موقع خيالي! تستطيع المشي لكل شئ متحف بيكاسو, متحف استوديو دالي، كاتيدرائية برشلونة، لا رامبلا، ال بورن (وهو المفضل لدينا). أيضا على القائمة كاسا ميلا و اول ثنجز جوادي. باري جوثيك مكان عالي الصوت في المساء لكن اذا كنت لا تبالي بغناء الناس تحت نافذتك والصراخ العشوائي اذا هذا المكان المناسب لك. الطاقم كان رائعا قطعا! لاقامة قصيرة كانت شقة ممتعة.

لقد خاب أملنا بهذا الفندق. كنا 3 نقيم في ما ظننا أنه جناح من غرفة واحدة. عند وصولنا تفاجأنا أننا نتشارك غرفة واحدة مع سرير قابل للطي مخصص للضيف الثالث معنا. السرير كان غير مريح الى أبعد الحدود، وانكسر من الليلة الأولى. رغم أن الصور أوضحت وجود شرفة بمنظر جميل، الا أن لغرفتنا شرفة مواجهة لحائط خرساتي يحجب أي منظر. ملاحظة ايجابية كان الموظفون على مكتب الاستقبال ودودين جدا و لطيفن. لن أقيم فيه مرة أخرى.

the rooms are nothing like what is shown here. it is difficult to locate and requires carrying your luggage through town to get to accommodations. very disorganised, i will stay ever again at their property

The little apartment we were in was fine, the staff very friendly and helpful, but for the price the room could have been better. Great shower, kitchen was a toaster and a microwave - i had expected more than this but it did us fine. Good location, but really anywhere around the old city or close to Plaza Catalunya is likely to be a good location. All up it was fine for our first few nights in Spain, but on being here longer have discovered there is so much better value for money. My intention here is not to complain, but just to help others with their accommodation choices.

For the amount they charge per night the room given was small, the kitchen appliances were poor and the door into the room narrowly misses the bed. We were luckily on the first floor, the stair case is a death trap, if you have a big case or want to drink at night, I wouldnt recommend staying here. It isnt in a bad location, however the main desk is on a different street which may be difficult for some people to find. The room was clean atleast..

No doubt it is a beautiful city. The narrow staircase made it unpleasant to go to the room as often. The room is way to expensive for the condition. No toilet treats were offered and coming into the room twice in a week was a bit to much, not to stay in the hotel again.

The apartment is located in the gothic neighborhood, so is close to everything, it was better than expected. It has everything you need and it looks brand new, really clean.

The apartments-in-Barcelona are a great way to spend a few days in this magical city. The location is superb. You cannot go wrong: away from the noise of Las Rambles, yet very near the best spots of Barcelona. We saw 3 different apartments. One was at the very top, the loft. It was nice to have a terrace, but the climb upstairs was pretty steep, and the room was very small. Other apartment was bigger, but with 2 beds, instead of a double-bed. The last aparment/studio had a huge double bed, sofa and plenty of space.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was a bit small but had everything we needed. The location of the hotel/apartment was excellent, it allowed us to walk to a lot of the places we wanted to visit and it was right next to the metro. The staff were all very helpful.

Even in late November, the neighborhood can be quite noisy. If you're catching an early morning train to Poblet that can be a problem; on other days you can roll with it. You are in central Barcelona after all!

Good location close to many tourist attractions and within easy walking of many others. Comfortable studio with balcony overlooking the street. Helpful staff.

Nice room for the money with full bath and kitchenette...TV was not working...would stay here again

The room was big enough for 3 people, but the noise is pretty bad at night. It almost seemed as if the windows had not insulation (you could hear everything that was going outdoors crystal clear). The location was great though. They are doing construction right now, so the lobby was a little dusty. The asian cleanig lady was very nice and even scheduled a cab for us on our last day

We stayed in Juame 1. The apartment was clean, fresh sheets and towels supplied every day. The service was excellent even though we arrived at 11pm. The amenities in the apartment were good - refrigerator, air con, hair-dryer etc. The apartment was ideally located in the gothic quarter within walking distance to the beach and port area and the La Rambla area. Although it is hard to find, our taxi driver was not sure where it was. Overall, would highly recommend to anyone going to Barcelona.

Very nice but room was very small and would be very cramped if staying there for a long time. Otherwise staff were friendly and location was great, very close to must see sights.

Good value. Most people complain about the noise from the street outside, but it didn`t bother us.

