The hotel was really nice and quite impressive.The rooms were very clean, but a little plain, I expected slightly more for the money!

Expected a little more glamour in our room considering the price. The meals, on the other hand, we're expensive but worth every penny. The location can't be beat for convenience to Kings Cross.

a great hotel lobby ,location and service but not a 5 stars room

I wanted to experience a night at this hotel having seen a documentary on TV which included a section on the restoration of the hotel.It is a unique building which sets it apart from alternatives in the area. The reception / public area's are well decorated and tasteful in the way the original features have been used to best effect. We booked a 'standard' rate room (still very expensive even for London), I was disappointed with the room in that it didn't live up to the price. Comfortable but not 5*. Would love to experience one of the Chambers club rooms but honestly wouldn't pay that much. A worthwhile experience but chances are we'll be staying in a more reasonably priced alternative next time.

Beautiful rooms. Very pleasant staff. Excellent service. There is nothing like a great hotel and they get it right. I stay here despite having my business in the City. So, the location isn't great for me but I stay here anyway.

Fantastic looking hotel, like grand central in NY big wide hallways large seating areas, good service & what you expect for a 5 star, top prices for drinks as well, but I thought "oh well, who cares as I want to spoil myself" then the huge disappointment......the room !!! The room cost £300 for the night soI was expecting something a little bit special, not over expecting but just thelittle extra you should expect for that type of money, it wasn't there, in fact it was only a little bit better than the Premier Inn that I paid £55 for a week before,in all my review is that the hotel is GROSSLY OVERPRICED

Nice Hotel, with 2 good restaurants. A taxi ride from most of the sights and events in London. We had a triple room and it was unusually spacious for central London.

We stayed here after a trip to Paris via the Eurostar, and the location couldn't have been any more convenient. The hotel connects to the Eurostar terminal, and also connects to the tube and is directly in the heart of London. The hotel is beautiful, the architecture stunning, the condition immaculate and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

St Pancras was on my bucket list to stay. It did not dissappoint. Check in was easy and enabled early for us. We had the most gorgeous afternoon tea, which was explained and enabled every step by the attentive Tam, whose smile was a bonus to our experience. We were able to add in a visit to the British Library, even though our stay was so short, due to its proximity to the hotel. This is a place you all have to visit. The room was beautiful, spacious, and a sanctuary. I swam in the pool at night, alone, and it was also a beautiful experience with coloured lights and attentive people who are attached to the spa and pool. I used the steam room and the volcanic shower, but could not find the button to activate the spa jets. A great way to spend the last night of our first European trip, esp having the hotel just upstairs from the eurostar termnal.

Most London hotels are overpriced and appalling. st Pancra Hotel is overpriced and luxurious!

The hotel was stunning, staff very friendly and helpful, a really lovely weekend. My only criticism was that the room was very warm and we failed to work out how to modify the temperature. We had a twin room which was spotless, spacious, and great bathroom with Ren products The history of the hotel is really interesting and they have done a superb job in the renovations, worth a wander round in itself, the fabulous staircase and original station features are wonderful.

A world class hotel. Tastefully appointed & exceptional. this is a place I will return to again and again & I will send many people - already have. I will say the restaurant; the Gilbert Scott, was also delicious and beautiful. However the hostess, on Feb 13th, was pointlessly rude; left us waiting 40 minutes longer than she estimated and offered no explanation or apology. We sat at the bar and were completely ignored by the 3 also very unfriendly bartenders for way too long as well. They literally pretended we weren't there for at least 15 minutes. I own a large hospitality business in Santa Barbara and found those these bits very unfortunate.

If the Renaissance wants to be one of the preeminent 5 star hotels in London then it's got a long way to go! Don't believe the hype or the pretty pictures at best this is a very good 4 star. No memorable moments if truth no doorman or bell hop to greet. The walk to lifts and room illogical shabby behind the scenes standard rooms a smidge better than premier inn. Claridges The Ritz The Corinthia are far way ahead of this place

lovelely renovation, staff excellent. my wife and i stayed before a eurostar city break, but enjoyed out time at tjis hotels as much as the break. hotel is spotless with excellent amenities.

I stayed at the hotel with two friends for a girly weekend. The location is great, the room was perfect and the pool and spa facilities were lovely. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The other guests were a mix of families, couples and friends.

We had read about the restoration of the St Pancras Hotel and were intrigued to see the results. We could not believe our luck when we were upgraded to a suite in the original victorian part of the building with a view over the restored train shed of St Pancras International Station. The room was superb, the ambience was great, the service was impeccable yet friendly, in all an experience to be remembered with delight.

St. Pancras station and hotel are an absolute joy and a magnificent gateway to England.

As a station hotel the Renissance St. Pancras is an ok hotel, front desk staff are friendly and always willing to help. Checking in took longer than it should for a hotel in this category. Breakfast is way over priced and the selection is nothing to speak of, eggs were discolored and look gray (very Un-appealing) On the day of check out, the cleaning crew started knocking on our door from early in the morning even though check out time is at noon, they did this two times! Overall, very convinient if you are traveling out of St. Pancras but I think I'll return to my other London favorite hotel and take a taxi the next time .

Excellent Hotel. Especially the restaurant and bar. Really convenient if you are travelling by rail anywhere in the UK or Europe. The building itself is spectacular!

