The hotel is perfectly pleasant as far as hotels go. However serice is slow and in some places non-existant. On two occasions my request for breakfast in my room was ignored and on another a request for a taxi was 'never received' 40 minutes after my call was was made. There seems to be no follow up to guest requests and little apology although I was offered a free transfer to the airport upon complaining overall on check-out. Although the hotel is close to Dubai Mall roadworks and diversions make the journey there long winded and expensive. Take the hotel limo as it has access to roads taxis aren't allowed to use.

I have stayd at this hotel and it is clearly going degrading.The room was very smelly and quite dirty.The breakfast was badly cooked and the variety was poor.Regards / Niels

I felt like this hotel represented a good value relative to other options. It is close to the Dubai Mall; the rooms were clean; the breakfast was good; all the employees were very helpful. A slight disappointment was the slow Wifi, but I just used wired access and everything was fine.

This was the most expensive night of our 10 day drive through UAE. The hotel is new and looks impressive. It, like all of Dubai, is in the middle of a construction site. This is not a criticism as that's just the way it is. The hotel staff were helpful and did their best to make our stay comfortable. Unfortunately the hotel has an atrium construction and many smoking rooms. Our first room was on the floor above the smoking floor so everything reeked of cigarette smoke (of course someone was probably smoking in the room anyway). We were moved to a floor further away but given the atrium construction everything smells of cigarettes. Lovely room with great views. The smallest pool I have ever seen so that's a waste of time. When you go to Dubai you always have to compromise. I never expect things to be right and understand the way things work but I do expect to be able to have non-smoking as non-smoking

stayed here for 6 nights and i was not happy. the customer service is absolutely rubbish and let the entire hotel down. They were not willing to help and had a very "not bothered" attitude. Was forced to stay as i prepaid but i do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Radisson Blue downtown was perfectly located 7mn walk to dubai mall, very nice and helpful staff, very comfortable room with a lot of drawers and space, everything was perfect except the internet connection was so weak that we spent all our stay without internet and they should add Euronews in their TV channels.If we go back to Dubai we'll definitely stay again in that hotel.

Very bad room service, service personal seem to be very much under qualified to work in a 4 star hotel.

I booked a corner suite which was upgraded to executive suite for free because of unavailability of the former. A good display of service, but I had traveled for several hours with my family and when we got into the room we found trash and food leftovers on the tables and someone had clearly been resting on the bed. When complaining the cleaning crew came swiftly and cleaned up, but after they left I opened the minibar and discovered that a wine bottle and beer bottle had been emptied and put back inside the minibar, so we had to call the reception again to explain and get it restocked. As an apology, we got a tray with some fruit and marshmallows with chocolate dip. It was a nice gesture, but we would rather have a clean and restocked room from the start than some sweets for having to wait for a long time. I'll give the hotel the benefit of doubt and assume that this is not too common, so I'll give it 4 out of 5 since the rest of our stay was nice, and the restaurant had a good selection of tasty food.

Location was minutes from Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. I had a corner suite with a nice view of that area.

The hotel receptionists were so helpful and made our stay easy especially that I was traveling with my old mum and a kid. The hotel is clean and family oriented. Breakfast was bad with not many varieties for a buffet. What I really suffered from was that there was no taxi rank only hotel taxis which cost a fortune. You are lucky to catch a taxi if it dropped some guests. You have to contact the hotel who said call before half an hour if you need a taxi. If you come from Dubai Mall to the hotel it's no more than 7 minutes by car BUT to get to Dubai mall the taxi needs to make a HUGE U-tern which is about 15 minutes. So to walk to the mall was easier and cheaper but impossible for me because of the people I was traveling with. I will not go back to this hotel because of its location which makes it far from everywhere and has no taxis.

We received excellent service and a reduced price upgrade to a great 18th floor room with breakfast. The hotel bar has an uninterrupted view of the Burj Khalifa.

I chose this hotel for how close it is to the Dubai Mall. The staff were all very courteous and quick. No one seemed to be lingering for a tip either. They provided free bottles of Aquafina water. The free wifi was really fast and fairly easy to use. I did use the fitness center twice. It looks nice, but the StarTrac treadmills are a bit of a let down. Would be better if they had Life Fitness treadmills instead. I will stay here again in the future.

This hotel was within walking distance to the Dubai Mall, but itself was in the middle of a construction zone in an area that is being built up. The place was clean and the staff was wonderfully helpful and pleasant. The only complaint about the service in the hotel was the length of time for room service, which took about an hour and a half. This was only a major issue because we had small, hungry children with us. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone needing a place to stay near the Business Bay.

