Coral Sands Beach Resort - باربادوس

My husband and two children had a wonderful stay at Coral Sands. All rooms have a full kitchen with alll that you will need to "function" , ocean front views with patios, pool towels provided. The hotel was super clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch and the food was basic, but very good. The hotel is in a great location (walking distance to grocery stores and the ST. Lawrence Gap). The pool area was clean and plenty of lounge chairs. The beach out front has some charter boats anchored nearby, but not an issue with plenty of room to frolic n the water. Only slight negative is that the pool bar is usually closed, but if you would like a beverage, then the staff will come out to serve you.

The very friendly and well-informed (we often asked for their suggestions) front desk staff made numerous restaurant and day trip reservations for us. The houskeeping staff was superb, carefully working around our constantly changing schedule. The beach, which we could see and listen to the waves from anywhere in our suite or from our balcony, was ideal. Walking the smooth sand and swimming in the warm water was the perfect refreshment every day.

Totally enjoyable . Spacious, beautiful room with private balcony overlooking the sea. Very kind and helpful people at the front desk. Permitted to take their beach chairs onto the beach.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Coral Sands. The hotel is very well keep and the staff are very helpful. Love the full kitchen and split bathroom layout. Balcony view over looking the beach was spectacular. The water in the pool at night was warm and enjoyable. This is a very nice place to stay with the only negative being the hotel food.

My wife and I had been at this hotel 10 years ago and the standard is still the same very high

Small boutique hotel approx 30 rooms. All rooms face ocean and they all have large balconies with wonderful views. Hotel is off the main road so no traffic noise. Rooms are spacious and kitchenette is handy if you want to eat in. There's 3 supermarkets within 2-10 mins walk. Bus stop 2mins walk. Small but lovely beach infront of hotel - great for swimming and safe for young children. All the staff were helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this resort for 9 days. The hotel is nice, relaxing with soothing design in the rooms. The room was very spacious, with a balcony facing the ocean. We had the best sunset views! Best feature of the beach - a turtle swam up to people every morning, looking for some treats. If it found anybody willing to provide food, it stayed to play with people. Walk to fully staffed grocery store - 5 min, walk to Laurence Gap with great restaurants - 5 min. Walking is a bit stressful due to very narrow sidewalks. In some places there are no sidewalks at all. What we enjoyed in other resorts on Caribbean islands was walking along the beach for miles at a time. We could not walk far from this resort - beach areas are broken into 300-500 yards pieces, impossible to cross from one to another. This is the only disappointing element. Overall, we loved the resort!

This is a great place to stay in the south, nice sandy beach with a coral reef in front so the water is calm for the south. Walking distance to the St. Lawrence Gap with lots of restaurants. Great bus service in front of hotel if you choose to take it. Large food store just a couple blocks away. The hotel itself had a fully equiped kitchen which made it nice for breakfast, large bathroom, lots of closet space, large balcony with a great view. The staff were all great to deal with and the cleaning staff did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

A typical 3 star Hotel, albeit more could be expected for the price. Good access to the beach in front of the hotel. Nice view from the rooms. Surrounding area not exactly idyllic. Pretty sloppy service, you basically have to chase the staff to get a drink at the pool.

If you're looking for a huge list of amenities, this isn't the place. What it is, is a nice place near points of interest, right on a beautiful beach and quietly tucked off the main road. As noted by others, the breakfast is overpriced and not that great. But otherwise great.

New Nice right on the beach very convenient to everything. Would have given a 55 overall but just a little pricey...great service though and nice room,very nice bathroom, pool, view.

I do not know where to start in praising this hotel. I passed by many of the others on the south coast of Barbados - as far as location and outward appearance, it's topnotch. The staff is outstanding - friendly, patient, knowledgeable and efficient. The rooms are big, the beach right outside your balcony is pristine. We cooked in the kitchenette which has full set of dishes, utensels. As far as location, it is centrally located - you can use public buses and vans right outside. Many restaurants close by, including those at St. Lawrence Gap. Easy to get to Bridgetown, Barbados Museum, Oistin's. There is a bank almost next door along with supermarkets within a few minute walk.. The hotel is quiet. Sitting on your balcony looking at the beautiful colors of the ocean was the high point of every morning.. I am so pleased that I picked this hotel. I would recommend and if I return to Barbados would certainly choose this as my place to stay. Go and enjoy it.

Great apartment, everything you need, with the most amazing views. Two double beds, can be an issue if your use to a king size, we managed..... Swimming pool was nice with comfy sunbeds. Sunbeds on beach have to be asked for, there were only 4 for beach which would have been a problem if hotel was busy. 5 minutes walk to St lawrence Gap, 2 minutes to large supermarket, bus stop more or less outside. Definately would recommend.

We (55+ couple) have stayed here several times over several years; and at other areas in Barbados. We love the hotel because it is small and usually quiet. There is no 'entertainment' or programs. Just the sound of the Caribbean and the tree frogs at night, with a great view from each of the 31 studio type large rooms with large balconies. See their website; pictures are accurate. Large bathroom with double sinks, double closets, huge walk-in shower. Great pool deck and pool. Directly on the beach, literally steps from the Caribbean Sea. Several inexpensive bars and restaurants in the area; and, great with the large kitchen: a large supermarket a walk away. (the Supercentre, NOT the apparently nearly bankrupt Trimart, which is closer. Too bad, it used to be good) The hotel is far enough from the street so there is very little traffic noise; yet close enough to catch one of the 'Z-vans' (mini-busses) that pass every minute and toot at you to see if you want a ride for $1.50 Bajan (.75 US). U.S. currency accepted everywhere, usually at 2 Bdos for 1 U.S; although official pegged rate is 1.98. A five minute or so walk from the very popular St. Lawrence Gap area; and a ten minute walk the other way to the famous Accra (Rockley) Beach. Some neighbourhood faves are Bob's BBQ. at the Crystal Waters bar about 100 feet down the beach. Every Friday night and Sunday noon, 80 y.o. Bob and his son Richard serve up one of the best meals on the island, at a very reasonable price. The Carib Beach Bar ( just a few feet past the Crystal Waters) has a long happy hour with excellent rum punch. For a special treat, (for a lot more money) have lunch at the elegant Champers, a walk away just at the edge of Rockley Beach. See their menu and wine list before going if you're on a tight budget. McBride's Pub in 'the Gap' has meal deals several nights. The Horseshoe Saloon across the street from the hotel has good food at good prices. The Chicken Barn next door to the 'Shoe has...wait for it...

