Portcaman House B&B - بوشميلز

Very comfortable bed and a short walk to Bushmills and the small town centre. Hostess offered some great advice on small day trips which were the highlight of our trip. The Ulster fry was excellent but ask for a small breakfast. Would stay again.

DAWN KEPT EVERYTHING NICE AND TIDY AND WAS REALLY HELPFUL AS ARRIVED LATE IN EVENING. EXCELLENT BREAKFAST - BEST SCRAMBLED EGG IN YEARS!! LOTS OF PARKING (FREE) AND VERY NICE DECOR AND BED VERY COMFY, ALL BEEN DONE OUT RECENTLY, VERY CLEAN AND TIDY. 5 MINS FROM BUSHMILLS DISTILLERY AND AROUND 15 MINS FROM CAUSEWAY.

The Portcaman House is a wonderful B&B located just minutes from the Giant's Causeway. Dawn is a gracious host who is friendly and kind. The room itself (#4) was actually larger than expected and was certainly comfortable with the modern conveniences of HDTV and wireless Internet. An added benefit is the proximity to the Bushmills Inn, a lovey old-world establishment with superb atmosphere and food. I highly recommend staying at the Portcaman House.

Portcaman house is close to Bushmills distillery and to the pubs and local shops. There is a bus stop right in front of the house and it is only a half hour walk to the sea. It is perfect for daily explorations of the giants causeway, even if you don't have a car. Dawn is an awesome host, who can give you a lot of great tips and she provided the best breakfast ever. The house has a lovely atmosphere and I felt right away like at home.

Room was a little cold.

The cooked breakfast was delicious, poached eggs cooked to perfection. The host was friendly and helpful. Our room was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a very cold night and the heaters are turned off between 6 and 8 and then from 10.00pm until morning. This was my only complaint, as we did not get back from dinner until 9.30pm when the heating went off at 10.00pm it was so cold, we had to get into bed to keep warm. I know heating is expensive but as it is a B and B I think the heating on such a cold night and morning the next day the heating should be on for longer.

Enjoyed the two nights and managed to walk the local walks and the coast path. Portcaman is a good central location with good bus links to local attractions, particularly if you are relying on public transport. More promotion of the central location would benefit the accommodation. More information about the range of eating establishments would be good too - big range between Bushmills Inn and the local Chippy, but both good. Great breakfast, particularly the fresh fruit salad! Only one negative - the shower was under-powered in our room. Would recommend Portcaman to others.

Though we had some difficulty finding the hotel (for whatever reason we didn't notice the sign on the side of the building) it was a good location. We walked to dinner and the lady got up really early to make us breakfast and see us off. The room was larger than I was expecting which was a nice bonus!

Good B&B, nice room, nice beds and perfect breakfast. Close to main street and distillery. Very cold room, but extra heather fixed that as well

This B&B is great! Dawn, the owner is really sweet and makes an awesome breakfast! The rooms are super clean and the beds are very warm and comfy! The Bushmills distillery is a 5-minute walk away and Dunluce Castle and the Giant's Causeway are very close and the hike there is very nice! Book this place! Me and my girlfriend were really content!

accueil agréable et chaleureux. tout a été agréable sauf un léger problème de chauffage comblé par un radiateur d'appoint. le top a été le petit déjeuner où un choix impressionnant nous était proposé, le tout servi avec un immense sourire!

部屋も広く、ブレックファーストも満足でした。

Sehr angenehmes B&B. Zentral gelegen, mit einem sehr gutem Frühstück.
