Hampton Inn Portland Downtown Waterfront - بورتلاند

This was a last minute family meet-up. Hotel staff went out of their way to get us into a specific room and meet our needs for our new baby to meet out of town family in a comfortable environment, even though we arrived earlier than expected. We were delighted and grateful for the care, comfort and consideration from valet, housekeeping and front desk. Plus, we were so pleased with the spacious, comfortable, clean accommodations with a view of Casco Bay. It was a wonderful experience. THANK YOU!

The hotel is in a good location, was clean, and had a great free breakfast and free wi-fi that wasnt slow. I would recomend it

Was in town for a conference at the Regency, which looked to have a bit more character, but Hampton Inn was just fine for what I needed. Clean, comfortable, convenient to downtown. Just nothing special about it.

This is a new hotel and it shows. It was very clean and the staff was very attentive. The breakfast was wonderful. A great way to start a day. The only drawback was that there was no hot tub but the pool was nice and clean. Enjoy!

Our stay started off rocky with the manager on duty for the day Nick I believe it was almost lost our business forever over $50. The front desk help Amanda saved the stay and our business. If the manager had used a different tone and attitude it could have been avoided. After that uncomfortable issue the stay was wonderful. The area of Old Port is one of our favorites and when ever we go away we always return to there. We feel safe walking at any time. The hotel is just on the "side" of the city so you can start at one end and just walk and walk getting to see all of he interesting stores, galleries, and amazing architecture. The nice thing about the Hampton Inn is that it offers a courtesy ride should you need one to or from the hotel to anywhere I think in Old Port (we didn't use it).

The Hampton is a great place! Courteous, clean and comfortable, new and roomy, it's located about a hundred yards or so from the Old Port..

stay was good did have problem with mini fridge asked them to fix and no one ever came!.

The valet parking was fine but a little pricey in my opinion.

This Hampton Inn was a pleasant surprise. The reviews we read prior to booking were almost all very good and they were correct. We enjoyed the stay very much.

While I always appreciate the consisency of a Hampton Inn, I was truly surprised and delighted by how modern, well-appointed, and perfectly located we found the Portland Hampton Inn. Clean. Fresh. Friendly. Staff was terrific, from the valet to manager! What a value. What a find!

Entire hotel is very clean and NEW. Everyone was very friendly to us and our children. A short walk to the Casco Bay ferry line and the harbor streets. We even walked to the Children's Museum of Maine and it wasn't that bad. The hotel provided us a clean and almost new pack n play with clean sheets for my younger son. My older son didn't want to leave when we were checking out! Pool is a bit on the cold side, wish it was warmer.

It was a great hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. the only downside is that you must pay for valet parking - $15 per car per night. It seems a little steep considering the amount of space the hotel has, and that it is Portland Maine.

Love this place now standing where the old Jordan's Meats used to be. Great staff, clean, comfortable, a shower head for tall people with great water pressure. Nice full breakfast spread each morning. Would most definitely stay here again.

Awesome hotel with clean rooms and great service! Also close to everything the Old Port has to offer. Would 100% stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Having the Brewing Company downstairs was a huge plus for us. Just don't count on the hotel guest only access door to work with your room keys. Everyone in our group had touble and had to use the other doors. Not a big deal just annoying. Other than that, it was a great stay.

We've stayed at this Hampton location several times and it's always terrific!!! The morning breakfast is great and the staff is friendly; I just wish they would do away with the valet parking, it's such a pain and an unnecessary expense... Overall a great place to stay though!!!

I thought that the front desk and management staff were wonderful. I do think that the valet should be instructed to help the guests get their luggage out of their cars rather then stand and watch us get it out of the cars. I smashed my hand getting my suitcase out of my car and the valet just stood there and watched. My son (who was not with me when I checked in) asked the desk why the valet did not assist me with my luggage and they told him it is not policy. My thought is that any man who stands their and watches an older woman struggle with luggage should be ashamed of himself. If that is the policy of your hotel, it needs to be changed as it is not a good service policy. They did assist me with the luggage when I checked out. The room was spotless upon arrival.

The swimming is very small, don't trust the pictures. Location is central and convenient but there is no harbor view from the hotel, which is next to some parking lots. Breakfast is good but ends at 10am even on weekends... Apart from that the hotel is great, very clean and nice, the shuttle service guys are very nice and helpful and we had a very good time.

Wonderful stay, super convenient, close to everything... except a grocery store. So if you plan to stay a long while, come prepared with supplies. The Hotel provides small items, but it's limited.

We had a wonderful trip to Portland, and comfortable relaxing stay at the Hampton Inn. The staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are generously appointed with plenty of towels, and a large bathroom, beds are clean soft and fresh with white sheets and duvets, and the whole hotel is spotlessly clean. There is also a mini fridge and microwave in room, so stock up on snacks! A fabulous Whole Foods is a 2 min drive away. Hot breakfast was definitely sufficient. Pool is small but nice, clean, water is salted and not too chlorinated. Some of Portland’s highly regarded restaurants are literally within steps of this hotel too...Duckfat, Eventide Oyster Co. Two Fat Cats and Fore St. We were sad to leave, the rooms are so fresh and relaxing. i can't wait to come back!

Hotel staff was courteous and the rooms were clean and quiet. I was able to park the car for the whole weekend and walk just about everywhere. It does not mention it on the website and it was an added plus that there is The Sebago Brewing company on site for drinks and food!!

Nice, updated hotel with a small but warm pool. Paying for parking is not ideal, but we parked on the street to save some $$ and had no problems. Sebago Brewing's restaurant on-site was really good - would definitely recommend.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Portland for one night after Thanksgiving. It was very convenient to downtown Portland, and the room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable, nice mattress and nice sheets. We will definitely stay at this hotel on our next trip to Portland!

It was wonderful! Close to attractions, loved watching the snow from the heated pool! All hotel employees were awesome!

The hotel iteself is nice and new. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic (besides the weird, spungy, scrambled egg "nuggets"). A few disappointments though: There was no hot tub. I've stayed at far cheaper hotels that had a nice hot tub. Also, the indoor swimming pool was a chilly 72 degrees. They advertise a "heated" pool. I don't think that counts. Also, the key cards to the room stopped working a couple of times and I had to make multiple trips to the lobby to get into our room. Plus it cost $30 to valet park our two cars. There were no other reasonable parking options. We could have paid less than half to stay outside the city in a hotel with more amenities and get a cab to drive us in.
