But after using hotels.com for over 5 years I will never book another room with you or an affiliated site. Your customer service is horrible and your fee outrageous, I dare you to publish that.

What caught my eye about the hotel's attributes was it's 60 foot pool.....it was a wonderful oasis at the end of a day slogging about the city in the heat and humidity...The hotel was palatial in size with 2 colonnaded garden areas besides the pool...but the real luxury was afforded by the daily 30 min massage or pedicure available to each guest for each day of their stay. Another nice touch was a welcoming cup of the house cocoa tea (a wonderfully refreshing and novel taste sensation) Additionally each room is provided with a sample pack of this wondrous tea.

The hotel was located near the central park with a convenient location near a pharmacy, many banks, and a movie theater. The outside of the hotel was very clean as were the common areas. The room was very clean and the staff apologized for the small size, we had an economy room, but it was just what we needed and we didn't feel cramped in the room (the bed is a full size, but we are both not very big people). The courtyards were beautifully landscaped and kept very clean. There was english speaking staff available at all times at the front desk. Upon arrival they wanted more money from us as they couldn't find our correct reservation information. We were in an ecomomy room, which had a window (some of the larger rooms don't have windows) and there was even an air conditioner and hot water! But... the a/c didn't work. We notified the front desk and they sent two people to look at it. They then sent us a fan, which helped. Two hours later, the A/C came on and we were very happy. We went to sleep ealry (jet lag and travel sleepiness) and around 10:30 PM they were knocking on our door to get the fan back. At 11:30 PM a drum band started playing and it was LOUD! This only went on for 15 minutes, but it was loud enough to awake all the sleeping guests. Very annoying. The pool was pretty, but we didn't have time to sit around at the pool. Upon check out, they attempted to charge us for the room again (we already paid via Hotels.com). This argument went on for about 20 minutes as they wanted to see confirmation emails that we paid, they even wanted to see our credit card statement to prove that we paid. This was also very annoying. The breakfast spead was mediocre at best, but I don't want to complain about a free meal! I wouldn't stay here again as it felt a bit disorganized and there are places you could stay that are closer to the central park.

I cancelled this reservation as soon as I saw the room. It was gloomy and smelly. It felt more like a gaol or monastic cell. I found a lovely hotel - for the same price - just around the corner. Avoid this dump.

The hotel lobby, spa and breakfast areas were much as expected and quite satisfactory. The hotel is very expansive with 3 beautiful court yards and a terrific spa with a great swimming pool with a poolside snack bar, during the day. However, there is no bar or restaurant where you can get any food or drink after 6pm and I was a little uncomfortable returning through the streets late in the evening after a meal. I also found that our room itself was lacking in many respects. Although it was enormous and the woodwork was beautiful the bed was extremely uncomfortable and both myself and a friend woke up repeatedly through the night with back, neck and shoulder pains. There was only one wooden table and chair in the room, no place to sit comfortably except on the bed. The bathroom had a lovely shower but the sink did not have normal fixtures, just separate pvc pipes with a turn cranck on the ends and the water did not mix. The hot water was scalding so we ended up not using it at all. I guess in the end if you were there for the spa you will be pleased. If you are there to get some sleep or want to spend time in your room, you probably won't get much of either.

Aunque las zonas comunes no estan mal, la verdad es que las habitaciones estan muy mal, son incomodas, ruidosas... y no tiene nada que ver con las fotos. Por cierto, el desayuno deja bastante que desear..

Wunderschönes, altes Gemäuer, liebevoll und detailliert in Szene gesetzt. Freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Der Innen-Pool bietet Ruhe und Entspannung. Kein Luxus-Hotel, aber auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen!
