The customer service was fantastic. The entire staff went above and beyond to satisfy. I have to commend especially Paola , Susan and Carlos. An impeccable staff! To say the least. I will make Tradewinds my home in South Beach. What a stella staff !!!!

Great hotel! Quiet, modern ,convenient, clean. Hotel upgraded us to a large one bedroom room suite withour our asking.Overall completely satisfied and would definitely return.

Close to the beach, nice pool, great area to eat outside. The room was modern and had everything we need. The services was excellent, just ask they will provide. My favorite was the bikes, just go around 9 in the morning and u can have free bikes for the whole day! At night we walked 5 to 6 blocks to the party area and it was funtastic! Thanks for a great time!

I was quite please with this facility. Clean, Quite and reasonably close toSouth Beach business area. The only complaint I had was trying to get the hotel staff to respond to a service call to change my TV remote control from spanish to english programming. After an hour I had to go to the front desk to get a channel listing and still didn't get the remote reprogrammed. Disappointed I had to wash my own dishes, of which there were no dish towels. This leads to concerns with the cleanliness of dishes going in.

Way beyond what I expected - the place was beautiful, modern, spacious - and all for a very affordable price. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to us. Only two complaints - the WIFI was horrible, which wasn't a huge issue but a minor inconvenience. The other complaint would be that you have to do your own dishes upon leaving. Again, not a huge deal but why are they going to clean your toilet when you leave and not your dishes? When you pay to stay somewhere with a kitchen you generally expect they will do your dishes when you leave (if you don't clean your dishes you will get charged $50) ... Besides these two minor things, we absolutely loved this place and would definitely stay there again. We will be looking it up next year for sure!

We loved it here, a litlle tricky to find first time but other than that nothing but good things to say about hotel and staff.

Stayed there for a conference and was great.

When checking in, the front desk staff warned us that construction was taking place next to our room but assured us it should not be a concern because no one had complained about the noise. There was heavy construction taking place with a backhoe digging 10 feet from our back exit door, which was off of the bedroom. It was impossible to sleep. We complained but were told there were no other rooms available. Thankfully, there was no construction over the weekend so we only dealt with that noise 2 mornings during our stay. Also, we were in a first floor unit and the noise from the unit above was very loud and woke us up every night. (They were simply walking in their unit). You could tell the unit had been recently remodeled but it was done very poorly. Loose tub filler, missing grout, missing molding; no knife or hand towels in the kitchen, very inconvenient. Pool area was nice. We will not stay here again and we were very surprised by the high rating from Trip Advisor.

Got an upgrade from a Studio to a 1 bedroom, didn't even had to ask. I was very pleased with the accommodations and the only bad thing i have to say is that the hotel has extremely limited parking. I paid $30 to park overnight at a nearby garage.

Rooms were huge. Plenty of space. A bit musty but overall it was a great option close to South Beach but not right on the strip.

I found myself stranded in Miami due to bad weather at home. I booked a three night stay at the TradeWinds because they offered a great price and free shuttle from the airport. I was able to do laundry onsite, cook my own meals, and enjoy the lovely pool. The staff are very friendly, the property is very well kept and they offer free happy hour from 7-8pm at three of the sister hotels. They have bikes for rent but you have to place your reservation early, as they are quite popular. I enjoyed the walk to and from the main drag and liked that I was not in the middle of the party life. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone (single, couple, family, etc).

I read all the reviews about this hotel before I booked it and was very pleased I did. The price was unbeatable. The location is two blocks away from the beach, but everything was easy to walk to. The hotel has an awesome shuttle service and the driver was always willing to take us further than the planned route. The room was cleaned well every day - even when we didn't leave the room until 1 or 2pm. The service was great and everyone was friendly. Parking is difficult, but that's everywhere in Miami Beach. We told the attendant at the lot around the corner that we were staying a week and he gave us a great discount.

The best hotel Apartments...will definitely stay there again....!

Enjoyed it very much. Only problem was parking

I booked a studio and was given a full 1 bedroom. The unit itself was fabulous - roomy, comfortable and clean. The hotel is just a few blocks from the beach, but about a mile from the Lincoln Road pedestrian mall, and not much of interest between the two. The major drawback to this hotel is the parking. It is pricey and there are no other viable alternatives. It should be included in the hotel fee, but it isn't. Also, there is construction between the hotel and the parking lot which makes for a muddy/sloppy walk to the car.

We stayed here for three nights and chose this place because of the previous ratings which all seemed positive. However we were not very impressed with the staff or overall cleanliness of the room. It looked the part with Art Deco furniture and neatly displayed towels, but we had a cockroach in our room and when we alerted the man on front desk he told us he could not move us, and that he would call the exterminator who would be round the next morning. No exterminator came, and the problem was not acknowledged by the hotel again. Additionally the laundry service is done by a card which you not only have to buy for the price of $2.00 but the machine you purchase it from does not take one dollar bills, or coins. Therefore you are forced to buy $3.00 of credit. If you are only staying here a short time, this is certainly not worth it. It is however in an ok location, but wouldn't recommend for lone travellers as have to walk a couple of backstreets on the way home at night. If we were to stay on south beach again, I would choose somewhere actually on Collins Avenue or better still Ocean Drive.

The hotel was different from your normal franchises. It is an apartment style hotel and very spacious. I was warned by other reviewers about bringing a car. I ignored that and found myself stuck the first night looking for parking. The hotel staff was helpful and made note that I needed parking. Once a parking spot was available (they have limited parking space), they notified me (extra fee per night but worth it). Overall, the place was good/clean, the staff was friendly, and I would consider staying there again sometime.

