Hotel Guia - ماكاو

The hotel was quite comfortable. It was not too far from the centre of the action but some may not like the walk up the hill to get back. Taxis are very cheap and plentiful though. Food was very good. Some language problems with housekeeping staff but very friendly and easily overcome. Good value as Macau accommodation is generally expensive for what you get. WiFi was a bit patchy during peak periods. Laundry service was excellent and very cheap. Just enough English at the front desk to get by so no problems.

Pretty happy with this hotel except for the location. Although it is quiet...it's at least a 10 minute walk to the heart of Macau.

Can opt out for the breakfast which comes with limited choice. The service staff in the restaurant is rude but the check-in counter staff is friendly. A stay which is an escape from the downtown but still have a quick access to it. Scenic view from my hotel room relaxes my mind that I enjoyed most.

The room is generally clean. The room also comes with a bath tub. When we returned, our room has already been tidied. The location of the hotel is on top of a hill, and returning at night can be quite tiring. The hotel has its own free shuttle, but the interval is 1hr.

I stayed here for 2 nights. It was a wonderful experience. Macau is a small place. Although tucked away from the City's center, it is not too far from most of the tourist sites. It is next to the Guia Lighthouse & fort (historic monument). The restaurant serves excellent Chinese cuisine. I would likely return to this hotel on my next visit to Macau.

We liked the location. Sometimes tough to get a taxi, but that seems to be the case almost everywhere in Macao. The view was very nice from the 5th floor. We liked being close to a large park. We had dim sum at the restaurant, and that was OK. Good, not great. We liked the interior layout. We found the room to be large enough, reasonably clean (not spotless), and overall comfortable. I'd recommend it for a family that doesn't need to be right in a casino. We are not gamblers, so were more interested in the historic area than the hotel and casino strips.

As hotels in Macau can be very expensive, Hotel Guia provided the right balance between cost and benefit for me and my girlfriend. Located in a walkable distance from Macau's main touristic attractions we found this hotel very attractive regarding the local traditional or casino-like options. The only minus is the absence of western food options in the hotel's restaurant menu, which is not really a negative point as most hotels in Asia are targeted at non-western travellers.

No room service..No in room ameneties.. Stipr joint at the hote bar ..thus getting all kind of people in the same elevator.Not reccomemded for family.

I thought there was going to breakfast but it was dimsum instead. There were no movie channels as advertised. The staff were great and very helpful. The free wifi is in the lobby. It was so hard to get a taxi driver who new where it was. The view was great and the room was clean.

Clean rooms . good air cond. Staff not helpful . Inconvenient location as it is not within walking distance to restaurants or shops or attractions.The hotel coach to the ferry terminal (where the free coaches to the casinos were stationed) was heavily booked so one could miss out. It would be helpful it the frequency of the trips to the ferry terminal was flexible and more frequent

The hotel front desk could barely speak English but helpful. Nobody speaks English in their restaurant. The wifi connection for the internet is very poor, very slow and quite frustrating to check your email and surf the web. I am not recommending this hotel.

Room on small size with no bench for cases so had to open on floor. Staff courteous, English sufficient. Chinese food only for breakfast (Dim sum any kind as long as it was dim sum). Dinner O.K. Good position next to park (Fort Guia) with bus stop close by. Had to complain about no free bottles of water in room. After complaint the water appeared. If you get a good price then I would recommend it but we paid thru the nose because it was holiday time in China. It definitely wasn't worth the 5 star price we paid.

Checking in wasn't too bad. Language barrier (English) was a little tricky, but could have been worse. The room was clean and hotel was okay. The beds were small and very very very hard. Felt like sleeping on the floor might have provided more comfort!

Having most hotels easily cost over 200USD/night in Macau. Guia Hotel is probably one of the cheapest hotel you can find. But don't let the price misleading your perception. It's very clean, very comfortable, and service is excellent. However, the only advantage of this hotel is its location. It is located on the uphill, although to be honest it is still within walking distance, I will say it's within 10minutes walk downwards from hotel to Old/New Lisboa Casino. But walking back to the hotel is a little tiring after all the sight seeing and money losing. But as Macau city is not a very big place, everything is close by and taxi does not cost much going from one place to another. Guia hotel itself provides free van taking you from hotel to some places, booking in advance is required. It is a satisfactory stay overall, and I will stay there again in my future travel, and it is highly recommended to other travelers for whom wish to find reasonably priced with good hotel standards.

