It was a great stay with super staff. The bed was comfortable but incredibly noisy box under the mattress....almost every move made a sound.

The first night, the room was very cold. This should have been verified before renting it. But, once I complained, the desk person offered me a room in the renovated area for 15$ more per night. I refused, she then proposed to send a repairman to check the heating in my room. The room was finally warm after his visit. People need a car because the surrounding neighbourhood is not very attractive, oil raffinery and other industrial companies. By car, it is close to downtown, shopping centre and restaurants. Good breakfast is served at hotel.

nice place to stay only half the hotel was renovated - i paid the minimal fee to upgrade to a new room. all was very good. nice folks

the hotel is well situated -- and is being renovated -- only half the hotel is done - there was an upcharge to stay in a new room. that was reasonable.the staff was friendly and professional

Nice renovated room with heated floor in the bathroom, nice shower and deco.

Will go back. Hotel seems to have good security and staff was very polite and helpful

First impression was ok....after I found the place. The address given to me upon reservation from Hotels.com was incorrect - the correct address is 3600 NOT 33600. Front staff was excellent although english was not a second language...luckily I could speak some french. The current upgrades from the front desk to the main lobby looks great. I love the key mechanism...just a tap and away we go! However, the room I received wasn't upgraded at all...still alot of 90's look and feel. The bathtub looked worn out with not the same showerhead as described, rather old and unkept look - but it worked....lol. The bed was comfortable enough, however, lacked enough pillow comfort for two. Aside from the usual recreational uses of the bed, the sheets came off the corners and exposed the bed a few times by simply rolling over. Ahyway, I'm sure this isn't a normal room after looking at some rooms that the cleaners were finishing up. Oh, by the way, when we purchased a few more hours to stay in our room the cleaning staff was adamant that we change rooms. A quick call to front desk cleared the air - thank you front desk!

Hotel is located 5 minutes away from downtown, facing a paper mill in an industrial area. The hotel has been renovated in part with modern design and average quality amenities. Rooms are smallish. No lamp on desk. Nice hard wood floors, with heated ceramic floors in entrance and bathroom. Small closet.

1- At arrival I have been told that my room was located in the OLD part of the hotel. I can't judge the NEW part, but the OLD is NOT a 3-star hotel. The paid price is to expensive for a room in the OLD part. 2- However, the included breakfast was way better then expected.

Our basic criteria for any hotel is: would we come back again and would we, without hesitation, recommend the hotel to friends. So yes we would. The L"Urbania, while showing signs of its age, was well run, exceptionally clean provided a simple breakfast. The staff seemed to be experienced and professional. The hallway to our room was cold -- no big deal; the factories across the road were a bit off-putting, but there was never an issue with noise either from traffic or the factories. Good value at the price we paid through Hotels. com

A brilliant hotel in excellent condition. A set hot-food breakfast with fruit and a waitress service, a bit posh but very nice. The factory opposite looks like Hades but apparently it's a paper making plant. There is little noise and the clouds are just steam. Hotel is about a mile from a very interesting town.

I would recommend this hotel to everybody. The room was very clean and the restaurant was great.

Pool not maintained properly. Gym not available. One computer for guests and not in right location! Computer in bar and children stopped from using it. Breakfast was bland and portions were miserly. Juice unavailable and milk unavailable for entire week.

Hotel provided a new room for the second day. Hotel did not provide us with an additional discount or other compensation for the trouble.

Disappoint

The outside of the hotel looks a bit...square and unwelcoming but the inside is delightful. Our room was so clean and nicely decorated and the staff were extremely hospitable. I totally recommend staying here. The trip into the old town is easy and quick. Food was good. We were all 3 very pleased with our first ngith in Quebec.

Everything is really excellent, except the wifi signal is very weak, and the breakfast in nice but I was expecting better.

The hotel is in an old industrial sector of Trois rivieres. I was a bit worried at first but the rooms are really quite nice. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are quite modern and extremely clean. It is very quiet. They have beautiful Hardwood floors. The beds are very comfortable. The restaurant staff is very friendly. The food is adequate. I would highly recommend the place.

I was there 2 nights, the first was a nightmare, mildew smell from the bed was so overpowering that I wasn't able to sleep at all. The second night was OK, the new room was correct, but I never got an apology or a refund for the nightmarish night.....thanks a lot, you'll never see me again!!!

Enjoyed the staff and services. I could hear the other guest in thier room and hall ways. My room was very clean and comfortable.

Call the desk for a mdeck of cards. They came we gave a tip. There was 7 cards missing in the deck of cards. Called the desk they said they would be right up but they never came.

I booked a new renovated room for a night with my wife and son. Pleasant staff, very clean room .Good location very,very close from a bunch of restaurants and shops. If I would be picky, the only thing I can say it was about the breakfast was served late, we had to wait 40 minutes. Overall very pleased with our choice it was OK. In my opinion the new rooms are more than 2 stars.

I was very surprised by the quality of the hotel. This is one of the nicest hotel I have been to. Even if it is listed as a 2-star hotel it deserve at least 3.5 stars. I really loved the hardwood floors and the warming tiles in the washroom. Having the sink located outside of the washroom is a good idea too. The only downside was that there are no iron in the room to iron your clothes in the morning. The breakfast was good and was good quality (breakfast was free). Housekeeping procedures needs a little more work; I had to change room because the bed was a bit messy. I recommend this hotel.

Bon service et localisation pratique.

déjeuner gratuit était affreux, les oeufs et le café froids, une tranche de pain froide seulement par personne.

Depuis 4 ans je suis toujours satisfait de mes sejours +/_ 12 nuitees. Le seul point negatif est que le dejeuner inclus debute a 8 heures alors que tout les clients qui ne sont pas en vacances....ils sont au travail a 8 heures.

on s`est fait reveiller dans la nuit , sa frappait dans les portes et parlait tres tres tres fort. pas trop dormi de la nuit

Ne pensez pas avoir une chambre rénovée...Le déjeuner inclus est un peu bizz; deux serveurs qui courent partout et qui se demandent se qu'on fait là à attendre qu'on soit placés à une table déservie..

Si on s'était fié à l'apparence extérieure de cet hôtel, nous n'aurions pas séjourné à cet endroit. De plus, lors de notre réservation, rien n'indiquait que la chambre «standard» était située dans la partie non rénovée. Une chance que la réceptionniste, à notre demande, nous a laissé une chambre au même prix dans la partie rénovée, car nous ne restions pas.

C'étais très bien pour un court séjour. Chambre rénové de style contemporain. En plus, le déjeuner continental chaud compris. Très propre et bonne odeur dans les corridors et la chambre. C'est près de plusieurs services sans être directement sur le boulevard principal des restaurants et magasins. J'y retournerais sans problème. Le personnel était très courtois.

très belle fin de semaine,nous avons été bien acceuillis à la réception,la chambre pas treès grande mais confortable et chaleureuse le plancher chauffant dans le hall et la chambre de bain on a bien aimé ça et la douche est un atoût à notre location pour y retourner lors de notre prochaine séjour à Trois-Rivières,nous vous recommandons cet établissement si vous prenez une chambre dans la partie rénovée.le déjeuner est exellent le seul petit point négatif c'est que le cilex que le serveur avait pour faire le service n'était pas fraichement lavé et j,ai moins aimé.

Service très courtois; chambres très propres. Nous gardons un beau souvenir de notre séjour à l'hôtel Urbania.
