Comfortable hotel, with excellent staff and in a very convenient location. My only small criticism is the breakfast service - overcrowded, too few coffee machines and certainly not a relaxing atmosphere. However, I have nothing but praise for the other amenities, including a very good, fast lift service, which is becoming a rare thing in quality hotels.

Every thing was perfect, though the neighborhood was too quiet on the weekend (nearby restaurants and cafe were closed).

Closely located to most of EU bodies in Brussels. Very good bedding, Room relatively small.

The Thon Hotel EU was a lovely hotel in great condition, within easy walking distance of the center of Brussels. We loved the comfort of the beds, the central, open courtyard and the very helpful receptionist. On the downside the safe in the room didn't work and the shower pressure was very poor. However, even given these issues, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else if we returned to Brussels.

My only complaint is that the party noise on the Saturday evening of my stay was unacceptable. I was a participant in a conference and needed my sleep. I was on the 6th floor and yet the loud music disturbed my rest until 2:00 AM. This would be a reason for me not to want to return, despite all the positives.

The stay was excellent would recommend the hotel and it's close to metro and the centre.

A great hub for working in brussels. Fantastic hotel when compared to loads of others in the surrounding area. I work in brusels a lot, and this will be my new base. The rewards scheme is also really good. Only down side is that the bar staff arnt as attentive as they should be - you will end up waiting a long time for a second drink. Breakfast was great, room was great, wifi worked well ...

The hotel is perfectly situated if you are in Brussels for business with the EU. Close to several DG's, and walking distance to parliament and several Embassies. The check-in/check-out procedure was fast and friendly, just what a business traveler needs. The hotel breakfast is pricey, 27 euros, but there is a bakery and coffee house attached which is good for something on the run.

Very clean, no-fuss hotel. Very convenient location to the EC. Breakfasts alittle expensive, but restaurant overall is decent as is bar. Very clean. I would have liked a bathtub :)

Had stayed at another Thon hotel last year but changed to one closer to the military museum this time. The hotel was very clean and well decorated (if a little bright). Evening meals very good although the menu could have had a few more options. Good selection of TV in the room along with some "interesting" options on the pay to view movies...... Very cute receptionists!!

A comfortable hotel with good amenities Bar shop etc. The room was well designed and pleasant but even with the air-con on the room was very warm. The staff were helpful and happy to help. A nice find for a stay in Brussels.

The hotel windows were very poorly insulated, which means that I could hear traffic noise clearly all through the night, which was particularly bad from about 4am. This is appalling given that the hotel is on a very major road. It is a modern hotel and I would have thought this would have been an obvious thing for them to make sure was adequate. The shower head holder in the bathroom was also broken, and kept falling down. I would not return.

The Thon-EU hotel is a modern hotel just steps from the Maalbeek station at the edge of the EU district. They have an excellent and very attentive staff and everything is bright and shiny. They have an excellent breakfast (not included in my stay). I got an excellent room-rate on a weekend that the EU was not in session. Easy to get to/from the airport with the #12 bus and into the town on the metro (buy a day pass to get around). It's a bit of a hike up towards the Shuman area but lots of choices there for dinner, none close to the hotel.

hotel was really nice, next to Metro to get to central station for the grand place. Does require a 12 euro taxi home if after mid-night because the metro's stop, or a 15 min walk. Very big rooms. Shower could be more powerful..

Nice hotel, enjoyed my stay. Looked newly renovated, and good size room. But beware of additional charges from breakfast to tv to Internet access, which is only free for first hour. These things can add up quickly. I skipped the breakfast (12 euro) and only used the internet in the main lobby ( would gave been additional 7 euro per 24 hrs). But pretty convenient location as it is only a short subway ride to city center and Central train station . All in all, good value and would consider staying again.

The hotel is very modern, lots of bright pinks/ green/ orange and is excellently located on Rue de la Loi, a minute from Maelbeek metro stop and a couple of minutes from Schuman (EC Berlaymont building etc.) and Arts-Loi. This was honestly the best breakfast that I have ever had in Brussels, the selection of food is incredible! The lobby has plenty of comfy chairs, some in more secluded areas should you wish to have a relatively private conversation. There are 4 PC s with internet available to use free of charge (although they are Apple Macs which didn't suit me!) There is a mini supermarché just next door and all in all I thought it was great. PS they do a special deal whereby if you stay for more than 2 nights and agree to forego the room cleaning on one morning, they give you a € 5 voucher towards food/ drink at the bar. Overall 10/ 10

Used this hotel when visiting parliament. Only 5-10 mins away. Staff at hotel very helpful ,room spacious. Only 1 hour free wifi but we had no problems getting onto a computer in lobby where wifi is fre at anytime. Breakfast is 25 euro and we didn't think this was good value. There are however lots of local cafes and particularly around parliament area which cost much less.

