Courtyard Houma - هوما

I try to stick with nice hotels with good ratings. This one was really a nice place! Great service, new, clean and modern. The inside pool was heated too. Very nice! Loved our stay there.

The only Problem I had with this hotel is that the rooms are a lot smaller in person than they look like they are on the website. But we made it work and the pool was absolutely AWESOME. It was nice and warm and a perfect little relaxation for a long day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Common sense suggests that people want room service in the morning when they are tired, hung over, or simply don't want to have to awake early to have to get ready just to go eat in the restaurant. This is my only complaint. Start having room service in the morning! They don't realize the money they are losing by not having this option.

All the hotel staff was very friendly and the customer service was great.

Very nice hotel. Beautiful rooms, nice lounge area & Bistro. Pool & spa area was gorgeous. Housekeeping VERY slow to respond to needs but other than that, I would stay again in a heart beat. Competitive rates especially during Mardi Gras and off the busy MLK Blvd traffic. Wonderful.

This is a new Marriot Courtyard and is well designed. Staying there on the weekend was a little rough because there were several parties/wedding taking place. The were REALLY loud.

The hotel was was well maintained and clean. It had everything we were needing except for a quiet night. A bus load of high school students came party in rooms and hallway outside of our room. We called the front desk three times asking them to help quiet down the group. This noise from drunken kids lasted from about 12:30 to 3:30. I did not expect this at the Courtyard. The next morning I went to the front desk and the male on duty said he would walk up to our floor and they would scather. The Courtyard did nothing to help with this service issue. They need to update their policy on renting to partying teenagers. And they could have offered a discount on the room or even a complimentary breakfast for our inconvenience but they did not.

We arrived at the hotel late due to meeting. Our first room had a very bad smell, I called the front desk and in 15 mins we were in a different room. Very nice staff and hotel

The Court Yard is a new hotel and was very clean. The hotel is just off of 311 in Houma and is very near MLK BLVD where all the major restaurants and shops are. Nice place the price is a little above average for Houma but well worth the price. the staff was helpful and friendly.

New hotel, very clean with great features. I would highly recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay in Houma.

Very Clean. Starbucks in the lobby as well as a little cafe and bar! Great Staff! Nice Rooms!

check in process took over 15 min because the hotel staff did not know how to do a hotels.com pre-paid reservation - way way too long - no ice vending on 1st floor either

I liked the location of this hotel because it is in a quiet area of town. While driving around, I noticed that many of the other hotels in town were on very busy highways. However, I had a couple of things happen that made me feel that safety procedures were not being followed. First, upon check-in, my room number was announced loudly (from one receptionist to another) in a front of another person who was also checking in. His room number was also first announced over a walkie talkie and then aloud just as mine had been. Second, I had a key that was not working. I asked to have it "reset" and it was done so after I mentioned the room number. I was not asked to give my name or show any ID. That seemed very unsafe to me. I did express my concerns to a staff member who said that she would bring them up at the next manager meeting. My overall experience was nice, and I would stay here again.

Everything was wonderful about this hotel. The only thing they need to do is put a mirror in the room. The only mirrors are in the bathroom, so if you don't want to get ready while someone is taking a hot steamy shower, you have to wait until they are out.

Great hotel with a great staff. I was in Houma on a business trip and this will be the only hotel where I'll stay if I return. Being female, safety is a big issue for me and I definitely felt safe here. Modern/Contemporary decor that made me feel right at home.

First the good: -The Lobby is beautiful and very elegant and the standard, double queen room I stayed in was spacious, clean and comfortable. - The property has two pools (one indoor) in nicely landscaped areas. -The staff were very friendly and helpful during my week-long stay for business. The disappointing: - I could not get housekeeping to re-supply or even clean the coffee pot. After my first morning, each day I had to go to the lobby and request a coffee packet. - The restaurant is only semi-full service (you have to go to a counter to order) and the menu is quite limited. As there are no restaurants in the neighborhood, Marriot should do better. There was no coffee service in the lobby, you need to ask the counter person to fill your cup. - The air conditioner in my room was quite loud and continually blasted freezing air, even when I turned the thermostat up to near ambient temperature. Overall a very nice property and would be good for a family vacation or a short visit. But for a business traveler, who needs to be up and moving in the morning and looks forward to relaxing in the evening (especially when the stay is to last for several days or even weeks), the deficiencies can be annoying.

The staff was outstanding, the room was the best, and the meeting room was wonderful.

All of my colleagues who have stayed at various other hotels in Houma have lots of complaints about them. The worst I can say about the Courtyard Houma is that they don't give tea in the rooms (only coffee), and they keep trying to put me by the elevator and mechanic's room. But they always move me when I ask, and they do have free tea downstairs... Otherwise it's very nice, clean, quiet and comfy!

Superbe chambre. Possibilité de prendre un verre et de manger une salade ou un wrap au RDC à l'intérieur de l'hôtel (bien pratique!). Nuit faite un samedi soir et nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine prise d'assaut par les familles et de nombreux enfants. Dommage...
