Hotel Rural Cuatro Esquinas - سان ميجيل دي أبونا

4 Esquinas is the perfect place if you like genuine people and genuine food. A far cry from the usual overfilled anglicized resorts of the South! The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming and la Senora's cooking is outstanding! San Miguel is only 20 mins from Tenerife South airport and a fairly good base for exploring the mountains. We stayed for 2 nights before heading to the north of the island.

Lovely hotel, beautifully restored building, rooms over a bar/restaurant so not for those who would like to sleep early.

Very nice intimate hotel with great personal service and very good food. San Miguel isn't ideally situated, but if you're renting a car it's a great and relaxed option to have as base.

We enjoyed our stay. Very nice people. It was New Years day and the hotel restaurant was busy but we were able to get a table and the food was excellent. Breakfast/Dining room service could be a bit more organized. A really nice quiet place to stay.

The owners are very proud of the restoration of the old building which was opened in November last year. The couple give friendly service and helpful advice about local amenities. The bed was very comfortable The bedroom was spacious with a very high traditional ceiling, and the bathroom has a state of the art shower. Tables are laid outside for eating as well as inside for warmth in the mornings. San Miguel is quite high up and cooler than coastal resorts. I live half an hour away near the coast and we enjoyed a birthday night in the hotel as a treat. We were not disappointed. The road is quite noisy in the day, but didn't disturb our sleep at night. The accommodation is very close to the small town. There is a museum El Capitan nearby showing Canarian history. A hotel to be explored.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at 4 Esquinas. The place is nice and well kept and has a charming sunny yard for lunching or reading a book. The family that owns the hotel are extremely friendly and generous. They served us house specialities from the kitchen on several occations and helped us with any request we might have. The atmosphere in the hotel and restaurant is very cheerful due to the positive spirit of the owners. The restaurant serves good and solid food in large portions - many dishes can be easily shared. Our room was nice and tidy with a good bed and bathroom. Only downside was that it faced the main road into town - with som traffic noise as a result. Ask for a room at the back if you want to avoid this. Apart from that we give our warmest recommendations.

Liebenswürdige Gastwirte in charmantem, traditionellen kleinen Hotel resp. Pension, Halbpension ist empfehlenswert, sehr feines Essen. Einziger Mangel sind etwas Strassenlärm bei den Zimmern zur Strasse hin.

sehr nett, familaer, freundlich, ideal fuer alle die im Sueden unterwegs sein wollen, Auto noetig, dann aber tolle Touren auf 4 raedern oder 2 Beinen in der Umgebung

Servicio del hotel es muy bien. La casa bello en interior.

Sehr persönliche und romantische Atmosphäre. Der Hotelbesitzer spricht deutsch und englisch. Es ist etwas aus der Vergangenheit da geblieben. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Hotellet ligger noen minutter opp fra stranden, mot fjellene, men stedet kan allikevel tilby mye kultur og trivsel. Hotellet holder til i en eldre bygning som er blitt svært pietetsfullt restaurert. Rommene er koselige og pent innredet, og stedet er fylt av kulturhistorie og sjarm. Man blir virkelig tatt godt vare på, av et svært trivelig ektepar, som lager nydelig mat og tar godt vare på gjestene sine.
