The Bayleaf Intramuros - مانيلا

bayleaf is a nice sight among the old structures of intramuros. very clean, modern, and simplistic. accessible at same time enough distance away from the noise of the streets and people to give you privacy and quiet rest. the standard room is small but very cozy and comfortable.

The estaff and service people were extremely polote and nice. There were 2 drawbacks 1 - the rules for happy hour as advertised in the reception hall were absolutely not applied at the rooftop penthouse bar. They charged far more. 2 - late check-out could be a it more flexible. Our flight was at 19h49 so we wanted to check-out at 16h00 which they charge us have rate. So I guess its fair to say that the management should apply some of the service orientation that their staff is showing.

A relatively new hotel which,at times,trips over it's attempts to be good by overlooking the details which make a stay memorable. Rooms are excellent,clean & serviced properly with superb shower facilities & comfortable beds.Breakfast is good but with some odd mixes of food offered buffet style.Needs more varieties of fruit and yoghurt needs to be provided.Service at all times was excellent but the need to use the same cutlery for cooked food and fruit etc is a little odd! The restaurant at other times of the day is popular and offers good fare but the need for better washing of salads etc needs attention. The 'Sky' terrace facility occupying the whole of the hotel roof is outstanding,atmospheric & romantic and offers terrific 360 views of Intramuros & parts of Manila. Full bar & food service is on offer & always efficiently served with a smile. The hotel can be a little noisy at times with functions happening on the lower floors & upper floor rooms being let to the attendees who are intent on having a good (and sometimes raucous) time. The hotel is situated within the walls of Intramuros in an area which is less frenetic than downtown Malate or Ermita and is thus generally somewhat quieter. All in all this is an excellent hotel offering first rate services at reasonable prices and I thus recommend it to others.

A modern hi-rise hotel above the historical flavor and surroundings of the old Manila city walls; and a perfect birds-eye view of the shopping mall, the golf course, the fort battlements and rusty cannons below from atop the penthouse patio – which is an incredible spot for a relaxed evening dinner . Bayleaf provides exquisite accommodations with a unique blend of intercity convenience, quaint village atmosphere and splendid personal touch service, equaled only by top 5 star competitors – but at down to earth prices. I can’t wait to get back!

Nice staff ,young team , hotel well located with nice view on the city and the golf course . the only bad point is that not many taxis are available near the hotel and you should go out of intramuros to find them more easily ( just one minute walk)

I stayed in the hotel with my fiancee for 3 nights. It is nicely located inside the intrmurous which is the old part of Manila with its typical spanish/colonial style. When you enter the intrmourous, it's almost like going into another city and another era than the rest of metro-manila. Nice views from the restaurant and the rooftop bar. There are of course better hotels in the city, but when you take into the account the daily rate we paid, I doubt you'll find any. The hotel didn't have a swimming pool, but then again we didn't really miss that either. All in all a nice place to stay at a reasonable price.

After reading a few reviews online, my wife and i decided to check in for a night. At the entrance, we saw that this is a training hotel (run by Lyceum U). The front desk girls were almost too eager to please --- and being a Filipino in the Philippines, i found references to "the lift" amusing. The room was tastefully designed, and the view of the golf course and old Manila gave it added ambiance. Everything was clean and comfy. A nit: there was nothing in the minibar ref (and turns out, it wasn't working --- but then, neither did we call room service to have this seen), so the deposit the front desk asked for seemed unnecessary. Unlike in other hotels where Filipinos are treated like common crooks, the staff were most trusting. We drove up to park in the basement; when we told the guard that we were hotel guests, he didn't bother with ID or papers, he just whisked us in. Same when we walked into the cafe for breakfast, they simply asked for a room number. The breakfast, by the way, was a modest spread, but adequate in variety. And since the cafe was on the 9th floor, there was the view once again, this time with the morning sun... nice. For a training hotel, the owners not only thought of the facilities for their students, they also designed the hotel for their guests' enjoyment. I would certainly recommend this place as a more-than-adequate alternative to the cold, antiseptic, CBD hotels, 5-star ratings notwithstanding.

The Bayleaf hotel is conveniently located at the entrance of Intramuros. This hotel is very chic with outstanding customer service. We've noticed that the other hotels in Manila had very firm beds as the mattress is supported on a wooden platform; but the Bayleaf hotel bed is plush and very comfortable. We've noticed that their mattress is supported by a box spring just like the beds in the United States. This hotel is very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend the Bayleaf hotel.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Very clean and newly renovated although the rooms are quite small compared to conventional hotel rooms. The staff are all smiles and very helpful. The breakfast was simple, but filling. Quiet surroundings and provides a view of old Manila. I definitely want to stay here again in the future. I would also highly recommend it to friends.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Modern,decent room. I really like the bathroom w/c is always my preference ,very clean and modern design. Hot shower all the time. Roof top breakfast with an awesome view.

We stayed in this newly opened hotel (4 months open) from Dec 24 to 27th 2011.... Its a nice hotel, very clean with very friendly and helpful staff.... Room was a Superior Room which was very small indeed, but had a lovely bathroom, great Shower and a nice comfy bed..but the room size really lets it down.. Our room over looked the golf course and Manila City hall... This hotel has a fantastic roof top area where you can see a full 360 Picture of Manila and relax with a cold beer...... Night time is best.... The hotel is in the old part of Manila and not an area wheere you would want to walk .... You just would not feel safe as its a bit run down....

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt aufgrund des guten Service und der Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter. Verbesserungsvorschlag: Stadtplan von Manila an der Reception, damit man sich über die genaue Lage des Hotels informieren kann, um z. B. die LRT-Station finden zu können, damit man schneller Makati erreicht. Evt. Vergrößerungsspiegel im Bad für ältere Damen anbringen.

인트라무로스 내에 위치햇다는 점이 장점 아침일찍 일어나 인트라무로스를 관광하거나, 반나절이상 긴시간을 들여 인트라무로스를 천천히 관광할 생각이 있다면 추천!!

Отличный отель за свои деньги. Замечательный вышколенный персонал. Вкусный шведский стол на завтрак. К единственному небольшому недостатку можно отнести относительную трудность с нахождением отеля для таксистов - в интрамуросе практически нигде не подписаны улицы.