I enjoyed my stay here and had a great view of the Burj Khalifa. The hotel is very new because the carpet outside the lift on the 24th floor hadn't yet been laid! It is very close to the Dubai Mall and you can be at the hotel in a couple of minutes. However, getting back there is not so easy - there is currently no direct road to the Mall so you have to loop around the city centre. (I'm not sure if it is possible to walk as there didn't seem to be any pedestrian walkway. Fortunately taxis are inexpensive. Although there is still a lot of building going on, I quite enjoyed looking down on the activity from my room. Overall, I was happy with my stay there and the hotel staff were very good.

The hotel provides a shuttle to Dubai Mall which is a very convenient service. However, the shuttle is very small and could not accommodate most visitors. During my three nights stay, I only used the shuttle once. The hotel is located 1km from Dubai Mall. However, it may take 4km to go to the mall using a shuttle or a taxi. This situation may change in the future as roads are being constructed in the hotel area.

I stayed here this past week September 13th-16th. First off I want to say the staff was polite, attentive and first rate. The room comfortable and clean, with regular daily service. The hotel shuttle ran regularly to the Dubai mall and picked up on schedule as well hourly through the mall hours of operation. This property would be perfect except for some important items really not entirely in their control. First the hotels.com picture seems to show a larger swim area then is really available. In the picture it seems there is this wide swath of possibly pool or pond area with walkways around an interior pool. That large swath is really a river and not a beach though one picture makes it look as if there is one. In Reality the pool area is rather small and the pool an average size triangle shape. Still the pool area itself though small is modern, trendy and outfitted with ample lounge chairs, shaded areas and showers. It adjoined by a terrace for outdoor dining. Problem was, while I was there it was so hot, even in the shaded area, you really didn't feel comfortable sitting there. Small peeve and maybe its me, I know things are imported there and higher costs but ____ Dirhams for an 8oz coke seems a bit excessive. Higher then airport rates. About 10 times the price of a can here to cool off. At other places outside the hotel a 12oz can is equal to the price here in the states. A burger at the bar with no beverage will set you back about the price of a steak in the US. The burger itself was rather bland taste with no seasoning. Aside from that, as noted elsewhere. This hotel sits close in proximity to the mall but in an unfinished construction site. The taxi drivers consistently get lost trying to find the drive way and end up driving around the large construction area for generally an extra 5-10 minutes trying to find their way even though the hotel itself is clearly in view. In coming months with temperatures dropping, one could walk to the mall in about 10 minutes

This hotel is in the heart of downtown and close to Dubai Mall and the major highways. Not too far from Meydan Racetrack. The only issue is that the hotel is DEAD it was hardly any residents due to it recently opening and is surrounded by construction in which most of the taxi drivers did not know how to access. The rooms are small but very modern and your have great views from your hotel window of downtown Dubai.

My stay in this hotel was really comfortable and I was happy specially from the staff their they all smile and helpfull ..

The hotel is new and very clean, the staff are very helpful. Very close to city center but difficute to get assess because the roads are under construction ,the good things is that their shuttle bus is free to pick up and drop us to city centers.

La propreté de la chambre est tres bonne. Bonne qualité de service Les services et équipements de l'hôtel sont tres agreables. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est moyennement bien.

Jag är dessvärre inte nöjd med min vistelse. Personalen var artig och trevlig men servicen var förvånansvärt ojämn för ett hotell i den här prisklassen. Städningen var stundtals slarvig. Hotellet sades vara ganska nytt (1 år) men möblemang och utrustning gav redan ett slitet intryck - man verkar inte ha investerat i kvalité. Underhåll av utrustningen på rummet en smula eftersatt; vägglampor var lösa, TV:n var konstant sned eftersom fästet/armen för TV:n som hängde på väggen och kunde vinklas i alla riktningar var för klen för TV:ns vikt. Man verkar heller inte ha tänkt i termer om att "här kommer bo gäster med laptop/mobiltelefon som behöver laddas" när man installerade elen - inga extra eluttag kring skrivbordet. Jag har inget emot att krypa under skrivbordet och leta extra uttag, men det var också då jag upptäckte den usla kabeldragningen som andades hafsverk. Köp UK-kontakt; i vanlig ordning fanns heller inga 'internationella' uttag. Området runtomkring är en byggarbetsplats, men det blir säkert lugnt och tyst - om ett år. Hotellet borde ha informerat om detta. Dubai Mall ligger 1000 m från hotellet, och man kan (tack och lov) gå dit. Poolområdet var stort men själva poolen löjligt liten (från hissen kunde man avundsjukt snegla på grannhusets väl tilltagna pool). Torrbastun var ett skämt, ångbastun luktade surt och var ljummen. Gymmet får godkänt (även om en del av maskinerna var skraltiga - åter igen inget underhåll) men kunde haft madrasser för övningar på golvet.

