Room clean and comfy, breakfast was tasty and te staff were brilliant. I cant recommend this hotel enough

The hotel isn't in the best area, the staff are very friendly, the rooms are ok but if you consider the parking is free and normally we pay £13.50 in Manchester and breakfast is free and we normally pay £8.50 for that it is an excellent price. Half an hour walk to the Etihad stadium

Great hotel in great location. Quiet safe and very easy to get into manchester. The breakfast was a buffet and very nice and good LCD tvs in the rooms.

Rooms clean, staff good noisey residence

Just a comfortable clean room and excellent free breakfast. Can't fault for the price paid!

HOTEL WAS IN AN IDEAL LOCATION TO GET TOO THE EMIRATES STADIUM, PLENTY OF PARKING, CLEAN, BREAKFAST GOOD, OVERALL VERY GOOD VALUE FOR THE PRICE .

lovely hotel, clean throughout, rooms spaceous and clean and comfy, location was suitable for us as was convenient for wot we wanted, only 8 miles from trafford centre and 10 mins away from my son, lovely meal and adequate breakfast, defo be back next time we down in manchester

Stayed here for a night with my friend while going to see a concert. Staff were lovely and greeted you with a smile. Staff were more than helpful as well as happy to help! Rooms were everything you needed for a basic stay with tea and coffee. We had a twin room which were provided with extra pillows which was great, free wifi and tv were excellent. Would reccomend using their taxi phone as it has cheap preset prices to places such as Piccadilly and Apollo (Piccadilly was £7,50 and we payed £10 from the station with normal outside taxis). Only problem was that someone was sleep walking at 5 in the morning and decided to break into our room which they couldn't get into and as soon as we rang reception, they sorted the situation out immediately and it wasn't the hotels fault! And i felt a draft all night from the window so was cold but im sure they would provide extra blankets if asked for. Breakfast was nice with a variatry of cereals, fruit, hot and savoury breakfasts so something go everyone. Would definitely stay here again and would reccomend it to my friends.

The hotel itself was quite good the only fault I had was the bed was really uncomfortably with one blanket not quilt and I was frozen shivering all night the heater wasn't working

at first i was put in a smoking room. but as i don't smoke they very quickly and without fuss moved me to another non smoking room

You only get what you pay for. This hotel was quite surprising. A very large family room so plenty of space. The bar was open quite late and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of vending machines too. Good little hotel for a short stay!

the hotel was good for manchester city centre, the room was clean and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.the sat night we stayed their were loads of young males +females hanging around the bar area + reception area when we arrived. also late on at around 12.00am until about 1am there were loads of people slamming bedroom doors +running up +down the corridors ,shouting +screaming, this really spoilt the stay for me +my girlfriend.

good clean comfy hotel. Receptionist on arrival very pleasant and helpful.

We stayed here for the USA Basketball game at the Arena. Cheap location was a few miles from the centre. Great breakfast selection.

Hotel service and food was excellent. Room was clean and tidy as was bedding.

i just needed a place to sleep the night of a gig, room was clean not the most fancy or luxurious, but served its purpose.

Obviously not the Ritz, you get what you pay for, but clean and really good value if you need a base for Manchester. Staff were all very helpful and friendly, the location was good, it was a lot quieter than we thought it would be, breakfast was a bonus, no complaints whatsoever.

Excellent value, clean, budget hotel with complimentary full english breakfast (somewhat spoiled by the understaffing which meant long waits for items, thus even longer queues as all breakfast hot and cold items and, bizarrely, the drinks and toaster machines are located in the same area!). The 2 staff that were there toiled gamefully away in a losing battle. Shame on you Mr Manager for not being there and lending assistance!

