Hotel Orly - سانتياجو

We really enjoyed our stay at the Orly. They had decent breakfast with eggs, hotel staff was pleasant and very informative, and they have great restaurants located nearby. Wifi worked well, apartment was big, and the hotel is located within a 5 minute walk of the subway. Subway can take you to all the tourist sites within minutes but beware that there are high times when jt gets just as jampacked as subways in Tokyo. Hotel was in a nice safe neighborhood since it was located in Providencia. Our only complaint was that we got stuck with an apartment on the 2nd floor and it was extremely loud from the street noise. My husband and I thought that the windows were wide open when in actuality, they were closed! Request for a higher level floor if you can.. Luckily I had packed earplugs so I slept soundly every night but if you're a light sleeper, the noise will bother you. All in all, we would stay again but definitely request for a higher level next time around.

We had our first two nights of our three week south america stay her, all was good, food service, very comfy ( small rooms) they gave us an upgrade cause we had to wait an extra 5 mins for our room to be ready!!! Great service, nothing too much trouble.less than 5 mins to metro safe feeling in the area.

Enjoyed the hotel. Stayed in the apartment building which was great except we could never completely shut out the street noise. Windows were difficult to close. Otherwise, it is downtown, close to great restaurants, has a nice buffet breakfast, courteous, helpful, friendly and English speaking employees. Liked the hotel and the city.

We had one of the apartments few buildings down the main hotel building. Not sure if all their apartments are the same of if we got a better one but it was a decent size one bedroom apartment with small kitchen and living area. Overall, room was clean, hotel had a decent breakfast and in a beautiful neighborhood, full of small restaurants, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would stay here again.

We stayed in Hotel Orly while traveling to Chile for our honeymoon in March 2013. We stayed in one of the apartments (which are located in a separate building from the main hotel - a block away). The apartment was great - living room, kitchen, bathroom, and separate bedroom. Everything was clean and, for the most part, updated. We felt very safe in the room and enjoyed it! The apartments include maid service, but we couldn't ever quite figure out when the maids would come (sometimes early, sometimes late). The location is lovely- tree-lined street, with restaurants and cafes. The perfect laid-back location for the start of our honeymoon adventure. The room also included free drinks at the bar attached to the hotel - eh, you get what you pay for on that one! :) But, highly suggest this hotel. Great value for the price!!

loved the space and facilities in the apartment, but street noise bothered us at night (so bring ear plugs). Great location to see Santiago, good food at the restaurant too. Friendly staff!

Lovely old world type hotel....was upgraded to apt which gave us much more room and included a combo washer/dryer which came in very handy...we were extremely happy with the neighbor and how easy it was to get around from the area.

Great hotel, tastefully decorated, good WIFI, peaceful and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend it. Enjoyed it more than some more modern boutique hotel, as it feels homey.

I stayed at the Hotel Orly for 2 nights - 1 night at the start of my trip and 1 night at the end. I was more than happy with the hotel on both occassions. The service was great, the staff were all very friendly and attentive. On the 1st night I was lucky enough to receive a free upgrade - the room was fantastic! And on my 2nd night I was very lucky to get an early check-in (my flight arrived at 6am in the morning!). My only complaint would be that on the 2nd night my room smelt of cigarette smoke.....but I got use to it soon enough.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We actually stayed in one of the appartments almost a block away. I felt the accomodate was better than the hotel as it was much more spacious; living room, 2 bedrooms, bath, and small cooking area. Breakfast was provided at the hotel, and this was a short walk away, but it was no issue. The best part was there was a washer/dryer (one machine) in the room that was very helpful.

The was a lovely old mansion that is now a hotel. The staff was great...very helpful and their English was good. Delightful breakfast.

Great choice. Excellent breakfast and ambiance. Staff recommended a tour company which which we chose and it was an superb choice.

The staff was so helpful and considerate. They were better than you can find in five star hotels. They also had a really nice breakfast that was included the next morning. The only problem was a leaking air conditioner.

Best place to stay in Santiago. Great small boutique hotel in the French style. We stayed in one of their apartments for a week and found this to be ideal . Excellent service and ammenities.

Overall, fine, but thought the room was very small for the price. The bathroom was tiny too.

I spent two days at The Orly. Overall it was fine but there were a couple of liittle things that annoyed me. These being the constant billing (and marking up) into dollars. For example in the mini bar a beer was priced at 1600 $Ch, when i recieved the bill it was 8US$. Quite a difference. The same applied to the ironing of three garments. Of course having an iron in the room would have helped. Apart from that the stay was fine.

We loved our stay...the BEST part was the service. EVERYONE was helpful and went out of their way to answer all of our questions and be as much help as possible. Breakfast was perfect. I also want to say that room sizes vary..so if you purchase the least expensive room, you will get a smaller room. We upgraded to a larger room for the 2nd and 3rd nights and were much happier. This is a 3 star PLUS boutique hotel.

2nd time live stayed there and would stay in no other. Convenient, helpful, and affordable.

My husband and I have traveled quite a bit throughout South America and this was by far the best hotel yet! The rooms were clean and spacious with working plumbing and a delicious breakfast. We would stay here again if we are ever back in Santiago!

We arrived at 6am and could not have had a more friendly and efficient check-in. The Orly has a really nice feel to it, homely, friendly and classy.

