The hotel boasts breathtaking views of the countryside. The service was impeccable and the restaurant's food was great. The swimming pool was small, but the view more than compensates. The only drawback is that the shuttle service to the rest of civilization is infrequent and it is a long way out if you choose to take their complimentary bicycle to town. As a retreat away from our busy lifestyles, it was a godsend. Highly recommended!

The room is unbelievably large and well appointed- and we stayed in the smallest one! The service is excellent.The sound of the flowing stream, the wall of green outside the balcony, the sumptous, four-poster bed- all of it was a joy. Do visit the spa and ask for the foot reflexolgy treatment- it is terrific.If one has to find fault at all, it is the walk down to the room and back up again to the porch - you are talking of 30 steps each time. And while there is a shuttle to UBUD city, it is still inconvenient to visit the town

This place is one of those undiscovered gems; your room overlooks a forest / valley with a river running below. The service was great! the staff remember your name, and most importantly they accommodate your tiny requests here and there. No complaints about food. The villas are located 15 minutes drive from Ubud, and they have a shuttle service so you don't have to worry about not being near central Ubud. This place is definitely highly recommended.

Alam means natural and this hotel is set in one of the most beautiful natural settings I have seen. The villas are set into the side of the hill running down to the river . The villas are amazing, very large rooms with a beautiful verandah that even has a day bed, you have the feeling of being there by yourself because the other villas are well hidden. The staff were amazing especially the beautiful Puspa who was an incredible host. The food was good. Alam Ubud is a fair way out of Ubud but you can hire scooters from the hotel for a very reasonable price. There is an amazing deck jutting out over the river a beautiful place to to sit and take in the ambience. All in all a fantastic place to stay, I highly recommend it.

We spent five faboulus days at Alam Ubud up to Christmas last year. We booked this hotel expecting to be spoiled. And we really were.The bungalow were a delight and the staff were almost to service minded. I highly recommend a stay here.

The hotel was fantastic, a superb view of nature, and the service was excellent. The villa was big, spacious, clean, newly build and comfortable. If you wanted to stay in quiet and privacy, this will be suitable for you. Recommended for honeymooners. Overall, the hotel was focus and details oriented in satisfying the guests.

The hotel was so beautiful , the staffs were super friendly...rooms are amazing, swimming in that pool is like swimming in your dreams. the location is a little bit hard to find...and nothing is really around. Ubud is so beautiful and there are lots of shopping there. there is 15 min from hotel to ubud centre . transport has different prices, hotel transport is very expensive but you could find cheaper car in ubud centre. i and my family were in alam ubud for 3 nights and it was one of our best experiences to be in such an amazing place in the heart of nature.

We stayed in Alam Ubud for 5 nights with our 10 months baby. Service is very good nevertheless the hotel is quite far from Ubud and the shuttle bus is only twice a day (10am and 3pm). Restaurant is very good but expensive and there is no alternative around the hotel. Moreover, there is no much choice in the menu. The hotel environnement is very nice but some rooms are located at the bottom of the hill so it is quite tough to come back to the lobby. The room Bima 9 is the only bima room at the top of the hill. Just before the hotel, you can find some painting classes balinese traditional modern style at I Made Arka's house. He can also arrange tours.

I loved my stay in Alam Ubud. i think it deserves much more attention. Although i was quite sceptical at first as we arrived very late at night. None of the taxi drivers heard of the hotel nor know about it. Even looking at the address and map it did not help. But we called the hotel and they explained to taxi driver. the hotel is very far away from ubud center, and it is off the main road, have to drive up this narrow road into the villages. We were very skeptical at first. When we arrived, the lobby seems very simple, and we were very worried. They took us down to our suite. And oh my, that is when we realized maybe we have chose the right place. it was very pretty. although it is definately not modern but teh suit was amazing. We had our little villa downstairs away from other villas. The bed was huge with a mosquito net, but was a lovely huge bed with 4 pillars. There is a cupboard for amenities on side with TV and a lovely sofa. there is balcony, and it is not a small balcony. With two chairs, a table and a sofa bed. Lovely to chill outside in morning and afternoon. iw ouldnt recommend at night though, so much mosquitos. our bed was very comfy and the mosquito net was very useful as it parted me and the insects. as it is very near lake and near the nature, there will be ALOT of insects so do expect that. i found cockroaches, moths, lots of mosquitos. the bathtub was huge and it is afcing teh bed. although there is a glass door/long window to seperate the two. One problem was, The hot water runs out quite quickly and not even half a tbub. So even if teh bathtub is nice, not much use, I cant hav a decent bath. Although after few days they helped us to fix the prob, it took alot of time and hassle. The conw as the location. it is really a hassle to get to the city center. they do provide free shuttle service to city center. they told us soem time they could take us, but as not much people staying at Alam Ubud, they managed take us down when we needed. Incredible setting - the hotel has been designed carefully to make the most of the beautiful green surrounds. The infinity pool is amazing. Our villa was spacious and luxurious. Staff were attentive and helpful. We would love to stay again.

