Grand Sunset Hotel - فوكيت

Hotel was quite new and staff were very friendly and helpful... Low season rates and got a small discount when I extended my stay by 4 more nights. Breakfast was ok and only instant coffee :( still nice coffee next door. Close to main areas in Karon and great for seafood grill street vendors. Would definitely stay again.

Very good, modern hotel, if a little over-priced like everything else on the entire island of Phuket. Staff very helpful. This is NOT the hotel's fault but get ready to be ripped off by the Thai mafia for all transport costs on Phuket -- taxis, tuk-tuks, airport minibuses etc cost literally five times what they offer anywhere else in Thailand. The Grand Sunset puts you with it, like every other hotel, rather than run a private service because they would be closed down by the mafia if

It was fantastic, the staff was amazing, so nice and helpfull all the time, the hotell is very modern and clean a small however, most of the time it was hard to get warm water in the shower but not a big problem since it's so hot outside. It's very close to the beach and the resturants and market also but still not loudy at the night, i would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Have stayed there for 3night last weeks... Thanks Sasithorn and all the staffs there for preparing the cake for my boyfriend birthday. Staffs at counter was always wearing a smile. Only thing is that i find ants crawling beside my bed.. anyway the staffs killed them after i told them about it. Really missed the rooftop pool.. Have a great time watching sunset on one of the evening.. WIll definitely stay there again if i were to visit Phuket.. Thanks All the staffs at Grand Sunset... =)

Staff was wonderful and friendly; they always greeted you when you came back and answered any questions you had. Very close to the beach and by a number of restaurants and spas. Easy to get a tuktuk/taxi to Patong. Basic room was small, but suitable for 2 people. I would definitely stay here again.

Grand Deluxe Room was very good, worth it but the shower is too weak and the water a little bit cold (in summer it is ok). Swimming pool is nice with a reasonable view of the ocean (some roofs from other hotels aside bother). Taking into account what I paid, I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel. Service was great with someone greeting with a smile and even a glass of juice while we checked in. 1 block from a great, not crowded beach with chairs and umbrellas. Lots of markets about 3 or 4 blocks to the North. Good restaurants around. Overall, just an awesome hotel at an awesome value!

My stay was so good I stayed another 2 weeks. The staff there was great. Location was great.

This was our first time to Thailand. We are a couple in our late 20's & mid 30's. We stayed one week. We used hotels.com reviews as a guide to find a lower budget hotel in a chilled out area near the beach, with a selection of restaurants. This turned out to be perfect. (+) Many:- Our room was a good size (chose the separate bedroom option). Room cleaning service was excellent. Nice new TV's & new A.C. unit's in both rooms. Hotel was fully booked but we heard no noise from neighbors. Friendly front desk staff. Great roof top pool. Hotel never seemed crowded, but was fully booked. Basic but good breakfast (best on the street). Easy parking out front. Nice 'n quiet but short walk to the main street / beach / other streets with restaurants. Great massage & trip booking places on same street. (-) Just one:- Noise from machinery below our room (maybe from elevator motor room) at night - however, front desk moved us to another room. Would highly recommend if you're looking in this price range & away from the main strip in Karon.

It was a very good hotel with an excellent location, close to the beach, market and good restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff and amazing breakfast buffet. The room we had was a clean and luxurious. It wasn't too big but that's really not much of a problem. There was also ants all over the toilet seat when we checked in but the cleaning staff cleaned it at once and we never saw an ant there again. We only stayed for two nights but we got the impression of a really good hotel which I would recommend everyone who's heading to Karon Beach!

The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is brand new, and very modern in design. The cost is competitive! We paid the same amount for a room in Kata beach, and the quality/service was no where close to that of Grand Sunset. We were sad we hadn't found this place sooner! I highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back again if we find ourselves at Karon Beach!

How in the world does this hotel have such good ratings? I killed at least 12 ants that were crawling on me in my bed.... My towels were dirty and my sheets were dirty. Other than that everything was ok, but needless to say i will not be going back. I emailed that hotel about this after i checked out, but they had no response.

Only stayed for 1 night... this hotel has in a good location across the street from Karon Beach, by markets & restaurants. The hotel is newer so the rooms were nice but very small. The staff helped us the next morning get a cab to the airport. Schedule that 24 hours in advance if you need to be at the airport in the morning. It's about an hour away.

Hotel was in a nice location very close to a lovely beach. Good shopping and resturants nearby. Would recommend.