Stayed on 1st night I out honeymoon What an amazing hotel just brilliant It may not be cheap but everything is done to perfection Staff were all excellent We ate at the Gilbert Scott and food was just marvellous Imperial splendour reborn

The stay was fine. The only comment I would make is that the bar was extraordinarily expensive even for London. Otherwise, nice place to stay and conveniently at a train/tube station.

I booked a Barlow room for my parents before Eurostar trip. It was a wonderful experience for them and it is such an amazing building. There is lots of information on the restoration work and building on the eurostar departure depot.The only slightly negative was for breakfast when it was not made clear whether it was self serve buffet or order off menu or both. Overall i would recommend this hotel for special occasions.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service, great location for using the station. We had an extremely pleasant stay, would recommend, we will certainly stay there again.

One of the few hotels that I've stayed in that has promised much, and then delivered even more. Fascinating building, superb location, great service. Not cheap, but really rather good value. Chambers Rooms stunning and Chambers Club Lounge a real haven of peace. Spa small but beautiful.

This is an amazing hotel. Worth paying the extra if you can afford it for a special occasion to get a Chambers Club room. Ours overlooked the platform and the Eurostar trains but was very quiet. Special access to the club is a treat and the wife loved the spa. There was a guided history tour of the hotel going on as we were shown to our room! Amazing building... Only warning is look out for the price of a pint in the Booking Office bar ... £6.50!

This hotel met and exceeded all my expectations! Rooms are very clean and well equipped, the quality of service is excellent and very personal and the actual hotel is very beautiful.

We had a great time here (the first night after our wedding!). The staff were friendly and efficient (especially Joao - I think - on the front desk). The room was very comfortable. The food was great. If you want a quality hotel in this area, go for this one. It's expensive, but it's well worth it if you want to splash out.

We had an early Eurostar booking, so stayed at the Renaissance St Pancras - walked out of hotel straight into Eurostar platforms - perfect. Staff were extremely helpful, and it's the first wake-up call I've had in a long time where it was a real person ringing! Will definitely use again.

What an excellent hotel, the staff were superb, we were upgraded to a better room, a King size bed rather than twins. The 'Booking Office' is a fabulous bar and restaurant that allows you to soak up the atmosphere. We had breakfast at Caluchio's which is right next door which was also splendid. I willbe recommending the St Pancras Renaissance to all my friends. It was expensive but well worth it.

excellent apart from having to make your own toast at breakfast,especially when its not cheap!

Useful if early travel by Eurostar. However not particularly good value for the money charged. Room lacked basic amenity such as trouser press. Reasonable restaurant meal, although nothing out of the ordinary.

The hotel was beautiful and had a lot of character. We upgraded our room to over look the interior of the train station attached. Which came with access to the lounge that served breakfast, tea and free internet which was great. What wasn't great was hearing all of the announcements made over the loud speaker in the train station and that the person in the room above us sounded like an elephant bowling....

disappointed to be charged an extra £60 because there were three of us when I specifically requested a room for 3 and it showed 3 on the room registration.

The building is amazing and it's history is so interesting. The staff could not be more friendly and professional. The decor is wonderfully modern but comfortable with some great original features. Cetainly a hotel that welcomes their guests, caters to their needs and allows them to leave feeling rested and priviledged to have stayed in a London gem. Rooms were well appointed and spotless.

The hotel was lovely and the staff very accommodating. The only problem I had was that the bathtub is very deep and difficult to climb out of! The first time I took a shower I had to call to my daughter to help me get out. There needs to be a bar to help with climbing out. Apart from that it was very nice and I would definitely recommend it.

A cut above other hotels. staff very helpful, and always willing to asist in any way. The room was of an excellent standard, and a lot of thought had gone into the needs of the customer. The proximity of the hotel to the tube stations was ideal as well.

We enjoyed the architecture and restoration of this Victorian building. Service was very good and the food at both restaurants was very good.

If you like first rate hotels and converted train stations (and I mean this is the best way), then you'll love the St Pancras. The building is a delight for anyone with an interest in architecture, with a lobby and restaurant that are airy and wonderful to look at. I stayed in the Barlow wing, which is a modern add-on. Comfortable but nothing special. I'd stay in the main building if possible, even if it costs a tad more. The only real downside is the location, which is great if you're planning take the train or underground, but pretty dead in terms of nightlife. Overall, though, it's a great hotel and I'd stay there again.

The St Pancras Renaissance London Hotel is housed in an epically majestic building. You really must experience it. But, ensure you know what to expect. Rooms in the Barlow wing are really nothing special - just ordinary good quality hotel rooms. You wouldn't know you were anywhere special. Yes as a hotel guest you can stroll the corridors of the more majestic wings - but dont expect anything memorable from your own room. Also beware of problems with your booking - we booked an extra bed for our daughter but the hotel did not have this information and only agreed to provide third bed when I showed hotels.com printout. This took over an hour to sort out - time lost to us. Otherwise hotel is extremely convenidnt for Eurostar departures and I would recommend it to anyone with a morning departure to Paris or Brussels.

Chose this hotel mainly for it's proximity to Kings Cross Station, but was delighted with my choice. Friendly staff, amazing surroundings and a large comfortable room with all facilities made this a very enjoyable stay. I didn't have time to sample the restaurant or bars, but saw afternoon tea being served as I was leaving and it looked delicious! I would certainly stay at this hotel again