Very good hotel. Reception staff very helpful. Good facilities. Conveniently situated by Metro station.

This hotel was very inconveinent it charged 30 Euro per every 24hrs for parking in thier garage. Parking located near this hotel was impossible to find. They also charged and additional 25 euro security deposit on the room which will be held for up to one week after your stay. and 12 euro city tax was also charged per day. I was disappointed with all these additional fees that were never mentioned especially the parking. I would not recommend this hotel for people who are driving o this desination due to the absence of free parking.

nice modern hotel. A bit noisy traffic during the night - but that was the only problem.

Incredibly clean and modern hotel. Very cheap during our stay (might be because European Parliament is out). Nice, safe neighbourhood - about 30 min walk to Grand Place. Only downsides to hotel were that my partner complained that it was a room for a male (bed high off the ground, deco, nowhere for make-up bag in bathroom etc) and the cost of parking the car (25 euros per night).

Brand new hotel right in the middle of the European district. Was there for business purposes but saw quite a number of families, couples etc. who were there on holidays or for leisure purposes. Room extremely spacious with huge bed and very clean. Beautiful bathroom. Great variety at the breakfast buffet. Located right next to the Maelbeek Metro Station (lines 1 and 5).

I only stayed at the Thon Hotel EU for a night. The overall experience was very good, the staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel itself is very nice, the colors are vibrant. Location is especially good for those who have to be around the EU quarter which was very convenient for me and probably the reason I chose this particular hotel). Breakfast was great, the variety of hot and cold food was abundant and everything was tasty. My room was nice and spacious enough, the bed was very comfortable, TV had very good channels. What could be better in my opinion: there were two very narrow duvets on a double bed, I had to either use both of them horizontally, or if Iused just one then it was difficult to turn in bed without becoming uncovered; the windows were not soundproof, which seems largely to be a norm these days in hotels located near busy roads (which it is), the flooring was uncomfortable, not a carpet nor hardwood, like plastic (I couldn't really understand the material) it somehow made me feel like I had blisters under my feet. These were negative aspects for me. But overall it is a good hotel for a short stay (probably more suited for business travelers).

Sparkling new hotel. No irons available in rooms. You have to go to an "ironing room" - not what you'd expect for such a plush hotel. Bath towels were dirty. Minibar empty. I'm going back to stay at Renaissance Hotel close by

Nice modern hotel in the heart of EU Quarter, which is almost dead during weekends (impossible to find anything open on Saturdays and Sundays in a 1 Km radius); however the hotel is just in front of a metro station that allows you to reach the city center in 10 minutes. The staff was very kind and helpful during our stay; when they heard about our adventures with airlines (they cancelled two flights on the same day, and on top of that they managed to lose our luggage) they offered us a free room upgrade and a 50% discount on breakfasts (which are otherwise insanely expensive!).

Prima Hotel met geweldige service

O hotel é excelente: moderno, com uma ótima estrutura, quartos confortáveis e novos, os funcionários são muito atenciosos, o restaurante do hotel é ecvelente, incluíndo o café da manhã. O único problema foi a localização, porque o hotel fica um pouco distante do centro, mas pegando o metrô dá para tirar esse problema de letra!

Tres bon hotel bien situé dans le quartier europeen et pas loin de la grande place.Personnel hotelier tres sympathique et accueillant avec nous la grande classe koi!!

les chambre sont très propre, le menage est fait tous les jours ou moins si vous souhaiter le demander (bon 5€ ecolo utilisable au bar et restaurant de l'hotel), service réactif (lampe cassé à l'arrivé, envoi de personnel dans l'heure suivante) juste un petit négatif sur l'insonorisation de la chambre par rapport au couloir ou l'on entend tous ce qui ce passe. L'hotel en lui même est plus ou moins bien placer car il est dans un quartier d'affaire donc très calme, à 15 minute a pied environ du centre de bruxelles.

Especially liked the idea of environmental friendly solutions at the hotel and the refreshing look

Nytt og fresht hotell. Veldig fornøyd med alt. Eneste jeg har å klage på var noen ulyder fra vannrør/takrenne på rommet. Men har bodd her flere ganger og alltid vært fornøyd!
