Warm welcome from lovely couple, very friendly, beautiful setting and beautiful b & b, breakfast great set us up for are days out. we've already recommended it to family & friends and look forward to going back ourselves!

Stayed b/b had a great time.Room was large and spacious,with modern on suite,with bath,and shower.The breakfast was massive with a great selection of cereals,juices,and the smoked salmon and scrambled egg was fantastic.Malcolm,and Shirley were very knowledgeable about the local places to go.Gardens of the hotel are well looked after,and the wild life,are encouraged and are in in abundance.

Warm friendly welcome, lovely property, spacious acleam comfortable room, spotless bathroom and a superb breakfast (sausages to die for).Cannot recommend strongly enough.

Lovely peaceful location, standing in its own grounds and well away from any traffic noise. Friendly welcome. Comfortable room and beds. Very clean. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved it. Although there is nothing within walking distance of this beautiful B&B, the owners are great and the room has everything you need. Breakfast was fantastic, the room was spotless. Highly Recommended.

Good quality accommodation. Very friendly welcome and help with luggage. All rooms on second floor. Our twin was large but had some sloping ceilings and a miniscule shower room. Very quiet. Excellent breakfast.

Large clean rooms and owners who go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your stay, would highly recommend!

High standard, well organised B&B with excellent facilities and very good breakfast service and quality.

The house was lovely and the surroundings amazing! Room 4 was large with a lovely soft bed and great views. Everything was very clean and tidy. The only draw back initially was that I was working in Barrow and the didtance (as the crow flies) is just over 5 miles however by road was over 25 miles and 1 hour by car. It wasn't an issue as I was awake in plenty of time for the delicious breakfast.

The b&b wad really comfortable. great breakfast, friendly owner, clean and spacious room. A little far from sightseeing spots but great country side surrounding.

We didn't have a sat nav so it was hard to find but worth it.

The B&B is about 30 minutes from the Sellafield nuclear installation, which is where I occasionally work. The location is a little remote, however the accommodations were extremely clean and the owners were excellent hosts. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed our stay there and would return again.

A warm welcome to a glorious Victorian house. Perfectly cooked breakfast, at a time convenient to you. Lots of help finding locations in the Lakes and surrounding area. Haverigg not the prettiest village, but we stayed here and ventured out, great beach and sand dunes though. Clean throughout and nothing too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely clean hotel with all the facilities you need. A scrumptious breakfast and two lovely hosts. Will be back next year. Highly recommended.

The B&B owners were super-nice Brits. The property was very pretty and the large home has huge potential for becoming an upscale inn. The entryway was cluttered with family stuff and should be stowed away. The first room of the mansion is used as their very pedestrian office and a disappointing welcome to their home. (One's first impression should be an elegant lobby.)Our room was newly constructed in the attic and had an excellent bathroom. Our only complaint was the bed--it needed a box spring under the hard and lumpy mattress. A small fan would have been a nice amenity since there is no AC in all of N. England. Again, the owners have excellent dispositions and are eager to please. I don't think this is a 4-star hotel, but a good 3.

Great house,lovely grounds,very clean rooms,couldn't fault it, will definatley stay here again,the owners will even take and pick u up from the pub,great if u fancy a drink or two !!!!! 10 / 10

Lovely building in peaceful surroundings. Owners were very friendly and accommodating, even found a travel plug for my wife's flat iron avoiding a hair disaster! Our toddler son had a great time crawling around their thick carpets too. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Cumbria area.

The foxcroft is an excellent b+b just outside Millom. it took a while to find after driving round Haverigg a few times so make sure you have the road name and b+b phone number with you. on arrival we were met at the car and shown to our room.(all 4 bedrooms are up two flights of stairs) we had chosen the twin bedroom which was loverly. small shower room. tea,coffee and biscuits.milk is kept in a small fridge on landing you help yourself (better than those small pots) you fill in a form to say what you would like for breakfast and hand it in back downstairs. we ate out that evening after being recommended a few resteraunts we choose an italian in millom (excellent ,book early as it gets busy) following morning had a walk in the grounds of the foxcroft, long driveway nicely planted trees and bushes. lots of lawned areas, went for breakfast ,fruit juices, cereals fresh fruit platter, full breakfast, tea-coffee toast. the b+ b as only been open since last year and as already achieved 4 stars,the host are really nice and friendly. we visited whitehaven.st bees. and barrow whilst we were in the area.

Tout est très bien, l'adresse rêvée pour se reposer dans le confort et la nature. Haute qualité des prestations et hôtes sympathiques.