I stayed at Hotel Orly for 3 nights the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful as I had not visited Santiago before. My room was cosy and very clean and the amenities were lovely. I would highly recomend anyone to stay at this hotel, it is well located approximtaley 3 blocks from the underground (easy to use).

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Orly. It's a decent place in a pretty good location. Our room was nice, although it was located near an alley and we heard a lot of noise from people below on a Saturday night, although we didn't hear anything on Sunday. Breakfast was fine and we enjoyed the seating in the atrium. It was not modern like another hotel we stayed at in Santiago, but it definitely met our needs.

Loved every minute of it.

We were very tired after a long days drive and the last 2 hours in rush hour traffic. When we arrived at the hotel the staff were very friendly, helpful and accomidating inspite of my crabby mood. I would definately recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Excellent location , handy to everything and the reception staff very helpful. Coffee and tea being Available all day was excellent as was baggage storage as we had a late flight out.

Hotel staff was very committed to their residents comfort and convenience. Everyone was very gracious when responding to any of our needs Location was very good for wallking and metro. Good choice of neighborhood restaurants and shops close by. We would definitley stay iln the Orly again.

excellent location, great hotel for the money

We actually stayed 3 nights in the hotel itself and 2 nights in 2 different rooms in the apartment down the street. The apartment, especially room 87, was great. It looked newly refurbished with white leather couch, 2 flat screen TV's and comfy king bed. The bathroom was small with shower only, but was functional and clean. The lobby and halls were a little tired looking but for the budget-minded traveller this was a fabulous place to stay. A decent continental breakfast was included and the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The room in the hotel itself was nice enough, but quite small and the safe was a tight squeeze for my ipad. The lobby was small, well-furnished and comfy. Bottled water was provided in each room daily, a nice perk. Wifi was free, but service was spotty.

We enjoyed our stay at Duque hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very accomodating. The hotel is small and charming with a private graden and small pool in the back. The room was small but nicely appointed and clean. The rooms had a safe and a tiny minibar. Wifi was free, and the lobby had computers for guests to use. Breakfast was very nice, and included eggs cooked to order. The subway was less than 10 minutes walk.

Loved this hotel - couldn't fault anything about it!

Nice place-- good management--small rooms but very comfortable and a good location.

I am so impressed by the service of this boutique hotel. I have never been to Santiago before and this hotel is quiet, central and has a great Buffet Breakfast in a nice cafe style courtyard. I would definitely stay here again, the key is to smile and they will be pleased to help you, that just goes with anywhere in Chile. I am staying in room 23, it´s a size of a bedroom, it´s not large but it certainly does the job. They clean the room and give you complimentary water and candies. I wouldn´t stay anywhere else based on what i´ve read and heard of other hotels in Santiago. The cafe downstairs is great, slow in service but that´s to be expected if you are on a holiday, if you are on a business trip, the patisserie/bread shop across the road is good if your on the fly. Also free Wi-Fi and internet room. They speak great English at the front desk which helps greatly if you don´t speak Spanish!

At first was a bit surprised and disappointed by the fact that the apartment room I had booked was over the road down the street from the hotel main building and in a block of flats but the apartment was a good size especially for a family and was clean. The staff at the hotel were lovely and very attentive and we left having grown very fond of the hotel and it's staff. The main hotel building is lovely and the food we ate there was excellent as well

O hotel Orly é muito bem localizado, mas achamos o hotel apenas razoável. Ficamos no anexo, que na verdade são quartos alocados a cerca de 100 metros do prédio do hotel em si. Os quartos ficam num edifício comum, sem controle de entrada, sem nenhum tipo de serviço. Apesar de ser espaçoso, o banheiro é muito pequeno, o box não fechava direito, o que molhava o chão todo, e o quarto, por ser voltado para uma avenida de muito movimento, tinha abrulho de trânsito. A calefação não funcionou. O café da manhã, sevido no hotel, era básico, sem nada especial. Nos dois dias em que ficamos os itens eram repetidos. Valeu pelo preço pago, mas não voltaria a me hospedar novamente.

Estive no hotel Orly recentemente (22/03 a 27/03), fiquei hospedado no anexo que fica no final da rua, os apartamentos possuem uma estrutura de casa, com cozinha, dois quartos, maquina de lavar e secar roupas, ferro, banheira e uma sala de estar bem agradável, tudo muito limpo e organizado, o café da manhã é servido no prédio principal, antes de viajar sempre li comentários dizendo que o café da manhã era fraco, não achei isso, o ambiente onde é servido o café é um clima bem colonial com jardim de inverno, o café é bem servido e com boas opções e durante toda a tarde tem frutas à vontade. Quanto a localização é ótima, fica ao lado da estação, fizemos vários passeios utilizando o metrô, na região é possível caminhar pelas ruas com ótimas opções de bares e restaurantes, o que estranhei que praticamente tudo fecha às 21h30, literalmente a cidade dorme.

Nos hospedamos nos apartamentos do hotel, que ficam a uns 100 m do mesmo. Acomodação confortável, aconchegante, moderna, bem equipada e muito bem localizada. Café da manhã saboroso em local charmoso. Equipe atenciosa, prestativa e gentil. Resumindo, uma estada memorável. Ah, não deixem de visitar o Bar Liguria, localizado ao lado do hotel! Ambiente super agradável, menu fantástico! E para quem gosta de uma boa (excelente) carne, recomendamos o Lomo Vetado. Simplesmente inesquecível.