A few reviews I read got me feeling I was going to stay in some throw back from the 70's. Not true. Bar area bright and welcoming, staff very pleasant. Room very comfortable even tho it could do with a lick of paint rather than the garish wallpaper. Shower was fantastic! Breakfast next morning was adequate, but we seemed to go down at the same time as the rest of the hotel so a lot of queuing, but the food was enough to get us back on the road for our journey home.

enjoyed my overnight stay, room was basic but comfortable & the food was plenty & very tasty, slight complaint was dining area was not cleaned up very well & my feet were sticking to the floor in places but overall i would definately go back again, oh one final comment about the staff, they were friendly & helpfull

We arrived late on Friday night in atrocious weather and was glad to relax in the bar. The room, although it could do with an overhaul - re-decoration, duvets instead of blankets, and sheets without holes, was satisfactory, but I wouldn't say it was anywhere near on a par with the Premier inns or Travelodge hotels. The breakfast was excellent and well cooked - although the state of the tables was off-putting - scratched and well in need of dumping on the tip. After an excellent day in the city we returned to the hotel and enjoyed an excellent meal that was fairly priced. the service was very good and the staff second to none and very friendly. We had 2 very comfortable nights and after another excellent breakfast made for home. have to say the bus service into the city is excellent. all in all a good stay. but do get the paint brushes out and give the whole place a make over. you will benefit from it!

We stayed over night as we were going to Belle Vue Dogs which is practically opposite the hotel. Great location for our night out, great value for money and a great much needed cooked breakfast!

We stayed here as it is close to the 'Sportcity' BMX venue. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was good. Have booked again for next month.

Booked to stay the night after the united v stoke game. £11 taxi ride to the stadium. Very cheap considering breakfast was included. Cooke breakfast not amazing but you get what you pay for and there was lots of other choices. Rooms were clean. Quite cold though. I had to put socks and leggings on to sleep in as i was shivering. Would definately stay again though!

lovely hotel , ideally situated for the dog track and man city footb all . very clean and tidy , witgh a good breakfast

I have booked the Diamond Lodge Hotel for 3 nights to spend the new year's eve in Manchester. I was very happy for the cleanliness of the room and especially for the two girls working at the reception desk who were very polite and helped me brilliantly. I'll recommend this hotel!

Just outside city centre on good bus route, Good sized room, plenty hot water and good powerful shower, clean and fine for a few nights . Only criticism is no curtains , and I like my room dark ...

Great for a night at the Dogs - over the road. Hotel very clean , very friendly staff and good breakfast Would definately stay here again !

Confortable, limpio y apropiado precio al servicio que brinda. Recomendable para quienes viajan en inmediaciones de Manchester. Lo utilizamos con mi esposa para alojarnos el 26 de marzo de 2013 e incluso cenamos en el mismo Hotel. Llegamos tarde, por lo cual es recomendable no utilizar el restaurante del hotel si llegan cerca de las 2100, pues la cena resultó buena pero nos quedamos sin postre pues se había retirado el cocinero.

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms with free wifi. Excellent buffet breakfast with ample choice. Rooms allocated over the main road (Hyde Road) quite noisy .. poor window insulation ( avoid). Plenty of private parking ( free). Next to Belle Vue Stadium about 5 miles from Manchester CC. Would stay again, but would ask to be assigned rooms in the rear.

det tjente det formål som det var tiltænkt , en seng efter en koncert og hjem igen, eneste hage ved det er beliggenheden , temmelig langt fra lufthavn og fra centrum, og med dårlige offentlige transport muligheder ...

Bra och hjälpsam personal, helt okej frukostbuffé och rent och fint i rummet. Hotellet är absolut prisvärt men dessvärre ligger det en bit utanför 10 minuter med buss ungefär. Det fungerar ju, bussarna går ofta osv men jag om min vän ville gå ut på kvällen och det hade varit skönt att bo lite närmare stan.

Det var upåklageligt.

Bra hotell för det mycket låga priset.. Bekväma och rent rum. Normal kontinental frukost. Buss till city ca 15-20 minuter. Bussen går väldigt ofta. Köp dagskort/veckokort på bussen så blir det billigare. All personal förutom 1 var mycket trevliga. Rum mot vägen något störande trafik på vardagar. Kan rekommenderas.