Big room, good location, sucky parking, comfy bed, friendly staff, great value. Be careful with the bathtub... it is very slippery.

This is best for extended living condtions. 1 week or more the only problem was the construction of the streets. make sure you have the housekeeping come in the early am or you will not get service. The parking is an adddtional expense but overall a good place to stay. I will stay again if I have an extended stay.

A very relaxing little oasis after attending a trade show at the convention center. Since I was there for a week, I appreciated the full kitchen to keep some basics on hand and not have to go out for every meal. The staff was very helpful. Free shuttle to and from the airport.

Room we where given wasn't clean-the guy at checkin wasn't helpful at all. Finally got a clean room but it still had things wrong with it.

thought it was very nice clean Suite, i would have wanted a telephone in the room, but otherwise, very enjoyable.........

These apartments are two blocks from the beach, without the by-the-beach expensive hotel rates. Nice rooms, with kitchen included, two big TV's, i-pod station/radio, free wi-fi. Only one problem: the room was not cleaned one out of 5 days. One convenience store is one block away, and a Walgreen's is two blocks away. Two blocks from Collins Ave. where you can get on a bus and go everywhere. Within walking distance from the Holocaust Memorial, the Botanical Garden; about six blocks away from Lincoln Road Mall. In conclusion, I recommend these apartments for their affordable rates and convenient location.

Everything was great just the the cleanliness of the room was bad!

Overall it was awesome. Very clean. Very spacious. The only bad thing I would say is that parking is not easy. They only have street parking for short term stays and if it is full...

I arrived very late at night and the hotel accommodated that, which was great. The room was kept very well, no marks or anything around the place. Very clean. Definitely recommend it.

The stay was great! I felt like I was in my own apartment. It was comfy and cozy! Me and my lover had a great time! We will stay here again!

This facility is great for an extended stay. You are renting an apartment. We stayed in a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. It has a full kitchen with all necessary utensils and a small coffee machine, a dining area and living room complete with a fold out couch for extra sleeping arrangements. Each main room had a large flat screen TV mounted to the wall. In the living area there was also a desk set up as a laptop/work station and a stereo to play your favorite music. Our apartment shared a patio with our neighbor and opened to the pool deck, which made evening swimming very convenient. During our stay, the Tradewinds offered beach towels, beach cruisers, an open bar happy hour, and an airport shuttle for the guests. Our apartment was stocked with general amenities/toiletries like standard hotels and also included pots, pans, dishes, ice cube tray, dish soap and sponge. The housekeeping staff were available daily and they emptied all trash bins, changed towels and sheets, dusted and cleaned the floors, and restocked amenities as needed. Their timing was sporadic and they did not pay attention to the “do not disturb” sign on the door. Although they cleaned each day, there were some items that needed additional attention. For instance, upon our arrival, there was still hair in the tub. Overall, it was worth staying at the Tradewinds based on the price, comfort of the apartments and being close enough to the beach to walk is wonderful.

Very nice flat screens in bedroom and living room. Stove fridge kitchen table . Plenty room just kinda for from ocean dr and the main strip. Also room service leaves at night. They forgot to bring us toliet paper on the last day. If your looking for a apartment over just a hotel room this is perfect. Pots and pans for cooking also at room. Only problem is that if your trying to go to collins or ocean drive where most of the people are u have to check a cab or walk.

This is a great, calm hideaway in easy walking distance to beach, bars, shopping, etc. Runners: The walk to the beach will take you directly to the beginning of the boardwalk, a great place for a morning jog (turn left). Or, turn right at the beach and walk along a nice path down to the action along south beach. Or, walk down Collins Road to Jerry's Famous Deli, open 24 hours. The hotel itself is very clean, a bit spare, but comfortable in a non-cluttered way. It is very convenient to have a kitchen available if you're staying for any length of time. I will definitely stay again.

I enjoyed my stay immensely and was pleasantly surprised to discover such a luxurious apartment at a hotel price! The complex itself is quite lovely with tables and chairs throughout the grounds and a charming pool. The front desk staff is highly professional and very helpful. Perhaps best of al is that the hotel is within two blocks of Collins Avenue where the action is. I will definitely be back and I've already told my girlfriend where to stay when she visits Miami!

Before you book here, you need to know a few things. On the positive side, it's clean and well located on the fringe of South Beach. Also, being young and impervious to noise, inconvenience, and indifferent staff is definitely a plus. Unfortunately, I am none of those things. Do not look for phones, clock radios, soft sheets, spacious bathrooms, or in-room movie channels: they are not there. What is there (at least in the one-bedroom I stayed in) is an adequate kitchen, trendy but functional furniture, and a location four blocks from the convention center and about two from a 24-hour Walgreens-with-everything. You might save a little money here, but don't look for quiet enjoyment. There isn't any. Oh ... and if you don't look like a model or weighlifter, you probably shouldn't hang out by the tiny pool. You'll definitely be out of place.

There is no telephone in the room : what would happen if we needed help ???? Is this legal ?This is the first time I have had this problem. I had to use my cell phone to call front desk. Housekeeping was not done regularly, I had to call the front desk from my own cell phone There are no dish towels Our slippers were black from the floors not being washed. I would definitely not recommend this aparthotel.

we had overall a nice experiance -2 things we did have problems with- the shower had no pressure and the temp. was really bad but they then changed our room also we didnt expect such a large place with so many pple on the pic. it looks alot smaller(less pple)
