Very nice hotel. Breakfast is included in the price. Choices are, Cold Ceral, french toast, muffin, eggs, bacon, juices, coffee, homemade buttermilk pancakes. I stayed her for 4 nights, for a ski trip. I used the hotel only for breakfast and sleeping activities. They do offer dinners. I would stay here again if we are back in the area.

This place was a match made in heaven for me. The owner is a Philadelphia Eagles season ticket holder. I walked into the bar and its decorated in Philly sports items. Being from the same area and also an Eagles fan (Its the burden I carry in life) was great. The owner is Joe and he does it all. One minute I see him serving breakfast and then he comes around the corner on a snow plow a half hour later. Joe is also the bartender but they do have servers who are also great. The free breakfast itself makes its worth it. You get a sit-down breakfast that was amazing. I went up there to ski at Stratton and each morning we had breakfast and then went skiing. The drive to Stratton is easy but you can also get to Bromley right down the road. There is a restaurant down the road that is great too. The rooms are dated but I was fine with it. It has a lodge type feel. I would describe my room as if I was staying at my grandmothers and she had me stay in her spare bedroom. You know what? I'm either going back again this ski season or to golf in the spring/summer. Whenever I go I'm going to stay there. You go for the price and the location, you go back to see Joe.

The Swiss Inn was very clean with great service. The location is perfect for hitting several ski resorts in central/southern Vermont. The Swiss Inn gives you a comfortable place to rest after a day on the slopes. A great value

I originally chose this hotel because it is perfectly situated between Stratton and Okemo Mountains. When we first pulled in i was thinking "what did i get us into?", since we usually do a comfort inn, hilton garden inn, embassy suites kind of hotel when travelling. But as soon as i met the owner and we were in our room i was pleasantly surprised. The room was large enough for all our ski gear and spotlessly clean. The complimentary made-to-order breakfast delicious. The beds were clean and comfy. Wifi was available in the room. When my girls asked for a soda machine, the owner gave them complimentary sodas from the tavern. Wonderful family-owned establishment. Will saty here again!

Our recent stay at Swiss Inn in Londonderry, Vermont was a surprising one. Like most roadside motels, the property is located at a busy country road and the innkeeper is very friendly. The room shows marks of wear and tear but clean. The reward for staying is that the inn offered a sit-down full service but free breakfast - good omelet, sausages and homemade blueberry pancakes with maple syrup; however, this is not all. We came to Vermont for its fall color, but the southern region already past its peak - a little disappointment for us on our second day of the trip. Here is the surprise - outside the window of the simple decorated dinning room is a line of tall bird feeders. While we were enjoying the tranquil country morning, hospitable service and good food, birds large and small, in different colors - blue, red, brown or black & white joined us for breakfast flocking to the feeders, flying away and coming back with more - a joy for the ones inside and outside of the window. loved the dining room with the bird feeders and the racoons. so much fun to watch

The hotel is in need of an upgrade, but the staff is very friendly and the room was clean and neat. I wish the complimentary breakfast had been served a half hour earlier. By the time it was ready I needed to be on the road. I would have loved a cup of coffee.

I want to like the place a lot, but it's in serious need of upgrading that I doubt would/could happen. The outdated decor, I'm okay with. But the closet door was coming of the hinge, the quilt was torn up and the mattress left both me and my partner with aches. That said, there is a lot to like about the place. Breakfast service is fantastic, Joe, the proprietor, makes you feel at home, and the proximity to skiing is hard to beat. Not sure what I could do to improve the stay though - maybe a coffee machine in the room?

Electric outlets were hard to find to charge phones. Fan in bathroom was very noisy. no amenities, coffee maker, hair drier, shampoo etc

Room and environs were comfortable but not luxurious. The great plus was a sit down complimentary breakfast with anything you want to order. Inn Keeper (and owner I think) was the best. His wife was the cook and baker. I hope we have a chance to returen.

Room weresmall and had an usual odour (hiding smoke?) and the beds squeaked. Staff were friendly and efficient, food satisfactory. Glad we didn't pay any more than we did.

Hotel needs updating, food was excellent

A very nice place to stay. Quaint, homey, comfortable and fits in perfectly with the surroundings. Staff is extremely friendly and will go one step beyond to make your stay comfortable. Food is delicious and continental breakfast goes way beyond the traditional breakfast. I would definately recommend to others.

This is not a fancy place, but it severed our needs and the people were very friendly. The breakfast was great.

Pleasant little place. Don't expect luxury. Very good (complimentary) full breakfast. Very helpful management. I understand that the restaurant and the lounge are very good. I didn't have the opportunity to try.

Don't look for fancy as this is a no frills place, but has everything needed. Plenty of towels. Room was comfortable. Plenty of space. The best part of the stay was the breakfast. You get a full breakfast served by the owner. He was so pleasant and entertaining -- also knowledgeable of the area. I think the best compliment was that the dining room was filled with return customers who knew each other from previous stays. Would highly recommend.

close to noisy road, poor external insulation no internal noise insulation, breakfast time from 8 to 9 only good breakfast but no buffet correst heating system but no cooling no hairdryer, no kettle, no refrigerator, no oven, nothing! no curtain on windows, only blinders
