and got upgraded. Good location in ermmita. well organized cleaning staff. I like the buffrett breakfast. I would stay there again. I am just surprised at the amount of tax attached to the cost of the room.

If you want a completly awful, uncomfortable stay at a hotel then stay at this hotel. They put me on the 3rd floor and No elevator. The staff was rude and unwilling to help. It's just not worth it. There are too many hotels that offer so much more for the price. The staff being rude and uncaring is the biggest concern. They must think they are something else. It was apparent they are not in the hospitality business. I'll never return and I recommend others to avoid this hotel at all costs!

positive side: Stayed here for 8 nights, Staff are courteous and helpful, breakfast has different variety everyday, room & toilet are clean and the hallway are constantly cleaned even in the middle of the night. affordable rates, I used hotel.com to book this hotel. Location are good almost everything is within reach. negative side: 1. housekeeping staff seems to be trainees, though they give their best to clean the room, but still there are some flaws, the lamp shade are dusty, There is no supervisor checking the room after it was cleaned. 2. I did mention Staff are courteous except one guy in the cafe bar (sometimes his in-charge of the cash register). I had observed that he enthusiastically greet foreigners entering and leaving the cafe, but for the local visitor (pinoy visitor) he turns his face back, which is not good for local guest. 3. Rooms need some impovement on sound proofing, I can hear the door opening and closing from front & next door which made random sleep disturbanced on our side. All in all still 4 star, negatives are superceded by courteos & helpful staff. Special mention to all Security staffs with their unwavering service, they always help me get a taxi, even @ 3 o'clock in the morning going back to airport.

A very good hotel for the money, conveniently located in Ermita. This was well situated if your priority is to see the Rizal Park/ Intramuros area of the city and this hotel is conveniently located for these attractions either by walking of a short taxi ride away. The rooms above the front entrance overlooking the street suffer from a little traffic noise, the ones at the back should be quieter. The included Filipino buffet breakfast was excellent.

We loved this hotel and especially the staff. Very friendly and almost too nice sometimes. The room was very clean and nice and definitely worht every peso of the low price we paid!

Hard to find anything better for the price. Staff is very friendly, rooms are basic but very clean, the hotel is safe, utilities work, the food is good and it is well located. What else do you want ?

Good: 1. Good customer service, front desk staff friendly and helpful 2. Location of hotel near rizal park, robinsons, and a short walk to intramuros. 3. Room is clean, a big team of housekeeping staff cleaning rooms in the morning 4. Buffet breakfast is okay but choice is limited Bad: 1. The standard room is really small 2. Room window facing the street, so very noisy in the night. Request for back facing room during booking, but was not available. 3. No fridge, therefore cannot have cold beverage in the room

This was a pleasing hotel w/ free breakfast each day! Only had 1 concern during my stay, but it was quickly addressed by staff! I wll stay here again during my nxt visit to Manila!

The hotel room was very nice but I think an extension is being built on & unfortunately it was right outside my room,so they should not use this part of the hotel during this time.It clearly states there is a safe in every room but there was none in mine.I asked for a safe at reception.I was told he would get one but it never came.I had to bring everything with me including my passport due to no safe so this was a definite disadvantage to my holiday.The hotel is also a bit of a distance away from the centre of the city.They charge $13 for Airport service too with their own car each way which is quite expensive as a taxi is only $9 each way.

Excellent value, nice room, friendly polite staff, good breakfast which is varied every day, will definately stay there again.

We had a nice stay in this hotel. The staff let us do the early check in at 10 am and we had a great nap after a long night flight. The hotel locates in the centre of Manila and about 10 mins walk to Robinson's mall. The quality of buffet breakfast was good and had many choices between western meals and filipino food.

Not the best patr of town, but it is safe. Not to close to the airport, but near the mall. Great people the staff couldent be better.