Spent 3 nights there last August, It was a real pleasure. The staff is great; the location is in the middle of the jungle, so if you are looking for a "retreat" it is the perfect spot; the pool is far more better that what you expect with the photos; the restaurant at the hotel is expensive compare to what you can find in Ubud, but you have to pay for the location as well, the menu is too limited and the quality is ok. The only problem is mosquitos !!! Because of the location, there are many mosquitos, so do not be afraid if you are coming back to your room and you find dead mosquitos ion the bed or on the floor. During these 3 days I did not get stung by any of them. Other problem the wifi is not always available in the villa. I would definitely recommend the hotel if you are not afraid of dead mosquitos.

I had the chance of staying for only 1 night in Alam Ubud (coming from a yoga retreat in Pacung and flying out the next day for Jakarta) but the experience was fantastic! I loved, loved my spacious room (Villa Bima) overlooking a flowing river whose relaxing sound of streaming water permeated the whole time I was there! The manager, Made was even so kind as to oblige me with a tour of the other villas so that when I return with my family, I may have the option of choosing another villa (though I was extremely satisfied with Villa Bima!) Though it is off the main road in Tegalalang, they have a free shuttle to bring you there for the artists' shops. But it's location for me was a dream! Hidden well among rice paddies and overlooking a river, it was a nice and quiet location so perfect for a honeymoon or a really restful vacation! I promise to return, this time with my husband!

The hotel is located in an isolated area where you cannot easily go out to have a walk without vehicle transportation, but the environment is stunning and the scenery is breathtaking.

Staying in Alam Ubud offers a quiet and private space for escape from the busy life. The landscape is splendid. No matter the rain, sunshine, fog, all give different pictures in the isolated hotel on the mountain.the infinity-edge pool is breathtaking. However, there are room for improvement . Before went to bed at around 11:20,we found the cotton quilt is very dirty, with many dark spot on it. it's not easy to see under the sheet. I call the reception and asked for a change. 2 staff came but they misunderstood my meaning because their English is not good. It took about half an hour for the change. This makes us worry about the sanitation

酒店位于山林中，附近有个村落。离机场有两个半小时的车程，距离UBUD20分钟车程。适合追求巴厘岛田园风光的游客。这里远离市区，所有用餐只能在酒店内，当然价格稍贵。只是入住的时候，酒店说他们的系统出了问题，酒店超额预订，我们本来定了三个晚上，只是让我们住一个晚上，第二天让我们搬到其他酒店，我们没有同意，他们帮我们安排了其他的房型，多了一个泳池，但是房间比以前的预订小了很多，其实我也没有在意。但是最后一晚，工作人员又让我搬到其他的房间，我当然很生气，那个经理还以为我不知道他们换了房型，其实预订很清楚，我表示了不满，那个经理安排了三个人的免费按摩作为补偿。不过酒店值得推荐，如果你想体验巴厘岛的乡村生活。

我們這次是家庭旅遊去住三房villa,晚上看完烏布皇宮表演回來後要洗澡才發現沒有熱水,他們弄了很久還是沒有熱水,當晚飯店經理給了我們另外三間兩人房的villa,不過那時候真的很晚了,走到其他villa要一段路而且路也蠻暗的只好作罷...帶著小孩洗了冷水澡,隔天早上就有熱水了~~~除此之外這家villa服務算是好的,為了熱水的事不斷道歉跟給了三個人30分鐘的免費按摩,加上他外面的梯田風景還不錯,騎腳踏車真的很愜意,環境很舒適所以我還是給他好評價~~~到烏布的接駁車有時間跟班次限制,時間之外要收費,請注意~~

이곳에서의 2박 3일은 지금까지 내가 다닌 여행중에서 최고였다. 난 이곳에서의 서비스와 호텔 스태프의 친철함을 잊지 못할 것이다. 그리고 다시 발리에 온다면, 난 반드시 휴식을 위해 여기를 올 것이다. 시간을 내어서 후기를 남기는 이유도, 보다 많은 사람들에게 이곳을 추천해주고 싶은 마음 때문이다. 여긴 강추!!!

