Chunda Palace - اودايبور

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is spectacular & we were all really impressed. Some of the staff spoke very little English and breakfast was a bit basic but overall we loved it & would definitely go back!

Nice looking, beautiful roof restaurant. Lots of color and marble. Good value..

Room was nice, but not so modern. Very nice common areas outside rooms. Pool was very shallow. I doubt it's ever used. Dinner at the restaurant was pretty good. Fairly good location for grabbing transportation. Overall pretty nice. We also stayed in the Ramada which I think I liked a bit more on the whole. The plus with this place is that you had to wait at least 15 min to call a cab and have it show up at the Ramada where as you could walk outside here and find an autorickshaw.

This place is a great oasis! My friends and I stayed here and we were completely satisified with not leaving at all :) Rooms are great and spacious, red marble bathroom with a great shower was ceratinly a highlight. Service was great and not for the sake of the tip. I whole hartedly recomend this place!!! Food wad good too although the pool could benefit from being heated.

Beautiful hotel. The rooftop bar and restaurant area is beautiful and elegant. The bathroom shower had a rainfall showerhead and waterfall faucet and was marble. The ceilings hand painted. The beds comfortable. Really gorgeous hotel. A few glitches. When we checked in, the person did not want to honor the additional fee pre-arranged for having a 3rd person in the room. Instead he tried to tell us we had to get a 2nd room, saying it wasn't possible to have a third person in the room. I finally had to show him the email where I had directly communicated with them about this and that they'd said it was ok, before he would accept it. This was just one person. Everyone else there was incredibly helpful. Also for some reason, the phone in our room kept on ringing with no one being on the other end (every 10 to 15 minutes) but the easy fix for that was just disconnecting the phone. Overall, it is quite beautiful, and considering all the other very expensive resorts right in the same area, well valued.

The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and the rooms are top notch as well. Though it's not within walking distance to any local areas of interest you can easily grab a rickshaw for 100 rupees to any place you want to go (though be aware, that the rickshaws right outside the hotel try to charge you much more, ignore them and walk for 3 minutes down to the main street where you will get normal prices, always decide on the price before getting in though)

Un hôtel aux allures de palais de maharaja...avec un léger aspect carton pâte. Décoration très (très) chargée mille peintures sur chaque centimètre carré disponible du sol au plafond, meublés bois incrustés d os de chameau, lit à baldaquins vue absolument incroyable du toit restaurant ( petit déjà sommaire) ...personnel efficace et discret...bref une véritable expérience !!! Chambre absolument gigantesques ( avons eu un surclassement vers une suite) Seul bémol, légèrement excentré et rien autour.