Casa Bocobo is a very Small 55 +or- room hotel located in Malate just a few blocks from the US Embassy, Robinsons Mall for shopping, many Great Restaurants and Great Nite Clubs, and lots of things to see and do and just a stones throw from Manila Bay. Ive stayed at DOZENS of Hotels in Manila and other locations in the Philippines over the past 11 years and many times for long periods and NOTHING beats Casa Bocabo for PRICE and SERVICE...! They even have a NEW 10 room addition and the rooms are AWESOME...! Im a builder from Tucson Arizona and one of the NEW rooms impressed me so much with a rotating wall design between the living area and the sleeping area that Im steeling that idea and Im gunna use it in my developments back home...! There BEST NEW ROOM is a "Honey Moon Suite" (only ONE available) and it has a Loft Bedroom overlooking the living room/kitchenette area with ALL the amenities you may need. Filipinos are known for their Friendly Hospitality, Customer Service and their Smile, and I'll tell you this......, "NOBODY.....! I MEAN NOBODY.....! Beats Casa Bocobo for ALL 3......!

This hotel is located very very strategically, just a walking distance from Rizal Park, Ermita and Malate districts and Roxas Blvd where you could find yourself enjoying winds and sights of Manila Bay. Located in a very close to Manila City main intersections, it offers a teasing distance to visit Intramuros, Binondo chinatown, Ocean Park, Pasig river sights, or even the Malacanang Palace complex. No worries for the transportation as the district is safe and taxis are easily found. It offer descent list of foods for breakfast or lunch or even just a snack and coffee time in their small but functional cafe Bocobo, but a more careful survey would get them more good impressions and respects from Indonesia visitors as some listed foods are Indonesians but listed as Malaysians.. Ooouch In general, this place is very recommended, for your feet, for your wallet, for your rest and for your stomach. Have a fun Manila explorations with Casa Bocobo

During my 3 day stay at this hotel, I first notice how couteous the staff were and they love to greet and give smile. The breakfast buffet were fantastic its like a world class menu. And the taste is superb. The only drawback I can say is that they didn't serve drinking water immediately. Its only by request. And there is no floor mat on the toilet. But over all I can its staisfactory.

Very nice hotel with sumptuous breakfast and nice location. Friendly staff and fast wifi.

Stayed for 4 nights. Plumbing is suspect. My toilet did not flush properly from the get go. Noisy clients that talk very loudly 3AM. No monitoring by the hotel. Inexpensive but not really a value purchase considering the lack of concern and monitoring og other clients who seem to get rowdy past midnight.

The rooms are clean. In fact the staff was cleaning constantly. But the front desk knows so little if you have a question about travel or sights to see. No tour brochures, or maps of surrounding area. Any question I asked the front desk, they said they would get back to me and never did. The room was safe and clean. Good breakfast. Friendly people but no personality.

the room was very small but ok. and the airconditional system was not good. it was loud and noisy not that cool! we had to turn off it because it was too loud. breakfast was ok. if you save your budget, then take it. or else I think I would not take this hotel again.

The hotel has a great location in Ermita and is close to many restaurants and shopping outlets. The rooms are a but stark but comfortable and good value. A picture or two with some color would help but are not essential.

A very clean hotel with excellent service and good food. good location with 7-eleven and many restaurants within a 2 minute walk away and the Robinsons Mall about 5 minutes walk away.

The Hotel was very nice and clean. The personnel is very nice and happy to help. They have other food places around the corner. I think you would love this hotel.