Loved this place... amazing location in the Gothic Quarter, you can walk everywhere. The stairs are small and steep, so getting your luggage to the room sucks, but the room is very clean, has AC, and the bathroom is rather large for Spain. This is not a typical Hotel - it is an apartment rental. So you feel like you are living like a local. They do have daily cleaning services, but you don't have all the amenities of a hotel. I loved it!

Close to Metro station of Jaume I, next to Cathedral. You can hear the bell of the church, walking distance to port and marina. Convenient location near by restaurants, cafes, shops. We stayed 4 nights at top floor with two bed rooms. One nice feature, we had direct access to our personal elevator from our room. I liked it very much. Front desk (reception) is small and check in process is slow. But check out, just leave your key in room, that's it.

Property is well-located in the Barri Gotic. Service was slow, but the people were helpful. I'd stay there again just for the location. Bring ear plugs --- it's noisy at night.

Now I understand why they call them the Apartments. Each one is very different and spread out over Barcelona. The Gothic-Jaume I apartment/room we stayed in was very difficult to get to. It was in a dark alley with a very tight spiral staircase up to the 3rd floor. There wasn't any soap or shampoo in the bathroom. I've had cleaner places for a lot cheaper. Wasn't worth the money.

Really a great hotel, fantastic rooms, great service from hotel staff and superb location - simply a must try in Barcelona, in the best part of the Gothic quarter.

We really enjoyed staying here. The location was great, the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The only drawback was parking, since we had a car with us. Parking garage was expensive, but overall was worth it.

The price is right for a room here...it is in a good location close to the Metro and within walking distance of most of Barcelona's historical sites, markets and the sea. The room itself is comfortable and functional but not luxurious. We were able to prepare basic meals in the kitchenette, saving a few dollars. The Wifi needed to be reset for us but that was the only technology glitch. Overall, we were very happy with our experience here.

The Juan was conveniently situated near shops and only 5 minutes walk from the main strip, the complimentary internet was a added bonus. Our room was recently refurbished to a high standard and had everything you would need a little bit to small for 3 adults but very tidy.

They said it was my fault, but I did not have any problems with my charger in Spain and one of the charger was the real apple charger. Be really careful with your electronics in this apartment. Plus side ; great location, clean apartment. Great if you don t have electronic device.

I stayed two nights in Apartments in Barcelona Gothic- Jaume I with my sister and wished we could have stayed longer! The apartment's location is GREAT, very safe and close to everything. The staff were also great and very informative. We loved the room, perfect size for us two complete with everything one would need (everything for cooking in a small kitchen), very nice bathroom, plus had a great little balcony!!! The only one compliant was that our internet didn't work (but who needs internet when on vacation!) Would recommend and can't wait to go back for a longer stay!

My wife and I (both in our late 40's) stayed here for 4 nights. While it is true that the aparment does not have a lift, the staff did carry our bags up to the apartment. We rather liked the character that the stairway had. The location is outstanding, in the center of the Gothic quarter and with the tube just a couple of blocks away. Having a kitchenette enabled us to buy groceries and eat in a few times. Overall a great experience!

Great hotel. Highly recommended. Definitely will stay there again for my next visit.

We arrived in Barcelona at 7:00 am. We were able to leave our luggage at the front desk and enjoy begin our vacation. The hotel is central close to subways to Cathedral, Ramblas and a few subway stops from La Familia Sagrada. The staff was very friendly and attive to our needs. I am definetly looking forward to retuning to Barcelona and Apartment in Gothic

this was just what I thought it would be lovely small apt with great location and room to have breakfast, glass of wine while enjoying walking around the city. If you are looking for 5star USA type hotel this is not for you, but if want in town reasonable price place to stay while seeing the sights is perfect. we had three people and had not problem with space.

The best part about this hotel was its convenient location, half a block from the Jaume I metro station in the Gothic quarter. Another plus was the relatively large room with kitchenette, roomy enough for two adults and a teenager. This was unit #8 on the 4th floor. Other rooms might be different sizes. Some people have complained about a difficult staircase and lack of an elevator. My room, at least, was served by an elevator, so I didn't use the stairs. Not sure whether all rooms can be accessed by elevator. The biggest drawback was noise. Each evening around midnight, garbage and street cleaning trucks came through. It sounded like they were in the room with me! Also, loud people in the streets and bars near the hotel could be heard well past midnight, even on weeknights. On Friday and Saturday, they were amazingly loud, as if a frat party were going on right in the room.

The staff were really helpful. Our arrival was delayed but they held the room for a day and then stayed late to enable us to check in. Excellent shower. Very narrow and steep stairs to get up to the studio apartment.