The hotel promised free shuttle bus service but when we got there and rang them the second time to confirm the arrival of the shuttle bus, they said the driver left because they couldnt see us. The receptionist told us to catch a taxi instead. That was a really bad service in terms of customer service. Overall the hotel is clean and close to the city center if you walk from the back of the hotel. But the strip club at the bottom of the hotel is quite loud in the middle of the night. You can hear the thumping of the music

It was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They also let me leave my luggage there for a few hours after checkout. It is a little further away from some sights, but right next to the Guia Fortress, and it is on the Macau Grand Prix course. The restaurant served only Chinese food at breakfast, so I just walked down the hill and to the left and got some food at a bakery, and fruit at the market for breakfast each morning.

Very small room, cute, but lack a few things. No in room safe and no heat. Serious, no heat. housekeeping had to bring in a portable heater. NO double of king bed either. Got 2 small twin beds. No room service. Nice people working there , however. The nightclub did not bother me, as the entrance is off another side street. My floor was high enough i ddi not hear anything.

今回で、3回目（計１０泊）利用をし、その都度フロントでは要件に対し適切な対応をして頂いた。部屋に関しては、少しピローが合わない気もしたが、個人の差なので仕方がない。備え付けの設備も、ドライヤーが少し使いづらいぐらいレベル。

Hotellille pääsee keskustasta mm. bussilla nro 6, kertamaksu kolmen MOP luokkaa - tasaraha varattava. Lentokentältä ei suoraa bussia. Taksi keskustassa alkaen n. 20 MOP. Hotellilla ilmainen kuljetus lauttaterminaaliin muutamia kertoja päivässä. Hotelli sijaitsee hieman keskustan ulkopuolella rinteessä. Matkalle kannattaa ottaa mukaan hyvät kävelykengät: Macau on hyvin mäkinen paikka. Huoneessa on kaksi ilmaista isompaa vesipulloa ja teetä sekä vedenkeitin - ei kahvia.

客房清潔好好 , 係酒店位置不太方便, 酒店送了幾杯飲品!!

加了錢升級的豪華客房比朋友的普通房還要小一點=.= 景觀是幾好, 如果看賽車一流。wifi 接收得很差, 有等於冇。廁所的趟門不能完全關上。選這裡是因為鄰近工作的地方, 但一般遊客行上一段斜坡會很辛苦。

很干净整洁，周边交通也很发达。

並沒有按指示提供雙人床之安排。環境優靜， 但酒店、鄰近沒半點休閒、舒緩活動提供。

总体感觉挺好，有个小露台可以喝茶，吹风挺好的。

普段利用しているホテルの料金が軒並み高かったので、到着当日に１泊だけ利用。部屋はこじんまりながらも清潔で想像以上。ただ、wi-fi無料とあったが全く接続できず。その旨をフロントに伝えたところ、英語の話せないスタッフが来て、“wi-fi no good, sorry" とだけ笑いながら言って去って行った。この対応にはかなり不満。結局チェックアウトまでwi-fiは一切使えず。また、朝食付きのプランであったが、中華のみで自分にはきつかった。あと、場所に関しては、事前に丘の上と知っていたので特に問題なかったが、チェックアウト後のタクシーは本当になかなか来ない。

Hotel is only 0.2 km to Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion which is the venue for our sports event. Room is nice & clean, smoke-free environment with good view. Just a few steps to the Guia Hill Fort and running trail which is absolutely great for jogging and relaxation in the morning or evening. Many small restaurants nearby. Walking to Ruins of St Paul is only 1.2 km. Overall, a very comfortable stay for us.

전반적으로 깔끔하고 괜찮은 편이에요~ 근처에 가이아 포구 외에는 없는 조금은 외진 지역이지만 저렴한 편인 가격 등을 고려하면 만족스러웠네요~

價錢唔貴，但地方超正，一定會同老婆再嚟住(今次兩條儍佬)。如鐘意自助遊，又唔鐘意gambling,如果Iike行山的話就一定要嚟住。Hotel後面就是Macau出名公園。

値段が安かったので宿泊してみましたが、やはり値段なりですね。せっかくの旅行だったので、もう少し良いホテルを予約すればよかったと後悔しました。たまたま寒い日だったのですが、部屋の暖房が全く効かなかったのには参りました。