Pros: Cheap Cons: Filthy / dirty single bed sheets, with stains of various colors Insects in room, ants, cockroach Air condition very noisy and covered in dirt Noise from outside traffic from our room lasted all night, impossible to sleep Surrounding area had a bad smell of sewage Arranged taxi did not show at airport for us Burger ordered in restaurant had to be sent back as “ very “ cold in middle , not defrosted properly? Tables in café covered in dirt and very sticky Conclusion: I have no idea why this hotel can be highly rated , I am surprised that it can pass any form of hygiene test . A must avoid Was due to stay on our return to leg of trip but immediatley canceled after seeing our room

I was here at your Hotel for Business/Pleasure for 12 Days and i just want to take the time to thank your staff during my stay at your hotel. As a former Associate of the New York Marriott Financial Center for 13 years i know what it takes to give great service and to go above and beyond for the Guest and i must say that the Casa Bocobo exceded my expectations. Room 228 very nice and always clean. Hot water was just fine and the Air Conditioner worked fine as well and the television was great as well alot of Channels to offer. The only problem was that the internet on the far right kept going out but that is just water under a Bridge and not a major problem. Lets just say that i am so impressed that i will return again in a few months!!!!. Great Location near everything!!!!. Great Buffett Awesome Staff !!!!!!. I cannot say enough about your Hotel but AWESOME!!!!!!!!!. See you again very soon!!!!!!

This is a no frills hotel, but that in no way should deter you from staying here. The staff is VERY friendly and happily helped me with any issues I had. The only drawback I found was I think they need to provide more towels. We had two clean bath towels everyday, but no hand towels. If I go back to Manila, I'll stay here again.

The hotel is accessible to public transportation. For friends meeting a guest, the one way streets in this part of Manila was a bit confusing. Availability of a brochure or listing of things to do around the area would be a great help - sadly missing. The menu for breakfast (which came with the stay) can be improved.

Very comfortable stay.

Courteous staff and meticulous attention to cleanliness. Good location for walking around Manila. Close to everything a visitor would need. I am a US citizen that thinks the service was just as goog or more likely better than the average hotel service. The breakfast buffet was great! We had a great time at the live music event in the restaurant the friday night.

this is my second review on this hotel. The staff are wonderful. When they speak to you it is genuine. The food and the ambiance is great. The staff are very knowledgeable of surrounding area. The owners are the not there but you can tell that their vision is carried out to the T. When I go back this is the hotel I would consider first. Only drawback is that the room is not very big but big enough. You don't have to stay there all day. Oh there is not much of a view. Other than that the place is wonderful.

This is a wonderful hotel. The customer service is awesome. They speak to you every time they see you to make you feel absolutely welcome. Very warm and considerate staff. The restaurant is great. Everything I tasted, taste good without that Philippine twang. It is a place to stay not a 5 star hotel.

The stay at teh hotel was a pleasant experience, the buffet was good each day, the staff treat you as if they are the personal owners of the hotel itself, very good place to stay.

A very clean hotel to stay in. The air conditioning unit is a little bit noisy but still it wont affect your sleep. The hospitality is is really Great!! Love to stay in this hotel the next time if i travel to Manila. From the lounge, to the receptionist to the bell boy..... kudos for making our stay there enjoyable. Food at the cafeteria is good compared to the surrounding restaurants near the hotel. At night time tend to be a bit noisy but luckily our room is at the back n we can only hear some karaoke/disco songs located near the hotel. One thing that they can improve is the hospitality at the cafeteria. Hope the manager in charge train them to be more helpful and more friendly. At times, when i want ketchup or sauces, i tend to take them myself as i simply cant see them, either they are busy in the kitchen or cleaning the plates.

For the price the hotel is clean and in a good location for those doing Embassy work. The drawbacks - noisy location, no security, no elevator w/stairs.

We had a great experience in Casa Bocobo during our 4-day stay. We made a good choice since everything is very accessible to all spots and plan to go or visit. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Food was very tasty. In addition, during our 4th day, we had to check out but yet my partner needed to leave his luggage in the hotel because his flight was at midnight. He lost the counter number. Good thing the management was very helpful and friendly. I recommend this hotel

This is my 6th stay and I am always satisfied with the friendly staff and really great breakfast buffet. I highly recommend Casa Bocobo to anyone that wants good value and excellent service.

excellent service, very friendly staff, rooms are not as shown but very clean and comfortable, ask for rear facing room for quiet, the rooms facing street have traffic noise. This is my 5th stay and will return again