It takes 5 flights of stairs to reach our '3rd' floor room. It was a nightmare to navigate the single person spiral stairs with a backpack and a suitcase.

I found a bit over-priced but location was golden. It is right in downtown location with tons of great cafes and shps around. Only complaint is the deadly spiral staircase. Not only it's a safety hazard, also it's quite impossible to bring heavy bags to your room and there's no elevator what so ever! If you want to live like a local when you travel aboard like me, this could be excellent stay. This is literally an apartment in tight city neighborhood. Walking distance to everywhere, including sea side, rambra & traditional market. Reception is almosr non-existence since this is more like an apartment rental, not a hotel. For example, no sheet has been changed during stay.

Apartment was at excellent location and friendliest people who were running the place, specially Dee Dee.

Best points first. The staff was lovely. They did everything they could to accommodate me even allowing for an early check in, arranging a taxi and always pleasant. The building is in a busy neighbourhood in the evenings but as soon as I closed the windows, I heard no noise from the street. While I was there over a period of 48 hrs, the elevator worked twice, the wifi worked "most" of the time, the AC worked at two speeds-on or off. The bathroom towels had brown stains of them in the corners (?????). The toilet was really weird. I'm 5'6" and had a hard time sitting on it. My feet dangled about 3" above the floor. I had to jump off. For any wise crackers, it was not the sink-lol. The ever pervasive scent of mildew was everywhere in the Gothic district so I wasn't surprised when my room smelled like it. If you're up for an adventure, by all means, jump right in. If you want a cookie cutter hotel, go somewhere else brand name.

I stayed here with my partner for four nights. Unfortunately, our first impression was rather terrible. We waited on the street for half an hour or so, continually calling the phone number on the sign out the front, to be answered by the housekeeper who informed me that the desk attendant had gone to get a pizza. This was at 4 pm, an hour after check-in time was supposed to commence. We finally made it to our room after about 40 minutes, receiving no real apology upon their eventual arrival. A double room, as explicitly requested online as as well as verbally upon entering the complex, but we were provided simply with two single beds that had been pushed together. This was far from satisfactory, nor were they able to provide us with another room in the same building. All of this being said, the room itself was quite simple. Aside from the TV remote not working and the aforementioned bedding situation, the bathroom was clean, good air conditioning and comfortable bedding. A daily room service would have been preferred (we got new towels on the third day....), but it was all fine. Gorgeous balcony overlooking the fabulously bustling street. Service aside, a cute reasonably priced and clean room right in the middle of the gothic quarter. Make sure you call in advance to confirm your booking, room time and arrival time!

This is the second time we have stayed at Jaume1 in Barcelona. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the apartment is clean and modern. The location is in the Gothic section and close to Las Ramblas. We appreciated having the kitchenette and balcony. Judy D,/U.S.A.

Loved the location but the bed was terrible. Checking in was a challenge due to the arrogance of the guy checking us in. I found.him rude as well. Too many choices in this area to be treated that way!

location was excellent, staff was friendly and very helpful. Clean when we arrived but no daily services. Our apt. had no elevator and we needed a porter to take suitcase up the two flights of narrow winding staircases. Not recommended for seniors. Office only opened at 10 am but someone there till 4 am. No phone in room.

The apartment was clean and modern. It was very close to all the action of La Rambla and just a block from the Metro. A great place to stay, highly recommended.

En meget splittet vurdering: Beliggenheden var perfekt: I det gotiske kvarter, tæt på alt, og kun 100 m fra den store katedral. Lejligheden var på overfladen fin, men med to problemer: Det var umuligt at lukke støjen fra gaden ude (og den var markant), og sengene var stenhårde - lidt som at ligge på et tykt gulvtæppe. Hvis jeg skulle vurdere om jeg ville bo der igen: Nej, det ville jeg nok ikke, primært pga. sengene. Men jeg ville finde et andet sted i samme område, også selvom det kostede 100-200 kr mere per nat.

Le studio se situe au 3ème étage, au dessus d'un salon de coiffure. L'escalier pour y accéder est très abrupt, le studio est propre, récent, avec 2 lits simples, une kitchenette (frigo, grille pain, micro ondes, évier, quelques ustensiles), une petite TV écran plat, la climatisation et une salle de bains avec douche et WC. Le studio est idéalement situé, dans le quartier El Barri Gotic, à 100 m de la station de métro Jaume I et près de la cathédrale. Le bruit de la rue n'est pas gênant car les fenêtres sont en double vitrage. Seul soucis, sèche cheveux HS, fuite de la chasse d'eau et 3 spots de cramés.
