The hotel could hardly be more conveniently located; it's a short walk to the Central Station and right at the beginning of the main shopping street on the other side. Additional points for the wireless network that worked flawlessly and for free.

My room was very clean, comfortable and spacious; it included a sitting area (small table, two chairs), desk and chair, and attached (small but adequate) ensuite. I booked a double, not realising that the bed would be two singles pushed together (friends have told me this is not uncommon in NL). The complementary breakfast is served buffet style - in addition to cold cereal and juice there were warm boiled eggs, cold meats, several cheeses, fresh and stewed fruit, multiple types of bread, and spreads. The staff were at all times friendly and courteous, unobtrusive, and knew each of the guests by name. I stayed at the Apollo for a conference, which was convenientally held only a couple of minutes away. The hotel is a short walk from the railway station and close to buses; it is also opposite a large bicycle storage area.The Apollo is on a major shopping street, right on the central circle and close to several pubs and restaurants. This is fantastic for shopping, dining and drinking (there's a smaller supermarket about 5 minutes north up the Hamerstraat, and a larger one in a nearby shopping centre). I partiularly enjoyed dinner at Claudius next door - attentive staff, delicious food and a truly extravagant dessert! Unfortunately, though the hotel itself was quiet, the close proximity to these other facilities meant the street noise at night was quite loud. Had the windows been double-glazed my time at the Apollo would have been perfect; as it was, my experience was excellent and, should I return to Nijmegen I will also return to the Apollo.

Meget fint hotel og billigt. God placering. Mindre gode parkeringsforhold.

Koselig lite hotell nær severdigheter, handlegater,utesteder og jernbanestasjon. Grei standard.

Nadat ik mijn bril in mijn kamer had laten liggen, heeft het hotel deze naar mij teruggestuurd. Ik was hier blij mee! Prima bed, goed ontbijt. Vlakbij "de Vereeniging ". Na een bezoek aan de concertzaal, waren we zo in ons hotel.

Het Hotel ligt op 10 meter van de winkelstraten en terrassen.
