close to university, reasonable priced, and friendly staff

It was ok - true example of you get what you pay for. Appeared to be a fresh coat of paint, some new furnishings, and an updated bathroom. Small room though. But, its close to the football stadium so it was all ok.

Hotel is in the middle of a bunch of university appartments and is a little difficult to get in and out of, but very clean and reception staff were very nice. Would be a great place to stay for an event at the WVU stadium.

It was a bed to sleep in. The room had a stale, musty smell. The toilet seat was not attached to the toilet. It was convenient location for our particular weekend plans, as it was close to the law school, but that's about the only perk.

The room was quit and clean. Very close to the school. The onlyld n bad thing, no water pressure in the shower. Also they the reorvation was for 3 but onlly 2 sets of towels. Wouls stay again

Overall my experience wasn't bad, exceptions were toilet seat in room broken heater either worked on high or didn't work at all, Comforter had a big stain on the outside, got wake up at 2am from party in next room

The heater wouldn't work right and there was no indication of how to reach the front desk.

This must be where everyone stays during the football games. The 1st room they gave us was cold. I tried to turn on the heater but it didn't come on. I called the front desk and they came out and moved us to the room next door. The heat should have been on before we got there. It was snowing out and it was cold. We turned on the heat in the second room and it took awhile for the room to get warm. They put us in a room very far from the front on the hotel even though I do not think anyone else was staying in the hotel. Not a terrible room but I don't think we will be staying here again.

There were a few mistakes when booking our reservation online, but Mark the hotel manager did everything he could to go over and above and make sure we got into our room and got exactly what we needed. Very good employee, very good hotel!!! The stay was wonderful. We weren't in town for pleasure, but a little human kindness can really make things a pleasure!

Overall, it was a really nice stay. But the complimentary breakfast could use some more food options.

terrible, they tried to charge me an additional $250 because they said i smoked in the room when i didn't.

I often stay in dumpy motels, but when I do I expect the rate to be cheap. This place was a step or two up from the low end in terms of price, but the musty tobacco-like odor of the room, the dinginess, the poorly functioning or non-functioning appliances, the toilet seat with 2 inches of play, the WiFi that didn't reach as far as my room . . . well, you get my point. Try a different place. On the positive side, the guy at the front test was cheerful and helpful and the lobby looked nice. Indeed, that's where I had to go to get WiFi.

Very convenient to hospital and eye clinic.Quiet room.It was kind of hard to find in the dark when we arrived in Morgantown.

Good place to spend a night. Rooms looked updated and very clean.

Walls are PAPER thin. If you have trouble sleeping with noise, this is not the place for you. Other than that, it's the ideal place to crash after a long day of tailgating and WVU football. Price was steep, but that's to be expected on game day. Short walk to the stadium, McDonald's, and Applebee's. Staff was friendly.

WiFi was on the border of not being available at all.

Motel attracts college party crowd on weekends who stay up past 3 AM. The "free WiFi" didn't work for our entire visit.

Stayed overnight on our way to Washington D.C. The hotel itself is a little tricky getting to, and surrounded by student housing. Our room was in the very back of the motel, facing student apartments. We were the only ones staying back there. A little shady, but it worked out ok. The room itself is nice, nice fixtures. Part of the room did seem outdated (curtains, door) but the king bed was comfortable, shower spacious, and the mini fridge was great for keeping our Yuengling cold.

It's a dump, plain and simple. The room wasn't very clean and reeked of urine. Just keep driving.

I liked it. The showers couldn't decide whether to be hot or cold, though.

Comfortable. Nive room. Helpful people.

In all fairness this hotel is acceptable for a quick stay. However the linens were old and stained. The shower curtain was covered with mildew. The staff was very freindly and helpful. My biggest complaint was the fact that they more than doubled the price of the room due to a home football game. This room was absolutely not worth the price that they charged. In addition the parking spaces were an issue for anyone driving a car bigger that a sedan.

Dingy, smelly - pitiful breakfast - overpriced

The hotel was actually a motel... Not easy to find, looked horrible on outside, but the rooms were not bad. The smell was a moldy smell. Will not be staying there again

My friends and I try to save money where we can, so we booked this hotel since it was the cheapest one that wasn't too far from our destination. It was great for the price, especially getting the free continental breakfast. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes to save money, but isn't too prissy or classy.The room was clean and everything worked as it should. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great stay!

Felt safe in that area. Close to hospital. Friendly staff. I left my cell phone and they called my home to tell me...thank you!!!

Hotel was sort of stuck back a side street but the people were courteous and the place was great for the price. Very convenient to WVU and other parts of the city. Visited my son who lives in Cheat Lake area and only took about ten minutes to get to his home. Will stay here again when I visit my son.

Yhe sheets were filthy and bathroom had trash on the floor. Not worth what we paid for. Very disappointed.

the location was great for what we needed, but the ac was not working properly and they had no drink or snack machines. The breakfast that was inculded consised of cold ceral and juice no muffins toast, bagels, ect. left to get breakfast else where.

I was very surprised at how nice the room was and the fact that it had a microwave, fridge, and a nice flat screen tv !!!!

Older motel that is completely redone. Marble counter tops, Microwave and refridgerators, New carpet, Flat screen TV's, bathroom new tile floors and bath surrounds. WILL STAY AGAIN when in Morgantown. Only flaw was they could use some new linens

It's sketchy on the outside but decent enough to stay

The overall experience with our stay was poor at best. The location of the hotel is in a bad neighborhood. The cleanliness of the room was poor and the room smelled very bad. I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

Travelodge Morgantown is a fine hotel for a short overnight stay. This was our first stop on our spring break college tour, so we just needed a safe, clean place to sleep to prepare for two college tours the following day. The walls are paper thin, which allows each room to hear precisely what is going on in the rooms next to them -we were able to hear others who arrived late at night on one side, and we were able to hear the conversation that took place for hours on the other. We did not eat the breakfast included with the room, as it did not offer anything we were interested in. Travelodge Morgantown is a short drive from WVU.

From the outside it may look a little sketchy, but this Travelodge has obviously been remodeled recently and the rooms were very nice and clean for such a low price. Morgantown is a halfway point for my boyfriend and I to meet, and this is definitely where we will be staying for future visits!
