The RCB Patong Hotel - كاتو

All 6 people in our group really liked this Hotel. The hotel was more on the modern side, rooms were clean and comfortable for the most part, Bathrooms were nice and new with full bathtubs (showers have the ability to go really hot if you're the type of person that needs that), Beds were a bit on the firmer side, Patios were good to have, although neither side of the hotel has a view of anything except the surrounding buildings. Free Wifi and wired internet in every room. The wall outlets fit american and euro 2 prong plugs, but voltage is 220V so as long as the input voltage on your adapter shows as "110V - 240V" you'll be fine (that includes most cell phone chargers). TVs were LCD but small (25"), and there was lots to watch, tons of local, american, euro, indian, and hk channels (not that you'll be in the room much). The only downside was that there was ongoing construction from around 8am to 4pm daily, which didn't affect us much as we were usually out and about by 9am, but other guests did complain. Looks like they're expanding the hotel. The location was perfect, 2 blocks from the beach, less than 1 block from Bangla Road (far enought that you dont hear the noise, but close enough that you can walk there within a couple of minutes), across the street from Banzaan Market, half a block from Juceylon Mall, and right behind Bangla Boxing Stadium. There's a 7-11, 3 Currency Exchanges, Laundry (50 bhat / kg), and Scooter rentals all within 100 feet. All in all a Great Place!

Good value motel, close to night life but quiet. Staff were friendly, breakfast was okay but nothing flash. Very much like an average Australian city motel, nothing to complain about but did not have a resort 'feel' to it. A good place to stay if you simply require somewhere to sleep. There is no tropical garden area etc to sit around in. Swimming pool on top of the resort is too exposed to the sun to spend much time in. They charge a 'joiner' fee if you take a girl back to your room.

I can only recommend this hotel for party people, who like to go out for party near Bangla street, cause this is only about 5 min. to walk. Very noisy because on the one hand, the Thai boxing stadium is only 100m far away, events start at about 9 pm till midnight, and below and beside the stadium there are some lady bars with loud music but not very crowded, music finish late after midnight. (but if you go out all night, no probleme) Shopping mall is very close, for catching some food and for a shopping trip on day time. Hotel is new, built last year as I keep in mind. But rooms are poor equipped, no hair dryer etc. Rooms are clean so far.

This hotel is very nice, the staff is very nice, the breakfast is very convenient, the hotel is conveniently located near all the shops, I can highly recommend it!

Convenient & great location, next to Jungceylon and with street hawkers, shops and markets just across the road. And 5 mins walk to Bangla Street....Most facial & massage centres are located within Jungceylon, however, RCB has its own massage centre offering the same rate at 300 baht. Not crowded, good and friendly masseurs. Reasonable pricing for such clean hotel. The lady staff is friendly and helpful and even walked us to our room. Request room not facing the boxing stadium if not can be quite noisy. The wifi did not work on the first day, but managed to get connected the following 2 nights. Not much of a concern too, as hotel provide 2 stations for free surfing at ground floor lobby. Just across the street, there are few travel agents. You could arrange city tours, islands stopover & airport transfer (150baht for minivan). ranging 1200 - 1800baht for 2 pax depending on package. Greeted by the lovely smile of hotel & massage centre staff.....Will definitely stay again.

מיקום מעולה בפטונג ביץ' בריכה מדהימה על הגג. חדרים נחמדים גדולים ונקיים. מיקום מושלם בסמוך לקניון 5 דקות מהכביש, בית המלון נמצא ליד אצטדיון אגרוף,אבל חשוב שהחלונות יפנו לכיוון ההפוך (רעש מהאצטדיון) ארוחת בוקר טובה מאוד ,שירות מצוין. הייתה לנו בעיה בהזמנת בית המלון באנטרנט, במקום זוג+ילד יצא לנו הזמנה לזוג, וברגע שהגשנו את התופס שבו הייתה מצויינת ההזמנה המקורית, ותוך עשר דקות סידרו לנו חדר לזוג+ילד.

Hotelli sijaitsee aivan keskustassa. Vieressä ostoskeskus, fresh market ja vain noin 300m Bangla roadille. Hotelli siisti, huoneet asialliset. Sänky huoneessa todella kova (ken tykkää, ken ei, itse koin hyväksi asiaksi). Kylpyhuoneessa amme ja erikseen kylpypyyhkeet ja rantapyyhkeet. Huone kannattaa pyytää parkkipaikan puolelta niin melun määrä pienempi. Aamiainen kohtalainen. Hotellin katolla pieni uima-allas ja aurinkotuoleja. Hotellin henkilökunnan kielitaito kohtalainen. Hotelli sopii sinulle, joka haluat liikkua keskustan alueella jalan ja tykkäät iltaelämästä.

位置很方便，旁邊就是帆船商場，Big C超市酒吧街盡在附近，還有夜市，食物非常有特色!!行去海灘亦相當近。要求方便的絕對是好選擇。房間都很新淨整潔，唯獨不明白馬桶處有尿味，沖不走的!!我住707是尾房，wifi收得很弱。整體上很不錯，晚間的員工服務態度比日間的員工好。

地理位置優越, 隔離係Jungceylon, 對面是Banzan Market, 附近是酒吧街, 晚上有好多小食檔口, 可惜客房衛生程度一般, 有小昆虫, 酒店職員很不小心, 有一晚回房時, 發現酒店職員清潔完之後沒有關門, 幸好沒有財物損失

ムエタイのスタジアムがすぐ近くにあり、夜は少しうるさいが、通りを渡れば市場と屋台街があり、その少し先にはジャンクセイロンもありとてもありがたい。ビーチへも繁華街のバングラ通りへも徒歩圏内なのでロケーションは最高です。ホテルの従業員は、良くいえばフレンドリー、悪くいえば２流です。サービスのいいゲストハウスといったところです。

clean and confortable, near to jungceylon and bars but quite in room. wifi is free. 15 mins on walk to beach