这个酒店位于山谷中，晚上可以听着泉水声入眠，特别享受。空气很新鲜，湿度大。有个漂亮的小泳池，旁边就是餐厅，游泳休闲很好，叫东西吃特方便，还不算贵。最好的是服务态度，住了4个晚上，感觉很贴心。最后一天我们要赶早上的飞机，凌晨3点45出发。酒店免费送我们去机场，驾驶员早早就等在那里，非常敬业；还有2名服务人员守着，给我们做好早饭，打好包方便我们带去机场吃，很感动。

hotel récent, superbe. L'hotel est dans une ravine avec torrent et jungle très au calme dans un environnement de rizières. C'est sauvage et superbe. Beaucoup plus calme qu'a Ubud qui donne un peu une impression de surpopulation. personnel adorable et serviable. On ne va donc en dire que du bien...

ウブドの山奥に位置するため、空港から遠い、タクシーで1時間以上。タクシーを利用しないとどこにも行けないので、ヴィラ滞在を楽しむ人向け。崖を切り開いて建っているヴィラは、谷底のヴィラに泊まると、フロントやレストランとの往復アップダウンがかなりしんどい…息切れ。スコールの後は足元が滑りやすく、ヴィラに戻るのは少々危うい。スタッフ数があまり多くないので、きめ細かいサービスとはいかないものの、小規模ヴィラならではのアットホーム感あり。食事も奇をてらわず、スタンダードなものが多く、普通に美味しい。ヴィラは照明が多少暗く、読書に向かない。ヴィラは広々、バスタブも広々、シャワールーム完備。ただし、たまにお湯の出が悪くなり、あせることも。大自然に囲まれて、川のせせらぎ（というより激流の轟音と言ったほうが近いかも？）や鳥の鳴き声と共に、隠れ家的な非日常を過ごせる。スパもリーズナブルに満足の行くサービスを受けることができ大満足。2ヶ所あるプールは、あまり大きくないものの、キレイに手入れされている。プールサイドのデッキチェアに座って、プールと森林を眺めて過ごすと気持ちいい。

除了外部交通不便外，总体非常不错，安静，舒适，浪漫，不过长时间住会感太静了。适合蜜月或不想被打搅的住客

We arrived after a long (and not very comfortable) journey. But as soon as we arrived and saw the location of the hotel in absolutely fantastic surroundings we forgot that. Villas are perfect and very private. The hotel is in a somewhat isolated location with a 15 minute drive to Ubud, but its no problem to get a car to the town. We strongly recommend a visit to this hotel.

L'hôtel n'a que 6 mois d'existence, aussi il reste quelques petites choses à bonifier comme les services externes (chauffeurs, excursions) à noter que l'hôtel bénéficie de navettes gratuites pour aller en centre ville de Ubud. Que le niveau proposé par la restaurant est très bon, ne pas hésiter à le tester. Le cadre est fantastique, calme comparé à la foule du centre ville à 20 minutes en scooter de l'hotel.

We went there at late night and it was difficult to find it. But, the kind staffs came out for meeting us and welcomed a lot. Our villa was near the holy valley and the scene was great. We felt fully the nature and were relaxed well during staying there. You can feel the completely different atmosphere in Alam Ubud from resorts near beach areas. I fully recommend this resort and hope to visit again there~!

C'est tout simplement le plus agréable séjour, qu'il m'ai été donné de passer dans un hôtel. Le lieu est merveilleux. Le personnel est au petit soin, sans être collant. Le restaurant mérite des étoiles. C'est un endroit très calme, bercé par le bruit de l'eau du torrent en contre-bas. Idéal si vous venez pour affaire à Ubud ou si vous souhaitez passer votre lune de miel dans le calme.