You get what you pay for with the Grand Sunset Hotel. The hotel is very clean and upkept, the hotel staff is extremely friendly and courteous, and while the rooms are not very large, they are a good place to relax after a day in the sun (the balconies are very nice). There is a pool on the rooftop which isn't used very much but offers good views of the beach. The beach is a short 2-3 minute walk away. The breakfast buffet is a bit pricey but delicious. The hotel is located away from the central part of Karon Beach, but there is a small strip of restaurants and shops one road over from the hotel. There is also a larger market for souvenirs about 5 minutes walk away. If you're looking for a quieter location that is still in walking distance from the busy areas of Karon Beach, then the Grand Sunset might be a good choice. The only issue we encountered was that the cab drivers do not know where the hotel is located. It is on a smaller road off of Patak West road. It shares this road with a larger hotel, Bauman Casa, which cab drivers do know. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

I booked a stay in Bangkok, Patong and Karon and I must say that this hotel was the highlight of my trip even though the other hotels were also great. This was the most awesome hotel I stayed at while in Thailand and I regret not booking this hotel for my full stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The manager was brilliant in his attitude and service. The lady at the front desk always made sure we were enjoying our stay. The manager always smiled and even provided us with a late checkout that was beyond hotel policy. The views of the sea from the room and from the pool were breathtaking, The rooms were clean and spacious and had a good nice fashionable feel to it. Well done to the guys at Grand Sunset. If you are looking for 5* accomodation in Phuket, go for this hotel.

This Grand Sunset Hotel is very beautiful. Our balcony overlooked both the mountains and the beach. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Just around the corner from the hotel is a number of restaurants/bars. And just down the street is a fantastic market full of souvenirs. Karon Beach was definitely one of the best beaches we went to. Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Karon Beach.

Wir waren jetzt schon öfters in Asien und auf Fernreisen, dieses Hotel war das schlechteste was wir je hatten. Wir können es niemandem weiterempfehlen.

Sejourner 8 nuits a cet hotel, chambre tres propre, service impeccable, toujours pret a rendre vos vacances encore plus agreable, hotel a 5 min de marche de la plage, dej. Buffet tres ordinaire, tres Thai,beaucoups de petit restaurant a proximite de lhotel, boutiques, etc., Les vues sur les balcons donne sur le jardin (un champs avec beaucoup d'ordure et de lautre cote, vue sur les autres batisses) donc pas de tres belles vues a cet endroit, mais normalement nous n allons pas en vacances pour faire du balcon!!!!!!! Retourner a Karon beach je retournerais surement a cet hotel, je crois qu'il n'y a aucun hotel directement sur la plage a Karon

This hotel is the best one we ever been to , the staff were so kind and helpful , the breakfast was great and the room were nice and clean , Many +++++++

Trevligt hotell med nära till stranden och en schysst pool, och massageställe vägg i vägg där man fick rabatt. Det negativa var att det inte fanns så mycket håll i gång på området och att det inte fanns någon minibus service från hotellet, vilket det verkade finnnas på vissa andra hotell, till flygplatsen utan man fick punga ut 1000 baht för taxi. Hänga vid poolen och dricka smoothies var bästa med hotellet.

Уборка отличная, смена белья каждый день. Очень отзывчивый и дружелюбный персонал. Рядом улица с кафе, массажем, банкомат, обменник, минимарты. Номер для двоих маленький , но чистый. wi-fi без проблем, нет русских каналов. Вид из номера нормальный если на Hilton. Пляжные полотенца старые, попадались с дырками даже. Бассейн на крыше, с подсветкой, купались в любое время суток без проблем. Рядом, неожиданно ставший базовым, отель Пегаса Bauman casa , очень много соотечественников. Были в ноябре

Kjempebra beliggenhet! Det var rett over veien fra stranda. Stranden var ren og godt vedlikeholdt, og det var ikke så mye mas fra selgere. Vannet var rent og hærlig. Frokosten på hotellet var god, og de annsatte var veldig behjelpelige med det vi måtte trenge. Det var rolig om natta som bidro til en god natts søvn. God sikkerhet på området, som gav en følelse av trygghet.

服务非常好，前台的美女和小胖子很体贴，房间很干净！

Hotelis fresh very nice. Good air condition+ good showers. Breakast is not good according to Thai level. Breakfast is on additional fee so do not take it.. Tried once... not more...NIce view from the roof pool. Half of the rooms facing another builin,, the other half of the rooms facing tropical forest+ you can see the sea!!! Room cleaning very slow.. but they are making good work!

To ting kunne vært bedre: Romrenhold ble ofte utført langt på dag, seneste var 18:30. Minibaren måtte vi be de om å fylle opp, men dette skulle vel strengt talt gått automatisk. Forøvrig fint hotell, med hyggelig betjening.

Dette hotellet ble en favoritt med en gang vi ankom, og vi kommer nok sikkert til å reise tilbake hit. Trivelig og hjelpsomt personell, fantastisk toppetasje med basseng og bar, stilfulle og rene rom, og ikke minst en perfekt beliggenet. Ble veldig fornøyd med vårt opphold på dette hotellet.