This was my first time here. The hotel is 2 minutes far from Dubai Mall, 15 mn from the airport. It's new, with nice rooms, very confortable and clean. Open air pool is nice. Breakfast is rich. Wi-fi internet is free in the lobby and in the rooms

albergo moderno con bella vista (nella mia camera) del grattacielo di dubai. pulito, il personale gentile. Ma i bagni piccoli la zona ancora in costruzione (per alcuni tassisti e' stata problematica) seppur vicino al dubai mall bisogna fare un giro lungo con il taxi. dunque in definitiva....l'albergo e' bello ma il prezzo e troppo alto per quella zona e con quelle caratteristiche. io ho pagato xxx euro notte (alta stagione camera singola standard al 19 piano). per il resto e' un buon albergo soprattutto "serio"(idoneo per famiglie), cosa non indifferente nel panorama degli emirati dove spesso negli alberghi si trovano night club con annessi e connessi fastidiosi (per chi non ama il genere).

Hotelli oli kaikinpuolin hieno ja hyvä. Huoneemme sijaitsi vastakkaisen tornitalon puolella sisäpihalla. Moottoritien äänet eivät häirinneet (huoneemme sijaitsi 17.krs). Yhteystien puuttuminen alueelle, Dubai Mall:lle oli ainoa miinus hotellissa. Hotellista kulkee toki kuljetus aikataulun mukaisesti, mutta silti olisin toivonut ns. kävely-yhteyttä Burj Khalifan alueelle. Kun tie joskus avataan, on hotelli täydellinen sijainniltaan ja olemukseltaan ok.

Prisvärt hotell i downtown Dubai, nära Dubai Mall och Burj Kahlifa. Frukosten var dock lite för dyr.

Ett ganska bra hotell nära Dubai Mall o Burj Khalifa. Trevlig personal, små men rena rum. Hotellet duger. Eftersom det är Dubai så tillbringar man inte så mycket tid på hotellet.

Das Radisson Blu Hotel liegt in SIchtweite vom Burj Khalifa und kann zu Fuss in 10-15 Minuten erreicht werden. Am Hotel führt eine Schnellstrasse vorbei, die im Zimmer nicht hörbar war, aber der Pool (3.Etage) hatte Strassenlärm. Es ist ein Businesshotel, mit sehr schönen, sauberen und modernen Zimmern. Da in der Umgebung eigentlich mehrere Baustellen sind, muss man bei der Anfahrt etwas aufpassen, die richtige Abfahrt zu nehmen. Man kann zu Fuss zur Dubai Mall mit seinen mehr als 1000 Geschäften laufen, auch wenn die Architekten des Einkaufstempels nicht wirklich an Fussgänger gedacht haben. Die Mall grenzt an Wasserspiele des Burj Khalifa und und hat auch einen Supermarkt, der bis Mitternacht geöffnet hat. Die U-Bahn Linie (rot) ist via Dubai Mall in 20 - 30 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Parken in Hotel war kostenlos, Internet auch und es gab kostenlose Shuttlebusse zur Dubai Mall und zum Strand. DIe Lage des Hotels ist gut, insofern als dass das alte Dubai (Gold Souk, Creek) und das Neue (Palminsel, Burj al Arab) schnell mit dem Auto erreicht werden können. Ein Businesshotel, dass ein sehr ansprechendes Niveau bietet, vielleicht aber eher für Geschäftsreisende geeignet ist, denn wie gesagt der Pool und die Fitnessräume gut sind, aber nicht zu langen Verweilen einladen. Die Bar, die sich auf Poollevel befindet, hat eine Außenterrasse und kann durch Gasöfen beheizt werden. Noch bietet sich ein Blick auf den Burj Khalifa, aber abhängig von der Bauentwicklung kann das für die Zukunft nicht gesagt werden. Alles in Allem ein gutes Hotel mit guter Anbindung und Lage zum Start von Aktivitäten mit Auto oder Bahn.
