Cityinn Hotel Plus-Taichung Station Branch - تايشونج

We had a comfortable night in there.

the hotel is not easy to be spotted because it is among the shophouses. However, its location is good because it is near the bus station. Travelling around taichung is mostly via buses so staying there is very convenient, especially when the bus frequency is about an hr. the buffet is good. front desk service is good because the staff is able to advise us on the route to our destination as well as give advices. they even printed out the time schedule as well as the bus route for us!

Hotel is creative to have different themes from 6th floor to 10th floor corridors. Rooms are also designed in different themes. Rooms interior are very clean & nicely decor. Hotel staff are very friendly, they will assist us in any enquiries we have. There's also a pantry area equiped with microwave for hotel customers to use. Breakfast buffet provided has little varieties but acceptable taste. Hotel is next to Taichung train station but no shopping malls near. Going to Feng jia night market have to take taxi because quite far. And for Yi zhong night market have to take public bus from opp street. Not a good area if you're a shopperholic! Overall, I love the hotel!

Great location, just behind the railway/ bus station in a city that has a pretty bad transportation system, which makes it even more important. Staff was excellent, super helpful and polite. Amazing thing abt this hotel is that it provides free washing machines at the first floor. Breakfast was great also. Selection of tv programmes were great. Rooms were really small but if you don't mind a cosy room all other aspects of the hotel were excellent. The best hotel I stayed in my 8 day trip to Taiwan.

Excellent value for money. The hotel is located very near Taichung Railway Station. The hotel looked very new and the room we stayed in was very clean though there wasn't much of a view. The breakfast and service were also excellent.

The staff took a note down of my request for theme room and I was given a theme room upon my arrival. Thumb up!! All the staff from the hotel are friendly and helpful. Cheers!!

5-min walk to Taichung station. A new and energetic hotel. A clean but a bit small room (even though we have been upgraded due to late check-in). Free laundering service. Excellent breakfast buffet. A relaxing corner on the G/F for internet service and rest. Overall speaking, highly recommended.

Very near to 24 hours Hypermarket Carrefour. Very confortable once you are in the room. Like the 24 hours Lobby cafe. Double Thumbs Up!

Best convenient hotel for meeeee. for traveller with longer holiday trip, this hotel provide free self service 24hr laundry services. And to specially mention the customer services was excellent!!! If you are going Taichung please go to this hotel. Best value hotel.

Very clean and well maintained hotel. Service is very good and all staffs are very friendly and helpful. Location is just average though, its near Taichung main train station but needs a bit of travelling to reach the bustling shopping and food area - Yizhong & Fengjia. However, I will still choose to stay at this hotel again due to its good service!

Is was very near to the Train Station. Staff are very friendly. Highly recommend.

Really impressed by how helpful and friendly the staff are. Thos is perhaps, their greatest strength. Room is not big but enough for me and my family to live comfortably. A lot of facilities are available as well. Eg: oven in public area, washing machine.

My family and I had a great stay at the hotel for three nights. The service was great. Though the room was small, it has everything you need. It is clean & cosy. I like that there are difference theme from level 6 onwards. The friendly staff made our stay even better, recommended us where to find good food & what bus to take. Overall, Taiwanese is friendly & approachable people. If you have doubt or lost your way, they are willing to give you direction.

Overall a Value for Money Hotel. Very good location, train station is only 2 mins walks from hotel and there are alot of eateries nearby. There is a new shopping mall - Mode Mall nearby where there is 24 hr carrefour, food court, Bubble tea house - Chun Shui Tang. Hotels provide superb services, with laundry, very clean room, breakfast may not have alot of spread, and food finishes fast without much replenish but it is consider good with the kind room rate we are paying.

A pleasant stay, very friendly & helpful staff, really good value for money...highly recommended.

Good value for $$. 3 min walk via the underpass from the train station. However the hotel is a 30 min taxi ride to Fengjia night market and 20 min taxi ride to HSR station.

A little bit hard to find at the 1st time and the room is small but comfortable, overall it is a great quality hotel, especially the theme of it!

Everything with this hotel is good except that the room is a bit small. I'm impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and the services rendered by the hotel staff. Worth visiting ChangHua (BaGua Shan) & LuGang (old street).

Summary - Unfortunately when we arrived in Taichung it was already quite late, and only an overnight stay. 100% recommend this place, you will love it. Quality of hotel service - Great. While english is limited, they have staff who can converse and very happy to help out. They have free coffee/tee/net and also laundry services. Very surprised. Condition or maintenance of the hotel - This is a new hotel, and is spotless Cleanliness of your room - Brilliant. Comfort of your room - Their room is not designed to hold large amount of lugguages. But seriously its a small matter. They had everything and very very clean/nice indeed. Large TV with all the channels. Convenience of hotel location - Location is slightly out of the way to Taichung's night market, about 5-10 mins ride to get there (as well as bus station) Surrounding neighbourhood - Unfortunately there was no time to look around, but the place is near, slight walking distance, to the famous night markets.

It is a boutique hotel with very interesting deco. Room is really tiny but clean. Service staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is pretty new and it will help if you mention the hotel's chinese name to the taxi driver if you are taking a cab to the hotel. It is very near to the Taichung train station but very far from the high speed rail. AVs are readily accessable, which is not a plus point to families with children.

The location is very close to the train station which is very convient to traveller. Apart from this, the hotel is super clean and nice. Furthermore, the staff is very friendly and help. Highly recommend this hotel.

Loved how they provide free use of laundry facilities with four washer/dryer machines and free detergent. Not only that, the hotel staff will move your clothes from washer to dryer, and then from dryer to basket during the night for you. Hallway and room decor is very contemporary and hip. The room is rather small, but they provide free snacks, water and more in the hotel room. Breakfast was good. They provided our 18 month old toddler with a cool airplane plate and matching cup and spoon at breakfast. Hotel is right next to train station and shopping areas. Lots of cake shops in the area for some reason.

At a busy area with lots to eat & see. Friendly and caring service, pretty rooms, good breakfast......if really want to find fault with this hotel location is that I need to go through an underpass from taichung train station to reach the hotel which is a bit tiring with lugguage

If you're looking for a hotel near public transportation to almost everywhere in taichung, look no further than cityinn plus tai chung. Stayed there for 3 nights and enjoyed every single moment of it. The staff took time to explain everything and showed us all the local tourist destination and food joints. Definitely will return to stay there on my next trip to tai chung!

The location of this hotel is great but the room was smaller than expected. Overall, not too bad for the price.

This is definitely a hotel suitable for family and the services at the counters are top-notch. The staff addresses your concerns promptly. The hotel is new, hence the rooms are cleaned. The rooms are also decorated based on several themes so they actually brighten your day. Its stragetic location, which is just before the railway station, enables the hotel to be easily accessible.

Excellent choice. All is good except the staircase that you have to go thru to the rail station.

helpful and friendly staff

Stayed for 2 nights with my wife and 2 years old son. My best stay in taiwan out of the 4 hotels we stayed in the 10 days period. The reception staff are the most friendly staff we had encountered. The hotel rooms and corridors have its own unique theme. The food is nice but the only cons is that the place where we had our hotel breakfast is quite small and it get crowded during morning but the staff are responsive to find a table to accommodate the 3 of us.

The hotel location is great, just right behind Taichung train station. The shopping mall just 10min walking distance from hotel. The breakfast is great although with limited choice. The counter staff are friendly and helpful. The lobby provide free hot drink and free internet and free lundry with self service. It a new hotel hope they can keeep up the good work.

best location, best service but small room cannot greet my friend in room.may be next time pay more money to rent the bigger room.