We had a wonderful time on the South Coast. Accomodation is just right. View from our room was fantastic. Location is great as not far from airport, shops, ATM etc... Staff attitude was professional and friendly. Felt safe and happy. Would stay again. Although newlyweds we'd come again with our family in the future.

Ótima, acima de nossas expectativas. O hotel é pequeno, quartos grandes com bela vista para uma praia linda e sossegada. Funcionários super atenciosos e quarto muito limpo. Excelente para quem quer descansar e estar perto do centro. Apesar do Hotel estar em localização central, não fica junto a avenida o que é um grande diferencial nesta localização e a praia é excelente para banho, sem muita agitação. Perfeito!

Das Coral Sands Beach Resort ist direkt am Worthing Beach gelegen. Der Worthing Beach ist ein schmaler, sauberer Strandabschnitt mit feinsandigem Strand. Das Hotel ist in traditionellem bajanischen Baustil gebaut. Die charmante Anlage verfügt über ca. 30 Appartements. Alle Appartements haben Meerblick. Unser Appartement war riesig groß. Wir hatten zwei Queensizebetten, eine Essecke und eine gut ausgerüstete Kitchenette. Als Stauraum hatten wir eine Kommode mit 6 großen Schubladen und einen riesigen Kleiderschrank. Der Fernseher hatte noch Röhre und war mittelgroß. Safe und Föhn sind vorhanden. Das Bad war auch sehr geräumig und hatte zwei Waschbecken. Shampoo und Lotion wurden täglich aufgefüllt. Statt Duschgel gibt es Seife. Die Zimmerausstattung insgesamt würde ich mit gutem Standard beurteilen. Es war alles sauber und gepflegt. Alle Zimmer haben einen wunderschönen großen überdachten Balkon mit Sitzgelegenheit. Das Personal an der Rezeption war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zum Hotel gehört noch das Aurora Restaurant. Das Restaurant hat ein nettes Ambiente und ist sehr nett gedeckt gewesen. Es war aber nie ein Gast zu sehen und auch kein Personal. Wir sind dann einmal zum Frühstück dort gewesen. Es erschien dann eine Angestellte für die wir eher ein überraschender Störfaktor waren. Das full breakfast bestand aus Bohnen, Rösti, Sausage, Rührei und Speck. Die Portion war klein, Butter und Toast fehlten.Wir wurden nicht gefragt, wie die Eier sein sollen oder ob es geschmeckt hat. Wasser wurde erst auf Aufforderung gebracht und dann auch nur eins. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung haben wir das Restaurant nicht mehr betreten. Eine gute Alternative ist gegenüber auf der anderen Straßenseite der Hauptstraße ein 24-Stunden-Restaurant. Dort kann man gut frühstücken. Weitere Restaurants gibt es im Lawrence Gap. Freitag Abend bietet es sich an nach Oistins zum Fischmarkt zu fahren. Dort kann man lecker Fischgerichte essen. Der Mini-Bus bringt Sie dorthin. Das Hotel hat eine ansprech

Wir waren im Juli und August 2011 im Hotel, dass uns in jeder Hinsicht überzeugt hat. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, ansprechend ausgestattet und in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand. Der Blick vom großen Balkon ist erste Sahne, da das Meer und auch der Sonnenuntergang direkt vor den Augen liegen. Die kleine Anlage liegt ca. 100 Meter von der Hauptstraße entfernt und ist es extrem ruhig. Gleichzeitig sind fußläufig Restaurants und Geschäfte in zwei, drei Minuten erreichbar. Wer die Absicht hat, nach Barbados zu reisen, sollte sich das Hotel nicht entgehen lassen.

Главный недостаток отеля цена, она достаточно высокая т.к. территория отеля крохотная и без развлечений: отель, бассейн с террасой, за оградкой кусок пляж с океаном . Все лежат возле бассейна, потому что до океана идти 5-10 метров. К пляжу можно подъехать на машине, поэтому это не самое тихое место на земле. В выходные много местных с колонками из авто. Перед пляжем идет риф. Море почти всегда волнуется, но это обычное явление для этой части острова. Сам отель очень чистенький. Убираются очень тщательно. Балкон и сам номер большой. Из номера прекрасный вид на океан. Все есть чтобы готовить самим. Холодильник шумный зараза. Можно за отдельную плату позавтракать или пообедать внизу на террасе. В ресторан обычно никто не ходит. Ужин они не предлагают. Как правило в баре на террасе или в ресторане персонала нет. Надо звонить и просить чтобы подошли. В отеле еда лучше чем в окрестных заведениях До городка где ночная жизнь идти пешком минут 20-30. Хотя ходить по острову неудобно тротуары узкие и дороги загазованные

Lo recomiendo sin duda alguna...hotel tranquilo con pocas habitaciones....servicio excelente y en una zona muy buena de la isla. Sin duda alguna repito la próxima vez que vaya a Barbados
